Help! I'm looking for a fic

Hi! I need help finding a fanfic, I already read it but I want to read it again.

It was Jisbon, I'm pretty sure it was post Jane's 2 years away, so they were working for the FBI. Lisbon was on vacation at a beach, and Jane appears when she's talking with a man. Later they go to another beach and Jane tries to teach Lisbon how to surf. I appreciate your help!

Unfortunately, I haven't read this particular fanfic, so I am afraid I can't be of any real help to you, but perhaps someone who sees this can answer?

Do you guys know this fanfic?

One thing I can suggest is look at this tumblr. They have archived a large collection of mentalist fanfics and you can, for example, look at tags like 'AU' and 'Romance', so you might have higher chances of finding what you're looking for.

As I sit here rewatching S7, I am struck by how much I missed the first time around. During the final season, I was so caught up in the idea of getting Lisbon and Jane together that I totally missed all the little touches, glances and nuances of couple hood the two gave to each other. It was incredibly well-acted by Simon and Robin, and I think did appropriate justice to the wonderful hardship of taking a twelve year flirty friendship to the next level. Of course I wanted Jane to push Lisbon into a dark corner and have his way with her, but on rewatch, I now understand how much more authentic their portrayal was. And, if truth be told, my imaginings of these two together were much hotter than network TV can "put out"! IMHO

After reading an anon's message to Entwife, I decided to look for the Spanish version of the episode, and it contains the scene that was missing from the CBS version and was shown by Bravo in Canada. Episode 7X12 ends with Patrick signing the papers and buying the land after which he dials Lisbon's number and says 'Teresa'. This is the end of the episode. And episode 7x13 starts with scenes from Red Dawn (huh?) when Jane first comes to the CBI and then comes the scene of Jane, Rigsby and Cho at the bar when Rigsby says he and Van Pelt had always thought Jane and Lisbon would get together. Apart from this, there're no differences.You can download the episode here

Happy Birthday, Entwife! So not my normal style but I since it's Entwifes birthday, I had to be quick. I'll have a better present in a few days. (Found an old sketchbook with some of my old work. Decided to play around with anime style.)
