This is the most non-glitz or glam part of the event rental business but NEEDED to get the job done efficiently and well especially starting off. 🔖save this post | ↗️ share the info | ➕ Follow our page for more event rental ideas, promotions & content. I got stories to TELL! 1 STORAGE CONTAINERS: I will never be less annoyed than when I saw my bottom tote on of a stack of 4 bent all out of shape looking like a deflated balloon because of the totes on top of it. It ruined the inventory in it. 2 STORAGE SHELVES I could barely get those little plastic shelves and cheap shelves assembled. Long story short: If each shelf isn't built to hold 500-1k lbs each they belong to the streets not the event rental industry. 3 DOLLY & CARTS After making 10 roundtrip hikes to deliver just 40 rental chairs and transporting these monsters called banquet tables one by one, I realized something. My most despised inventory was my most profitable and I could enjoy renting it if I could deal with loading & and unloading it once and quickly using a cart or dolly. 4 MOVING BLANKETS: After filling up the trucks with lots of 5' rounds that just WOULD NOT stay strapped in I learned how much of a miracle worker blankets were for preventing scuffing of $1,200 chairs & and to help strapped from sliding off of slippery inventory.
