general appearance: erowan stands at 6'4 while theodore stands at 5'10. erowan definitely takes more from his father height wise than his twin brother who favors their mother more. erowan more broad and muscular while theo is shorter and lanky. theo has his father's eyes while erowan has his mother's.

personality: erowan and theo possess more calm demeanors. theo is softer while erowan is a bit more outspoken when needed.

special talents: both are vurnoki while also eldritch in nature. immortal and damn near invincible. they have a slew of magical and physical talents.

personal headcanon: erowan is the younger of the twins despite his size. theo absolutely acts like an older sibling. often chastising erowan when he does something reckless.

dfsdfsdfsdfsdf no but it's somewhat implied in canon Erin and Rowan would've been at MIT at the same time! They stacked that foil / parallel so carefully and then did so little with it. Do tell how you envision an AU where they know each other because I'd love to hear it. How do we get from them connecting over shared traumas and ghosts to being on opposite sides of the battle? What is it that pulls them apart? Does the story have a different end? I want to suffer in this Chili's today :3

straight up?!? omg the writers are TORMENTING me with those kind of details, we could have gotten such an interesting dynamic between the Ghostbusters and Rowan, my GOD 😭💖 i am almost 100% going to make canonical mistakes as i got into this fandom like two weeks ago but hear me out:

consider Rowan and Erin meeting whilst studying for their PhDs, and Rowan immediately recognising Erin not for her face, but for the way she speaks. in this interpretation, Rowan was actually one of a very small number of people who bought an original copy of 'Ghosts from Our Pasts' from the first printing, and read it ravenously cover-to-cover during his early twenties. i could see Rowan as having absorbed the distinctions of the writing style and picking up on those same quirks in Erin's speech. either way the two soon become fast friends as they divulge to one another the childhoods of torment they spent being able to see ghosts and being bullied relentlessly for it. consider an interaction with Erin admitting to Rowan, "They called me Ghost Girl." Rowan's lip twitches, and he replies, "They called me much worse."

for the first couple of years, they spend a great deal of time together. Erin finds Rowan a relief from the stagnant nature of her field where she is unable to voice any of her real beliefs, and Rowan finds Erin to be the only person with any mental clarity throughout the whole institution. but the fractures would start to appear as they both get to the end of their PhDs. Erin perceives Rowan as becoming more frenetic and unstable - he has never been good with people, but he becomes something of a recluse (even for an academic!), going days without seeing anyone in his department and missing important meetings. one day, Erin decides to give Rowan a wellness check - only to find his quarters stuffed to the brim with papers detailing an insane amount of research, including the preliminary designs for the Barrier Compromising Master Machine.

Rowan is ecstatic, and tells Erin he is at a breakthrough in his research - but in order for it to reach the next stage, he begs Erin to take the leap with him and cross over into the World of the Dead. in essence, Rowan attempts to convince Erin into a suicide pact that would leave them both as ghosts. Erin is horrified and backs away, telling Rowan that he is ill and needs to get some help. this drives Rowan into a breakdown - he can't understand why his only friend wouldn't want to leave this hellish life and finally be somewhere they could be without being 'pestered' for their genius. Erin finally snaps and screams at Rowan for him to let these 'childish ideas' go - that no one is ever going to believe them, and he needs to stop now or he'll never be able to live a life. this is the ultimate severance, and it's what solidifies Erin's resolve to leave all thoughts of ghost-hunting behind. she doesn't want to become like Rowan - or, more specifically (and more selfishly), she doesn't want to be perceived the way Rowan is.

so we end up with this awful betrayal as perceived by both sides. Erin has broken Rowan's heart and convinced him that no human being is worth staying alive for - he is now certain he wants to bring about The Fourth Cataclysm, with no ties left to the living world. and Rowan has become all that Erin is terrified to be - she would rather bury the truth than ever have someone look at her the way she looked at Rowan that night.

god, after that exposition i kind of low-key ship it 😳 consider all of that delicious angsty potential though. can you imagine Rowan's fury at seeing Erin as a Ghostbuster, after she humiliated him and ditched him like he were nothing. can you imagine Erin's horror at finding out that Rowan didn't just quietly go back to his old life and assimilate along with every other academic she's ever known. imagine Erin seeing Rowan kill himself. imagine Erin seeing that Rowan was right about his theory. oh my god it could be so GOOD

Aelin/Celaena - NEVER. DO NOT. Like actually, don’t even look her in the eye. Not unless you want to be burned alive, or beat or skewered by a sword. She will kill you. I’m serious. You will die.

Nehemia - I guess you could go at her. But beware that she has some mean psychological warfare up her sleeve, plus she knows a demon language and how to wield a stick. That hurts. A lot.

Lysandra - Ha Ha Ha. If you thought going after Nehemia was a good idea think again. This bitch can shape shift. Like actually SHAPE SHIFT. And her favorite form, is a snow leopard. A form she has disemboweled demons in.

Rowan - Bad idea. Abort mission. He will kill you. Maybe with his magic. Maybe with a sword. Maybe with his Fae swiftness. Or maybe even a table or chair. Either way, you will end up dead.

Chaol - He would probably be the easiest to fight. But keep in mind he was the captain of the guard. And survived a battle with the demon possessed king of Adarlan.

Dorian - He has raw magic. Need I say more?

Aedion - Cool, go ahead. Get pummeled to your death by General Aedion Ashryver of the Bane who has studied almost every way of fighting.

Manon - She may be beautiful, but she is deadly. Both with her blade, her teeth, her nails and her wyvern. Besides Aelin or her grandmother I don’t think anyone has lived to tell the tale.

Elide - Um I guess. But your an asshole to go after someone who has a limp. As well as an idiot because if she doesn’t kill you, you can bet your ass Manon, Aelin, Aedion and Lorcan will.

Arobynn - PLEASE DO. He deserves any form of pain. But he also may kill you in the process. (Another name for him is Arobynn Hamel, king of the Assassins)

Maeve - KILL THE BITCH. But she might kill you first. Beware.

Errowan - HE NEEDS TO BE DEAD. Just be prepared to die.
