Hey so, I just had such a visceral response hearing this that I think this may be THE Finneas song, because I just sobbed about it.

I can't really explain because spoilers, but there's significant amounts of imagery (for example, reflections in water...that's all you're getting!) that made me go huh wait what did this song just say?

Five listens later, yeah. After years of playing around with Finneas and having several songs for him, I think this is the one. As things are starting to take shape, I don't think it'll be changing again.

There are multiple perspectives and lenses that fit him, several relationships that suit the lyrics.

But most of all, I think it's the relationship with himself. It'll all comes back to the man in the reflection.

Goddamn I really can't wait to show you all what I've done.
