Postmodern Art-Making
When we think of the word postmodern art-making a lot of thoughts come in to mind because it doesn’t only mean one thing but consists of a lot more. Postmodern is the idea of clarifying it’s concepts and add complexity to what is provided already. The concepts being used can also be useful for making art according to Barrett. It can gives you ideas, interpretation of what it’s saying and what it’s actually showing you. For example, escaping  the confines of museums focused on reaching the audience beyond the art galleries and museum and would place her/his work in public venues. Collapsing Boundaries between high and low seek the boundaries that were important to modern world and like many others there is a lot of more that falls on postmodern art making. It is the art movement that contradicts the aspect of others, it can be shown through intermedia, installation art, conceptual art, and multimedia.

Astudillo Helps Twins Sweep Tigers!
Twins 10 Tigers 4 W-Smeltzer (2-2) L-Zimmermann (1-13)
Willians Astudillo has become a legend in Twins territory since he was called up last season. He has quickly became a fan favorite and got a start at third base in a Twins lineup that was fueled by a celebration hangover. Today, the Twins kept on chugging along in the series finale in Detroit. The Twins offense got to work in the third inning. Ronald Torreyes started a rally with a two-out single. He stole second base and Ian Miller hit a run-scoring single to right-center. This put the Twins on the board, but the Tigers would answer. Brandon Dixon led-off the bottom of the third with a triple. Miguel Cabrera hit an RBI groundout to second and the game was tied at one. Willians Astudillo ignited one more rally in the fourth. He led-off with a single and went to second on a wild pitch. Jonathan Schoop hit an RBI single to left to put the Twins back up 2-1. The Tigers would answer in the bottom of the fourth. Travis Demeritte doubled with one out and Willi Castro singled him home. Victor Reyes followed with a run-scoring single of his own and Detroit had a 3-2 advantage. The Twins would come right back in the fifth against Jordan Zimmermann. Ronald Torreyes reached on an infield single by Willi Castro. Ian Miller singled and Willians Astudillo lined a single to left that scored Miller. Jake Cave drove in a pair with a triple to right and the Twins were up 5-3. Later in the inning, Victor Alcantara uncorked a wild pitch and the Twins had a 6-3 lead after five frames. The Tigers inched closer in the sixth. Willi Castro tripled with one out and Victor Reyes knocked him home with a base hit. Detroit was within two, but the Twins would pull away in the seventh. Willians Astudillo led-off with a single to get things started. Two batters later, Jonathan Schoop lined a Jose Cisnero slider out to left for a two-run blast. Minnesota now led by four and weren’t done yet. Jason Castro walked to keep the chain moving. Later in the inning, LaMonte Wade reached on an infield single. A run scored on the play and the Twins had a 9-4 lead. The Twins added one more run in the eighth. Willians Astudillo blasted a Zac Reininger fastball out to left for a solo blast. The Twins lead grew to six and the bullpen did the rest. Fernando Romero had a scoreless eighth and Jorge Alcala had a 1-2-3 ninth. The Twins swept the Tigers and have 99 wins on the season.
-Final Thoughts- Devin Smeltzer had a nice start. He went five innings and allowed three runs on ten hits with four strikeouts. Ryne Harper allowed a run in the sixth, Brusdar Graterol fanned one in the seventh, and Fernando Romero struck out the side in the eighth. Jorge Alcala needed eight pitches for a perfect ninth. Willians Astudillo led the way with four hits on the day. Ian Miller, Jake Cave, and Jonathan Schoop had two hits each. The Twins hangover lineup actually did a great job today. They hit 4-for-11 with runners in scoring position and left seven men on base. After the game, the Twins head to Kansas City for the last regular season series of the year. Jose Berrios will face Eric Skoglund in Game 1.

Twins Beat Royals In Rain Shortened Game!
Twins 6 Royals 2 W-Berrios (14-8) L-Skoglund (0-3)
The Minnesota Twins headed to Kansas City for the final road series of the year with not a lot more to accomplish in the regular season. They have already clinched the division, but wanted to finish with over 100 wins and with the home run record. Tonight, the Twins added to both of those records at Kauffman Stadium. The Twins offense got to work early and often. Miguel Sano started the game off with a single to center. Jake Cave walked and Nelson Cruz singled home a run. The next batter, Eddie Rosario followed with a run-scoring single to right and the Twins led 2-0. The Royals answered in the bottom of the first. Whit Merrifield singled and Hunter Dozier doubled. Alex Gordon hit an RBI groundout to second and the Royals were within a run. The Twins would add to their lead in the second. Jonathan Schoop led-off with a double. With two outs, Miguel Sano smacked an Eric Skoglund fastball out to left for a two-run blast and the Twins had a 4-1 advantage. The Twins continued to add on in the third. CJ Cron singled with one out. Two batters later, Ryan LaMarre belted a Eric Skoglund offering out to left for a two-run homer. The Twins now had a 6-1 lead after three frames. The Royals would inch closer in the fifth. Whit Merrifield led-off with a triple to center. Jorge Soler hit a sac fly to right and the Royals were within four. Meanwhile, Jose Berrios tossed six solid innings then the rain came. We sang the seventh inning stretch, but it poured. The groundscrew put the tarp on the field, but that was it. The game was called and the Twins won their 100th game of the season tonight.
-Final Thoughts- Jose Berrios looked good and bad tonight. He went six innings and allowed two runs on six hits with nine strikeouts and two walks. He reached 200 innings for the first time in his career. Nelson Cruz had three hits to lead the team. Miguel Sano and Ryan LaMarre added two hits each. The Twins hit 2-for-8 with runners in scoring position and left six men on base. It is the second time in Twins history that a team has won at-least 100 games. They have two games remaining that might be played, but rain might get in the way. Tomorrow’s game has been moved up to 1:15 due to a rain threat at night. Cody Stashak will start against Glenn Sparkman tomorrow afternoon.
