"Not really, but it's a drink from the Fernando Alonso, so who can complain?" He closed the blinds, trying to block out the world, away from the prying eyes of fans and journalists. Fernando poured the glass and handed it to her, before taking his own. They sipped at their drinks, and for a while, they sat in comfortable silence, savouring the moment of peace. "Do you mind if I ask you something?" Y/n nodded. "Shoot."

"How did you end up in the world of Formula 1?" Fernando asked, genuinely interested. Y/n smiled, taking a sip of the drink. "It was a bit of a twist of fate, really. I always loved motorsports, and when the opportunity came up to work with a team, I took it. And here I am. I didn't think I'd be working for you, though." His brows furrowed. "How come?" She shrugged. "I always loved watching you growing up, so it just seems a bit surreal, I guess." He groaned. "What?" She chuckled. "You're making me sound old." He replied. "You're not that old."

"I am 43 years old. That's old." She eyed up his lips subtly, her finger tracing the rim of her glass. "I don't think so, but okay." Fernando nodded, his eyes never leaving Y/n's. "You're 25. You have no say in this."

As the night went on, the conversation flowed easily. They talked about their childhoods, their passions, and their dreams. The more they shared, the more they realized how much they had in common. "Sometimes, I wonder what life would be like if I hadn't decided to race." Fernando admitted, a rare moment of vulnerability. Y/n reached out, placing a hand on his. "I think you'd still be the same incredible person, just a little less stressed." Fernando's heart raced at the touch. "Yes, but I wouldn't have met all the people I have. We wouldn't have met." Y/n's breath caught. "You'd live without me." Fernando took a deep breath, his eyes locking with Y/n's. "I don't think I could." Y/n's heart swelled. "Fernando -" Fernando leaned in, his lips hovering dangerously close to hers. Their eyes scanned each other, both wondering if they should move closer or simply walk away and pretend it hadn't happened.

Y/n's eyes fluttered shut as Fernando's lips met theirs in a tender kiss. The world around them faded, leaving just the two of them in that moment. She set her glass to the side, her hand flying up to his face, pulling him in closer. He felt euphoric. She was everything he could have asked for and more. He deepened the kiss, pushing her back until she was laying on the couch. Her hands roamed under his Aston Martin shirt, trailing up his tone back. He loved it,every touch, every sound she made below him, he loved it all. That was, until Y/n came to her senses and pulled away. "Wait, stop!"

Fernando's heart sank as she pulled away. "We can't. I can't. It could ruin your career, and it could cost me my job. I've worked too hard for this job for it to be thrown away over a stupid kiss." His brows furrowed. "A stupid kiss?? Is that what you would call this?" She stood up, straightening her skirt out. "I say it as it is. It was a mistake, and it will remain that way. It has to." Fernando shook his head, his eyes pleading. "Y/n, listen. I like you, I like you a lot. I don't care about the risks. I care about you." Y/n looked at him, unsure. Unsure if he was telling the truth or if he was drunk. "I care about you too, but we have to be realistic. This-" She pointed between them both. "This could destroy everything we've worked for." Fernando took her hands in his, his grip firm but gentle. "I'm willing to do anything for you, Y/n. You're worth everything to me." She sighed, closing the door behind her and leaving the spaniard there, drunk, alone and pondering.

hello!!!!! yes, i will info dump some of the things i come across at work everyday, hopefully it helps!

Quick overview on how air purifiers work: ok so purifiers don't "kill" bacteria/particles which is a lot of the marketing you'll see, air purifiers take in air, filter out particles, and push out clean air back into your home so you don't breathe in the dangerous particles: it's all about airflow (created with a strong motor) and filter type

ONLY trust HEPA and activated carbon filters. every other "technology" out there is not sound, there's no definitive research that proves the effectiveness of any other tech on the market. at best it's ineffective, at worst it's dangerous, i wouldn't trust any of it. some common types of technologies to avoid: ozone generators, ionizers, uv light, when a company has their own "patented tech" that isn't HEPA or carbon

HEPA: this targets airborne particles. dust, pet dander, mold spores, pollen, smoke particles

ACTIVATED CARBON: this targets gasses, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), odors, smoke odors

Try to find a purifier that's going to cover a lot of your home or at least an entire room - they're portable so I suggest moving them around during the day if you can and bringing them into your bedroom at night.

Finding a purifier that covers your home/room: suggested air changes per hour (ACH) is 4.8 - many companies will list 1 ACH for their square foot coverage to make it seem like it can cover a lot, and it's just not true. Companies SHOULD be sharing their clean air delivery rate (CADR) information that is connected to ENERGY STAR and is tested by the regulatory agency so they cannot fudge their numbers, if they don't share this information it's a red flag

Check CADR and square foot coverage at 4.8 ACH for a product HERE

For example: an air purifier that can clean 1,000 sq ft in 60 minutes with 1 ACH, can clean 500 sq ft in 30 minutes with 2 ACH, and 80 sq ft in 12.5 minutes with 4.8 ACH (it's confusing, i know, but it's important to have a purifier(s) strong enough to clean your indoor space)

Air quality sensors built into purifiers are cheap, i don't trust them to accurately portray your indoor air quality readings, also the apps are...awful: the markets been flooded with smart purifiers it's tough to find one that DOESN'T have an app attached to it. there's nothing wrong with a smart purifier, its up to the user, but its that they can up the price with the add-ons that don't help the main goal of your purifier: clean your indoor air and create healthy indoor air quality in your home

Cross ventilation helps, open those windows!!! air out your home!!! but don't open them on high pollen count or bad air quality days or if you're located near high pollution or close to an active wildfire or smoke. you can check US location air quality HERE ALSO, don't run your air purifiers while you have the windows open. they'll try to clean the outside airflow too, rendering it pretty ineffective.

Look for certifications!!! ENERGY STAR, AHAM, CARB, INTERTEK - these are independent safety and performance certifications that companies have to go through a testing process to receive them, it's not just marketing these are regulations and are standard - if a company doesn't share these results or aren't certified MAJOR red flag

Run those purifiers 24/7!!!!! If they're ENERGY STAR certified (they should be, look for the logo!!) it shouldn't affect your energy bill in a significant way

Just because a purifier costs more doesn't mean it performs better!! just focus on the air cleaning ability: the thing a purifier IS MEANT TO DO: and try to forget about the rest

Unfortunately, a good purifier is always going to be a bit of an investment. the mini purifiers out there and the wearable ones just do not do anything, i wish they did, but filters need surface area to be effective, they're too small, and the motor isn't efficient.

With just over 1C in average warming so far, the world already has record heatwaves, a rash of wildfires, turbocharged hurricanes, plunging wildlife losses, a crumbling and increasingly green Antarctica, the looming collapse of the oceans and a faltering ability of forests, plants and soil to absorb carbon.

“We’ve got to get off fossil fuels as quickly as possible,” said Michael Mann, a climate scientist at the University of Pennsylvania. “It’s hard to see that happening in the event of a Trump victory.” Mann added that “a second Trump presidency is game over for meaningful climate action this decade, and stabilizing warming below 1.5C probably becomes impossible”.

That seems less likely under a Trump administration.”

A far more ideological slant on science and expertise is likely to emerge should Trump win office, with Project 2025, the conservative manifesto authored by many former Trump officials, calling for civil servants to be replaced by loyal political operatives.

Mentions of the climate crisis were sidelined or erased during Trump’s last term and a repeat is widely expected. Climate considerations for new government projects will likely be ditched, states will get less help to prepare for and recover from disasters and public weather forecasts will be privatized, Project 2025 has suggested.

China, the world’s leading emitter, has retained a level of cooperation with the Biden administration on climate despite an overall strained relationship with the US, but this faces rupture if Trump wins.

“It’s safe to assume there won’t be any climate engagement between Beijing and Washington,” said Li Shuo, a China climate policy specialist at the Asia Society Policy Institute. “It would be negative for the US and for the world. The US still looms large on the global stage, so I’d expect Trump would sow greater resistance to a climate agenda in China. We will see that commitment to climate start to crumble.”

Wasp is going to be the most ordinary of the three Anti-Warframes. I'm actually kind of surprised how much love the Grineer receive as a faction but that's beside the point. Wasp is acquired by defeating Captain Visak Shuuk at Kaentake.

Wasp fires a massive iron spike from the barrels on his gauntlets at the enemy closest to his crosshairs within a 90 degree 45 meter cone centered on his aiming reticle, dealing 1,000 times 1+X (where X is equal to the enemy's level divided by 10) puncture damage with 100% status chance to the target enemy. Using Nailgun again within a 1 second window of its last use increases its damage by 250 and status chance by 25% stacking up to six times. If the target enemy is within 15 meters the spike will be aimed perfectly at the victim's head (or similarly vulnerable body part) applying relevant damage multipliers.

Ability 2: Solvent Spray, toggled ability, drains 3 energy per second. While active the mechanical pumps and tubes on Wasp's back and arms activate, spraying flammable caustic fluids from his gauntlets in a 10 meter 90 degree cone. The Solvent Spray deals 400 corrosive damage with 100% status chance per second. Holding the ability key for Solvent Spray ignites the fluid, changing its damage to heat. Damage change can be triggered while Solvent Spray is active or inactive. Wasp moves at full speed and can use all movement techniques while Solvent Spray is active, but all weapon attacks, gear items, and abilities other than Nailgun cannot be used.

Ability 3: Flash Weld, 75 energy. A fluctuating pulse of magnetized plasma blooms out from Cain and then retracts, stripping the defenses from all enemies it touches and adding the stolen armor to Wasp as overguard. Flash Weld emits a radial pulse with an initial radius of 5 meters, which follows him as an aura and rapidly expands outward by 15 meters per second over a duration of 2 seconds. Enemies in direct line of sight of Wasp and within range of Flash Weld's aura have 25% of their current shields or total armor stripped. When Flash Weld expires or when the ability key is pressed again while the ability is active the pulse instantly retracts to Wasp granting overguard based on the amount of shields and/or armor stolen from all affected enemies. Flash Weld cannot grant overguard exceeding a value of 10,000.

Ability 4: Attrition, 100 energy. If there's one thing the Grineer know it's their brutally effective military weapons. When Wasp activates Attrition he becomes a force of pure destruction. For the next 8 seconds Wasp gains infinite ammo, 100% heavy attack combo efficiency, and +30% fire rate and attack speed. When Attrition expires Wasp releases an explosion that deals 100 blast damage in a 12 meter radius with 100% status chance. For every enemy killed by Wasp's weapons while Attrition was active this explosion gains an additional 100 damage, 0.5 meters, and 10% status chance.
