rewatched the first two seasons of scream the tv series so i could finally watch the third season before they remove it from netflix. however i still cant bring myself to get on board with the complete change from s2 to s3. it kills me that we left off on a cliffhanger and just....never go back to that. whole new setting. whole new characters. wild.

I haven't washed my hair in two weeks

Audrey had long ago cut her hair because it just felt right, having it be more boyish. She never questioned her gender or anything like that, she just felt more comfortable with it cut so she kept it that way since she was old enough to cut it herself.

Whenever her depressive episodes came, especially more severe ones such as this, she found herself grateful for that years-old decision because she would go long periods of time without taking much care of her personal hygiene. She'd still use deodorant and whatnot to make sure she didn't smell like shit, but proper showers were few and far between.

Sure, her hair got greasy, but she knew it would be a million times worse if her hair was longer like Emma or Brooke's. Besides, it made the eventual shower where she would inevitably clean out all the grease and grime less miserable and the drying process was a flicker compared to those with longer locks.

But she hadn't showered in two weeks, and it was getting pretty bad.

She didn't even fully notice until Brooke was stroking her hair and commented on how she needed to wash it. "Your hair's a bit matted" the blonde had said, and Audrey felt the guilt and shame building in the pit of her stomach because this was just one more thing she was falling short on. She hadn't fully opened up to Brooke about her depression yet because she didn't want the girl to think she was using it as an excuse for being unkept, but it made moments like this all the more difficult. The simple task of taking a shower was so much more difficult to her than Brooke would ever realize.

Been getting mental health texts from my friends to check if I'm alright

Noah knew about her depression. He'd been the one friend she had when she received the diagnosis and he saw how that realization made everything click into place, so she figured it wasn't too surprising when she got a text from him, asking if she was alright.

themorgueofficial : You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to, but I'm here for you, 'kay?

Audrey smiled to herself. Noah really was a better friend than she deserved- Than anyone��deserved. Still, she didn't want to push this on him because it wasn't his problem. He had his own shit to worry about, he didn't need to shoulder any more of her baggage. If she became too much for him, there wasn't a whole lot stopping him from leaving. Or, at least, that's how she saw it in the thick of her chemical imbalance.

They never show this shit in movies

She figured that the media was partially to blame for how crazy she felt. Working at a movie theater, she would sit in and view more movies than she could count, so she became pretty well-versed in the newest media trends and was also fairly knowledgeable in the classics because Noah would always show them to her. One thing she picked up on more after her own depression diagnosis and later the PTSD she and everyone else got from the murders was the representation of mental illness in the films. When it wasn't demonized, it was romanticized. Young girls cutting themselves and jumping off roofs, wearing all black, and listening to sad music in the bathtub while candles surrounded them. Audrey didn't relate to these people, aside from maybe the choice of attire. She'd never harmed herself in that way nor made an attempt at her life (though the thought had admittedly crossed her mind from time to time) and she certainly didn't have the pretty crying sessions these characters did. No, her crying sessions were usually her curled up in a bed littered with laundry and unfinished homework surrounded by trash and recyclables that accumulated on her bedroom floor. It was a far cry from the pretty sadness displayed in these films and it made her feel all the more broken and crazy because she couldn't even be depressed right. How fucking pathetic is that?

So I say "Yes", but it's a lie

With that, she turned off her phone and pocketed it, not wanting to see Noah's response. She wasn't upset with him or anything- Far from it, in fact. She greatly appreciated him reaching out more than she'd ever admit- It was just easier to lie to him if she didn't have to see the inevitable "Okay, but I'm here for you. Love you, bi-curious" that would follow her text.

I'm not alright, I'm not alright

She turned onto her side, facing her wall, and pulled her pillow up to her chest.

Everything felt like too much and too little at the same time. On the one hand, her mind was screaming at her, telling her about all the horrible qualities she had and how she would die alone. On the other hand, however, she couldn't find it within her heart to care. That, she believed, was the most insidious side of her disorder.

M-m-my bed's a dirty pile of clothes that's just been stackin' up for months

After what could have been half an hour or two full years, she sat up and looked around her. The pile of dirty clothes on her bed stressed her out beyond belief because she knew she should put it all in the laundry. Her selection of clean clothes was growing slimmer and slimmer and she'd be a liar if she said she hadn't gone to school in clothes that weren't entirely clean a few days. Yet, again, she couldn't find it within her to care. She knew it should be done, but she couldn't find the energy to actually go through the motions of collecting all her clothes and making the walk of shame to the laundry room, put them through the wash, do the walk of shame once more to move them to the dryer, and do the shame-iest of walks back to her bedroom once they were all done. Everything else was hard enough as it was.

I have to force myself to eat and sleep and brush my teeth

She hardly ate or slept during this time and brushing her teeth became a distant memory, though she tried to keep up with the three. Lunch was easier at least because she always went with Brooke, Emma, Noah, and Stavo to the cafeteria and then they would all eat together. Noah would even keep granola bars in his bag as a communal offer because most people in the group would forget or otherwise just neglect to keep up with their hunger. The lack of sleep made the bags under her eyes heavier and her usual irritability a bit more severe, but no one seemed to look that carefully, except for Noah who already knew the reason and Brooke, who was growing increasingly worried for her girlfriend.

Because if I don't then I won't ever remember how to be a human

At one point during this episode, she broke down over texts to Noah about how broken she felt, unable to even keep up with her base needs. As per usual, Noah was amazingly supportive and assured her that she didn't need to feel guilty for falling behind on such things, reminding her that he, too, tended to fall behind on personal care and hygiene due to his ADHD. thechickinthevideo : i just dont even know what 2 do at this point noah. i feel like shit constantly and i cant even feed myself if im not with u and the others doing it. thats not normal themorgueofficial : No, it's not thechickinthevideo : wow thanks :/ themorgueofficial : BUT, that doesn't make you broken or a failure. I'm useless

She once again pocketed her phone. She didn't need a spiel about how she wasn't a failure and all that bullshit. Not when her brain was so dead set on bullying her. She loved Noah and she knew he was more grounded in reality than she was at that point but she couldn't fucking stand how nice he was being to her because she didn't deserve it.

She looked back at the heap of laundry on her bed and began crying.

I can't feel anything

The next day at school, she wouldn't speak to anyone. She'd seemingly gone completely nonverbal and that just made Noah and Brooke and Emma and even Stavo worry even more about her worsening state. She typically only went nonverbal if she got super overstimulated or overwhelmed emotionally and they were all used to her going quiet for a few hours at a time, but once it got to the next day and she still wasn't talking, they all knew something must've been seriously wrong.

I'm low, low, low

"Audrey, are you okay?" Emma asked on the second day. Audrey just frowned and shook her head. Before she knew it, Emma was pulling her into an unsolicited (but deeply appreciated) hug. "Whatever it is, you can talk to me about it" the taller girl said earnestly. Audrey reached into her pocket for her phone. "I'm here" ill be ok Audrey typed into her notes app. Emma lingered over her shoulder to see what she wanted to say. things r just tough in my brain rn "Okay" Emma nodded. "But don't think you have to be okay for the rest of us, yeah?" she nudged the short-haired girl. "Lord knows we've all had our fair share of mental issues. No one's judging you"

I know, know, know

Audrey just nodded and smiled and her smile was faker than ever and the bags under her eyes made her look like a raccoon but she couldn't be bothered to put on makeup to cover it no matter how hard she thought about it. Without another word exchanged between the pair, they went their separate ways. And then the third day of everyone knowing something was up came along and Audrey wasn't at school. For a moment, Brooke's mind jumped to the worst (that Audrey had done something she couldn't take back), but everyone reassured her that she probably just took a mental health day. She had, in fact, taken a mental health day but not in the sense that she sat with herself and decided she wasn't going to go to school so she could take care of her mental health. No, she had simply not had the energy to get out of bed that morning and resigned herself to not going. It's not like her dad paid enough attention to her to even notice her presence anyways, so it's not like she had to worry about being reprimanded for skipping the whole day just lying in bed. She didn't eat. She didn't sleep. She didn't move. She just lied there, staring at the ceiling, the whole day.

I don't belong here

There truly was no place for someone like her

I'm having a hard time

Someone so broken. Someone who couldn't even deal with the pile of laundry on her bed.

Stuck on the bathroom floor And I'm spiraling and I can't stop crying

Someone who only got up once in a whole day to go to the bathroom and then couldn't even make it back to her bedroom, resulting to sobbing on the bathroom floor and then passing out.

It's all a nightmare

Someone who hated everything.

I'm losing it big time

Someone who was losing her mind in front of everyone but too much of a coward to fully acknowledge it.

Been on this hamster wheel for the last four years and I'm fucking tired

Someone who had been losing it for years and was finally getting bad enough to where it affected everyone around.

I can do better

Someone who knew her shortcomings but couldn't fix them. That was the issue, at the crux of it. She couldn't fix herself. She was always a fixer, always. But, when it came to her own wellbeing, she neglected it just like her father did. She wanted to be better, though, and she figured that reaching out to her worried girlfriend (which, oh fuck, that's a lot of missed calls) and opening up was a good start. Worst case scenario, Brooke was overwhelmed by it and would break up with her. Worst worst scenario, the rest of them would follow suit and she'd be alone. Worst worst worst scenario, she wouldn't be able to handle the abandonment and would do the forbidden thing. The thing she couldn't take back. Still, she had to try.

I can be better than this

Xia Meng, also known as Hsia Moog or Miranda Yang (Sunrise, Bride Hunter)—For those who are familiar with Hong Kong's early cinema, Xia Meng is THE leading woman of an era, the earliest "silver-screen goddess", "The Great Beauty" and "Audrey Hepburn of the East". Xia Meng starred in 38 films in her 17-year career, and famously had rarely any flops, from her first film at the age of 18 to her last at the age of 35. She was a rare all-round actress in Mandarin-language films, acting, singing, and dancing with an enchanting ease in films of diverse genres, from contemporary drama to period operas. She was regarded as the "crown princess" among the "Three Princesses of the Great Wall", the iconic leading stars of the Great Wall Movie Enterprises, which was Hong Kong's leading left-wing studio in the 1950s-60s. At the time, Hong Kong cinema had only just taken off, but Xia Meng's influence had already spread out to China, Singapore, etc. Overseas Chinese-language magazines and newspapers often featured her on their covers. The famous HK wuxia novelist Jin Yong had such a huge crush on her that he made up a whole fake identity as a nobody-screenwriter to join the Great Wall studio just so he can write scripts for her. He famously said, "No one has really seen how beautiful Xi Shi (one of the renowned Four Beauties of ancient China) is, I think she should be just like Xia Meng to live up to her name." In 1980, she returned to the HK film industry by forming the Bluebird Movie Enterprises. As a producer with a heart for the community, she wanted to make a film on the Vietnam War and the many Vietnam War refugees migrating to Hong Kong. Quell’avvicinamento infastidisce però un gruppo di ragazzi e l’incontro si trasforma presto in una rissa di gruppo, durante la quale Mateo finisce per uccidere accidentalmente Daniel (Eduald Font). Il Vidal viene così immediatamente arrestato e condannato a quattro anni di carcere. A quel punto, la narrazione viene trasportata avanti di 8 anni, periodo in cui Mateo ha potuto rifarsi una vita al fianco della moglie Olivia Costa (Aura Garrido), incinta del loro primo figlio, ed ha assunto la direzione dello studio di Isma, morto improvvisamente a causa di un ictus.

Un incipit drammatico che si complica quando un altro segreto legato al passato dell’ex galeotto comincia a riaffiorare: Olivia scompare, infatti, nel corso di un viaggio di lavoro e l’uomo inizia a ricevere dei messaggi dal suo cellulare, da cui sembra chiaro che la donna avesse in corso una relazione extraconiugale. Un mistero, che assume i toni thriller, quando la moglie si mette in contatto telefonico con lui, asserendo di non avergli mandato alcun messaggio e comportandosi come se niente fosse mai successo.

Sarà dunque allora che Mateo deciderà di indagare, scoprendo sia che Olivia non è mai andata a Berlino come gli ha detto, sia che ha prelevato un ingente somma di denaro dal loro conto. Azioni apparentemente inspiegabili che sembreranno collegarsi ad un flashback continuo dell’uomo intento a picchiare qualcun altro. Fatto sta che il dramma di Mateo, confuso, da scoprire e caratterizzato da continue e minacciose chiamate telefoniche di uno sconosciuto attraverso il cellulare di Olivia, si intreccerà presto con le investigazioni dell’agente Lorena Ortiz (Alexandra Jimenez), chiamata a far luce sull’apparente suicidio di suor Maria (Emma Acosta), residente nello stesso istituto in cui è cresciuta. Attraverso Mateo e Lorena, il pubblico potrà quindi assistere a due punti di vista diversi, caratterizzati da continui “salti temporali” creati ad hoc per far scoprire cos’è successo nel passato ai protagonisti della serie.

The Halloween special episodes of scream were better than half of the rest of season 2, number one reason being we don’t have to hear any of Kieran’s bullshit or have him conveniently pop up whenever the killer is around them only for the killer to dissappear 🙄 they couldn’t have made him being the killer anymore obvious and they tried so hard to make us suspect Eli Stavo Audrey and even Brandon himself 🙃 if Kieran had acted completely normal like in season 1 you would never suspect him, but his scenes in season 2 were actually trash. Number two reason being it has a new killer story (Anna Hobbs) but combined the story within the Lakewood story. Number three reason being it followed the “scream” plot entirely, but was also different than the first two seasons at the same time

It was created by remnants of the earth government and Terran dominion regime. It was wielded by a leader of the Forces of Evil. 

When they were brought back to life, because of how they died, what happened to them in the afterlife, & how they were brought back to life. Their mind was possessed, their heart was corrupted, their mana was contaminated, their soul was tainted, & their body was decayed. They had to be purified and healed by nanites, medicine, healers, potions, magic, etc. when they were resurrected by talismans, charms, & amulets.

They have a prosthetic bionic and cybernetic right eye. The prosthetic bionic and cybernetic eye is made out of alien metal and human metal. They have a blue plasma scar that goes from the top of their face on their left forehead all the way to the bottom of their cheek. The scar goes through their left eyebrow. They were blinded in one eye by accident early on in their life as a metahuman and superhuman super soldier and military officer. However their caretakers managed to craft, buy, or otherwise procure some kind of device that allowed them to see more or less like normal people. He/she/they are physically disabled as someone because he/she/they were disfigured in combat during war. He/she/they were disfigured by a hard light bullet wielded by an alien officer who was a sniper of the Earth military of the Terran Dominion. At some point in the past he/she/they have lost use and function to a part of himself/herself/themselves. But through study of advanced technology and the help of those who have already done so he/she/they have replaced it with an advanced prosthetic replacement.  Without the eye they had decreased depth perception. It was built for them by humans and aliens who were inventors, scientists, engineers. Losing your eye is fairly easy in a world filled with technology and magic. Gaining back your sight is still possible if you have the brass, copper, silver, platinum, & or gold coin, cash, or credits for it. In the biggest cities in the counties, states, countries, & continents on the terraformed and colonized planetoids, comets, moons, asteroids, & planets of the Federation you can find merchants of all kinds. The first day is spent on measurements and creating the components while the second day is spent installing the apparatus. While the eye is embedded in their eye socket. It can’t be removed by anyone other than them. The eye upgraded with them. The eye has been customized and upgraded many times now. These blindspots are hard to exploit though. 

Biological eye can shapeshift into a supernatural eye (divine eye, devil eye, or draconic eye) with ultimate vision and all ocular powers for a limited time. This magical eye gives many magical and supernatural powers. It allows the user to shoot magical optic blasts in the forms of magical beams or lasers from their eyes. The magical eye lets them mind control other people, but only who look directly into their prosthetic eye, for a few minutes. The arcane eye lets them see through illusions. These powers are because of a magical eye. The magical eye was upgraded. It gives them the superpower of ultimate vision with magic. They can see throughout the electromagnetic spectrum on a supernatural level. Allows users to see through supernatural disguises. Magic eye gives them superhuman perception, knowledge, charisma, wisdom, intelligence, & luck. Can summon a third eye for more power for a limited time. Using these magical powers through the magical third eye is taxing on their energy, stamina, & endurance so they don’t use it often. They got the third eye after an encounter with a primordial being as a demigod (who became a true god after being given divinity through heroic deeds, accomplishments, & achievements).
