racing gone wrong (y.j)
Tumblr media
it's innie's turn being a street racer! i really liked the idea i had for him, and i hope i executed it to everyone's liking 💓 much love 💓
feedback is greatly appreciated 🥰
You tuck one of your legs under the other, perking up at the sound of your roommates footsteps. Jeongin walks out of his bedroom door while combing his fingers through his hair.
"You showered?" You ask him with furrowed brows.
Jeongin laughs at your obvious question, nodding his head in response. "Yeah, I told you I was showering," he reminds you with a click of his tongue.
"But, you're wearing clothes to go out, not your pajamas," you point out.
Your roommate nods his head again, grabbing a pair of shoes from the closet. "That's because I'm going out, cutie," he mentions while walking across the living room.
He pats your head as he walks by, and you keep your eyes on him. He's going out? This late? You think to yourself with a frown on your lips.
"It's almost nine-thirty though," you mumble loud enough for him to hear. "It's really late for you to be going out, especially by yourself."
Jeongin pokes his head into the living area, meeting your eyes. "I'll be okay, cutie. I'm going out with a couple of friends. No need to fret," he reassures you.
You stand up from your spot on the couch, heading towards the front door. "You're not going to be out for long, are you?" You question him.
He ties his shoes when you reach the door, and he glances up at you. "A couple of hours at least," Jeongin answers truthfully, noticing the worried look on your face.
"I'm sorry for sounding like a debbie downer. I just care about your health and well-being," you apologize, crossing your arms over your chest. "Just come home safely, okay?"
"Of course, cutie," he sighs while standing up fully.
Jeongin takes a couple of steps towards you, bringing you into a hug. You wrap your arms around his neck, nuzzling your head into his shoulder. He squeezes you gently while chuckling, one of his hands stroking your back.
"I gotta go," he whispers in your ear.
You pull away from him, dropping your arms to your sides. You watch as he opens the front door before walking out of the apartment. He waves at you, and you return it as he shuts the door. You take a step forward, locking it for your safety.
As you're walking to your bedroom, you can't help but think where he goes. It's not the first time he's left the apartment this late. It's been happening more frequently these past couple of weeks.
You know that you have no right to worry about what Jeongin does. But, you've had the biggest crush on him since he moved in almost two years ago. So, you can't help but feel worried.
You comb your fingers through your hair, beginning to pace in your bedroom. You're debating on whether or not you should follow him. It's definitely an invasion of privacy, but you just want to make sure he's okay.
Fuck it. You grab a hoodie from your closet, quickly throwing it over your head. You rush over to the hall closet, grabbing your sneakers and slipping them on your feet. You grab your house keys and run out the door, locking it behind you.
Once you leave your apartment building, you can hear a group of voices coming from your right. You slowly walk towards the noise, doing your best to listen intently.
"What'd you tell Y/N?" Someone asks, and your head perks up at the sound of your name.
"That I'm going out with some friends," Jeongin answers the other person. "I didn't lie to her, but I didn't fully tell her the truth either."
You furrow your brows while resting your hands against the concrete building. You peek around the corner, seeing your roommate standing in between two others.
"Is she going to be upset if she finds out?" A different guy asks.
"I'm not sure. I wouldn't think so. As long as I'm safe, I think she wouldn't be upset," your roommate tells them. Your heart flutters in your chest as you listen. "Anyway, we need to get going, or else we're gonna be late."
You can hear the two men pat Jeongin's back, or that's what it sounds like. "Of course. Where is it again?" The first guy you heard speaks, and you focus your hearing.
"It's by that corporate building, remember?" Jeongin laughs, opening the door to his vehicle. "The convenience store that has the really good ramen is right by it too."
I know that place! You think to yourself, deciding to get a head start there. You shove your hands into your pocket while heading towards the nearest train station. "It's only twenty minutes from here," you say to yourself.
After riding the train in complete silence, your leg bouncing during the entire trip, you get off at the stop near the convenience store. You walk down the empty streets, looking around for any sign of what's going to happen.
You turn the corner, seeing the store in question. Your eyes glance towards the parking lot beside it, and they widen at the row of sports cars. "He does not…" you trail off your thoughts, quickening your steps.
Jeongin and his two friends have already arrived as you can see the three of them hanging out together. You blend in with the crowd of people, hearing gossip about tonight's lineup of racers.
"He races too," you mutter to yourself after hearing someone mention Jeongin.
A part of you is in absolute shock. You never expected your sweet, innocent roommate to be a street racer. You fiddle with the hood on top of your head as you continue walking through the crowd.
You notice someone standing on top of their car with a megaphone in their hands. "Ladies and gentlemen, if I can have your attention for a couple of seconds," they say into the device.
The people around you stop talking and turn to face the person. You glance towards your roommate and his friends, noticing their attention on them as well.
"We're going to be starting the race in five minutes. I'm going to announce who'll have the luxury of competing tonight," they mention before looking down at the paper in their hands. "The lineup is Haneul, Byung-ho, Do-yun, Jeongin, Jisung, and Eun. If you guys could get ready and park at the front, that'd be fabulous. Stay safe, everyone."
Everyone around you claps, and you join in as well, feeling a bit excited to see Jeongin race. You move through the sea of people once again, apologizing to those you bump into accidentally.
You press your lips together as you watch your roommate drive his black vehicle to the start line. "Wow," you mumble to yourself, taking note of how hot he looks. You admire his side profile, watching him pull his phone out.
Your phone vibrates after you watch Jeongin put his phone away. You tear your gaze from him and grab your phone from inside your hoodie pocket.
Make sure to get to bed at a decent time! I know you like to binge when I'm not home 🤣
You roll your eyes playfully, a chuckle leaving your lips. You type a message back to him before hitting send.
I don't always binge when you're not home 🫣 Don't call me out! 😭
You shove your phone back into your pocket, looking back up at Jeongin. He checks his phone again, smiling widely at your text. Your heart flutters in your chest at the sight of him, not knowing that he looks at your texts with such a fond smile.
Your phone vibrates once again as a woman holding two green flags walks out in front of the six vehicles. You decide to check your phone afterward, wanting to see the beginning of the race.
Everyone in the lineup starts up their vehicle, revving the engines loudly. People around you cheer for them, the sudden screams making you jump. You lean forward and watch the woman raise the flags. You clasp your hands together, and she quickly lowers them, signaling that the driver's may start.
Tires screech, and you quickly cover your ears, keeping an eye on Jeongin's vehicle. You bounce in place as he speeds off into first, keeping yourself from cheering too loudly.
Once the cars are out of sight, you grab your phone from your pocket. You swipe down and read the text Jeongin sent. A smile stretches on your lips, and you hide your face into the hood of your sweatshirt.
But you still do it! Get some rest, cutie 💓 Tomorrow let's get lunch, okay?
You bite your lip gently and agree to get lunch. You look at the time, wondering if you should get home before the race even ends. You start heading back to the train station, deciding to go home.
Just as you reach the stairs to the station, a couple of cars zoom past. A squeak comes from your lips when you see Jeongin's car in first place.
"Great job, Innie," you say to yourself before ascending the stairs.
-
It's been a few weeks since you discovered Jeongin's secret. He still hasn't mentioned anything about what he does late at night to you, but you understand why he doesn't.
You've read some stories from a community post, knowing that street racing can be dangerous. You've continued secretly watching his races from within the crowd.
Which is where you are currently. You sit down on the bench with a couple of others. You've chatted with a few since you've been coming. It kills time while you sit around and wait for the racers to come back.
"Who are you rooting for?" One of the women asks you, smiling.
"Jeongin," you answer with no hesitation. The dark-haired woman gives you a smirk, and you roll your eyes. "I don't even want to hear it."
She gasps playfully, raising her hands up. "I have no idea what you mean! It just seems like you only root for him," she wiggles her brows, nudging your arm.
"Do you root for more than one racer?" You ask out of curiosity.
"Yeah, of course! Most of us have a top five," she explains to you.
You nod your head in understanding, gripping the edges of the bench. "To be honest, I've got a crush on Jeongin, which is why I only root for him," you tell her with flushed cheeks.
The girl beside you squeals before shaking your arm. "No fucking way! That's so cute. Have you spoken to him?" She asks excitedly, whipping her head around to look for him.
"No, no, no," you panic, urging her to calm down. "That's okay. I don't - "
The crowd around you gasps, causing you to whip your head around. You stand on your feet as you notice smoke coming from the end of the street. People start running in that direction, and you find yourself doing the same.
Your heart pounds in your chest as you see Jeongin's car flipped over. Oh no. You curse to yourself and sprint towards the smoking vehicle.
"Jeongin?!" You call out his name, kneeling on the ground. You crawl closer, noticing that his seatbelt is half off. The left side of his body is leaning forward, and you notice a streak of blood running down his face.
"Hey, we called an ambulance," the girl you were talking to earlier states.
You thank her kindly as you do your best to carefully pull him out. It doesn't take long for the rescue to get here, and one of the paramedics orders you to step back.
You do as they say, taking a couple of steps back. You pace in your spot while chewing on your nails, hoping that he'll be okay. When the paramedics finally pulled Jeongin out, you could see that he was unconscious.
"Do you see his phone?" One of the guys asks, searching your roommates clothes.
"I-I know him," you speak up, taking a step forward. The two medics look at you, and you continue explaining, "I'm his roommate."
The older medic nods his head, motioning to his coworker to help him. They put Jeongin on a stretcher, making sure he's secure before wheeling him into the ambulance.
"Would you like a ride?" One of the medics asks you, and you nod your head instantly.
You climb into the back, sitting down beside Jeongin. You resist the urge to reach for his hand, and you place your head in your hands.
The ride to the hospital doesn't take long, twenty minutes max. You sit in the waiting room for what feels like hours. Your legs are shaking constantly as your eyes glance towards the double doors.
"Y/N?" Someone calls out your name, snapping you from your daze.
"Yes," you say while springing up from your chair.
A doctor and a nurse walk over to you, both giving you a smile. "Good news is that Jeongin will be fine. He's got a minor concussion, a couple of bruised ribs, and some scratches from the debris," he explains to you.
You let out a sigh of relief, placing a hand over your heart. "Thank goodness. Can I see him?" You ask the two of them.
"Of course. She'll show you the way, okay?" The doctor motions to the nurse beside him.
You thank him again before following the older woman. Jeongin's room isn't far from the waiting room. She opens the door for you, allowing you to walk in.
"Thank you," you politely tell her, walking into his room after.
Jeongin's eyes meet yours instantly, a smile coming to his lips. "Hey," he greets you quietly.
You shut the door to the room and make your way to the side of his bed. "Hey, Innie, how are you feeling?" You ask him, grabbing his large hand.
"Other than my ribs being bruised, I'm okay," he mentions with a slight wince, his free hand covering his torso. "I'm sorry for making you worry."
You grab the plastic chair beside you, sitting down on it. "It's okay," you smile at him, squeezing his hand gently. "Maybe we should both spill our secrets."
Jeongin looks at you with a confused look, not knowing what you mean. "Secrets? I don't have any secrets," he laughs a bit, his thumb stroking your hand.
"I know about you street racing," you whisper loud enough for him to hear. His eyes widen, and he attempts to sit up. You gently place a hand on his chest, stopping him from getting up. "It's okay. I'm not mad that you didn't tell me."
"How'd you find out?" He asks you.
You drop your gaze to the floor. "I followed you one night," you start off, lifting your gaze again. "And, ever since then, I've attended every race you went to."
"Wait, really? All of them?"
"Yeah, I'm sorry. I should've told you, but I thought you'd get upset with me," you ramble nervously.
"It's okay," he says, tugging your conjoined hands towards him. "I'm not upset. I'm just glad everything's open."
"There's one more thing," you mention, taking a deep breath. "I have a crush on you."
Jeongin smiles lovingly at you, his hand squeezing yours again. "I have a crush on you, too," he confesses, tilting his head a bit. "I have for a while."
A chuckle leaves your lips as a weight gets lifted off of your chest. "You like me," you state, scooting closer to him.
He slowly lifts himself up, and you go to stop him when he presses his lips against yours. Your breath hitches in your throat as Jeongin breaks away from the unexpected kiss.
"I like you a lot," he whispers before kissing you again. "Will you still get lunch with me?"
"Of course," you laugh, grinning ear to ear. "How dare I deny my boyfriend food."
Jeongin grins and kisses the back of your hand. "How did I get so lucky with you?" He asks, stroking the spot he kissed.
You shake your head, dipping your head to hide your embarrassment. "It's me who got lucky, Innie."

“Who do you think got married to Nanami-san?”
It was that time of the year again - where sorcerers gathered at the grand hall located at Jujutsu Tech; everyone mingling between one another in hopes of rubbing shoulders while also getting the latest scoop of Curse and Curse Users activities alike. Rumours flew about as usual - who would get married next, who was the sorcerer who blew up the other side of Kyoto two weeks ago, and which poor soul was being harassed by Gojo Satoru. However this time around, there was whispers of something more exciting; some say scandalous, even.
“I don’t know...but whoever that person is, they must have a few screws loose,” One of the men seated at the corner of the ballroom admitted to his companion, both of them sharing a laugh before they returned to their attention to the crowded ballroom before them. Or more so, to a specific blonde sorcerer who was nursing a glass of whiskey at the other end of the ball room.
Nanami leaned his elbow on the edge of the standing table beside him, ignoring the whining Gojo that was nested on his side as his dark brown eyes glanced around the room without a specific target in mind. Like any other day he was dressed in a suit; creaseless and almost too perfect for how much movement his job requires. The only thing that truly stands out on his day-to-day outfit would be the silver wedding band that rests on his ring finger; silver polished so well that it shone even at his slightly of movements.
When Nanami’s marriage had been revealed to the jujutsu world (courtesies of Gojo), it sent shockwaves throughout. Not only are weddings huge social events, where you invite everyone you can think of to increase your contact building, it’s also shocking that Nanami even chose to get married while still being an active sorcerer. Of course, Nanami had chosen an intimate and private service, which had angered many of the older generations; since they felt almost entitled to go to every wedding that happens in their world.
But Nanami had never really cared of what others’ opinions; hence his calmness from the moment he entered the hall filled with people whispering and staring at him expectantly.
“Do you think he married someone in our world?,” One of the men started up once more, both of them turning back to face one another so they weren’t caught staring. “Probably not. You know Nanami-san’s stance on our profession,” One of them commented with a soft chuckle, the other agreeing with an amused smile of their own just as a hush went across the hall.
Curious yet eager eyes now turned towards the main entrance, where a family of high prestige was making their way into the hall. Your parents were quite well-known in the jujutsu world; your mother was a well known sorcerer for specialising in curtains, whilst your father is known as a master craftsmen in Cursed Tools. In between your parents stood you; the only child of your family line who inherited a clan technique and a powerful sorcerer in your own right.
Everyone’s eyes were immediately drawn towards your person; eagerly drinking up the simple but expensive kimono that adorn your figure beautifully. You looked like a fairy, from your delicate smile to how you seem to glide down the walkway with ease. Yet your eyes seemed to be searching for someone in the crowd, not really caring for the grand procession that was held in your family’s honour. Your eyes suddenly lit up when you spotted the person, and without hesitation you waved goodbye to your smiling parents before you made a beeline towards them.
And there was definitely more than one shocked face in the room when you immediately made your way to Nanami Kento.
That wouldn’t even be the most shocking part - that would definitely be Nanami smiling at you with the most softest look on his usually emotionless face as you happily wrapped your arms around one of his. You greeted a grinning Gojo with a smile and wave whilst your parents waved the others’ attention off from them; greeting the people they needed before they made their way to your side to greet Nanami as well. “W-Wait...do you think-”
“I don’t think so,” One of the men commented, giving the other a look of shock at the very thought that you, out of everyone, was his spouse. It is no surprise to anyone at all that Nanami keeps his private life secret; always saying that he does not enjoy mixing his work and private life together. But seeing the way you, a highly revered sorcerer, clinging onto Nanami’s arm whilst your parents caught up with the blonde male made him question everything he was saying moments before. “Surely, it’s a misunderstanding...”
Whilst the two men were staring at the couple with clear looks of shock, you were happily holding onto your husband’s arm while your father and him caught up briefly; discussing on some updates in your clan. A clan that he will soon be joining and helping run as your right hand man. “I am glad you decided to come,” Your father admitted before he glances over at Gojo with an amused look on his face, the white haired man having excused himself after playfully kissing the back of your hand to give your family some privacy. “Or should I be thanking Gojo-san for dragging you out..”
“It was actually because I lost a bet with Y/N,” Nanami admitted with a tired sigh, giving you a loving glance at your laugh as you gently slapped at his chest; to which he just chuckles softly at your reaction. “You make it sound like I am bullying you,” You commented with a shake of your head whilst he made a slight face, nodding along with your statement. It seems that he had taken the phrase ‘happy wife, happy life’ quite literarily. “Nonsense, my love. I would never accuse you for such a crime.”
Your mother giggles quietly behind the sleeve of her kimono, always enjoying the subtle and straightforward jabs from Nanami. Who just gave you a far too perfect smile as he reaches over to rest a warm hand on yours, even giving it a reassuring squeeze when you gave him an unamused glance. “Nanami Kento, you are so mean to me. Yet if I were to tell anyone of your ways, people will think I am the insane one,” You can’t help but grumble as you rest your cheek against his arm, ignoring your husband’s soft chuckle.
Whilst he was quietly apologising to your pouting self, your parents can’t help but share a happy loo in silence, happy that you two had found one another to spend the rest of your lives together. When you had first brought the blonde man home as a boyfriend, they were hesitant. They’ve both heard of Nanami Kento; rumours of his power during the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons had spread quite quickly amongst the ranks.
But with those rumours also brought whispers of the man himself, of how he seems so cold and closed off even to his closest of companions. Even Gojo Satoru, a man known for his charms and talkative personality, admits that it was hard to keep Nanami’s interest for long. Your mother was especially worried when you had revealed to them that you and Nanami have been talking for some months now, and he had invited them to a restaurant to meet for the first time. As much as she trusts your judgement when it comes to choosing your lover, the idea of you being with such a cold man made her heart worry.
However they had never expected this ‘cold and aloof’ man to act so warm and soft around you. The harsh and cold eyes seem to melt and soften whenever he is beside you; his monotone and constantly annoyed tone becoming warmer and loving whenever he addresses you. And even though he keeps it quite subtle, he does small things like playing with your fingers between his, resting a hand on the small of your back when you get agitated, or quietly praising you for doing or saying things that he knows took quite a lot of courage that eases the worry in their hearts.
At the end there was no reason for them to say no - they were fully convinced that he is the perfect husband. And they were not wrong.
As your parents shared a conversation with you quietly, Nanami took this brief moment to glance around the room. The once warm and loving look he had on seeming to be a trick of the eye to those who have been watching the family converse with one another; as Nanami was giving everyone his infamous cold and annoyed stare. Paired with a held back, but clearly annoyed scowl tugging at the corner of his lips.
From the outside in, no one will be able to fully understand just what was it that made you seem so interested in the stoic man. Yet they will never get to know him the way you do, see the sides of him that he has never shown anyone but you. And whilst to others you were called a fool for loving a man like Nanami Kento, you are willing to take that title with stride.
Because no matter what, you are content just being able to call him yours.

WRONG NAME 1|3 - Seth ROLLINS
Tumblr media
Seth Rollins x Reader
Guest appearance by Cody Rhodes
Fun (random) fact : I'VE ALWAYS HAD THE BIGGEST CRUSH ON CODY RHODES 🥰
Reader's backstage watching her boyfriend, (Colby Lopez) Seth Rollins' HIAC match against his current rival Cody Rhodes
I winced, along with I'm sure, every one else that sat in the crowd, and maybe the rest of the roster that was watching as crowd favorite, Cody Rhodes slowly removed his jacket.
He had just returned a few months ago, and was set to face off against my boyfriend of almost three years Seth Rollins, yet again.
But unlike the many matches I've watched the two of them face off against, and I do mean the many times, considering that since Cody made his re-debut it was Seth vs. Cody, or Cody vs. Seth.
There was always some sort of interaction between the two men, every week, even in the last few pay per views of the last months, that followed this year's Wrestlemania.
Mostly because of Seth's unwillingness to take his L and admit defeat.
I mean, sure giving up has never been in his vocabulary but, c'mon, it's already Cody two and Seth zero.
But this one...
This was different.
Cody was going into this match already injured.
How is he going to get through this match as banged up as he is, when Seth hasn't even gotten his hands on him yet..?
Seth just may be able to pull out a win, I thought to myself in silence, as I tore my eyes from Cody Rhodes to focus of Seth Freakin' Rollins.
It's not like I doubted that my man couldn't win if Cody was a hundred percent, it's just maybe now that he's not, Seth could get his win, finally.
"He needs this," I mumbled, rolling my eyes, as I watched him parade around the ring that was being surrounded by a twenty feet cell, dressed in his new ring gear that was all too similar to the gear that Cody's dad, Dusty Rhodes wore during his legendary career in this very business. "He really needs this..."
After almost thirty minutes, I stood a short distance from the entrance of the ring, playing with my fingers, as I awaited my boyfriend's return backstage.
He lost.
He really lost.
Again.
Cody basically had one good arm, wasn't even able to give his full strength and still, my boyfriend lost.
This is gonna be a long ass night, I groaned to myself, jumping up seconds later after I heard footsteps getting closer from the other side.
"Baby." I forced out a squeal, ready to throw myself onto him the second he was in my reach.
Knowing how my boyfriend is when he loses, especially to the same person repeatedly, he was gonna need a lot of love and ego stroking.
Except the man who was now in my arms wasn't the man I had anxiously been waiting for.
And I didn't realize that until after my lips were on his.
I pulled back with a groan, running the palm of my hands across my eyes. "Look," I know you're pissed about losing to him again, but you could at least kiss me back."
"I know, and normally I would," I heard a man's deep voice respond, causing me to gasp as I immediately realized it wasn't the voice that belonged to my boyfriend. "I was just caught by surprise." I heard the man add, with a chuckle.
I can't believe I just fucking kissed him
How could I be so stupid?
Who runs up and kisses a man without even realizing its not THEIR MAN?
BETTER YET WHAT MAN JUST LETS A WOMAN RUN UP TO THEM WITHOUT STOPPING HER?
"Why didn't you stop me, Cody?" I questioned, slapping at his shoulder, forgetting just that quick about the scary looking bruise that covered most of that side of his chest, all the while, raising my voice but at the same time, tried my best to make sure the now wondering superstars and backstage workers couldn't hear the conversation I was having with my boyfriend's rival, I especially didn't want the ones that were friends with Colby to hear.
Cody sucked in a sharp breath, glancing down at his injury, then back at me. "First, ouch, Y|N," he mumbled, making me look down in shame for hitting him. "Secondly, I kinda did," Cody continued, before adding, "I didn't kiss back, remember."
"You don't have to mock me..." I huffed, slowly looking back up and him, taking in the beautiful features of his face. "And I'm sorry for hitting you."
"Really?" Cody questioned, his eyes playfully narrow. "Are you really sorry for hitting me?" He questioned. "Or just sorry for hitting my banged up shoulder?"
I shrugged, unable to hold in a giggle. "Sorry that I hit the banged up shoulder." I answered, causing Cody to laugh.
For someone who's I'm sure in a lot of pain, after going through a match like that, being hit with whatever my boyfriend could get his hands on, thrown into steel steps, and a cell, he's in a pretty good mood.
"That's what I thought." He replied, his laughter slowing dying down, right before my boyfriend became visible backstage.
"What's so funny?" I heard Colby say as he took his place right beside me, wasting no time to pull me closer.
"Oh, nothing." I quickly spoke up, shrugging. "I was just apologizing for my embarrassing moment with Cody." I added, turning to face my boyfriend. "It was nothing."
Colby shook his head, looking from me to the man he just finished up a match with, less than five minutes ago. "You were laughing so it must've been something." He responded, forcing a laugh of his own.
But like I said, I knew him, and this annoying laugh of his wasn't out of amusement, and all though they both sound the same.
I knew this one was of jealousy.
The look in his eyes helped give it away.
But what was he jealous for?
He didn't have any reason to be.
If he had saw what happened a few minutes earlier sure he'd have a reason, but he was still out in the ring or taunting some fan in the audience, so clearly he didn't
Ugh, you know how he is, Y|N
And judging by the look Cody's giving, he must've already picked up on what my boyfriend is giving off. "I was just trying to laugh off an embarrassing fan girl moment from your girl." He spoke up, trying to save me from Colby's questions, throwing a wink at me.
"Oh..." My boyfriend replied, nodding his head. "I never knew she was a fan." He said, before adding. "I've never saw her watch anything AEW related. Let alone, mention anyone from there, and she's never even wat-"
"Um, I know Jon." I interrupted, crossing my arms as I fought the urge to roll my eyes at how ridiculous Colby was being.
Colby shrugged, quickly telling me Jon doesn't count because I know Jon from being with Colby.
I shook my head. "No, I didn't just know him from being your friend, I knew of Jon from being a fan of WWE, which just so happens to be where Cody worked before leaving and coming back." I responded, correcting my boyfriend of his ignorance.
I hate when he gets so worked up like this
"Why are you acting like this?" I asked, folding my arms across my chest, not really giving the man in front of me a chance to speak.
Colby huffed, his chest rising and falling from his heavy breathing.
Was it from the match he just had?
Or just him letting his jealous ways get the best of him again?
Probably both
"I don't..." My boyfriend, mumbled, his words trailing off. "Babe, you know me," He began speaking up again, running a hand through his half frizzy, half damp hair. "I'm not a good loser, for one, then after I do, I see my girlfriend," Colby paused for a second, reaching his hand out to grab at mines, "the love of my life being friendly with the guy I just loss to and it just struck a nerve with me I guess."
I sighed, my eyes making contact with Colby's.
Basically searching his.
"You're right," I nodded, agreeing with everything that my boyfriend had just said. "I do know you," I added, before shrugging slightly, a half smile forming on my lips. "And I knew exactly why you're acting the way you are, even before I asked. I just wanted you to admit it out loud so I could tell you how stupid you are acting."
"I am pretty stupid, huh?" Colby asked, with a grin.
"Very stupid." I corrected, grabbing and pulling Colby's face closer to mines. "And you don't have to be, because you are the love of my life too, baby. And no matter how angry you sometimes make me," I paused just long enough to plant a soft kiss on his lips. "Nothing will ever make not love you, Cody. I will always love you."
As I leaned in for another, this time, longer kiss.
"What the hell did you just call me?"
I frowned confused as to why all of a sudden it felt like I was back at square one with Colby.
"What do you mean? I called you Cody." I said as a matter of fact, not realizing that I had did it again.
Oh shit.
Shit.
Shit.
Shit...
"Cod-" I huffed, wanting to slap myself. "Colby, I didn't mean to say his name, I swear. It's just bot-"
Colby shook his head, pointing a finger in my direction. "Drop it." He said, those two words filled with pure anger as they left his lips.
I swallowed hard, biting my lip as I fought back tears.
"It was a mistake, Colby." I half yelled as I slowly followed behind my boyfriend as he started walking away from me, heading in the direction of the locker rooms, I assuming. "Colby and Cody is just so similar, like that's the only reason I got mixed up and I know I shouldn't ha-"
"You're damn right, it shouldn't have happened Y|N." Colby replied, his teeth clenched as he abruptly stopped, making me almost bump into his chest. "You don't mix up your boyfriend's name with someone else." He spoke again, adding. "I've never done that to you."
I nodded, childishly pouting. "That's because you've probably never met someone with a name that sounds so much like mines, and if you have, you've probably never been in the same room with them while you were in the same room as me and so you've never had this problem." I rambled, before quietly adding in almost a whisper. "But if you did, I'd forgive you because I know you love me and you didn't mean it."
"Are you done?" Colby asked, and I simply nodded in response waiting in silence for him to say something.
Anything.
But instead he just stared me down once again before silently turning his back to me and walking away.
I fucked up.
Big time.
"That was quiet the show." I heard from behind me.
I rolled my eyes, fighting the urge to turn to face the man whose name I had mixed up with the name of my boyfriend. "Shouldn't you be getting checked on?" I questioned, trying to make my words as bitchy as possible.
"Yeah," Cody answered, his touch sending shivers down my spine as he let his hand run down my back. "I was actually on my way to the medic while you were talking with your boyfriend but then before I got too far down the hall, I heard you confess your love to me."
"Confess my love? For you?" I scoffed. "I don't love you Cody." I spat out of anger from what just went down between me and Colby.
It's like I wanted to blame Cody.
For what thought?
Having a name that's similar enough to my boyfriend's to where I was dumb enough to get them mixed up?
"That's a shame." I heard Cody sigh, finally removing his hand from off me. "Cause I still love you, Y|N." He resumed speaking, before leaning closer to me, his lips so close to me that if I turned we would practically be kissing one another again. "And when we kissed, it reminded me of the good times. And I'm not afraid to admit it." Cody confessed, before he too, left me in the hallway alone with my thoughts.
This is just a random love triangle (ish) one shot ☺

"Hiiii congratulations on 500 🥳 I would like to make a request for Harry styles please so I was wondering if you’d write just a short little piece about Harry and actress/singer reader where Harry gives her the mini Brit award once he gets home and she asks why and he’s all cute and like “because you inspire me 🥰” and they just have a kinda soft moment and stuff only if you want to thank you for your time and I love all your hslot writing have a lovely day/night 😘" -@glitterry
You and Harry have a beautiful relationship. Its a relationship that everyone on the outs envied. You two are so intertwined in life and it issometimes really hard to be separated from each other.
You had just given birth to your young baby girl a few months prior and time just didnt allow you to go to London with your husband to the Brit awards. he understood though, he especially didnt want you to get on a plane of any sort with your newborn Bub.
Harry really did want you there though. You played a major role in his latest album, having a musical background yourself, you helped him produce a lot of the songs on the album. When he won the award, you face-timed him immediately after he got off of the stage. You had your little bubs wearing a onesie that matched Harrys suit for the evening. He cried while talking to you two. It was overwhelming to be filled with so much love for two people.
When Harry was given a mini brit award to give to someone that he believes deserve it, he immediately knew he wanted to give it to you. He didnt want to just hand it to you, he wanted you to feel special. Arriving back to LA, he rented out a small venue and invited all of his and yours closest friends.
Getting you out the house was pretty hard because you had to leave the baby at home. You were hesitant but your mother was more than happy to watch the baby- she was in on the surprise too so she knew what was going on.
Harry only told you that he was throwing a party for his own brit award but in reality this was the presentation of your award. It felt good to see all of your friends and family, especially since you've been so occupied with your amazing baby.
Harry walked you both towards the front of the venue where a little stage sat. You watched in confusion as he walked up the step of the stage to the microphone waiting for him.
"Hey, can I get everyones attention?" The room went silent at his voice. "So I told everyone here that this celebration was for me and my brit award, but really this celebration is for my wife."
The shock on your face was evident. Harry smiled down at you with the brightest smile.
“‘My wife, my world, my stars, my universe has done more for me than I could ask for. She’s a hard worker and just an overall bright spirit.” Your eyes well with tears, even though you were confused. “I created an album some months ago, Fine Line, as we know. But I can’t take credit for creating it all. Y/N did so much for this album, from producing chords on the guitar, to arranging the orchestral backgrounds, to making some of my lyrics more grammatically correct.
Last week I won a Brit award for my album but my babes couldn’t be with me because she was at home with our little one. But after the brits, I was told that along with my award, I receive a mini Brit award to give to someone that I found inspiring.” He pauses before turning around to the curtain that leads back stage. He returns with your little daughter wearing a cute little outfit and holding a mini version of his Brit award. By now the tears were flowing out of your eyes.
“So, I Harry Styles, present my wife, Y/N Styles, a Brit award for being the mind behind my madness and the most influential woman in my life, besides my mother and sister. I love you so much.” He finishes before signaling for you to come up the stairs. You were sobbing, a hand over your heart while the other hand is being held as you walk up the stairs. Your baby babbles excitedly at the sight of you and you waste no time grabbing her in your arms.
You lean up in your toes to plant a soft kiss in Harry’s lips. He pushed you to the mic with a gentle smile playing on his lips.
“Um, I’m shocked. Really, really shocked. Im honestly so glad to surround myself by such amazing people like you guys and my husband. I thank you Harry for giving me such an amazing award. Thank you so much.” You say quietly. The crowd claps at you, your baby clapping and squealing loving all of the attention on her.
Back at home, you and Harry decompress in bed. Your bubs was in her crib fast asleep and now you and Harry can spend the rest of your time together.
Your cuddled into his arms, head resting on his bare chest.
“Thank you so much for today Harry.”
“Of course baby. You inspire me so much everyday, it was the least I could do.” He kisses the top of your head and you reciprocate by placing one right on his chest where his heart lies.

Potioned (G.W x Fem!Reader)
George tries to strike Y/N with a love potion but she doesn’t seem to be affected.
Warnings: similarities to being drugged (in this case being potioned)(if that’s even a word)
Note: I changed the effect of the potion slightly! Neither of the books or movies mention what amortentia does to someone who’s already in love with the person who gave it to them (oops spoiler). So yeah! Also, I just realised that it’s actually Fred on the left so let’s just close our eyes on that one 😌
Btw, thanks for all the love in my previous works! 🥰 I appreciate all your likes and reblogs. You’re free to send in requests or anything really. <;3
Tumblr media
Students were now pouring out of the Great Hall after dinner, each of them starting to wish their friends goodnight as they all went their separate ways.
Y/N loved having dinner with all her friends gathered in one long table with tons of mouth watering delicacies but tonight, she didn’t have the time to enjoy it. She had been cooped up in her world as she had her quill in one hand, writing an essay due the next day, whilst holding her spoon in the other.
She found it difficult to focus on two activities at once especially she was in a rush. By the end of the dinner service, she had only taken a few spoons of her soup and three bites from her treacle tart.
When she returned to her dormitory, she shoved the parchment and quill into her satchel before letting herself fall on her bed in exhaustion.
Rolling over to the drawer by her bed, she noticed a brown box with a red ribbon around it. Loosening her tie, she sat on the bed and put the box on her lap.
There was a white card attached to it that read:
Mum sent us a few treats in celebration of dad’s birthday. She sent some for you too. —G.W
She opened the box and the scent of pumpkin pasties hit her nose and her stomach grumbled in response. They were arranged neatly in three rows, still warm to the touch. Assuming it was from Ginny, she ate them. One by one, Y/N filled her stomach until she was satisfied.
When she was done, she laid on the bed and put the box — with the last one and a half pasty and crumbs in it— back on the drawer. Not bothering to change into her nightgown, she dozed off to a well deserved slumber.
—————————————————————
On the other hand, George Weasley was pacing back and forth in his dormitory room with his twin sitting by the window.
“We’re dead. No, I’m dead.” He bantered with himself as Fred’s eyes followed his movements.
“It’s gonna be alright.” He tried to calm George who was still walking around the room. The other boys looking at him funny.
“It’s not even dad’s birthday yet. His birthday’s next year!”
George had been crushing on Y/N since their third year. He liked her but he was satisfied in admiring her from afar. His affection for her only grew when she started hanging out with them, being friends with Ginny when their sister came to school.
On their sixth year, he realised that he’d only see her in school and he probably won’t have any chance to see her again after they graduate so, he decided that it was finally time to make a move on her.
She was friendly and easy to get along with so George would crack jokes loudly whenever she was around, hoping for a reaction. Sometimes, he would hear her laugh. His blood would rise up to his cheeks and he won’t stop smiling.
Other times, he tried to get her attention by showing off his skills during quidditch practice. Hitting the bludgers harder than he normally would, flying his broom in an upside down loop, circling the whole pitch but all of his efforts were left in vain as she always had her nose in a book, doing homework or revising notes.
Until a few weeks ago, Fred proposed a crazy scheme to get her to notice him. Maybe he was desperate. At the time, it felt like the only sensible thing left to do. He was so into her that he even doubted if he had ingested a love potion himself.
So for weeks, he and Fred brewed the most powerful love potion there was — Amortentia.
And tonight was the night they had taken the next step of their plan. George had asked one of Y/N’s roommates to put the pasties where she’d see them.
It wasn’t until dinner when she was minutes away from falling into their plan, that George had guilt washing over him like a bucket of ice cold water. He wanted to back out but it was far too late.
And now, he couldn’t get himself to sleep thinking about how wrong it was to put something in her food. Something that could be so dangerous especially when too much had been taken.
Why did I have to put a dozen pumpkin pasties in there anyway? Such an idiot, I am. He thought.
Even if Y/N did show affection towards him tomorrow, even if she turned crazy for him, it wouldn’t feel right at all. George felt sick at the thought.
After a few more minutes of pacing, George laid down on his bed with heavy guilt. He laid awake for hours before he finally let his lids close.
——————
When Y/N got up in the morning, she immediately cleaned herself up and changed into a set of clean uniform.
On the way to breakfast, she bumped into Ginny who was already smiling brightly at her. She greeted her and Y/N greeted back.
They arrived together and they sat at the Gryffindor table, talking about random things. Just then, Ginny’s brothers, arrived and sat on the other side of the table in front of them.
They all greeted Y/N with goodmorning and she did the same. She looked at George who just sat still, not saying a word.
“Goodmorning, George.” She smiled.
The boy didn’t respond, only smiling back at her while Fred was flickering his eyes between the two of them earning a confused look from his sister.
“So Y/N, how’re you feeling?” Fred asked as he bit into a piece of toast, mouth half full. “A fine day to be in love, isn’t it?”
The lot of them gave him weird looks from the sudden question. George choked on his food and Ron immediately tapped his older brother on the back.
“I suppose.” Y/N chuckled, her tone coming off as a question.
“Ah, don’t you just feel the love in the air.” Fred leaned back as he inhaled.
At this point, George was downing his orange juice in big gulps. His other hand hidden under the table was pinching Fred’s side in attempt to shut him up.
Ginny had her brows in a tight knit. “Honestly, what’s going on with you two. I’m telling mum.”
Shrugging, Fred continued to eat while George was glaring at him under his cup.
Y/N suddenly remembered the pasties Ginny had sent her last night. “By the way Ginny, thank your mum for me. Her pasties were delicious I almost finished all of it.”
Ginny looked at her with a confused face. “What pasties?”
George and Fred stiffened. “I think I’m forgetting my… My book! Yeah, my book. Gotta go and get it.” The younger twin rushed out of his seat before Y/N could reply.
“The one you sent for me. The one in the brown box! For your dad’s birthday?” She trailed off, mirroring Ginny’s expression.
“Y/N, dad’s birthday isn’t until next year.” Ron butted in.
“Then who…” Fred was looking around and continuously stuffed his face with toast which Y/N caught onto. “The card said it was from you! With initials G and W. Ginny Weasley, right?”
“I haven’t sent you any cards, let alone pasties.” Ginny scratched her head. “Besides, I’m not the only one with those initials.”
Fred spoke once again, mouth full. “George’s initials are G.W too, you know.”
“Do you have anything to do with this?” Y/N squinted at him.
“Maybe.”
—————————
George was sitting under the quidditch stands, waiting for time to pass by. He never thought he’d ever want classes to start early but today, he did. He didn’t know how to face Y/N after what he’d done to her and so he was already thinking of ways to avoid crossing paths with her.
His thoughts were interrupted as Y/N stepped under the stands, cornering him. She had no emotion on her face, just a slight hint of her her brows scrunching.
“Fred told me.” She crossed her arms as she sat on the grass.
He gulped and looked her in the eyes. She was already staring up at him. “Why? Why’d you do it, George?”
If this were a normal conversation, he’d be tumbling inside for how his name rolled so smoothly off her mouth. But he was taken over with guilt.
“I’m really sorry, Y/N.” He sat beside her, leaving a gap between in respect of her personal bubble.
“There’s no excuse for what I’ve done.” He sighed. “I wasn’t thinking clearly and my desire for you clouded over my judgment and for that, I should be punished.”
She was silent but at least, she hadn’t walked off. He thought.
“Report me. Hit me. Anything. I’d accept the consequences.” He looked at her again. “I’m really sorry.”
It was now Y/N’s turn to look at him. “You didn’t need to do that.” The wind whistled softly and blew strands of her hair to her face as she spoke.
“If only you looked a little longer. Looked a little deeper… you would’ve seen that I too have feelings for you.”
George couldn’t speak. His voice, nowhere to be found.
“I see the way you look at me but you don’t see me looking at you, George.” She sighed.
“I guess that’s why it didn’t work. The potion.” She paused. “Because what I was meant to feel had already been there all along.”
“You like me too?” He croaked. His throat running dry.
She chuckled. “Yes.”
Finding his confidence, he spoke. “Can I kiss you?”
Without a word, Y/N stood on her knees and flung her arms around his neck, pressing their lips together. George’s head tilted upwards at the difference in height and held onto her hips.
He had one hand on the ground slightly behind him for support. He let himself melt into her touch as she caressed his flushed cheeks with her soft palm. Her other hand resting on his shoulder to hold her up, knees turning into jelly.
When they ran out of breath, George was the first to pull away. Y/N rested her forehead on top of George's, still holding his cheeks.
“Now about that punishment.” She smiled, brushing her lips over George’s lightly.
“You better start courting me, Weasley.” She whispered.
“You didn’t have to ask.” George replied as he pulled her into another kiss.
