Enoch has finished heart's desire and it's time to make a choice but aaaaa I'm still not 100%. It's either power or adoration for him for sure.
Power.... this old ass man would enjoy being an old ass bat. It's very much the worse path of him just continuing his endless cycle of violence and hedonism but now with even more privilege
Adoration... this is my comedy ending because he's a spy and would really really hate this actually. Secretly he's a bit pleased by it but it really interferes with his preferred level of fame. Though he also owns like. A ridiculous amount of crowns in game.

I named Enoch Cazlor's newspaper "Fears for the Bazaar", and so i imagine he publishes like. A quarterly journal on horrible zee monsters and all the ways they can and will kill you

Watching arcane s1 again to finally get to s2 and being reminded. Silco is such a character type I'm into and have had ocs similar to, he looks just like my beloved oc Kell, who served as inspo for Enoch. I'm crazy about rotten grey men with self-brought problems who refuse to ever die ♡

I need to create enoch's family properly because he has several siblings. And with him suddenly being regent of London, the story is basically "the royal family for 'reasons' hid this heir apparent with this notable noble family".
Which basically means, while Enoch is now Officially Royal, he's been separated from his family entirely! The Masters' ploy works well enough his siblings think he was an adopted outsider when HE'S NOT!!
Enoch never got on with his family— he's a middle child, rebellious and the one to most embrace the Fall and Neath. He ran away as a youth to get engaged to a devil snd trans his gender.
But he has reconciled with his siblings post making his name as a Zee Explorer. And now he's suddenly accepted 100% to be a royal cuckoo. They're like 'oh yes of course you never fit in. You were always an outsider.' But he wasn't . But he can't correct that. Because this was his Heart's Desire, right?

Ocs in parabola thoughts...
Grietje:
She dreams of a kite— an angry, gigantic bird kite. So many of her dreams involve her stuck below it on a grassy hill, watching it weave in the wind. Growing larger. Sometimes it seems like it's about to escape. Sometimes she thinks she should help it. But she can't move, and the kite remains tethered.
Grietje has never seen her reflection, but often feels watched. She's sure she is out there, but thinks her reflection wants nothing to do with her. And she thinks that makes sense.
Enoch:
He dreams of drowning. The Zee is a peaceful, horrible place to drown— water has mercy in the lungs. In parabola, each droplet conspires to tear him apart. Each blade of grass knows what he has done and knows how easy it is to make him bleed. His dreams are of multitudes, tearing and dividing him, the feeling of suffocation at a thousand hungry hands. This is a horrible feeling, but he does not object to it— always, he submits, knowing this is justice.
His reflection is a bit too similar to his waking self. But his reflection is a woman— he is firmly anything but that. Enoch is trans, but part of him had realized his desire to be a Man is less to do with his internal self and more to do with society. That it wasn't his gender he hated but what high society defined womanhood as, that his anger and discomfort has never been about himself and has always been about the system that enforced it.
His reflection knows that it is the system which is broken, but his waking self refuses that. To be a lord, a GentleMan, is a good thing to be. It is better now. To be anything else but comfortable is to risk too much. His reflection knows this, and he does too, but when he wakes, he ignores it.
Mikhail:
...I don't think devils dream, or have reflections. But Mikhail isn't quite a devil. He doesn't go to parabola though. When he sleeps, if he sleeps, he remembers. And she doesn't like that.
Birdie:
As a Surface visitor, they don't visit parabola knowingly at first. But their dreams change. Books without translation. Numbers which do not add up. Always a smallness, and always a wall.
I haven't decided their future yet. But. If they stay in the Neath, they will dream of the family they left behind— Yet every dream the faces are different, the accents are stranger, and every night it is clear the people in that dream-house are not the ones they left behind. But they want them to stay. They keep asking, please— stay.

I made this for Enoch and Mikhail a bit back also
They never got married* (*Mikhail took his soul and ran) but they sure got divorced! After accidentally poisoning Grietje, Enoch called for a truce on trying to kill each other.
#Grietje is the third wheel here. Enoch isn't actually like. Must make Enoch Cazlor more of a weird old man. I think he has to be abnormal about his ship.
His first boat was The Incorrigible Maiden, a luxury zailing ship he used to tour the coast partying hard on (and working for Hell). It sinking and causing his first death really made him go wild, and now his fav hobby is dying at zee.
His second ship, Divinity's Last Dregs, is a zub he is not that protective of (see: thrill seeking zee captain) but also he will spend soooooo much time and money repairing and fetching it rather than buy a new one. You just know he's walking around her on the docks talking to her and stroking the hull....
That boat he loves dying in is the closest thing he has to love in his life

Captain Enoch Cay / Lord E Oliver Newton Cazlor
He mainly, also they/it
A monster hunter who alternates between mindless revelry in London and (frequently) dying at zee. He's selfish and hedonistic but rarely directly cruel. Indirectly? Yes. He plays red. He watches mirrors.
Middle child of a Society family, always felt out of place (heavily because, gender) and never played his part. Ran away to elope with a devil, and lost his soul instead. Fought bloody hard for it back.
Took up life as a zubmariner, came into wealth of his own, and found the Society that snubbed him now wanted him at their tables. Learned all the wrong lessons and got worse.
He wants to live according to his whims, wants, and lifestyle, seeking hedonistic pleasure and bloody risks with the promise of no consequences. Desires little true change. Life is good for him (isn't it? Isn't it?? Isn't it???)

because I want to I HAVE linked my three FL OCs together.
Grietje lives in Mikhail's basement, and Mikhail's the patron funding her writing.
Then there's Enoch Cazlor. Mikhail is their ex who they eloped to be with, only to be left soulless. (I often take a sitcom approach to oc creation). They agreed to not be enemies long ago, but Cazlor can't stand her. She doesn't care, which bothers it further.
Cazlor has been spending time with Grietje recently, I jokingly call it Community Service but haven't nailed why. Cazlor has a sense of reluctant obligation and when possible takes her out each week. The fact Mikhail is her landlord was a surprise (all my best ocs have spawned from what i think is funny)
