Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

I’ve been working on and off on this art challenge that I will be continuing until I finish them all despite the month lol

I’ve got an important commission set to finish before my birthday so my time for self indulgent art is lower than before.

We’ve seen Day 1 earlier this month but a cute first kiss between Fleur and Razer when she confessed her feelings to Razer.

Cha’l and Shiyoon sharing a morning kiss before beginning their day with all of their childlings ready to cause mischief lol. I imaging that the two stay in bed a few extra minutes to just enjoy each others company before their days truly begin lol

Next is Kiel and Sammi enjoying a well deserved date away from all their childlings. Azra is probably babysitting because she knows how to gets all the kiddos in line. Kiel and Sammi’s dates are always welcomed breaths of fresh air, enjoying the serenity and quite of the forest or shores, depending on the location.

The following are two characters no one except my bestie and sister would know, because they are Ocs from a story my sister and I were creating. The guy on the left is Tatsuya and the girl is Asphodel. They have a intense slow burn romance because like all stories with young adults, they are trying to prevent the end of the world. Normally Asphodel has much longer hair but I always intended to have her hair short before the big battle. Here the two share a final kiss before that battle because I imagine they confess to each other earlier.

Continuing on with OceanPetals, we have them trying to share a kiss but their itty bitty baby had a nightmare. So kissy time has to be put on hold lol. The romance isn’t lost for the new parents though! They sneak little pecks here and there. But when their precious treasure calls out for them, nothing else matters. A rare pencil sketch from me because my eyes have gotten pretty bad so I need to limit my screen time. A girl can spend hours and hours straight drawing a piece *cough cough* and searching the web lol

Finally, we have a younger Bhihaar and Maeve sharing a secret moment together. I need to figure out what Bhihaar’s lie is to his Xeric that makes it easy for him to sneak out without much suspicion. Maeve is conflicted because on one hand she doesn’t care what her parents think of the relationship. But, she also is deathly afraid of being disowned by them in these early romantic meet ups. Her wings are missing for the laziness I feel atm, I tried but my brain kinda shut off.

All of these pieces range in many coloring styles but certain ones I plan on prettying up like the first piece.

Thought I’d share a low-rez and filter-fied version of the entire Stonesan family so far! My first of two gifts to my very good friend, @jack-toons

I’m also very proud of it and thought it’d be cool for everyone to see the family thus far since I’ve been M.I.A since Halloween lol

I said we’d see all of the EnchantedSandstorms childlings before OceanPetals’ baby and here they are! Cha’l and Shiyoon have 5 childlings in total. Iry is their oldest son and sitting next to his father. Keziah belongs to @everadream and she is at the bottom left in the front. Zipporah and Anasi are the fraternal twins in the center and youngest son Pratt on the bottom right with the mask. The other childlings named belong to Jack-toons and myself. I’ll make a proper post introducing them when my schedule frees up, they are a fun bunch!

Starting with Fleur and moving to the right we have excited parents-to-be Fleur and Razer. Cha’l and Shiyoon embracing in the center. This next one hurt lol, older Ofir! He is giving rabbit ears to his brother and father. Maeve and Bhihaar are leaning close together and Razer’s mom, Fiona, is at the end giving Bhihaar a second pair of rabbit ears. (A stand-in design for now. Prepare to see some Mom friend silliness because I want to sketch some Maeve and Fiona shenanigans lol)

All that’s missing is Jujubee and the newest member to be born! Such a big happy family, I love them so much 😭

Happy Father’s Day (I know this posted pretty late but it’s still Father’s Day until midnight) Just like last time for Mother’s Day we have what my three main ships are doing for Father’s Day!

The first one we have EnchantedSandstorms (Cha’l x Shiyoon) and their growing family. We all know Cha’l is an amazing cook so of course for today the childlings decided to make breakfast for the two of them. It’s probably something pretty simple but Cha’l is so proud to see them cooking and playing a meal all by themselves. The childling on the far right is Keziah and she belongs to @everadream

The second one we have is OceanPetals and their little family! Most likely dubbed the “Tumbeloth family” because Jujubee (their first) was treated like a little childling. Soon enough came Fabio when he and Jujubee became a mated pair. OceanPetals loves their Tumbeloths and it looks like someone else will be joining their family and Razer and Fleur are more than excited to welcome them!

The third one we have WanderingSails and their gigantic loving family! All but one childling is adopted but that doesn’t stop Kiel and Sammi from loving all of the childlings the same. The childlings love their “Little Papa” and “Big Papa” dearly. They enjoy climbing and going on flights with Sammi and they enjoy doing the fun activities Kiel comes up with for them, of course pranking os one of those activities (but only to the targets who deserves a good payback pranks lol) This family is full of so much love!

The second is Cha’l stumbling upon the soul sisters Shiyoon and Azra. He’s crying because the best and most powerful concoctions are always the smelliest and the ingredients make him a bit nauseous lol

Happy Halloween!!!!

This is my Halloween shipping art (and the grand unveiling to Cha’l and Fleur’s true loves to everyone who doesn’t know) of Cha’l x Shiyoon (EnchantedSandstorms) and Fleur x Razer (OceanPetals)

Cha’l and Shiyoon are dressed as a Ghost Pirate and Siren, very fitting of the two of them lol. Fleur and Razer are dressed as a Sexy Bee and Sexy Flower, they’re sexy and they know it lol.

These ships make me soft and they are way too adorable!!! This is the beginning to seeing more of these happy couples!

On IG I had asked my followers to make assumptions for OceanPetals’ baby/childling. The above sketches of the childling are different and aren’t the actual design we’ll all see in time.

Aahhhh I can’t wait to unveil the baby but first we must see the official designs of the EnchantedSandstorms childlings because they are so precious. I want to get a sketch done fairly soon so everyone can see a bit of their personality. Maybe I’ll share a little sketch comic I made of Cha’l and Shiyoon’s oldest childling~

Answering these questions about Fleur and Razer’s baby is so fun and I really enjoy how interested some people are; thank you! Another reason this is so fun is because OceanPetals were originally not going to have childling(s) so drawing them as parents-to-be is sweet.

What do you think the childling will look like? What personality/quirks do you think they’ll have? Are we sure that the childling is just one or is the childling a twin???

If there is one think I can confirm, the childling will have a beauty mark or two because both Fleur and Razer have beauty marks on their faces.

More IG questions! (Still need to answer/revise my old tumblr asks lol and get ready!)

The first shows Enyo looking very distraught. I like getting questions about the Garthim Wars and how my Ocs reacted to learning the truth. It’s interesting to think about how different Ocs react to the same event, because there are so many possibilities. When I eventually get to draw/sketch Garthim Wars stuff it will be pretty heavy.

The second and third are wholesome sketches of baby and childling Fleur; featuring a toddler Cha’l! Fleur is Maeve and Bhihaar’s princess but she has also given them plenty of mini heart attacks before her wings sprouted.

Seeing the last two sketches reminds me that I never shared what Kiel’s parents might look like this never sketching a childling Kiel *gasp* and childling Azra! Soon lol

If you have IG you should give their page a look! Maybe consider drawing a little something too just for fun, you know I’m gonna find some way to draw EnchantedSandstorms and WanderingSails- they are the trinity and must be respected lol

The theme was to take your Dark Crystal Ocs and create a crossover with another series/film by Jim Henson. I love Labyrinth, it changed my life- 80’s fantasy films are just magic. The aesthetic, the outfits, music, character designs- I could go on. Ever since I saw the movie on Netflix last year (or maybe it was the beginning of this year) the ballroom scene was stuck in my head. David Bowie’s vocals, the dreamy look of everything and the dance between Jareth and Sarah was my favorite part.

Fleur being a Thra fashion icon and fan of a cute outfit, she was a perfect choice for this piece. You can’t have OceanPetals without Razer so of course he was dressed up as Jareth the Goblin King! OceanPetals is iconic and they are the moment lol I had so much fun drawing this piece.

The background was supposed to be from the film buuut, I couldn’t make out exactly what everything was (I believe that’s the point) so I opted to draw a stained glass-esque window in the colors of the dark crystal instead. The warmth from that backdrop makes them pop more than the pale blues/white of the actual ballroom in the film.

The second piece is a little doodle I had made about Fleur’s reaction to Razer in his cosplay and Razer’s reaction to needing to style his hair in a mullet.

I have no other words besides that Star Wars day was 2 days ago, and yesterday I drew this when Star Wars ep3 was playing lol

Very high key, Padmé’s wardrobe in the prequels is Fleur’s dream wardrobe! I had to draw her in one of Padmé’s maternity dresses. Because Fleur is dressed like Padmé, Razer had to be dressed like Anakin! Thankfully, OceanPetals don’t have a tragic love story like Anidala.

Because the big Gelfling oc piece was posted I could get ready to unveil the OceanPetals baby!! Eeeee I’m so excited! Soon they will join EnchantedSandstorms and WanderingSails in the joys of parenthood.

Some more IG stories I did a while ago! I wanna a,let a separate post of any of the ones I have that feature other Ocs who belong to anyone on Tumblr as well.

1. Azra was a shy little girl but her Gran, Inaya helped bring her out of her shell. Gran Inaya is the one who taught Azra all there is to know about soothsaying. Azra’s backstory is sad- I forgot how sad she was as a childling until I began writing this down. Poor baby. The good thing is that she’s doing much better nowadays.

2. One day I have to draw the triple date because that 100% happened and you know there were laughs and fun expressions going on. When the shipping trinity is all in one place one would be blessed with good vibes lol. This particular piece is happening on that legendary triple date, EnchantedSandstorms is running fashionably late because they are the OG ship between myself and my friend Jack-Toons lol. Fleur is excited to finally meet Sammi because Kiel definitely brought them up to her when she passed by the Sifa shores. Razer is already acquainted with both Kiel and Sammi and is the one to thank for setting them up together (just don’t tell Fleur that his intentions weren’t to help Kiel find love)

I love them so so much!!!! Although I couldn’t draw the trinity together, all three ships are so happy and in love with their respective partners. It always shows on their faces. They all have my heart!!!! 💖

3. The only thing killing this piece is that I assigned that shade of pink to Saffron and instead of me choosing a night sky I chose a pinky sunset lol. Poor baby is merging with the background 😅. Teaching Saffron how to fly is one of Fleur’s many treasured memories since becoming a mother. She also likes to occasionally dress Saffron in a matching outfit. Bless the OceanPetals family they are so sweet- all of the ship’s families are sweet!!

4. The reverse au has me in a choke hold and I am succumbing happily 😂 Reverse Takoda and Adora are fun because they are so different from their og counterparts that the OG’s would try hiding their faces. I’m still surprised that for the most part Taokda doesn’t have a sad childhood, or messed up parents/family members, or was bullied- the gentle lad escaped somehow lol. No one besides my friend knows the full length of Adora and Elkie’s childhood. We still need to see Reverse Elkie, she’s a gem lol

Happy Valentine’s/True Love’s Day

Here we have the wonderful and dear ships @jack-toons and I have; EnchantedSandstorms, OceanPetals, and WanderingSails. As well as introducing EnchantedSandstorms’ childling, Iry ,and WanderingSails childling, Zuri.

What most of these kisses have in common are that they are from romance movies my mom introduced to me lol EnchantedSandstorms are doing the end kiss from, Titanic. OceanPetals are doing a kiss from, Tristan’s and Isolde. And WanderingSails are doing a kiss from, The Notebook.

I imagine that these kisses happen when the pairs have been reunited after a long while. Especially EnchantedSandstorms and OceanPetals because neither Shiyoon nor Fleur join Cha’l or Razer on their voyages. Or maybe Shiyoon does, she gets along with Captain Sera lol. Fleur is afraid of big open water. The closest she’ll get to a boat ride is a small boat ride on the river or not far from the docks.

I think WanderingSails’ kiss might be their first kiss as an official couple because the two of them hung out a lot after meeting. They also weren’t shy of stealing a few kisses with one another.

OR! This is everyone’s first kiss that was shared out in public.

Iry and Zuri is referenced from the kiss in the movie, My Girl. I have never seen this movie though. The kiss between these two is probably Zuri saying that they should give each other their first kiss so they don’t give their first kiss to someone who they regret. Or maybe that was the plan but Zuri got the jitters and stopped it. Iry and Zuri have an interesting friendship, especially since their personalities are so different.

I love these ships! They are too precious and aahhh their stories are so good!

Happy Halloween/Thralloween everyone!

I hope everyone had a fun and safe celebration. To celebrate the festivities I share with you all OceanPetals, EnchantedSandstorms and WanderingSails all dressed up in cosplay.

I included the reference photos for the side by side of the originals. For some reason I couldn’t find a nice official Haruhi and Kyon full body to redraw (everything was fanart or the entire S.O.S Brigade) but I loved the pose from this cosplay.

Fleur and Razer are dressed up as Minmay and Hikaru from “Macross: Do you remember Love?”

Cha’l and Shiyoon are dressed up as Kyon and Haruhi from “Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya”

Sammi and Kiel are dressed up as Nezuko and Zenitsu from “Demon Slayer”

I could go on and on about why each is dressed in each costume but we’d be here all day lol

It all boils down to conversations me and @jack-toons had about our ships, anime, and modern au! EnchantedSandstorms being Haruhi/Kyon was my idea because Shiyoon loves anime and I remember when “Haruhi Suzumiya” was really big. I really like these cute sketches of the ships decked out in their best cosplays!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers/mother figures of our lives.

This took me so long to complete but here it is!

From the top we have Maeve kissing Ofir goodnight. He’s her youngest and her little prince. Ofir makes Maeve feel young and she loves raising a young childling again!

Captain Sera can’t have childlings so all of her crewmates see her as a mother figure, especially the ones who are without any parental figures. She later learns of another way of having a childling of her own thanks to WanderingSails, but for now she is content with her found family of crewmates.

Azra didn’t grow up with either parents because they had died during a fatal ship wreck. Her grandmother is the closest Gelfling she has to a biological mom. The two of them are super close and she gets to see a side to Azra very few Gelfling get to see.

Quinta belongs to @nurloxx and Kenai is her loving boyfriend. The baby in her arms is her little sister Zora, who sees Quinta and Kenai as her parents. I love their relationship so much!

Shiyoon and Cha’l have already begun their big family lol The childling on top of Cha’l’s shoulders is Keziah who belongs to @everadream EnchantedSandstorms has some of the most mischievous childlings and their family is so entertaining.

Fleur and Razer are the happy parents to their Tumbeloth, Jujubee! There's another Tumbeloth they have named Fabio (Jujubee's mate) but I couldn't fit him in nicely. We'll see what the future holds for them, 👀

And finally we have Sammi and Kiel who have created a found family. Here Sammi is teaching they and Kiel's adopted daughters how to fly. Kiel is here because this is a moment Kiel didn't want to miss (the boys are being watched by Azra lol) and he can't pass up the chance of getting flown in Sammi's arms (it's not everyday the smol can look down on from high heights lol) WanderingSails also has a lively family and we will definitely be seeing them! In this piece they're with Zuri (Spriton), Ula (Sifa) and Cinder (Grottan)

May I introduce my Drenchen Gelfling Rizzi and Kenai! Also a colored Ofir (Bhihaar’s genes are strong and only Cha’l came out looking like a mix of both he and Maeve lol)

Rizzi is a sweet Childling who loves flowers and animals as well as taking part in many sports activities! She and Ofir become friends prior to the events in AoR. They hit it off really well and enjoyed playing around during his and EnchantedSandstorm’s visit to the Swamp of Sog. The second image is what she and Ofir look like as teenlings when they reconnect during the Garthim Wars.

Kenai is a super chill guy who is a musician and his preferred instrument are the drums, which he plays throughout the day at the Great Smerth. When he’s not on his shift, he’s at home getting high as a kite or creating tunes to show off to his friends. He is one of Shiyoon, who belongs to @myfanartblogplusshippingtrash , ex boyfriends but the two of them are still friends. He’s shorter than the average Drenchen but he makes it work lol
