The more elevated a person is, the sooner that person should help everyone and never in fellowship remind everyone of their position. My children should be like that.

"The Empress is a tall graceful figure, her face not very handsome, but her little head beautifully set and her expression pleasing and features regular, her hands and arms beautifully shaped and an air of imperial dignity and grace I never saw before.? Her dress was perfect—simple and of dazzling whiteness, with a necklace, fringe, drops, etc. that I can only compare to dark blue glass eggs for never did I see their like".
Russian journal of Lady Londonderry

“People like to romanticize Nicholas and Alix’s mutual stupidity.” - Submitted by Anonymous
“The Last Czars made me loath Nicholas and Alexandra so much. They were stupid, incompetent, stubborn and out of touch. No, they and their kids did not deserve being massacred but they were not blameless at all.” - Submitted by Anonymous

Happy 152nd Birthday to Empress Alexandra Feodorovna of Russia (née Alix of Hesse)! June 6th 1872 🤍
"Many thanks for your dear letter and kind wishes for the birth of our baby, a nice little thing, like Ella, only smaller and with finer features, though the nose promises to be long." Princess Alice of Hesse to Queen Victoria, June 17 1872
"We think of calling our little girl "Alix" (Alice they pronounce too dreadfully in German)... I will add Vicky's name to baby's others, as you propose; and "Alix" we gave for "Alice," as they murder my name here: Allice" they pronounce it, so we thought "Alix" could not so easily be spoilt." Princess Alice of Hesse to Queen Victoria, June 17 + 24 1872
