April shall be known as the month where I wanted to read all the books, but my last month of the semester and final papers sort’ve prevented that– I still managed to read 6 books! I’m beyond excited for my summer reading plans, and within those 6 books, I also managed to conquer two Sarah J. Maas books!?! Since I spend a lot of time reading, writing, and with words in general for school, I relaxed a lot by watching TV and movies. And writing blog posts, of course.

I’ve been loving bookish Instagram templates lately, and I found The Virgin Suicides through a classics challenge template. This intriguing, but shocking read has definitely become one of my favored classics.

  So imagine my happiness when my family decided to get HBO on Amazon Prime during the busiest time of the school year. There’s so much I want to watch on HBO (my friend keeps pressuring me to start Game of Thrones), and I did find the time to watch a few movies, including The House, La La Land, and Collateral Beauty. Zoella’s New York City vlogs influenced my watching of Collateral Beauty, which was my favorite movie of the month (even if it caused me to ugly cry).

I also watched Speech & Debate on Netflix. I was really excited to watch this one because of Darren Criss and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s cameos, and I really enjoyed its cast and humor.

My finals work had me craving some light-hearted TV, which led me to catching on the CW. I’m now up-to-date on Riverdale, and I’ve been loving Life Sentence with Lucy Hale.

Streaming-wise, I watched the first season of Divorce on HBO/Amazon Prime. I’m a huge Sarah Jessica Parker fan and it was fun to see her once again in New York City. And in more light-hearted TV news, I watched the first season of Nailed It on Netflix. I love baking shows, and this one is such much fun, showcasing amateur bakers who try to replicate Pinterest and Instagram-worthy cakes and treats.

My Experience Seeing Carousel

Carousel– During the first week in April, one of my best friends and I went to see Carousel on Broadway. I have a post about my experience seeing the show, and I can now say that I’ve been to a Broadway preview.

Publishing over 200 Posts- Wrap ups truly are full circle. I probably should’ve mentioned this last month, but Give Me More Spring Breaks: March Wrap Up was my 200th blog post. I’ve actually been doing some spring cleaning on the blog and deleting some old posts, but I’m still over the 200 mark!

Finishing my second year of college- At the time I’m publishing this wrap-up, I only have two days of my sophomore year left! I’ve enjoyed sophomore year much more than my first year, and not just for the fact that I had no written final exams this semester. I did really well in the classroom, had my first internship, made some great friendships, and of course read a lot of books.

I was filled with so many emotions when I first saw their faces. Tech’s cute little smile is just as attractive to me as Crosshair’s stoic glaring at The rest of the group.

Heightened senses. And electromagnetic frequencies?? As a radiology student, not all electromagnetic frequencies are safe…and how does he sense them? And how does he interpret them??? I love seeing the green aurora in the sky when they’re talking in this scene because the aurora is created by the solar wind interacting with the atmosphere. That is related to the “electromagnetic frequencies” Tech refers to.

If any clones were to take the “disposable” ideal literally, it’s them. They’re defective and the only reason they are still alive is because their “mutations” have been manipulated to be useful

Tech’s visor is the first one we see through. And I have always loved watching Tech and Crosshair work together like that

Crosshair moves just slightly toward Tech when the Poltec leader steps toward him while he’s translating. I love watching him do that…

Echo has a point Hunter, what are you gonna do with her??? I know you’re Mandalorian by adoption, but….how much experience do you have being a parent?? Especially since she is technically older than you…

”Project War Mantle” is what we see in episode “War Mantle” with the TK troopers being trained by other CC’s. It’s a great concept, until the clones figured it out and sabotaged the whole project

Common Ground

Raxus is such a pretty planet, fall is my favorite season

I enjoy this episode because it shows that the Empire just waltzed into both sides of the Clone War and took over. It shows how effective Palpatine’s plan was and how heartbreaking it is to watch the clones be slowly phased out and discarded like the cannon fodder they have always been to everyone

And we still don’t want to discuss how we immediately went for Omega but have just completely forgotten about Crosshair again

The soundtrack for this episode is one of my favorites from the first half of the season. I go back and forth on this episode…I do and don’t like it

This episode was actually a lot of fun! Of course, I was starting to get frustrated with no Crosshair….

Tech making Omega her comm from one of Crosshair’s old ones was so sweet and heartbreaking

I remember the first time I watch this and my initial panic of “how are they gonna get out of this one???” Because we don’t see them in many sticky situations like this. We just know that this is what they do and they somehow manage to get out of it

Oh! I hate hand signals. Perhaps if you memorized them. Why don’t you memorize them!? I HAVE!!

What happened on Felucia???

This is the only time we hear their theme until we get to the finale. And it’s in this exact same room, fighting the exact same droids, but my how all of them have changed since this.

Wrecker, knife! That shot…..is almost better than the mirror trick. ALMOST!!

“Five are all that remain”…..WHO IS THE FIFTH CLONE?!?!?! It’s not Omega if she’s unaltered like Alpha/Boba.

And why was Omega created anyway?? As a source of DNA for more clones since she is pure Jango, but that seems too easy. Was she created because Nala Se wasn’t sure if Jango wanted a son or a daughter? Or did she think he would take both of them?? You can’t convince me Nala Se cares for Omega, I will never forget what she did with Tup and Fives.

I love the music while they’re on Onderon.
