Rteddy: Remember what happened to RGB, I-or rather my true self-heavily damaged him, so much so that the damage, despite how minor it may have looked, was more than enough to drain him of the “lives” he was gifted... all I did was make it so he couldn’t return to his true form until... well... he somehow escaped the space we left him in... though I do wonder if my abilities were even truly impacting his existence... what my true self witnessed says otherwise...

Rteddy: ... But this isn’t important right now... recall Enola and Gail before they act rashly, their lack of reaction is concerning... Rteddy: The trees, most likely. No one lives near this area, so they could lay down anything they prefer without much-if any-complaints.

Trainer: I’d love to offer you help by any means... my Pokemon weren’t wrong about that, but... five minutes? Oh boy... you’ve got a lot of work cut out for you. I can help train your team while you’re here, plus... I can even offer methods to evolve your Murkrow and Haunter if you’d like.

Lizzy: Not really, no I don’t want to... Honestly what my pokenav shows is pretty clear-cut, there’s even info there! But, I get the vibe we’ll never get anywhere if we don’t at least try to answer your question...

Emmit: I could just beat ‘em all down!

Lizzy: From what we’ve explored-which isn’t much-each island seems to be used for something. There’s Kryona, that one should be obvious, but I get the vibe you’re going to act like you don’t know so... Kryona’s the main hub of Team Machine; its where a lot of their experiments went on apparently. It’s alarmingly easy to find info on them now, since they’ve all but gone defunct-and for once not because of some random kid half my age...

Anyway!! There’s Kryona-too cold to go there for us, the island that comes up purple on my pokenav is apparently a place where they threw away a bunch of old crap they didn’t use or need anymore-probably FROM Kryona.

Emmit: It’s actually really bad to go there! The air made us sick and the water around it is really toxic...!

Lizzy: I’m shocked it didn’t spread to other parts of the Island Chain, honestly. We got as close as we could to it, but the air quality is horrible, and I’ve seen some Pokemon just floating out there; pretty sure they died because of that water. The um... mustard-yellow-looking island is some sort of resort island I guess...? It doesn’t have much, just a cabin here and there, I’m guessing the executives of this group hung out around there on their off days or something... Either way, it was empty when Enola and Gail investigated it.

Emmit: I got the feeling something was there though...

Lizzy: Really? Gail and Enola didn’t see anything...

Emmit: I know but... it’s just a really unnerving hunch...

Lizzy: ... Huh... alright, noted. The white island’s some kind of tech island-we couldn’t even get close.

Emmit: I’m pretty sure there was some kind of defense setup to protect it, like... um....

Lizzy: Maybe robots or some kind of mines... waaaay too risky to get closer!

Emmit: Yeah!

Lizzy: And all of the grey islands are pretty much untouched by Team Machine for some reason. They’re like a trainer’s haven though-Pokemon everywhere! Too bad they’re REALLY scared of humans, and even foreign Pokemon...

Emmit: Yeah, they wouldn’t even talk to us...

Lizzy: And that’s all I really know-we never bothered to really study the islands ourselves! If you wanna go to them, go right ahead; Emmit and I have a search to conduct. At least Gail and Ozzy got a head start...!

Lizzy: They’re called the Machine Island Chain! From what I’ve researched, these islands are all owned by a group called Team Machine-or The Machine as they go by now. They’re a pretty secretive group that kinda works on experimentation with Pokemon and such...

Osric: “Pokemon” like Reid exist because of them, but I’m sure by now that’s a given.

Lizzy: Yup! Anyway, these islands... There’s a couple of them... hold on, maybe I have... my pokenav thing...

Emmit: We really need to upgrade that thing...

Lizzy: SHhhhhh....! Here it is!

Lizzy: A bunch of major islands make up the main facilities of this chain, though a lot of them don’t have clear names. We just call this place “The Forest”... the green one on the map.

Emmit: There are no Pokemon here, at all-not even humans-we’re the only ones here right now!

Osric: And to explain why it isn’t frozen and ice-covered... well, it’s far away from Kryona, quite a ways to be honest...

Lizzy: It’s in the island chain but you could probably travel from here and reach somewhere like Orre or Hoenn by boat.

Emmit: It takes TOO LONG...

Gail: It’s quite the distance but there are small islands within the Machine Island chain that contain livable environments...

Lizzy: Yup, and this is one of them! Anyway, I’m not sure what’s going on in Kryona but this is totally NOT Kryona; so no ice and snow! Which is great considering-

Osric: Your lack of shoes?
