you may start to see the nakshatras next to each other subtlety inheriting the same traits from one another no matter how much in contrast their cycles are. i notice the features progress from the previous nakshatra, without completely losing the passed down blueprint. i realized this as i scrolled through this order of collages. for example, mula and jyestha honestly look the most similar to me (the whole transition from anuradha to purva ashada, actually).

Honourable mention

While Mula natives usually have elongated faces much like Purva Ashadas, it's always interesting to see the different manifestations of physiognomy of the same nakshatras. Had I done that, this thread would have been a lot longer. You would think I should have added Kendall Jenner-Emily Ratajkowski as a pair in the Uttara Bhadrapada section — but notice how they're physically set apart from other natives. There are a variety of ways a nakshatra can look on our faces, I notice this when I'll find a pair of natives who look similar but they are their own set from other natives under the same nakshatra. Keep this in mind, there isn't always a certain look.

Another addition, trine nakshatras can resemble one another. I wanted to add these final pictures to reach the image limit.

Models Who Are Not Naturals (Kibbe)

We know that the modelling industry is dominated by FNs/Flamboyant Naturals since clothes are made for a rectangular frame and not customized to the curves and contours of a specific body. Models who are frame dominant are preferred because they can advertise the clothes as they are instead of having it tailored to fit them.But all of that aside, I thought it'll be interesting to find models who do not have a typical FN build.

Keep in mind that almost all the women mentioned below are over 5'7 and with Kibbe's height restrictions in mind, at that height, only a few IDs are possible (SD, D, FN). Since this is a post about models who aren't FN, this list will largely feature Ds & SDs.

For context, this is a typical FN build. Cindy Crawford is a verified FN. She has broad shoulders, a square torso and an overall athletic build. FNs are likely to have an inverted triangle like frame.

Back when he was going clubbing with Briana, fans did see them kissing and hugging. But Annas the club promoter always let them know where they would go so fans knew and could be there watching them. It kind of backfired because fans would not post the pictures so we got cousin Ashley posting the two one where we can see them in the back of her nose to nose laughing. The time he went out and "made out" with the girl with the podcast, guess what? Annas let people know where Louis was going that night. Olivia has every right to be heartbroken but she went crazy when he started dating Taylor, for me that's not normal anymore, none of his exes were as crazy as she is now and she doesn't even hide it. The Olivia Wilde relationship made him look bad for a number of reasons and the main one being he was hooking up with a woman who was in a 10 year relationship with two children. He broke up a home. He was a homewrecker. Then all of the antics that happened during that relationship, but the biggest thing was the Florence Pugh situation. Him allegedly making more money than Florence view there being issues on site and how she felt like Harry and Olivia were both being extremely unprofessional. it hurt his reputation a lot more than people think it did. It hurt Olivia’s 100% more, but it also hurt Harry’s. People were looking at him kind of crazy after that relationship and not to mention the Emily Ratajkowski situation his relationship with Taylor was meant to clean up his image just a little bit. They wanted him to get back to that place where he just had very normal private relationships, especially after two years of just a mess. I believe this happened because of the fact that didn’t want to be the subject of his next album. He wanted people to think that it was more about Taylor than it it was Olivia because he doesn’t want the association with her ever again and doesn’t want to bring up past issues i.e. the cheating. So dating Taylor will now make it seem like this new album is about Taylor.

Like every former boybander in search of a solo career, Harry Styles had to create a new identity when One Direction split in 2016. But he didn’t just reinvent himself for the post-1D era. Styles, 29, has also been credited with reinventing manhood for a modern-day audience.

“Harry Styles is rewriting the rules of masculinity on his terms,” raved the women’s magazine Grazia in 2021. The New York Times heralded Styles last year for his “liberated” take on gender. That liberated take, though, hasn’t precluded him from reportedly having lots (and lots) of girlfriends.

According to reports this week, the model and actress Emily Ratajkowski is the latest in a string of famous and gorgeous women with whom Styles has been linked. There was the late Caroline Flack, who was presenting The Xtra Factor, the sister show of The X Factor, when Styles was a contestant in 2010 (she was 32 and he was 17). After that he went out with the comedian Emily Atack for a short time.

Styles’ last public relationship was with the actress and director Olivia Wilde, who he met when he worked on the film Don’t Worry Darling.

He also dated Kendall Jenner. His relationship with Taylor Swift was brief, but creatively fertile: her album 1989 is rumoured to be shaped by their romance. There was a scattering of Victoria’s Secret models in between. Most recently, he was involved with the director Olivia Wilde (who cast him in the film Don’t Worry Darling) in the middle of a messy break-up with the father of her two children, the actor Jason Sudeikis.

There’s something quite retro about Styles’s romantic history, matching the dreamy Seventies influence in his music. His capacity for hooking up with the most impressive beauties of his era recalls the great shaggers of the 20th century — men like Mick Jagger, Warren Beatty and David Bowie, all of whom seemed to have had a cheerful kid-in-a-candy store attitude to sexual possibilities afforded by celebrity.

But serial dating can look tawdry rather than glamorous in the 21st century. Think of the general shudder greeting the actor Leonardo DiCaprio’s endless procession of young girlfriends, none of whom seem to last beyond their 25th birthday.

So how does Styles do it? He has always rejected the playboy label, and his version of maturity is different from the laddish one espoused by previous teen idols turned adult stars. See Robbie Williams, obliterating his Take That pinup status in 1995 by partying with Oasis at Glastonbury. Or Justin Timberlake, making vulgar comments about his ex Britney Spears in 2002 to kill off his nice-guy ’N Sync image.

Styles is known for his flamboyant looks and defying masculine conventions.

No such boorishness for Styles. He is, instead, the gold standard of modern sensitivity. He wore a dress on the cover of Vogue, and a sheer blouse and pearl earring to the Met Gala in New York. In the film My Policeman, he played one half of a tender gay romance, and he’s lent his support to causes including Black Lives Matter and LGBT rights. At one concert, he supported a fan in coming out to her mother, leading the whole audience in a chant of: “Tina, she’s gay.”

This image has helped to make him staggeringly successful: his 2022 album Harry’s House broke streaming records, won best album at the Brits and the Grammys and spawned a 15-night residency at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Coupled with his delicate handsomeness, this may explain the queue of girlfriends.

Like his ex Swift, Styles has pointed out that he doesn’t actually date more than the average person his age — he just attracts more attention when he does. In the case of Ratajkowski, one photograph of the two kissing in the street in Tokyo has been worldwide news for days.

Styles also dated Kendall Jenner. He likes to remain on good terms with his exes.

In response, Styles maintains the gentlemanly habit of rarely discussing his love life. It’s not far off the old music industry wisdom that heartthrobs should avoid relationships to keep themselves notionally available to their fans. But it also protects him. Having been famous since he was 16, Styles has had to learn to draw a line between his public and private selves to survive. And it protects the woman he’s with from jealous fans, who perceive any girlfriend as a rival to be attacked. A corner of his fandom can be “crazy” and “mean”, he has said.

Styles’s respect for his partners is in line with contemporary manners. Timberlake initially gained credibility for trashing Spears but by 2021, at the peak of #FreeBritney outrage, upset fans pushed him into a grovelling apology nearly 20 years on. Chivalry is back in fashion.

Styles also gets points for his apparent fearlessness around women who are impressive on their own terms. While the age gap with Flack raised eyebrows at the time, he’s subsequently been linked to multiple older, accomplished women.

Unlike a lot of famous men, he seems happy to be with an equal — or even, in the case of Swift, her muse. He also keeps things amicable post-break-up and has made friendly appearances with Swift and Jenner.

Beatty is also known for keeping his exes close. “What happens is fame gives you access, so you’re lucky enough to be exposed to these very admirable women,” the actor said in 2016. “Not just physically beautiful, but great people and talented and intelligent people.”

Harry Styles hasn’t reinvented masculinity but maybe he’s rediscovered the trick that separates a great lover from a playboy: he actually seems to like women, as well as wanting to sleep with them.

My Body by Emily Ratajkowski - A Review

This book is indeed about her body. It's about her discomfort with the way women's bodies are a means of achieving power and status, yes, when they are deemed as sexy and therefore good, but that makes people respect women less as people with brains. the concept isn't a new one, but much of what she talks about is very relatable.

There was actually a part where she talks about this anxiety (the anxiety of knowing your looks are so important for perceived value yet a barrier for being respected) and how one day she posted a photo of herself in a bikini to Instagram. She was at this fancy hotel as part of a promotional thing the hotel were doing, invited so she could take photos of herself there and increase their reach (it worked, the photo got 500k likes in an hour). In this chapter, she actually tells us the caption she put on the photo, and of course I had to see if it was still up. It was, and she looks so good in that photo, so it was cool to see how that very day she had been feeling shit about herself as a model and how people ultimately don't take her seriously. It made me question whether I have the same biases. What do I think about when I see a model looking effortless? For one, I feel jealousy. I think I would also see her as less smart than if it was a photo of a more modestly dressed woman with glasses, for example, which is another thing she brings up in that chapter.

the chapter on her mother always calling her beautiful also resonated with me, because so did mine. the vibe of it being like 'you got that from me' i have also experienced. the key thing here though is that it's in that kind of conditioning that the little girls that hear that stuff experience the birth of a belief that every woman lands at at some point in her life: your looks matter, and they matter more than they do for men. again, nothing ground-breaking, but relatable nonetheless.

the chapter on her mother always calling her beautiful and putting an emphasis on it also resonated with me, because so did mine. i learnt early on that beauty was something i should be grateful for, that it matters for women and definitely more than for men. but this compliment always feels a little like a threat, like not everyone has it therefore it should be guarded in some way. it felt validating to hear someone else describe an experience i had also had.

i also related to the high school chapters. the way she describes wanting to fit in matched my experience to a t, yet she's a model and i am not. it just shows that the insecurities we perceive only ourselves to have are had even by women whose prettiness earns them money.

and of course, the blurred lines chapter. i think that chapter summarised really well what happens when we think that we can be empowered - truly empowered, shameless in our bodies - only for that to be shattered by one 'small' thing, reminding us that we do in fact live in a man's world. in intentionally women's only spaces, however, this sense of power can exist, but in an internal way - the power to nourish your body in the senses, not from the level of appeal you provide for outside eyes. this reminds me of that lake in london which is strictly women only, where you can sunbathe without any peeping toms. or those women only raves. we have to carve out those spaces though, they don't already exist naturally.

i realise i have not been reviewing the chapters in order, but from here on I will begin to cover what i haven't already. the chapter about how her nude images were sold as 80,000 dollar art and printed into not one but THREE books made my blood boil. what i love about the way emily reflects on experiences is that there is a lot of shit in her life, a lot of feeling not good enough and dissatisfied with herself, which is extremely relatable *sigh*. but then when she rounds up the chapter and shares her final thoughts on the topic, they're not fake positive. they're matter of fact, like 'this is what it is' and 'i'll try my best to control what i can, even if there's loads i can't control'.

if i was to summarise this book in a painting, it is the one that sits above this review. 'Vanity' is a 1910 painting depicting a woman looking at herself in a mirror, and John Waterhouse, the painter, seems to think she is vain for doing so. But they are both looking at her, yet her act of looking is demonised. She might be thinking 'oh how pretty I look' but that is vanity coming from her, while from him it's acceptable. this is what this book gives: emily is a woman whose looks have gotten her far, but there are so many instances in her life where men have taken her images, made more money off of them (without permission!!!), and then demeaned her in public. that's why the endings of her chapters aren't like 'but now im happy and love myself! hooray!' they aren't that because the situations she has found herself in are dire, no two ways about it, and her peace has come only because she chose to find it.

the final chapter actually made me tear up. through all the self-doubt and self-criticism she has subjected herself to throughout her life, emily experiences a moment in which she is deeply proud of her body even thought she red, puffy, swollen and unkempt-looking. this is during her childbirth. it's a really lovely ending because, again, she doesn't paint the picture that ~all is okay now <3~ because she is a mother. but the tenderness with which she describes that moment of seeing how her body - the one that has given her so much grief her whole life - can do an incredible thing by pure instinct, made me so happy for her.

in this chapter she also talks about a rage throwing session set up by her therapist after they she shares that she doesn't let herself get angry. in the session, she has to throw a jar against a wall. she says 'i imagine someone looking out their window to see a skinny woman throwing an object at a brick wall. Pathetic, I repeat in my head'. when she gets out of her head, however, she is shocked to see how hard she hit the wall. this bit was so relatable i could have written it. i too have trouble expressing anger, and it is also that foreign to me that i would think others looking on would think 'wth is that skinny girl trying to do there, ooh so scary with those skinny little arms'. then she shares a scene of her, her friend and her husband going out for a bike ride. halfway through she starts to get red and sweaty because they take a shortcut through a forest where the terrain is uneven. when her friends make it to the asphalt bit eventually, they wait for her, greeting her with warm smiles. she realises no matter how red and sweaty she gets, her people don't care. 'my eyes welled with tears. I wanted to cry out "Thank you!" What a joy life can be in this body.' this moment was also really cute for me, because i too have had moments like that when i realise that all the worrying i'd done about my appearance on a certain day didn't matter because i got to share moments with people i loved, regardless of how much i'd judged myself earlier.

all in all, this book is very relatable and i can't wait to reread parts of it whenever i decide to pick up again. it captures the female experience really well, or at least it did for me. i doubt any of the men who have treated her badly will read this book and, if they do, i doubt they will get it. but that's the point: peace, with our bodies and ourselves, our control and our power, is found within ourselves. society will catch up when it does.

Why are some NFTs worth millions?

Digitalization has modernized the art market, giving investors a virtual format of works. Non-fungible tokens helped transform the industry, among other things. In this article, we explain what NFT art is and whether investors should pay attention to it.

NFT is short for non-fungible tokens. Such tokens can be an image, a music track or another digital file. At the same time, each NFT is unique, which means it is of interest to collectors. Information about the ownership of the token is entered into the blockchain.

There are many points of view and answers to the question of why NFTs are expensive on the net. At the same time, there is only one universal explanation for the high prices for non-fungible tokens – the format is on the wave of hype. NFT helps to confirm the ownership of art, such as a painting. In this case, the image does not have to have a physical form in addition to the virtual one – it can be exclusively in digital format.

To make an NFT picture, it is enough to prepare the “stuffing” of the token. In this case, we are talking about an image. You can “wrap” an image into a non-fungible token format for free, for example, on the OpenSea marketplace.

Many celebrities have noticed NFT. Among them are rappers Snoop Dogg and Eminem, model Emily Ratajkowski and actress Paris Hilton.

The growing popularity of non-fungible tokens, among other things, is facilitated by social networks. For example, in January 2022, Twitter introduced functionality for installing NFTs on avatars. Many celebrities have used the new tool, including tennis player Serena Williams.

Among other factors that contribute to the growth of prices in the market of non-fungible tokens, the following can be distinguished:

Convenient format. A digital work of art is easier to buy. At the very least, you don’t have to go anywhere.

Uniqueness guaranteed. The non-fungible token format allows you to verify that you are the sole owner of an asset.

Market growth potential. The non-fungible token industry is projected to grow to $80 billion by 2025. The demand for NFTs, among other things, can support the development trend of the metaverses. Developers use non-fungible tokens to populate virtual worlds.

Many NFT collections such as Bored Ape Yacht Club and CryptoPunks have become iconic. Their developers proved to the market that the art of NFT is valuable and that you can earn money on investments in tokens.

But some members of the crypto community believe that the hype around non-fungible tokens is artificial. In their opinion, the creators of digital assets are manipulating the market.

According to users who are negative about non-fungible tokens, NFT creators manage to promote assets at high prices thanks to hype. The scheme, according to members of the crypto community, will fall apart at the moment when the market runs out of enthusiasts.

You can make money from digital art. To do this, for example, it is possible to profitably purchase non-fungible tokens at the start of sales in order to subsequently resell the asset at a higher price on a wave of hype.
