(Minor spoiler for Endevour’s fate at the end of the Manga)

I have so many Yuri x Riley thoughts you don’t understand, I never got to expand their story if you will, but it’s essentially a childhood friends, turned academia rivals, turned lovers 

And while Riley does *eventually* learn that Yuri likes her romantically and they do get together, I like to think Riley is still as dumb as a sack of bricks when it comes to the relationship. 

Endevour, Yuri’s grandpa, strikes me as the type of dad who with Fuyumi, would have wanted to meet Tensai before hand (I never posted Yuri’s ref but incase I didn’t mention it, Yuri’s parents are Fuyumi and Tensai, Iida’s brother), and the same extends to Yuri. 

Endevour expected someone…well, less head in the clouds like, but Riley is what Yuri decided she liked. And what’s even more frustrating, is Riley is 100% immune to Endevours threats and resting grump face

I have a scenario in mind where, before Yuri has told her grandpa and grandma about her relationship with Riley, the two families run into each other while picking the girls up from their middle school. And Riley, in all her well meaning stupid brain glory, decides to give Yuri a kiss on the cheek before she goes to see her dads 

Que flames steadily rising on Endevour’s shoulders while Powerloader and Ectoplasm rush to get Riley out of the line of fire, and Riley happily waving goodbye to Yuri who is rapidly trying to calm her grandpa down
