Got a splitting headache while working on this in Minecraft.
It's something I saw a YouTuber do once in passing and thought it looked cool so I've tried to recreate it for funsies.
Then I remembered that I hate working with Minecraft's water physics (hilarious because I like building underwater in survival) and it's taken me 3 days to get it mostly done (I still have to do the bottom).
admittedly a lot of the time has been spent just trying to scrape together all the sand/gravel/black dye I've needed for the concrete.

Why Ancient Concrete might be the future!
Concrete is found in almost every structure that is around us, 20 billion tons are used every year, however it also has its drawbacks. It is estimated that 8% of yearly CO2 emissions can be attributed to concrete, this is due to the high temperatures needed to bind all the ingredients together. Modern concrete uses a mainly a mixture of silica sand, limestone, clay, chalk and other ingredients…

What are the environmental impacts of an eco friendly asphalt plant?
Eco-friendly Asphalt Mixing Plant, Environmental-friendly Asphalt Plant,Environment Friendly Asphalt Mix Plant
For the pollution problems from the asphalt mixing plant, we have launched a Full-environmental Asphalt Mixing Plant with the strict environmental protection standards.
Environmental-friendly Asphalt Plant is developed on the basis of LB Series; it retains the advantages of LB Series and attaches great importance on environmental protection and safety. ELB Series asphalt mixing plant is featured by low noise and less pollutant emission, fit for road construction projects in all grades and scales and can be set in urban or near urban area.
From the storage, transportation, heating, mixing and unloading of the asphalt and aggregates, we have achieved environmental protection and effective control. It becomes the pioneer of environmental transformation of asphalt mixing plant because it can be controlled for the producing harmful flue gas, dust and high energy consumption in the production process.

This photo shows the steel reinforcement used at the base of a wind turbine. To complete it, approximately 800 cubic meters of concrete remain to be added, equivalent to a weight of almost 2,000 tons. Once the wind turbine, which has an average lifespan of twenty years, is dismantled, this base will remain buried forever in the ground. No matter what they tell you to fool you, this type of energy is neither clean nor environmentally friendly.

A new technology for road pavement is being introduced to Liberia by Mr. Tae Hyung Lee, the Chief Technical Officer of New Mirae Construction Company Ltd. of South Korea in collaboration with Fasu Masia Mongo Construction Company, a 100% Liberian owned construction company.
The technology is adaptable to both cold and hot climates. It is eco-friendly and poses no environmental hazards to workers and the environment. This technology creates a mixture by adding selected soil materials, cement, water and Soil Improvement Conservation (SIC), an additive that improves the cement’s function.
Low-carbon construction is the cheapest and uses relatively inexpensive soil, and it not only replaces conventional concrete and asphalt, but can also be mixed with construction waste to replace various types of blocks.

Has terry (all eras) ever won any awards in his life
---
You know how celebrities often get awards and you can list like several people off the top of your head who probably deserve the acknowledgment far more and you've no concrete idea what famous person McGee did to deserve this particular accolade other than, you know, being hip, famous and convenient for PR? Or how politicians who make a hobby out of starting wars worldwide regularly get Nobel Peace Prizes and nobody bats an eye?
Well, I figure Terry Silver runs on that exact level of oxymoronic irony too.
I think the man received everything from Environmental Protection awards all while polluting the planet and making an unimaginable profit out of it, various social awareness awards all while generally being a menace to public safety, citizen of the year awards when this man is genuinely a threat to society even if slightly pushed, some sort of Anti-Bullying choice award because I adore the profound comedy in that and Terry himself would too; in fact, I can envision him barely containing a smile or a hard-on while receiving that one. Business awards. Public service awards because Terry is the friendly neighborhood billionaire, didn't you know? Seaborg medal for astounding contributions to biochemical research. A barrage of martial arts related trophies. Some sort of coveted science award connected to Dynatox's noble endeavors in the field of, ehm, engineering breakthrough, new technologies and preserving the ecosystem. The Yeah, feel free to laugh. But, whatever the case, he has awards alright. Notches galore under his belt. He has medals, accolades and acknowledgements aplenty and he collected them over the decades like captured trophies. A great many of them would've been better suited in anyone else's hands but his...which he knows and doesn't care. In fact, it amuses him. He lied, schemed, cheated, scammed and baby, he still got rewarded, praised and applauded for it anyway because the world's his oyster and he gets whatever he wants, when he wants it.
The only awards I don't see him getting en masse are military service awards, admittedly, which is a sore point and has been all his life. Maybe why he gave such a gleefully envious and downright venomous expression when faced with Mr. Miyagi's own medal (or perhaps, it is simply the notion he believes someone like, say, John, deserves it more over an old (insert slur here)). The one endeavor Terry did participate and actively toil in in the form of the Vietnam war without any of it being faked, unearned, bribed for or a media stunt and he doesn't have that many things to show for it. Well, nothing tremendously spectacular anyway. I think he could have something very basic, like his Army Service Ribbon followed by a Silver Star and he never ceased being peeved about it because he might've been convinced his suffering earned him more. Or maybe it was just a matter of ego and pride. Maybe both. Whatever the case, the one thing Terry wanted and coveted, he didn't, in fact, get.

Costa is at a magical water garden that he has wanted to visit for years.
Austral Watergardens in Cowan, NSW, sits on 7 acres with views of the Muogamarra nature reserve.
Kevin and Lisa Metelik have been managing the mountain paradise for decades.
Kevin’s grandfather bought the land, set up the water gardens in the 1940s and inspired his daughter to follow in his footsteps; Kevin got the gardening bug from her.
Lisa met and married Kevin and got the bug as well.
Some of the original concrete ponds still exists, with plenty of new ones too, all filled with a range of different water plants. Visitors can choose plants from these stock plants and take them home for their own pond or bowl.
The water is kept clean by finding the right balance of shade and sun, plus native fish to keep down mosquitoes without affecting the frog populations.
Kevin says there are two main groups of water lily: Hardy or European and tropicals.
Hardy or European are the style seen in Monet paintings, with red, pink, yellow and white flowers that sit at water level. They flower earlier, from October to April, and blooms range from miniature to large.
Tropical waterlilies hold their flowers above the water line and are usually fragrant; colours include blues, white, yellow, and pink, and they bloom from December to June in the Sydney area (all year in tropical climates) but may not survive winters in colder areas.
Hardy waterlilies have rhizomes while the tropical ones have bulbs.
Lotus are different again; they are large plants, are revered as sacred in many cultures. The leaves sit above the water and flowers form distinctive seed heads.
Other less obvious but equally useful plants include the native Snakeskin vallisneria, which grows underwater and improves water quality as well as providing habitat for fish and frogs.
Border plants such as jointed twig-rush can tolerate quite deep water.
Red-stemmed thalia gives a tropical look to a pond and is a favourite with frogs.
How to build your own water garden:
A water feature will bring frogs, dragonflies and beauty to a garden, creating a mini oasis. Here are some basic steps to get you started.
Consider the size and depth of a water bowl as well as the material – a lightweight fiberglass or polymer resin makes a large vessel easier to handle. Ceramic bowls may need to be sealed.
The minimum depth is 30cm for water plants; deeper is better. Lisa tries to create three levels in a pond:
* a submerged aquatic plant
* a shallow-water creeper group to grow on the edges
* a tall marginal plant for height
Add in water lilies for flowers and floating leaves; if you can fit two plants, choose one hardy and one tropical species for a longer flowering display.
Put river sand or gravel on top of the soil mix in the pot to avoid muddying the water.
Aim to cover about half to two-third of the water surface with plants.
Add native, tadpole-friendly fish to keep mosquitoes at bay
Filmed on Dharug Country in Cowan, NSW
Featured plants:
Waterlily ‘Escarboucle’ (Nymphaea cv.)
Waterlily ‘Marliacea albida’ (Nymphaea cv.)
Waterlily ‘Blue Triumph’ (Nymphaea cv.)
Sacred Lotus (Nelumbo nucifera)
Snakeskin vallisneria (Vallisneria nana)
Jointed twig-rush (Machaerina articulata syn. Baumea articulata )
* Red-stemmed thalia (Thalia geniculata)
Water milfoil (Myriophyllum ‘Dragonfly’)
* Taro (Colocasia esculenta cv.)
Waterlily ‘Colorado’ (Nymphaea cv.)
Waterlily ‘Green Smoke’ (Nymphaea cv.)
Firetail gudgeon (Hypseleotris galii)
* Always check species before planting: they may be environmental weeds in your area.

The concept of parallel worlds, also known as alternate universes or multiverse, is a fascinating one that has captured the imagination of scientists, philosophers, and science fiction writers alike.
While this theory with no concrete evidence, it offers exciting and mind blowing possibilities about the nature of reality.
Take a trip across two different parallel universes in this blog post to discover their contrasts and the fascinating idea of "dimension hopping."
World First: Verdantia Envision a planet named Verdantia, rich and colorful, where nature rules supremely. Tall trees may be seen here reaching for the sky, their leaves sparkling in a rainbow of hues. The aroma of flowering flora fills the air, and rivers gleam with pure water. In Verdantia, ecological harmony has superseded technology.
Spirituality and science are combined in Verdantia. Advanced therapeutic methods that respect the body's connection to the Earth are the result of research into holistic therapies and natural cures. As a reflection of the interconnection of life and the beauty of their surroundings, art and music develop.
World War II: Mechatropolis Mechatropolis, on the other hand, is a vast urban area where innovation and technology rule supreme. Neon lights shine behind glass and steel skyscrapers that penetrate the clouds.
Mechatropolis is a center of scientific discovery, where discoveries and advancements power the local economy. The inhabitants, referred to as Mechatropans, have futuristic lives and frequently put convenience over the environment. As drones fly through the air, precisely delivering things, they can escape into imaginative worlds through virtual reality experiences.
But there is a price to this fast-paced life. The ecosystem has suffered greatly, and green areas are now in short supply. Even with today's technological marvels, there is still a sense of alienation among the populace as well as between people and the natural world. Mechatropans tend to find comfort in virtual encounters more than in person ones.
Dimension Hop: An Interplanetary Journey What then occurs if someone from Verdantia finds the gateway to Mechatropolis, or the other way around? Through the idea of "dimension hopping," people can travel between various alternative realities and take in the wonders and difficulties of each one.
Entering Mechatropolis can be intimidating for a Verdantian. The calm beauty of their house stands in stark contrast to the sensory overload caused by the blaring lights and the incessant hum of the equipment. But this trip has taught me some important lessons. They might come upon cutting-edge technology that they can modify to improve their environmentally friendly activities back home.
The Conclusion We see that each of these two parallel universes has advantages and disadvantages when we consider them. Verdantia represents balance with the natural world, whereas Mechatropolis displays the pinnacles of technical sophistication. Shifting dimensions between these realities can promote understanding between people and motivate change.
In the end, investigating parallel universes compels us to evaluate our own reality. What lessons about reverence for environment can we draw from Verdantia? How may the advancements of Mechatropolis be incorporated into a more sustainable future? We might begin to close the gap between nature and technology in our own lives by considering these options.
Come along with me as we investigate these worlds in more detail. What more dimensions do you believe exist, and how may we get around them?

Choosing the Right Sebastian Pavers for Your Project
Selecting the perfect Sebastian Pavers for your outdoor project involves considering various factors to ensure you achieve the best results. Here’s a detailed guide to help you make an informed decision:
1. Purpose and Function
Determine the primary use of the area you’re paving. Different applications require specific considerations for durability, slip resistance, and aesthetic appeal:
Driveways: Choose thicker, more robust pavers that can handle the weight of vehicles and daily traffic.
Patios: Opt for pavers that balance style and durability, suitable for foot traffic and outdoor elements.
Walkways: Select pavers with slip-resistant surfaces to ensure safety.
Pool Decks: Consider pavers with textured surfaces to prevent slipping and heat absorption.
2. Design and Style
Consider the overall look you want to achieve. Sebastian Pavers offer a range of styles, including traditional brick, modern concrete, and rustic stone. Think about how the pavers will complement your home’s architecture and landscaping.
Traditional: Classic brick or cobblestone patterns create a timeless appeal.
Modern: Sleek, clean lines and geometric shapes provide a contemporary look.
Rustic: Natural stone or weathered finishes evoke an earthy, organic feel.
3. Color and Texture
The color and texture of the pavers should harmonize with your existing outdoor elements. Light colors can brighten up smaller areas, while darker hues add depth. Textured pavers enhance visual interest and provide practical benefits, such as improved traction.
4. Budget
Establish a realistic budget for your project. While Sebastian Pavers offer excellent value, costs can vary based on the type, size, and complexity of the design. Include additional expenses such as installation, base materials, and maintenance in your budget.
The Installation Process
Proper installation is crucial for the performance and longevity of your Sebastian Pavers. Here’s a step-by-step overview of the typical installation process:
1. Planning and Design
Site Assessment: Evaluate the area where the pavers will be installed. Consider factors such as drainage, grading, and soil type.
Design Layout: Create a detailed design plan, including the pattern, color scheme, and border options. Professional designers can help you make the best choices based on your preferences and site conditions.
2. Preparation
Excavation: Remove existing surface materials and excavate to the required depth. This ensures a stable base for the pavers.
Base Installation: Lay a compacted base layer of gravel or crushed stone. This provides drainage and stability for the pavers.
Edge Restraints: Install edge restraints to keep the pavers in place and prevent shifting.
3. Paver Installation
Laying Pavers: Begin laying the pavers according to the design plan. Use a string line or laser level to ensure straight rows and proper alignment.
Cutting and Fitting: Cut pavers as needed to fit around edges and corners, ensuring a seamless appearance.
4. Finishing Touches
Joint Sand: Fill the joints between the pavers with sand to lock them in place and prevent weed growth.
Compaction: Use a plate compactor to press the pavers into the base and settle the joint sand.
Sealing: Apply a sealant to protect the pavers from stains, moisture, and UV damage.
Design Ideas for Sebastian Pavers
Sebastian Pavers offer endless design possibilities. Here are some creative ideas to inspire your next outdoor project:

Budget-Friendly Builds: How Container Homes Save You Money
Container homes are changing the housing market by offering an affordable alternative to traditional home construction. These innovative homes, crafted from converted shipping containers, are not only eco-friendly but also significantly less expensive to build and maintain. Let's discuss the reasons why shipping container homes are becoming a popular choice for budget-conscious homebuyers.
Cost Savings Breakdown
Affordable Acquisition: Shipping containers are readily available and less expensive than traditional building materials like wood, concrete, or brick. This initial cost saving is a major advantage for those looking to build their own home without a hefty price tag.
Streamlined Construction: The modular nature of container homes allows for much quicker construction times. Since containers are prefabricated, much of the assembly happens off-site, which reduces on-site labor costs and speeds up the overall process.
Reduced Foundation Requirements: Due to their sturdy design and structure, shipping containers require simpler and less costly foundations compared to traditional homes. This can be a significant cost saver, especially in areas where extensive groundwork is typically necessary.
Sustainability and Efficiency
Container homes are at the forefront of sustainable building practices. Repurposing used shipping containers reduces the demand for new construction materials and minimizes waste. Moreover, these homes are often smaller in scale, promoting a minimalist lifestyle and further decreasing ongoing energy consumption.
Design and Customization
The flexibility in design that container homes offer is a budget-friendly feature that traditional homes often lack. Containers can be stacked and joined in various configurations, allowing for custom layouts at a fraction of the cost of conventional custom-built homes. Brattleboro Portable Storage provides various customization options that adapt to different budgets and design preferences.
Long-Term Savings
Container homes are not only cheaper to build but also less expensive to maintain. Their metal structure is resistant to pests such as termites and less prone to structural issues like rot or mold. Additionally, their compact size makes them more energy-efficient, lowering heating and cooling costs throughout the year.
Choosing a container home is a smart financial decision for those looking to maximize their budget while minimizing their environmental impact. With their low upfront costs, reduced construction and maintenance expenses, and energy efficiency, container homes offer substantial savings over time. For those interested in exploring container home options, Brattleboro Portable Storage is your resource for affordable, innovative housing solutions.
