Lincoln mini-golf course looks to add alcohol The Salvation Army of Lincoln held its First Annual Miniature Golf Tournament on Aug. 27, 2011, at Adventure Golf. For the Lincoln Journal Star Adventure Golf plans to pair beer, wine and liquor with putt-putt in southeast Lincoln. The Lincoln City Council on Monday unanimously approved Adventure Golf’s request for a liquor license allowing on-site consumption at the mini-golf course, 5901 S. 56th St. “Our desire for that is not to be a destination for purchasing alcohol,” co-owner Erik Gustafson told the City Council at a public hearing Monday. Lincoln, school officials hope new high school will be boost for Air Park The 36-hole mini-golf course wants to add alcohol to appeal to traditional golfers, but Gustafson said Adventure Golf plans to restrict alcohol consumption to one of its courses to maintain a family-friendly environment. Adventure Golf may implement a drink limit, plans to put wristbands on eligible drinkers and likely will only serve alcohol during weekend evening hours, he said. The City Council’s approval is not the final say but likely will lead to the license’s approval by the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. wait I got this
this is Jon Merrill, he is our new defenceman we got from Detroit who looks like a Letterkenny extra. so far I think he’s alright! he said he grew his hair out because his small daughters like to pull on it, and that is adorable.
this is Erik Gustafson, the other other new defenceman we got from Philadelphia. he exists and I think that’s the most complimentary thing I have heard about his play so far! sorry Erik. good luck out there bud
this has been your trade deadline update! 😁
anyway… i updated my habs primer. the link is to a google slide presentation, because it got too long for a tumblr post alone.
when i made the first one, i had kind of just started getting into the team and now i, uh. pay for a separate subscription for habs news. i’ve reorganized almost everything, updated it to reflect coaching and personnel changes, and fixed a few mistakes. i hope you enjoy it!
#*toddler in the kitchen voice* I’m helping!#habs#i can tell you’re editing the primer bc I couldn’t load it to check if you’d added staal to it lmao

November Forest Walk
By: Christopher Johnson
The road wagged back and forth like the tail of a dog, curling around saltboxes and Cape Cods and three-hundred-year-old colonials with rough-hewn beams and low ceilings. Eventually the road passed the Nobscot Boy Scout reservation, west of Boston, and he turned his ’84 blue Toyota Corolla into the gravel parking lot. Here, at the reservation, Erik Gustafson intended to…

The Biglaw Firm That Keep Losing Partners Is Revamping Their Leadership Structure
Elizabeth Acee
We’ve been talking about LeClairRyan an awful lot in 2019.
And it’s with good reason: the Biglaw firm lost 20 partners to the bustling lateral market in January alone. Plus there are the 42 partners that departed the firm in 2018, and, as Law.com reports, the firm’s revenue has been on the downswing in recent years:
The changes come at a time of continuing lateral departures at LeClairRyan, and amid sustained revenue decreases at the firm in recent years. The firm’s gross revenue fell from $163 million in 2015 to $142 million in 2017, according to Am Law 200 figures, with declines continuing into 2018.
Despite these… challenges, the firm has put on a brave face, claiming they are creating “law firm 2.0” because of a partnership with alternative legal service provider, UnitedLex. Together they’re launching ULX Partners LLC, to provide nonlegal operations for law firms. To further support these changes, the firm has created the leadership role of president, which will share executive duties with the firm CEO.
Yesterday, the firm announced litigation head Elizabeth K. Acee is the firm’s new President, and she’ll be working with Chief Executive Officer C. Erik Gustafson in leading the firm forward:
“Lizz has been an essential partner and leader in helping address the changes being driven by shifts in the legal marketplace, particularly as we move toward a next-generation law firm model,” Gustafson said. “Our Board of Members shared in my enthusiasm in elevating her to the President role. This signals not only the firm’s commitment to that vision, but also confidence in her ability to lead us forward.”
Congratulations to Acee on her new role. Hopefully, this is a harbinger of good things to come for the firm.
