“The Date” short film will give you the warm fuzzies

20Gayteen will be hard to top, but it certainly paved the way for even more quality lesbian, bi and queer content. There are some very cool things on the horizon in 2019, and one to keep on you radar is the romantic short film, The Date. The Date, which is created by Hansof Waller and Emmalie El Fadli, is a meet-cute for the Tinder-age. Londoners Lizzy (Miriam O’Brien) and Olivia (Claire Cartwright) swiped right on each other, and after some flirty texts, the two meet for a date. Their connection is undeniable, and they go on to have a wonderful evening together, which hints at something much more for the two. The short was funded via Indiegogo and you can still sign up to get the film before it’s released.
