synopsis. you, suguru and the taste of victory lingering on his lips as intoxicating nectar — or, my humble thoughts about F1 driver ! suguru
a/n. i can’t stop thinking about formula 1 driver!geto and in honor of japan gp (that is only 4h away), here i bring my wild thoughts. i wrote this on a whim after seeing the qualifying results of today, lmao. unfortunately i really love this idea, so i hope i’ll be able to write a full and lengthy os one day — 🐣
Tumblr media
F1 driver!geto who is the most successful driver in the whole season. age 27, suguru has already made a name for himself in the whole championship. shocking, entertaining and winning over the hearts of every single fan out there.
F1 driver!geto that started the season in melbourne with many problems with the car, but never once became a less dangerous competitor for the world drivers championship title. he managed to secure the podium at least in seventeen races out of twenty-one, his name becoming a guarantee for his whole team.
F1 driver!geto who is now racing for the very last race of the season, in one of the hardest circuits known to man in singapore. the humidity is high, the tension suffocating, the steering wheel slippery underneath the gloves. suguru has to survive two hours of pure adrenaline, remaining focused on the circuit and getting out of the twenty-three curves that create the circuit of marina bay.
F1 driver!geto who you easily spot amongst the waves of people starting to disappear from the box. the start of the race only measly hours away, and you can feel the pressure going up. higher than any other race you’ve attended until now. this is the finale and both the drivers have to do well to end the season in the top five at least.
F1 driver!geto with whom you’ve crossed paths with many times in the last year. it’s natural after all, you suppose. you’ve been working as haibara yū’s pr manager for two seasons now, marking probably the longest contract you’ve ever had with the formula one team. they have been impressed by your work and you’ve been more than happy to making it through so far.
F1 driver!geto who has always caught your attention from the beginning. a driver that left behind him only sparks in the narrowest of curves, the same ones that would proclaim him a hero all over again. you can see, as the people disperse inside the box, his gaze focused on the asphalt. his tight and firm hold over the steering wheel of the single-seater car.
F1 driver!geto that when locks his eyes with yours, make you feel weak and exposed all of the sudden. making your heart beat like that very first day you have met him.
F1 driver!geto that gets taken away together with haibara on the earned pole position from yesterday’s qualifying session. you watch him sprint from one of the many monitors of the box, his first lap time probably one of the best performances this season. you feel your knees tremble slightly as you bring your hands to your lips in a silent prayer: “please, let him come back safely from the circuit”
F1 driver!geto who is left on your hands for the upcoming press conferences as nanami is being called in the paddock for an urgent matter. you try to memorize the events listed on the paper left by nanami in a matter of three laps. three laps only to end this big and so anxiously awaited finale.
F1 driver!geto who takes home the golden ambitious prize of the season, earning his third consecutive title of world champion. and the scuderia becomes a complete mess once the car hits the finish line underneath the checkered flag, with never ending hugs and pats on each other’s backs for the hard work. haibara is confirmed fourth. you swear you saw tears of joy gathering on the corners of some engineers at the pit-wall.
F1 driver!geto that jumps out the car the moment he comes back on the pit-lane, indulging everyone’s excitement and answering back with more enthusiasm on his part. a japanese flag immediately being placed proudly on his tracksuit by his mother. a baseball hat taking over the place of the helmet in a blink.
F1 driver!geto whose party dies a little bit too soon once you grab his wrist and leads him down the hallway, telling him that he must reach the podium on the other side of the paddock in a few minutes. however, you don’t notice the smile that curls around his lips. a soft gleam in his eyes, dimming even further the heavy presence of adrenaline in his body.
F1 driver!geto that stops in his tracks and brings you closer with a hand on your hips, turning you around with a swift and smooth motion and making you yelp. “not even a kiss for your champion? that’s rude dear” and he’s teasing, you know he’s just teasing you. it’s infuriating. and yet, you fall for it once again. cupping his cheek with a hand and leaning in to kiss him. your emotions all over the place: worry, fear, happiness, excitement… love. your brain short circuiting as soon as your lips meets his, and you are acutely made aware of just how much he needed this tiny moment with you alone.
F1 driver!geto who announces publicly his relationship with you only a week later. a press conference at eight in the morning, only the two drivers of the scuderia sitting in front of the panel, and you can’t help but feeling giddy when you hear suguru confirming the rumors about a rumored relationship. your name sounding so soft coming from his lips. and you see the smile he gives, plastered on the TV screen, when he confirms his name for the next season. his adrenaline contagious. and you can’t wait to see him once again in the place he belongs to: the highest place on the podium after another great and successful season.

hi you seem like a really cool person!
i’m trying to get into punk culture and i was wondering if you had any tips? bc i’ve seen a lot of conflicting opinions,,,
also what’s the show?
also also any queer punk bands you recommend?
hope you have a good time :)
when i was first getting into the punk scene in singapore i didnt go to shows cause the scene was wack.
what i did do was listen to punk music i culd find, make my own patch clothing, make patches
nowadays i go to shows every week which is very lovely
A thing u can do at home are making zines, u can just use a piece of paper and scissors to make one without any equipment. Google it. then fill it with anything, song lyrics u like, drawings, things about ur life. :3 thats smth fun to do
Reading punk zines made by other people is always great! Last one i read was fucking trans woman and it was great!
working and making ur own bracelets and studding and spiking em. Just working on ur punk diyed wardrobe is always good!
i had been working in my stuff before i joined the scene in Van so when i arrived i was able to quickly be decked out in patches and the fashion. I got a sick fit every show.
Learn how to play an instrument and learn how to play some punk music u like if ur musically inclined. I was playing the ukulee for years before i was into folkpunk but i managed to intergrate it into my style easily since folkpunk fits with acoustic styles well!
Learn a circus skill that u can bring with u to shows. I would recommend to learn to use poi which is my personal favourite. Theyre fun to entertain drunk and high people at shows with. Its fun to flow with to music. I have LED pois that light up and look super cool. One day im going to learn fire poi when im skilled enough!
the show was a pride event thing, was watching goats and lasers perform which was great. Now at a different show with my gf rnow.
I reccomend sister wife sex strike

for the f1 2024 ask, 8 & 18
f1 2024 asks :3
8. Favorite special helmet
ooh tough choice honestly there were SO many good ones this year (all grid round but I am, clearly, heavily biased towards Lando). first instinct is to say Lando and Oscar's singapore helmets (do not separate them) but Lando's herend porcelain one for hungary is both absolutely gorgeous and just special to me on a personal level (raaahhh hungary and all). Zhou's special helmet for the chinese gp is also a massive contender. and Charles' monaco and abu dhabi ones (the latter because it makes me want to sob tbh). Max's WDC helmet. Lando's qatar/abu dhabi helmet. all the helmets.
18. A rule you'd make for next year
first of all, fix the FiA. just in general jfc what even were some of these penalties this year. and second, make the end-of-season "rookie race" or whatever the fuck they were calling it real. for the uninitiated it would basically be a race after the end of the F1 season in which next years rookies/junior drivers in F2/F1A get to try their luck in the F1 cars for a (I assume sprint-like) race. lowkey less relevant this year since there's gonna be 5 whole ass rookies coming in next season anyway but like think about it. 20 youngins with absolutely nothing to lose on track. in F1 cars. IMAGINE the divebombs and heroics (and the exposure they would all get!). if F2 is anything to go off of that race would be possibly the most entertaining event of the year (and relatively stress free for the viewers). the fact it was not implemented for this year is such an FiA fumble

I feel like this race really highlighted how many of Lando fans are newer fans or even dts fans. Or even anti Max fans. I stand by the fact that if the roles were reversed this would be a non issue from everyone.
Im curious if the GDPA or anyone would look into changing the rule or giving it extra clarity due to recent events.
I feel like McKaren is going to be up the FIA’s ass about it or something 😂 tbh I don’t see the GPDA making a fuss because I don’t think the drivers are confused. I think the confusion was if Lando was ahead and where “Apex” starts which maybe they can ask for clarification but the stewards aren’t going to provide a line like a DRS like for every track.
The GPDA can maybe ask that stewards be consistent in handing out penalties across a race but again they can pull out a bunch of screenshots showing George behind at the same point Max was ahead so it’s a hard point to argue. And Lap 1 isn’t even a thing because they hardly ever penalise lap 1 and that’s for the good of everyone.
I feel like this is a non issue that has been blown out of proportion by people who hate Max. And yeah stewarding is inconsistent but I’ve only ever seen that brought up when Max is involved (eg Singapore 2023, Austria, now, all the pitlane drama last year). The stewarding is an ongoing discussion that fans only pick up on when it’s about Max.
They could ask to change the rule but change it to what? That’s a long conversation really.
The vocal Lando fans who do the arguing are always young and new to motorsport. I’m reluctant to say DTS fans because you can get in through any channel and take the time to learn and understand the sport so that shouldn’t be an issue. But a lot of them give “I don’t watch the races I just watch the highlights” or “I like to watch the cars go fast I’ve never seen any analysis of the actual driving”. Which is fine if you just watch it for entertainment but you can’t come and argue a point with no basis.
At the end of the day it’s totally legitimate to not enjoy the way Max drives. It’s literally fine to say he drives like a twat and it sucks to watch him succeed by just being a huge bully on track. That’s an opinion and you can have whichever one of those you want. What you can’t do is say “he drives outside the rules” with your whole chest and expect everyone to agree with you. That’s ignorant af. And I feel like they feel the former and say the latter and it’s like…just dislike him in peace you don’t have to justify it with straight bullshit 😂

Drive to Survive Season 6(Luci's version)
How I'd direct DTS season 6.
The drive to Survive Season 6 we all deserve. Netflix ignored so much about 2023 and has stepped up in it's inaccurate portrayals of certain events/teams. So I am doing this.
Drive to Survive is about the narrative and creating contained stories within the broader scope of an entire F1 season. I will make editing choices to create a more tight and cohesive narrative but never anything misleading.
Also this is a Charles blog so yes I will be giving him more screen-time because I want to.
Without further ado, Drive to Survive Season 6 (Luci's Version)
Tumblr media
Episode 1 "Away We Go!" : Season intro episode. Seeing all the teams, some highlights from preseason testing, introduce the new faces on the grid.
I will be editing the first half of the episode as most of DTS should be edited, Office style. The drivers are funny together and mess around, we are gonna show them being themselves when not in the car.
Then the second half of the episode will focus on the opening race in Bahrain. With special focus on Max and Fernando's races.
Episode 2 "The Eagle and the Kiwi" : This is the rookie episode!
Of course we will be highlighting Logan and Oscar's rookie seasons. The struggles they faced, the highlights of their seasons. How they got along in the new team.
For Oscar plenty of him being teammates with Lando, early struggles, then cut to him getting his first podium and P1 in the sprint!
Logan can highlight some of the challenges coming from F2 to F1. Of course we would do Austin, talk about his home race, show his improvement and how he developed over the season (Vegas etc)
They are very different rookies however they both improved over the season and we want to show just how cut-throat F1 is and the kind of sink or swim approach rookies face.
Would show some similarities and differences between the two 2023 rookies. And I would get them to give an interview together about their first year in F1 because that would be cute.
Episode 3 "Some Papaya" : Mclaren episode! The theme being the story of their new teammate dynamic between Oscar and Lando, and the chaotic season that ended on some crazy high notes.
First more about how Mclaren has one of the most impressive rookies in Formula 1 history.
Then I have to include lots of footage of Oscar and Lando being silly(for very important entertainment purposes)
Then we dig into the early season failures and how the team made some massive improvements. Montage of the podiums they scored, of course Oscar's sprint win makes a reappearance.
The main idea here being that this team is going somewhere and they are getting closer to being competitive regularly with the other top teams.
Episode 4 "Trouble in Paradise" : The Mercedes episode. Similar to Netflix I would focus in on trouble behind the scenes and the issues Lewis has with the development direction of the car.
Include some of the early Ferrari rumors(will set it up perfectly for season 7 transfer reveal)
Then we go to see that George is struggling still being treated as second to Lewis. Show his season highlights, as well as where he is still making mistakes(Singapore)
Basically this is really digging into the mess that is Mercedes, Lewis unhappy, the plethora of problems with the car, and George getting close to his limit being under Lewis' shadow.
Episode 5 "Civil War" : Stealing Netflix's title, and it's the Alpine episode but I am doing it right.
Will explore the issues Esteban and Pierre had on track. The competition between the two, how that caused tension. Will show their race highlights as well as battles. Emphasis placed on times when them over-competing with each other did not end well.
Then dig a little deeper behind the scenes. Show other issues that went on at Alpine in terms of car development etc.
Of course we want to also show that Este and Pierre have been competing for a long time and have history. Hype of the teammate rivalry. Get them to share silly stories about each other on and off the track.
The theme of the episode would be the idea of how too much internal fighting on the track can be detrimental to the team(calling back to some Ferrari strategies of the past)
Episode 6 "Forza Ferrari" : Yes I am using the same title as Netflix but I am doing it right.
This episode would be most focused on Charles but we would also go over Carlos' season. The theme is the change in management and the upward trajectory of the team and Charles in spite of having a challenging car/season
Start by establishing that Ferrari were fighting the car all season. Show the technical issues, but then show the little improvements made along the way, build up from the DNF in Bahrain to Charles taking P2 back to back at the end of the season. Highlight how much skill it took to do that in a car that had serious reliability and tyre deg issues. Show the Vegas overtake, show his insane "what's the gap between Checo and Russell" moment.
Then of course we will mention Carlos' win in Singapore, how that was a step up in hope for Ferrari, how that aided the team in staying close with Mercedes.
Then finish by focusing on how Fred is taking the team in a new direction, show moments behind the scenes that are in stark contrast to what we saw from Binotto in the past.
The main theme being that this was a season when Ferrari really had to fight a lot with the hand they were dealt as far as the car went, and the team stepped up, actually being true to "Forza Ferrari"
It starts tough, but ends on a hopeful note.
(we will not mention Monza because I would scream)
Episode 7 "More Than Heat" : This episode will focus on several issues in the 2023 season, most notably the Qatar GP, but also the Vegas drain cover incident as well as the impacts to Vegas as as whole.
This is the episode that Netflix would never be allowed to make because it would be highly critical of the money driven incentives behind F1 being put before driver safety and the local impacts.
Include footage and testimony from drivers and their teams talking about the heat, concerns over the dangers. Get an interview with Logan over stepping out of the race.
Then go to Vegas, show how rushed everything was. And then of course highlight how the drain cover was negligent and dangerous. Carlos was lucky, but he was still mildly injured and shaken.
This is the much needed F1 as entertainment above safety episode. It would be the most serious in tone of the season.
Episode 8 "What Happens in Vegas" : This is the Vegas episode!
This will be a race and spectacle centered episode that sets up the tight constructor's race between Ferrari and Mercedes.
Of course I will be highlighting Charles' race here, the overtake, the podium, what it means for him and for Ferrari.
Include plenty of cool night time shots, and also several memorable meme moments (Checo's entrance and the car post race, comedy gold) I want to create drama and entertainment here in the spirit of Vegas, so we get a lot of silly comedic moments then with the dramatic race.
The episode would center around it being one of the most exciting races of the season, highlight Charles, and showcase some of the most tense and best parts of the race.
It also works to set up the stage for the final two episodes.
Episode 9 "Race to Second" : This is the episode about the tight race between Mercedes and Ferrari over the course of the season. With Red Bull clearly in the lead we will look at the close battle that happened in 2023.
Going over the highlights and lowlights for each team, the back and forth, the strategy by both teams to try to stay in the lead, the tension of it coming down to positioning in the last race.
In 2023 this competition was probably the most exciting part of 2023 in terms of competition between teams.
Final moments will be the Abu Dhabi race, Charles radio "what's the gaps between Checo and Russell" a breakdown of what that meant and why it was brilliant.
Ending with the final fallout, of Mercedes just barely beating Ferrari.
Episode 10 "Anything but Inevitable" : The entire season we have barely talked about Max at this point. People are going "WHERE IS MAX?" and as the director that's exactly what I want.
This is Max's episode. Starting with shots form his first F1 race, cutting to his first F1 win, then a montage of all the difficult races, the DNFs, the years where he was getting ahead of himself. Then cut to that first win in Bahrain with an enhanced orchestral interpretation of the Dutch anthem.
The entire episode will focus on his historic his season was. Highlight some of his finest driving of the season, some of the iconic radio moments.
The episode title is meant to highlight the work Max did, everyone likes to think he's always had it easy, that being naturally gifted carries you, that a good car carries you. No, he WORKED and dealt with a lot of bullshit, especially in those early years. He wasn't inevitable, he made his own destiny.
Ending with that final podium shot with a slow piano version of the dutch anthem(for maximum tears) and then cut to some of Max's first F1 interviews talking about where he sees himself going.
End Season

The Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore was buzzing with anticipation. The night race under the dazzling city lights was always a spectacle, and the drivers were ready to push their limits. One driver, Sergio Perez, had been looking forward to this weekend, but fate had other plans.
**Pit Wall Radio:** "Checo, you've run wide in sector three. How's the car? Can you confirm damage?"
**Sergio Perez:** *breathing heavily* "Yes, I've hit the barriers. Rear left feels off, and I think the gearbox is done. Bringing it back to the pits."
The tension was palpable as Perez maneuvered his car back to the pit lane. The team swarmed around the car, assessing the damage. Team Principal Christian Horner looked on, concern etched across his face.
**Christian Horner:** "What's the status, guys?"
**Lead Mechanic:** "Rear left suspension is damaged, and the gearbox took a significant hit. We're going to need a gearbox change."
Christian Horner nodded, his face set in a grim expression. A gearbox change would trigger a five-place grid penalty, a heavy blow for Perez, especially given his recent form and his strong record at Singapore.
**Christian Horner:** "Alright, let's get to work. We need to have the car ready for qualifying."
The mechanics sprang into action, working with precision and speed. Perez climbed out of the car, pulling off his helmet and running a hand through his hair, visibly frustrated.
**Sergio Perez:** "Damn it, I can't believe this happened now. We were looking so good."
Tumblr media
**Christian Horner:** *placing a reassuring hand on Perez's shoulder* "I know, Checo. It's a tough break, but we'll handle it. You've been in great form, and we can still salvage a good result. Focus on qualifying, and we'll take it from
As the mechanics continued their work, Perez took a seat in the garage, watching the activity around his car. He knew that starting five places down from wherever he qualified would make the race an uphill battle, but he had faced adversity before and come out stronger.
**Max Verstappen:** *walking over to Perez* "Tough luck, mate. But if anyone can make up those places, it's you."
**Sergio Perez:** *smiling faintly* "Thanks, Max. Just need to keep my head down and push." **Narrator:**
The hours passed quickly, and soon it was time for qualifying. Sergio Perez sat in his car, helmet on, trying to calm his racing thoughts. He knew that every lap mattered, especially with the impending grid penalty.  The session was grueling. Perez pushed his car to the limit, but the frustration was evident. He managed to qualify in P8, which meant he would start the race from P13 after the penalty. The weight of disappointment hung heavily on his shoulders as he walked back to the team garage.
Sergio Perez:** *muttering to himself* "P13... This is going to be a nightmare. I can't believe it."
Tumblr media
As Perez walked through the paddock, he took a detour to clear his mind. In a quiet corner, he noticed a small statue partially hidden behind a stack of tires. It was a peculiar object, resembling a demon with an unsettling grin. Intrigued, he reached out and picked it up.
Tumblr media
**Sergio Perez:** *examining the statue* "What on earth is this? Looks ancient.
Just as he turned the statue in his hands, a sudden gust of wind howled through the paddock, sending a shiver down his spine. The wind seemed to whisper his name.
**Ethereal Voice:** "Checo... Checooo..." **
Perez spun around, eyes scanning the dimly lit area. There was no one in sight. His heart pounded as he took a step forward, still clutching the statue. Suddenly, a dense cloud of black smoke swirled before him, coalescing into a towering figure with malevolent eyes and an aura of dark power. Perez's grip on the statue tightened as the figure spoke, its voice deep and resonant.
Tumblr media
**Pazuzu:** "I am Pazuzu, Checo. I bring you great power, but you must allow me inside to make you a great champion."
Perez's heart raced, his mind struggling to process what was happening. The figure before him was both terrifying and mesmerizing, its presence commanding his attention.
**Sergio Perez:** *voice trembling* "What do you mean, 'allow you inside'?"
**Pazuzu:** "I can grant you the strength, skill, and fortune needed to dominate the track. But you must accept me into your soul. Only then can you achieve the greatness you seek."
Perez hesitated, the weight of the decision pressing down on him. He had always prided himself on his hard work and determination, but the lure of instant greatness was tempting. The memory of his frustrating qualifying session flashed through his mind, amplifying his desire for redemption.
**Sergio Perez:** *nervously* "And what will happen to me if I accept? What will you do?"
**Pazuzu:** "I will amplify your abilities, sharpen your instincts, and guide your path to victory. But you must trust me completely, Checo. There is always a price for power, but the rewards will far outweigh the costs."
The words echoed in Perez's mind. He could almost feel the power radiating from Pazuzu, promising success and glory. But a part of him remained wary, questioning the true cost of such a bargain.
**Sergio Perez:** *taking a deep breath* "If I accept, will I still be myself? Will I have control?"
**Pazuzu:** *smirking* "You will be more than yourself, Checo. You will be enhanced, a force to be reckoned with. Control will be yours, guided by my wisdom and power."
Perez looked down at the statue in his hand, feeling its cold, ancient surface. The temptation was immense. He had worked tirelessly his entire career, and now, here was an opportunity to elevate himself to an entirely new level.
**Sergio Perez:** *voice firming* "Alright, Pazuzu. I accept. Make me the champion I know I can be."
As soon as the words left his lips, the black smoke surged forward, enveloping him in a swirling vortex. Perez felt an intense heat and energy coursing through his body, like a thousand lightning strikes iigniting every nerve. His vision blurred, and he could hear the deep, resonant laughter of Pazuzu echoing in his mind.
Tumblr media
**Pazuzu:** "Welcome to greatness, Checo."
Perez's senses sharpened almost instantly. Colors seemed more vivid, sounds clearer, and he felt a newfound strength in his muscles. It was as if he had been reborn, every fiber of his being enhanced by the dark entity now within him.
**Sergio Perez:** *breathing heavily* "What... what is this power?"
**Pazuzu:** "It is the beginning of your transformation. Use it wisely, and you will achieve the glory you desire."
The chapter ends with the song "Tu y Yo Somos Uno Mismo By Timbiriche" which symbolizes the union between Checo and the evil Pazuzu.
To be continued.....
