What’s up chat, today we’re going to start reading the acclaimed visual novel Tee-sucky-him-eee.

Just kidding, of course, I know the actual pronunciation of the title is Tsukihime. The title is a combination of “Tsuki”, meaning “love”, and “Hime”, an affectionate shortening of the name of Orihime Inoue from Bleach. I’m not sure how a Bleach dating sim became so popular, but I have to assume it will compare favorably to titans of the genre like DNA² Sim Girls, EVA4 Sim Date RPG, and Ganguro Girl based on its reputation.

not much is known about this eva other than during it's activation test it experienced an AT field collapse and caused a massive explosion. given that the enemy evas from 3.0 and 3.0+1.0 are labeled as Mark.04 and Eva4, it's likely that the research from Eva 04 was used to produce them.

the failed evangelion prototypes are the first attempts by Gehirn to create an evangelion. the first successful evangelion would be unit 00. the rest were kept in Terminal Dogma, and have deteriorated to the point where all that is left are the helmets, skulls, and spinal cords.

We Meet Again || Eva & Cyrus

It was better not to think about it. Last time he had seen Eva was... one or two weeks ago, and it hadn’t been the best time for them. He wasn’t even sure if there still was a them. He hadn’t put his feelings down, never thought about it completely. He had put it in the back of his mind, ignored how broken he felt. But even through ignoring, whenever he was reminded of what could’ve been, what started of fantastic but was ruined by one dumb mistake he had made, he couldn’t help but feel desperate to turn back time. He had his heart broken multiple times, but he had been young, he had been a kid. He was older now, grown up as they would call it. If things ended, then they ended. There was no part of him that should question it. And he hadn’t been with her for more than a week, maybe two. 

He wasn’t sure how much it had meant to her, but Beatrix was obviously upset with him, she hadn’t allowed him into the house to explain. She had send him away, and he had walked lost through the city. In Iron it was different, he didn’t have to think about the house, he could rest easy with the idea that as long as Sam wanted him here, he would remain here. Even if fear for his dear life was still present. 

This was Iron after all, he had been born here, he had grown up here, he could walk into anyone he knew from his past any second and worry about whether his life was going to end right away or if they would torture him to death first. Nice thoughts. He walked into the Bar’s Baron, one of the biggest and fanciest bars in the city. Everything looked dark, with a tint of red. People were drinking, kissing each other, and generally making conversation. Cyrus was wearing clothing that made him seem like he came here every day, and ordered just a water. He wasn’t about to take to drinking, especially not here. He placed himself at a table in the back, trying to study his surroundings instead of giving up to his mind. 

That’s when he saw her. At first he thought it was a dream, she couldn’t be in Iron, why would she? Then he remembered what Hammer had said about taking the necklace to sell it to the City, and figured it was her. He stared longingly, but looking at her was painful as well. He thought of what could’ve been, he thought of how he had made a mistake, and of how she hadn’t even given him a chance to explain himself. And he felt both sad and angry at the same time, but he couldn’t take his eyes off of her.
