We are a highly trusted freight forwarder China, even assisting with factory inspections, goods inspections, and settlement
Ms. Lin is the encyclopedia of our company. She has led our team to overcome numerous challenges in the freight forwarder China business.
Twenty years ago, our freight forwarder China business was still in the port-to-port era, known as Freight Forwarding 1.0. Then came Freight Forwarding 2.0, which is door-to-door service. We started offering door-to-door services as a freight forwarder China 20 years ago. At the beginning, due to unfamiliarity with agents, foreign ports, and trucking services, we encountered many pitfalls. It was Ms. Lin who led us with her "nail spirit," gradually making our door-to-door business very mature.
Now, Sunny Worldwide Freight Forwarder China has joined the World Cargo Alliance (WCA) and other associations, serving as vice president for 13 freight forwarding associations. We possess strong foreign trade logistics coordination capabilities, which few freight forwarder China companies can achieve. Because the alliance has agents all over the world, it provides a foundation and guarantee for door-to-door services. For instance, last week, we had a shipment to Ecuador. For door-to-door service, we needed a local agent in Ecuador. Using these platforms, I contacted a local agent to handle it. The advantage of this platform is the endorsement; if the agent's service is inadequate or other issues arise, the platform helps us coordinate and resolve problems, even defending our rights, ensuring better service from both parties.
At the end of last year, I assisted a Mexican client with a stationery procurement project in Zhejiang, purchasing 28 container loads of stationery. As a 25-year-old freight forwarder China company, the client trusted us immensely, even asking us to conduct factory and goods inspections on their behalf without visiting the factory themselves. This shows the level of trust they have in us. We arranged logistics transportation for the client and even handled settlements. Ms. Lin was fully involved in this comprehensive agency order, laying a solid foundation for our future comprehensive procurement agency services.
Now, Sunny Worldwide Freight Forwarder China, as a seasoned freight forwarder China company, has extensive resources and the capability to customize sea, air, and rail combined logistics, reducing costs or time. We also help with various miscellaneous tasks without charging extra, greatly facilitating our clients. In case of LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, our staff supervises the loading on-site and sends videos to clients. If there are issues with code confusion, we meticulously redo the labels to simplify counting. While some in the industry do this, they are not as meticulous. Even when clients purchase small items on Taobao, we assist with packing and boxing. We handle many small tasks that others might not consider doing for clients.
A few years ago, we chartered 34 flights to Malaysia. It was our first time chartering flights, and Ms. Lin led the way, from renting the planes and negotiating prices to coordinating all ground operations. She documented every step in brief reports, noting when reservations were made, when loading occurred, takeoff, landing, and more. This served as a guide for our logistics operations on how to track and coordinate each step.
As a freight forwarder China company with 25 years of experience, we care more about our clients' needs than they do. Except for natural disasters, our on-time rate is 99%. If you have international transportation needs, please contact us at [email protected]. We are confident you will be satisfied.

Digital divide and Digital equity
The increasing use of digital technology in various spheres of life has led to the emergence of two key concepts: digital divide and digital equity. These concepts are essential in understanding the impact of digital technology on society and its implications for individuals' ability to participate actively in society. This paper aims to define and frame the concepts of digital divide and digital equity, explain their relationship, and discuss their importance in the world today.
The digital divide refers to the gap between individuals and communities who have access to digital technology and those who do not (Pazurek, 2020). The term "digital divide" emerged in the 1990s when there was a noticeable gap between those who had access to computers and the internet and those who did not. This gap has widened with the increasing use of digital technology, and it now encompasses issues of access, knowledge, and skills. Digital equity, on the other hand, refers to fairness and justice in ensuring that everyone has access to digital technology and the skills to use it effectively (Gonzales, 2018). It seeks to eliminate the gap created by the digital divide by providing equal opportunities for all individuals to access and use digital technology(Brownlee, 2022).
Digital divide and digital equity are two sides of the same coin. Digital equity seeks to address the digital divide by ensuring that everyone has access to digital technology and the skills to use it. However, achieving digital equity requires addressing the root causes of the digital divide, such as socio-economic disparities, geographic location, and lack of digital literacy (Gonzales, 2018). By bridging the digital divide, digital equity ensures that all individuals can participate actively in society and access opportunities that digital technology offers.
Limited access to digital technology, knowledge, or skills places individuals at a significant disadvantage in today's digital world(Rinehart, 2021). For example, in education, students who lack access to digital technology and skills may struggle to keep up with their peers, leading to achievement gaps (Gonzales, 2018). In the job market, individuals who lack digital skills may be unable to compete for jobs that require digital literacy, leading to unemployment and reduced earning potential. The impact of the digital divide also extends to healthcare, as individuals without access to digital technology may miss out on telehealth services and other digital health initiatives.
Digital divide and digital equity are critical issues in today's digital world. Bridging the digital divide and promoting digital equity are crucial to ensure that everyone has equal opportunities to access and use digital technology. This requires addressing the root causes of the digital divide and providing equal access to digital technology, knowledge, and skills. Failure to address the digital divide and promote digital equity will result in a widening gap between those who can participate actively in society and those who cannot.

WordPress is an open source online web development tool that’s written in PHP, and uses MySQL in the backend. Although Wikis don’t have any comprehensive resource management features usually found in the project management tools, they are nevertheless excellent for sharing and exchanging information on a project. Project collaboration is by far the most effective and commonly seen use of wikis. However, one thing that must be factored in here is that there is a certain level of internal monitoring required in case of wikis, especially in case of larger organizations. They can in fact become the digital knowledge base of a company. Wikis can turn out to be an amazing productivity tool if you allow your customers, suppliers and employees to regularly exchange information and knowledge with each other, through them. It’s become so huge that anytime you do a search on Google, it would inevitably run across Wikipedia as well. Wikipedia is the most popular wiki on the Internet today, which has gradually emerged as a massive online encyclopedia. Wikis are nothing but web systems which allow for multiple users to collaborate with each other on the same web-based document. If you work in an environment where there is plenty of scope for collaborative teams, you can make use of wikis to make things smoother and more efficient for yourself, and everyone else. So, you can create a Dropbox folder with relevant data and then invite your family or friends to access the folder for vacation pictures, event planning or whatever you want to do with them together. It can even be used to plan events or share some kind of information with your friends and family. This special Dropbox feature makes it the perfect tool to collaborate with others and work as a team on projects. This Web 2.0 tool not only helps you store all your files in one location, you can share specific files with whoever you want to, or even invite other people to access your Dropbox folder. 269. Sonic Universe #2
The Shadow Saga (Part 2 of 4): Time & Again
Writer: Ian Flynn Pencils: Tracy Yardley! Colors: Jason Jensen
So, do you remember how way back when we got the single-issue incomplete "adaption" of Sonic Adventure 2, I mentioned that the events of the incident would be clarified by Ian Flynn in a later issue? Well, this is the one! Interspersed within the events of the modern story are flashbacks to what happened during Sonic Adventure 2, heavily modified to fit within the comic's world. However, I've elected to tackle the modern half of the story first, and explore Sonic Adventure 2 afterward, mostly because though Ian seems to be trying to draw parallels between the latter story and the former, they don't really… work all that well, nowhere near the level that they did in the first arc of KtE anyway.
The modern story opens with Shadow approaching the Freedom Fighters' camp not far from the Eggdome in the middle of the night, waking Sonic up to invite him along to a little bonus mission.
I mean, while I can understand wanting to invite Sonic on a mission against Eggman, 1. he's already on one, and 2. you'd think Shadow would realize he'd need some sleep before the final battle against his arch-nemesis. What, you can't handle this alone, Shadow? Well, as it turns out he's not actually alone, as Sonic reaches the rendezvous point first (zooming off ahead of Shadow, of course), and finds Rouge waiting for him. Apparently, Eggman's been working on a sneaky plan to turn a telescope in the city into a massive laser capable of wiping the Freedom Fighters' little camp off the map, shield or no… as well as half of the rest of the city. Sonic thinks this is overkill even for someone like Eggman, but as Shadow catches up he explains that GUN doesn't quite think so.
To be fair, Sonic, you haven't been seeing the behind-the-scenes insane ramblings of his that Snively's been subject to recently. They break into the laser control room, and Sonic and Shadow deal with the smaller security lasers while Rouge hacks into the control system, trying to disable the thing. The cannon is already moving into position to fire, and worse still, the console then fries itself, Rouge having accidentally triggered a self-destruct command. Sonic and Shadow try to destroy the cannon directly, but no amount of spindashing or Chaos Spear-ing will pierce its armor, so Rouge suggests going for the bolts holding it in place, hoping it might throw off the shot.
Brilliant job, guys! Shadow, seeing no other choice, removes his inhibitor rings and climbs onto the top of the cannon just as it begins to fire. He uses all of his power to force the shot to misfire outwards instead of straight ahead, wrecking the barrel but saving the Freedom Fighters. This is really the only place where the parallels Ian tries to draw make sense, as then we see a flashback of him using his power a year ago to force the ARK back into orbit, and subsequently falling back into the atmosphere.
Aww, look at 'em! As the sun begins to rise, the three walk back towards the camp, and Sonic asks if they want in on the invasion. Shadow refuses, saying that he believes this is Sonic's fight considering how long he's been fighting against Eggman. As Sonic leaves, Rouge smirks at Shadow, and remarks on how far their relationship has come from before. Shadow, of course, has to defend his ego and insists he merely respects Sonic, to which Rouge teases him even more about how of course he can't admit he's made a friend.
Now, time to take a look at what their relationship used to be like, in the very-condensed Adaption 2.0 of Sonic Adventure 2! Instead of following exactly how it's portrayed in this issue, I'm just going to explain how exactly everything went down starting from the beginning, relying on context clues from this issue and previous ones. In case you've forgotten, during the events of the incident, both Tails and Knuckles were otherwise occupied, Amy was chilling in Mercia with Rob, and basically no one was even aware of where Sonic was at the time, as he was apprehended while sneaking back into Knothole while he was still supposed to be confined there. StH#98 covered what happened leading up to his arrest and subsequent breakout, but naturally, after the GUN truck chase he was rearrested and taken to Prison Island. Meanwhile, of course, Shadow had been released from his pod by Eggman, stolen a Chaos Emerald from Station Square, and presumably explained how the ARK's Eclipse Cannon worked to Eggman. Like in the game, Rouge also showed up at this point to offer her support in procuring more Chaos Emeralds - though as you might remember, at this point in the comic's history the emeralds still hadn't been combined into their distinct seven forms yet, so the Eclipse Cannon only required seven random emeralds to fire. Conspicuously missing is the entire plot point about Rouge stealing the Master Emerald from Knuckles, and the both of them subsequently searching for its shattered remnants all over the world, but if we're being quite honest the entire story still makes perfect sense without Knuckles and the Master Emerald, which I suppose is lucky for Ian trying to make sense out of all of this.
The point at which this issue actually starts recapping prior events begins on Prison Island after Sonic had broken out of prison once again - without the help of Amy or anyone else, mind you, since once again, they were all elsewhere at time. Really, this version of events is so stripped-down precisely because half of the game cast is missing, which is why the events of the game were able to fit into a single day despite several days passing in the game itself. Sonic and Shadow had their famous "faker" exchange in the forest and began fighting each other, with Rouge's voice coming over Shadow's communicator and informing them she'd found the remaining six Chaos Emeralds they'd need. At that point, Eggman reminded Shadow the whole island was about to blow, and at the same time Rouge called for help as she'd found herself stuck inside the vault. When Sonic heard Eggman tell Shadow to leave her and that they'd come back later to "dig the emeralds out of the ashes," he was outraged and offered Shadow a truce so they could rescue Rouge together. Shadow accepted, and they raced back to the facility as the timer counted down, with Shadow Chaos Control-ing them off the island and into the desert just before the place exploded.
See, while I understand where Ian is going with this, I really don't like his rewrite of Shadow's motivations here. For those not familiar, in the game, Shadow makes the decision to go back for Rouge entirely on his own, because the thought of her dying alone in the facility made him flash back to Maria's death. Later on, when she tries to talk to him about how he saved her, he avoids her questions, giving a similar excuse to this one, but with it being pretty obvious that that's not the case, as he hasn't stopped thinking about Maria since the mission. Here, Ian makes it seem like Shadow actually didn't care and indeed was only after the Chaos Emeralds, and he only went to the trouble of rescuing her thanks to Sonic's suggestion. However, I understand why this was kind of necessary - with his main allies elsewhere, Sonic needed someone to ally with for the next part of the plot. He ended up teaming up with Rouge, who was quite offended at Shadow's attitude, to break into the pyramid containing Eggman's base, and she piloted the space shuttle within up to the ARK. As I've pointed out before, at no point in the comic is it even slightly hinted that Eggman broke the moon in half as he does in the game - the only indication we have of such an event would be in StH#197, when Sonic recognizes Mobius from orbit by its half-destroyed moon, but in all fairness, the issue doesn't actually state the reason why the moon is broken. Remember, it's canon that Mobius has one hundred moons - that wasn't even retconned! Ian just made up a story behind it and put it in the Complete Sonic Comic Encyclopedia afterwards, but with one hundred whole-ass moons, it's entirely probable that at least one got bodied at some point in the planet's history, and Sonic just happened to recognize that particular one as he was reentering the planet's atmosphere. But anyway, once Sonic and Rouge made it up to the ARK, Sonic and Shadow quickly got into a fight on the catwalks outside the station, presumably while Eggman slotted the emeralds into their positions in the cannon.
*sigh* One of the biggest problems I have with the preboot is its handling of Shadow's entire story. I don't think Shadow ever got an actual chance to shine from his initial appearance until StH#171, when he had his whole "This is who I am" moment after exploring Gerald's digital diary. Everything about him, his entire backstory, was horribly neglected compared to his actually very rich and deep character arc from the games. This, above, is exactly what I'm talking about. In the game, it's implied that Shadow actually wins his final fight against Sonic (though Sonic obviously doesn't die from it), and then once the Eclipse Cannon is up and running, he moves into one of the ARK's observation rooms to quietly reflect on the past and watch the station crash into the planet. He doesn't snap out of it until Amy enters the room and her subsequent words trigger a flashback of Maria's real final wish. Furthermore, he's the only person in the cast who doesn't actually see the video of Gerald's execution or read his final diary entry. In other words, in the game, he comes back to his right mind organically, by remembering what his purpose is, while in the comic he apparently just got to watch a video telling him outright why he's wrong without him actually having to do the thinking that brings him back to reality. Seeing as Shadow is my favorite character in the entire franchise, this brushing-aside of one of the most important moments in his character arc irks me a little. But then again, I will still acknowledge that Ian wasn't really left a lot to work with here, and if anything the fault lies more with Karl Bollers and Kenders carelessly brushing past Sonic Adventure 2 in favor of their ongoing story about Robotropolis getting nuked or whatever.
Anyway, in the end, Shadow and Sonic went to the ARK's internal chamber that housed the Biolizard, and when it fused with the ARK to bring it crashing down to earth anyway, he and Sonic went Super and defeated it out in space, just like in the game. The game actually doesn't give a very clear reason why Shadow fell from orbit while Sonic was fine, but in the comic, it's shown that the act of teleporting the ARK back into orbit exhausted all his energy, resulting in the loss of his Super form early. As one of the above images shows, Sonic actually reached for him but was unable to catch him in time, hence his remark of not wanting to go through that again (even though realistically a fall from a five-story cannon is hardly going to do the same damage to Shadow as a fall from orbit). And that's it! As I said, the comic's adaption is incredibly stripped-down from the events of the game, but with so much of the cast missing, it kind of had to be. While I don't agree with all of Ian's decisions on how to adapt the circumstances while still retaining the basic gist of the story, I understand his ultimate conclusions, and in the end, they do work pretty well given how different the history of the world is in the comics versus the game. And despite Shadow not having a clear history with Rouge in the comics as he does in the games, Ian's finally saw fit to bring them together as a team in this issue, and they remain as such for the rest of the comic, including through the reboot.
But - hey, speaking of which, remember another adaption that was missing a few key plot points? Say… the first Sonic Adventure? Remember how the conclusion of Gamma's entire character arc was totally forgotten about and ignored? That would seem to imply that he's still out there somewhere… I wonder what he's up to nowadays. And for that matter, with the entirety of Sonic Heroes missing from the comics' timeline, where the heck is Omega in all this? Does he even exist? Gee, I wonder if we'll ever get to see these two important robot characters in the comic - like, say, next issue?

Let’s start with this one that I’ve had in mind for weeks but keep putting off because it overwhelms me. I want to write an in-depth analysis supported by the text and possibly a table of contents, but it’s 2020 (at least where I live? who knows at this point) and it’s never going to happen unless I just kind of put it out there and add stuff as I find it or the mood strikes. I was really struck this reread with just how much Sophos and Eugenides are like OTP friends (Sophos giving Gen a backup tantrum sword, anyone?), little Gen and Gen 2.0 meant to be in each-other’s lives, enabling each-other with guns (regretfully) and possibly bonking each-other on the head with wine amphora's to keep each on track as a young king ascended to great power.
Entry 1: one of the first lies Eugenides tells himself without realizing it.
What a lie that was.
First Impressions
Gen says of Sophos: "...but the younger one looked to be completely useless."
But let us consider: "I wanted to look lithe and graceful and perhaps feral as I unwrapped my feet and sat up. Caught by surprise and nearly blind, I was clumsy and would have fallen off the stone bunk if the chain had not still been wrapped around one foot."
OR perhaps
"I saw that Sophos had also placed me in the category of unreliable livestock."
Obviously Gen has reached ‘comfortable with myself and my identity’ earlier than Sophos (in TT and regained in QoA), but I’m going to have to call this one more of a draw than I might have previously. Keeping in mind The Thief is a narrative written to/for the Queen of Eddis, it’s funny to tease out all the little details Gen notices about Sophos and chooses to tell Helen about. I’m actually now wondering if part of her willingness to court Sophos via letters was because of the implicit Sophos-loving-hours recommendation she received from Gen in his narrative. Of course, Gen has a detail-oriented little mind and notices a lot of things about his companions, but a lot of the details we get about Sophos can also double as things that attract Gen to him as a friend, like his kindness, humility, blushing (entertaining), fascination with learning (natural classification and emerging sciences, ancient temples, watch-making), as well as characteristics of a potentially good leader after Gen learns Sophos’s own ‘hidden’ identity.
And a few few traits they have in common and scenes that trace a little of their similar character arcs:
Sophos: "Sophos was just learning the motions, but he showed some talent and coordination. With a good instructor, he'd be a dangerous opponent."
Gen: “...they stood and watched me turn an orderly hunt into a knot of fallen horses and wounded men.”
I like to imagine sword and gun-wielding pirate king Sophos as Gen’s future dueling partner when in town.
Sophos: 'Behold,' said the magus with a sweep of his hand, 'the place where we were supposed to have lunch. Take a quick look, Sophos. It's your first heathen temple.'...Sophos was as fascinated as the magus."
Gen: "I made the reluctant physician bring me the books from my library to check the dating on the pillars outside the maze's entrance. They were unlike anything I could find recorded."
Sophos: "I thought an academic interest was exactly what he objected to. Didn't he threaten to throw you into the river tied to a stack of encyclopedias?"
Gen: "Maybe in the future my aunts and uncles would be willing to overlook the fact that I read too many books and can't ride a horse, sing a song in tune, or carry on a polite conversation - all accomplishments that are suppose to be more highly valued than swordplay but aren't."
And to make it sad, one of the reasons they are both well on their way to being great kings:
Sophos: "'I've known Pol my entire life,' Sophos said unevenly. 'I don't want him to be dead', he insisted, as if his wishes should be granted. 'He has a wife, and he has two children,' he wailed, 'and I am going to have to tell them.'"
Gen: "I shuddered and closed my eyes again. The man I'd killed could have had no clue that he was facing a skilled opponent. He'd judged me by my novice sword and my size. I had taken him by surprise and killed him. I might just as well have stabbed him in the back in an alley. Did he have a wife and two children? Who would tell them that he was dead?"

Casuarius
Northern Cassowary by Viajar, CC BY 2.0
Etymology: Cassowary
First Described By: Brisson, 1760
Classification: Dinosauromorpha, Dinosauriformes, Dracohors, Dinosauria, Saurischia, Eusaurischia, Theropoda, Neotheropoda, Averostra, Tetanurae, Orionides, Avetheropoda, Coelurosauria, Tyrannoraptora, Maniraptoromorpha, Maniraptoriformes, Maniraptora, Pennaraptora, Paraves, Eumaniraptora, Averaptora, Avialae, Euavialae, Avebrevicauda, Pygostaylia, Ornithothoraces, Euornithes, Ornithuromorpha, Ornithurae, Neornithes, Palaeognathae, Notopalaeognathae, Novaeratitae, Casuariiformes, Casuariidae
Referred Species: C. casuarius (Southern Cassowary), C. unappendiculatus (Northern Cassowary), C. bennetti (Dwarf Cassowary), C. lydekkeri (Pygmy Cassowary)
Status: Extinct - Extant, Least Concern
Time and Place: Since 5 million years ago, in the Zanclean of the Pliocene of the Neogene, through today
Today, the Cassowary is primarily known from New Guinea, some isolated nearby islands, and northern Australia. Fossil evidence indicates that the Cassowary had a much greater range in the past, however, which has been indicated below by the overlapping striped lines in Eastern Australia.
Physical Description: Cassowaries are a group of large, flightless birds, distinctive in appearance due to their long shaggy black feathers all over their bodies. They also have crests on their heads for display, called casques, and wattles hanging off of their necks - also for display. Today they range in size from 1 meter to 1.7 meters long; though the major extinct species, the Pygmy Cassowary, may have been as short as 75 centimeters in length, though not enough body fossils have been found of it to determine this exactly. They do have wings, but they are extremely small and essentially invisible among the body plumage. Their crests range from brown and beige to blue in color, and are crescent half-ovals on top of their heads. They have black beaks and tops of their heads, and blue lower heads and necks, with the wattles usually being red in color. Their legs are robust and beige in color, and end in large, sturdy feet with extremely sharp claws. Their bodies in general are very round in appearance.
Pygmy Cassowary by Scott Reid
The babies are distinctly different in color - they are brown and beige striped, to help them hide in the undergrowth from predators. They also do not have fully developed wattles or crests, since those are sexual display features. In fact, baby cassowary are almost indistinguishable from Emu chicks, which points to the close evolutionary relationship of these two birds. As for sexual differences, the species isn’t sexually dimorphic in terms of color appearance, but the females are significantly larger than the males in terms of size.
Diet: Cassowaries primarily feed upon fruit, especially fallen fruit, though they do also eat the occasional fungus, small animal, and egg, as well as leaves.
Dwarf Cassowary by Nick Hobgood, CC BY-SA 3.0
Behavior: Cassowaries are extremely shy birds, dwelling in deep forest habitats and disappearing the moment of human appearance. They primarily feed and live alone, except during the mating season, or when there is enough food in a location to attract a large number of them. They have territories, which do not overlap for males but females do overlap the territories of multiple males, which they move between throughout their life. The males can tolerate each other’s presence, but the females are fiercely territorial with respect to other females. Thus, though Cassowaries are not monogamous, they do mate with a limited number of partners throughout their life. These birds make grunts, hisses, and roaring sounds, as well as booming calls. Piping sounds are made by the smaller species. They do not migrate, but stay near their original range for most of their lives.
Southern Cassowary by Michael Schmid, CC BY 2.0
The Cassowary has a fairly elaborate mating ritual. The female will make loud vibrations, which will cause the male to approach. They’ll run their necks along the ground, showing off their neck wattles and moving their heads back and forth to show off the crest. The female will then make drumming sounds and approach the male slowly, while the male will crouch against the ground. The female then may step on the male’s back, before crouching next to him for mating - or she’ll attack. The latter happens more often than not, and the female will then chase the male around until they reach water. The male then dives into the water and submerges up to his neck, and the female will chase him in the water until they go back on land again, and then the female will crouch on the ground, allowing mating to occur. Males may compete over one female at this point.
Southern Cassowary by Arjan Haverkamp, CC BY 2.0
Breeding begins in May and extends until June. The females lay three to eight large green or teal eggs in a platform of twigs, sticks, leaves, grass, and debre concealed among vines and behind tree roots. The male then incubates the eggs exclusively, usually for a little less than two months. The male will then protect and guard the chicks, who stay associated with the nest for nine months. The fathers are extremely hyper-protective of the young and will defend them violently if necessary. Meanwhile, the female will go on to lay eggs for more males. After nine months, the young go off to form their own territories.
Cassowaries, thus, can be extremely aggressive towards people, especially during the breeding season where they can attack humans getting too close. Usually, though, cassowaries just attack people who offer them food. The bird will attack via kicking, and they are able to kick fairly high up. Still, cassowaries have been tamed in the past, and were partially domesticated by natives to New Guinea prior to the arrival of white people.

Ecosystem: Cassowaries primarily live in humid rainforests, though they do sometimes go out to palm scrub, grasslands, savanna, and swamps. They are important keystone species in the rainforest, distributing seeds across the jungle when they poop - and plants will also have higher germination rates if they have been pooped out by a cassowary. These birds are hunted by dogs, but they are not natural predators of the species. Most population limitation comes from animals feeding on their eggs and young - hence the extreme protectiveness of the fathers.
Other: Though all three species are considered to be of least concern in terms of environmental threats, they are affected by habitat loss, vehicle crashes, and introduced mammal predators. As such, many populations are on the decline.

Species Differences: These species do have overlapping ranges, and thus mainly differ based on appearance. The Southern Cassowary has a huge crest, two wattles, and a more aqua-blue colored neck - and it is also the largest species, sometimes reaching as long as 2 meters in length in some females. The Northern Cassowary is only a little smaller, with one wattle, and it has a deeper blue head and a bright orange neck. Finally, the Dwarf Cassowary is significantly smaller than both of the other species, only reaching up to 1.5 meters long, and it has a deep blue head and no wattles on its neck.

Searching for my digital literacy
I was starting to think about my online representation. I have been on the web since mid 1990s. That indicates some traces of me on the web. And there is, I’ll get back on that. Thinking about online traces, I started Googling. I have worked in the field of ICT and learning for many years. I consider myself quite digital competent, and my digital literacy should be high. Nevertheless, I startet wondering how to be smart Googling, I mean, how to get what you want from Google. You know there are smart ways of getting exact and good answers, but I at least tend to forget the smart ways, and just Google my heart out!
But as I was wondering about my online representation, I started asking Google for smart searches. For instant did Google remind me that I can do site searches by putting “site:” and the site address after your search word. That way you will search for the word, on the site that you choose. This apparently is a good idea since Google is better at searching on a specific site than the search engine at that site. I had to try this of course, and so I found a video of my daughter from 16 years back, from a TV appearance from when she was 4. That was such a treat! It made my day especially since she is now far away in a different country studying and I have not seen her for quite some time.
This little treasure of a film clip stated me wondering how my digital literacy or competance has developed since earyl 2000. I have experimented online with different technology and social media since then. I studied for a masters degree online in 2006-2008, and started blogging, collaborating online and so forth. Looking back I can find quite a few trances from that online. But have I really been out there? Am I what David White would call a resident or am I mere a visitor? (https://youtu.be/sPOG3iThmRI). I’m sure the answer is “both”. In many aspects I am a resident. I have tested and written about Second Life used for teaching and learning purposes. I have used and spoken about web 2.0 tools. I have set up and facilitated blog as a way of learning and sharing with each other in learning networks, and written about the experiment. And I can go on. But all this has been as part of my professional life, and my role there. Of course it is hard to distinguish professional and privat, but I can see that when it comes to my activities as a private person (if there are such a thing), I am more reluctant at sharing my thoughts and knowledge. I have used facebook since 2007 and twitter since 2008, but I don’t share that much. I have Instagram, but mostly as a way of 1) saving good ideas from others, and 2) following friends. I use Snapchat, but that is mostly instant communication and silly updates to and from kids and friends. I use messenger for the same purpose, and for group updates and chats. So in my personal life, I am more a consumer than a producer of digital media? Or am I? I don’t do much of “remixing”, something that Doug Belshaw referes to as “being in the heart of digital literacy” (Belshaw, TEDxWarwick March 22, 2012). I mean, I could remix more, I know how. I just don’t do much of it. Unless it is for work that is.
Does that mean I am not digital literate? Am I only a visitor? Do I have to remix to be literate? There are some varieties to the definition of digital literacy. Or maybe it is more accurate to say that it evolves? I think maybe the focus on “remix” is such an evolvement. Digital literacy have often been referred to as finding, evaluating, creating and communicating digital content, for instant Medlock, Spires and Kerkhoff who defines digital literacy and practices as “Digital literacy practices involve the ability to locate and consume, create, and communicate digital content, while simultaneously employing a process of critical evaluation”.
Creating digital content is for instant what I am doing now, writing a blog post. Since I will post it, I am also communicating it. And I have of course been locating and consuming during this process of finding knowledge, references, models and so forth. What would the difference between “creating” and “remixing” content be? I believe remixing is referring to taking something already out there on the web and changing it in some sense so that it be new, or something else. This could also be called creating. Remixing means something more. It indicates a new, creative and artistic competence? If remixing is to be understood in this sense, I wonder whether it should be understood as a key element of digital literacy? At least this points more to the divide between visitor and resident notion than to digital natives and immigrants. I don’t think all “digital natives” are naturally artistic oriented, or feel the need to remix to make a statement. I think we are creative depended on the situation and the task, most of us. And creativity comes in different shapes and colors.

HOW WEB 3.0 WILL REVOLUTIONIZE THE EDUCATION INDUSTRY
In recent years, the idea of Web 3.0 and Web 2.0 advancements in the education sector has remained recognizable and popular.
Web 1.0 was a read-only platform, web 2.0 was a read and write platform, and web 3.0 is a read, write, and execute platform.
One of the biggest differences between Web 3.0 and previous versions is that systems are trained to think to some extent.
In our digital environment, this huge growth signifies the possibility of additional development in education.
Well, today we’ll find out how web 3.0 will change the education sector completely in the coming years.
WHAT IS WEB 3.0?
Web 3.0 technology is an improved form of Web 1.0 and Web 2.0 that is sometimes referred to as semantic web. Web 3.0 exposes a person to information based on their browsing habits and preferences, eliminating the concept of unorganized search engine results.
In basic terms, in the Web 3.0 era, people do not seek information; rather, content seeks out its specific audience. This is a fascinating feature that is made possible by technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, blockchain, virtualization, and personalization.
CHARACTERISTICS OF WEB 3.0
These 4 characteristics are the most significant ones:
INTELLIGENCE
This feature emphasizes the ability of web 3.0 to smartly perform tasks and generate output with negligible human interaction.
PERSONALIZATION
Individual preferences are taken into account during web-based activities.
INTEROPERABILITY
This feature demonstrates Web 3.0’s highly collaborative nature.
VIRTUALIZATION
With Web 3.0, the number of 3-Dimensional ecosystems will rise.
WEB 3.0 AND THE EDUCATION INDUSTRY
Web 3.0 for education will be a fusion of technology and hardware, with faculty and student gadgets becoming smarter and driven by artificial intelligence, and semantic architecture being utilized to communicate information.
Every device, such as a phone, a tablet, classroom technology, an ID card, a bus, or a fee collection pointer, will operate as a knowledge node and will store a token for contribution and collaboration.
User-created or machine-created contributions to school data are both possible. This will allow the campus to decentralize data while also ensuring that data is created as an asset on the campus’s designated computers.
Data access and user-specific token exchange will be a reality with the arrival of 5G. Each node will then be linked to a vast network of Blockchain hosts, which will not only create assets but also make search queries much more user-specific.
NEW LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR STUDENTS
Earlier to Web 3.0, the internet was dominated by social networks like blogs and social media. The new web tools and services will encourage a more expansive approach to learning.
Learning will take place in Web 3.0 via:
DIGITAL ENCYCLOPEDIA
3D Wikis will be able to provide learners with a rich and effective environment that included all media and animation, allowing them to have a greater impact on learning and knowledge.
For example, a Learner searched and selected one of the results that had information about a particular region. To deliver important audio/video information, the camera will move to a specific location on the spinning globe.
AVATARS AND VIRTUAL WORLDS
As a result of 3D game technology, augmented reality, and a virtual world powered by internet technology, users would be able to interact through moving avatars on internet corridors.
Role-playing, 3D modelling, and learning through simulation are just a few of the advantages. There’s also the advantage of having sessions in various physical areas and virtual environments to enhance learning.
SEARCH ENGINES WITH INTELLIGENCE
Previous versions of the online search result just show results with keywords, regardless of whether or not they are relevant to you, but with web 3.0, each user will have their internet profile based on their browsing history, which will aid in giving relevant and valuable information.
VIRTUAL 3D LABS
Learners will be able to participate in and execute collaborative activities, discuss results, and communicate information in a more lively manner thanks to the widespread use of 3D interfaces in web 3.0.
Students will be able to visit places that are not easily accessible through virtual labs, scenario-based learning will be possible through more realistic situations and simulations, and teamwork will be easier.
Students can construct avatars on the web, engage with each other as if they were in a real classroom, and conduct class sessions, group work, meetings, seminars, presentations, virtual exhibitions, simulations, and 3D modelling using Web 3.0.
CONCLUSION
Web 3.0 offers realistic solutions to many issues that have troubled the education system for years; individualized learning would be more manageable and attainable, schooling would be more hands-on and interactive, and learning would be more enjoyable.

Beyond the Grade: High School's Worst Lesson
School teaches many things. Reading, writing, arithmetic, and how to pull an argument out of a text with only minimal supporting evidence. You’ve all been taught how to collaborate and study and pull together a project at the last minute because that one classmate in charge of the powerpoint never finished it like they promised. You’ve learned many things here, but the most important is your lesson on the value of your grades. It’s important because it’s incorrect, and if you’re not careful it may just influence your actions well into adulthood.
High school has taught you that no matter what, a higher grade is always more desirable. Teachers discuss how in order to “get into any four-year college, your GPA should be at least a 2.0 or higher,” (Lindsay, S) as if going to college is a given for all of you. This is ridiculous, especially when people like Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft, could accomplish so much without a college degree (Britannica). I was told by my teachers that employers would not consider hiring someone with a low GPA, as if I’d send my transcript to every job I’d apply for. What’s crazy is how outdated this very information is. Research has shown that employers prefer working experience more than a good grade (Admin, D F P). Some of your very teachers may have taught you that the straight A student is somehow inherently better than the student struggling to barely pass. You’ve been ranked and separated and challenged to differing degrees, and while I promise it came from good intentions, this has all taught you the wrong lesson.
A grade doesn’t think. It doesn’t reason and flounder its way through a text. Whether you made it all the way through that Shakespeare play or not, you made it much further than a grade could. Some of you may have internalized that your worth is connected with your grades, but I want to tell you this: you think. You are intelligent. You reason and feel so much, and that is something a grade cannot attempt.
A grade doesn’t dream. I don’t doubt that a few of you have mastered the art of dreaming with eyes open. Grades may attempt to quantify learning, but they do not themselves learn. You, however, do. You get curious and learn and internalize ideas and information from around you. Some of you have dream jobs and some of you just have dreams. You have interests and hobbies and use those to enrich your lives. This is also something a grade couldn’t hope to achieve.
Your grades do not talk to each other. Astounding observation, I know. Your B in math doesn’t talk to your D in English about how your C in science is dating the new kid A from pottery. No, that’s the gossip from the cafeteria. That’s a conversation between people now sitting here. People naturally create webs of interactions and while teachers can try to quantify something so intrinsic to us, it will still be just another grade, one that doesn’t gain crushes or friendships or mortal enemies on the gym court.
High school means the best, really, but there’s one lesson that they’ve accidentally taught you in error. Grades don’t define you. Yes, being able to measure your achievement is important, but you are not your grade. So, go adventure and achieve whatever you want! Don’t mind the grades others will assign. You are so much more, and that is the one thing schools don’t teach you.

The disease or medical model of ‘mental’ health focuses “on a deficit, disease model of human behavior.” The wellness model focuses “on positive aspects of human functioning."[i] This disease model ‘defective’ emphasis has been the overriding psychiatric perspective for well over a century.
We must move away from the disease model, which assumes that emotional distress is merely symptomatic of biological illness, and instead embrace a model of mental health and well-being that recognizes our essential and shared humanity. Our mental health is largely dependent on our understanding of the world and our thoughts about ourselves, other people, the future and the world.[ii]
In 2004, the World Health Organization began promoting the advantages of the wellness perspective, declaring health, "a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."[iii] The World Psychiatric Association agrees, stating, "the promotion of well-being is among the goals of the mental health system."[iv] As positive psychologists point out, "psychological wellbeing is viewed as not only the absence of mental disorder but also the presence of positive psychological resources."[v]
The wellness model's chief facilitator is positive psychology (PP), which originated with Maslow's[vi] seminal texts on humanism, and was legitimated by Seligman as American Psychological Association president in 1998. The focus of positive psychology and other optimistic approaches, is on virtues and strengths "not only to endure and survive, but also to flourish."[vii] PP describes recovery as people "(re-) engaging in their life on the basis of their own goals and strengths, and finding meaning and purpose through constructing and reclaiming a valued identity and valued social roles."[viii]
Positive psychology is a relatively new field (since 1998) that ostensibly complements and supports rather than replaces traditional psychology. "Positive psychology serves as an umbrella term to accommodate research investigating positive emotions and other positive aspects such as creativity, optimism, resilience, empathy, compassion, humor, and life satisfaction."[ix]
PP has been defined as the science of optimal functioning, its objective "to study, identify and amplify the strengths and capacities that individuals, families and society need to thrive."[x] Cultural psychologist Levesque[xi] describes optimal functioning as the study of how individuals attempt to achieve their personal potentials and become the best that they can be.
Research has shown that positive psychology interventions "improved well-being and decreased psychological distress in mildly depressed individuals, in patients with mood and depressive disorders, [and] in patients with psychotic disorders."[xii] Studies supports the utilization of positive psychological constructs, theories, and interventions for enhanced understanding and improvement of ‘mental’ health. "The things that allow people to experience deep happiness, wisdom, and psychological, physical and social wellbeing are the same strengths that buffer against stress and physical and mental illness."[xiii]
A range of approaches promoting wellbeing have been tested in intervention research. A recent study found positive psychology interventions showed "significant improvements in mental well-being (from non-flourishing to flourishing mental health) while also decreasing both anxiety and depressive symptom severity."[xiv] Continuing research suggests that a positive psychological outlook not only improves life outcomes but enhances health directly.[xv] A meta-analysis of 51 studies with 4,266 individuals utilizing therapies focusing on mindfulness, autobiography, positive writing, gratitude, forgiveness, or kindness, found PPIs "significantly enhance well-being . . . and decrease depressive symptoms.“[xvi]
The academic discipline of positive psychology continues to develop evidence-based interventions that focus on eliciting positive feelings, cognitions or behaviors.[xvii] Independent research shows PPIs "decreased psychological distress [in individuals] with mood and depressive disorders [and] patients with psychotic disorders . . . improving quality of life and well-being."[xviii] Positive psychology offers promising interventions "to support recovery in people with common mental illness, and preliminary evidence suggests it can also be helpful for people with more severe mental illness."[xix]
Positive Psychology 2.0. One of the early challenges of positive psychology was its inattention to the negative aspects of the individual. Recognizing this imbalance, psychologists advocated a more holistic approach to embrace the dialectical opposition of human experience. Positive Psychology 2.0 (PP 2.0) evolved as a correction to this singular focus on optimism so that it could "move forward in a more inclusive and balanced matter,[xx] incorporating both positive and negative aspects of the holistic individual. As one psychologist put it, "people are not just pessimists or optimists. They have complex personality structures."[xxi] PP 2.0 recognizes the individual achieves optimal human functioning by living a meaningful life that comes through full engagement. PP 2.0 is a balanced approach, one that "equally considers positive emotions and strengths and negative symptoms and disorders."[xxii]
The positive psychology perspective maintains that individuals with a ‘mental’ disorder can live satisfying and fulfilling lives regardless of symptoms or impairments associated with the diagnosis.[xxiii] Positive psychology aims "to emphasize the positive while managing and transforming the negative to increase well-being."[xxiv]
Positive psychology focuses on enhancing wellbeing and optimal functioning rather than ameliorating symptoms. By emphasizing wellness rather than dysfunction, the positive-psychology movement aims to destigmatize ‘mental’ illness. Positive psychologists believe "the constructive use of positive psychology perspective is generally needed in contemporary research to complement the long tradition of pathogen orientation.”[xxv]
