Trios You Would be in Within COD Ghosts Headcanons - (GN Teammate!Reader)

Note: These are Headcanons of what trios including you would be like.

(Includes: Elias Walker & Gabriel T. Rorke, Logan Walker & David ‘Hesh’ Walker, Keegan P. Russ & Alex V. ‘Ajax’ Johnson, Thomas A. Merrick & Keegan P. Russ and Kick & Neptune.

Elias Walker & Gabriel T. Rorke

(Pre-Federation) 

- In the past before Rorke was brainwashed, Elias, Rorke and you would indeed have been a trio. What happens in this trio? Chaos. Pure chaos, Rorke Is a stern leader, who keeps smugly bringing you and Elias into everything he does. You don't have much choice in the matter even if Rorke gives you a ‘choice’, you and Elias are going along for the ride.

- You three would be on missions together always, even if Merrick, Ajax or the others were There? You three always ended up grouping up together, sometimes separated from the group but you all always just.. pop up at the end of the missions.

- There is some funny moments involved with being in a trio with those two, like Rorke just says.. the most cursed shit (no warning involved, could just be random by just glancing at something and blurting out whatever he suddenly thought confidently with no regret no matter how cursed), Elias just looks unamused by it all and you are there either making it worse or better.

- Elias does look up to Rorke, you probably do too If you also follow his command. Rorke tries his best to be a good leader, he's confident in his skills and does try to keep his teammates, Elias and you safe.

- During battles, even if you don't need help or to be watched over by Elias or Rorke. They end up watching over you, and each other. You three always have eachothers back, but the two can end up being aggressively overbearing over the years. Such as: 

“Are you fuckin’ alive?” - Rorke would groan out over the comms everytime he loses sight of you.

“I don't know, – might be? Probably. They'll pop up sooner or later” - Elias would be quick to attempt to reassure Rorke that you were probably fine.

“Fuckin’ great. Might my ass. Get your ass over here..! The fuck you doing all the way over there!?” - Rorke when he spots you from afar, giving you a firm middle finger, wags it about so you could see it. (He won't care if he also gets enemy soldiers attention with that move either)

That's basically how conversations go, constantly. On field and off field. 

- Bar buddies, even if you don't drink. That's alright, but just enjoying each other's company. The other two are drinking but slowly. Elias drinks slower while Rorke would start slow but end up drinking faster and more throughout the night. (The walk back to base? takes hours of pure military stupidity. No common sense, just stumbling between each other giggling like children) 

(After the Federation)

- Things were never the same between you three, Elias and you drifted apart a bit, Rorke... of course wasn't himself. He hated you both but also had a deep obsession. Rorke makes snarky comments whenever he does see Elias and you, making sure you both know how you ‘betrayed’ him. Elias could never end up killing Rorke, that is his weakness, his regrets… and You? You have to watch it all.

Logan Walker & David ‘Hesh’ Walker:

- Being in a trio with these two is rough, Hesh is the leader, anything Hesh says Logan does and you follow. It's basically a big game of ‘we are doin’ this guys’

‘Sure.’ and nods in response. No questions asked.

- Play fights are a thing, off field only though. Where it's usually Hesh teasing or attempting to pick on Logan, like pushing his head down or elbowing him. Making Logan stumble into you, then you tripping over Riley and it just turns into a hectic ‘sparring’ match between you four. These are the moments Hesh enjoys most, just laughing and grinning with the people he is close with.

- You would definitely take a few road trips whenever there are no missions, it's a chaotic mess, the car volume blasting out songs, the windows rolled down all the way, snacks half open or half eaten. Riley in the back trying to ‘fight’ the wind to keep his face out the window but Hesh is driving a bit too fast so it just looks like the wind is assaulting Riley's face and making the dog do the weirdest faces. Logan gets some photos from sticking his phone out the window. 80% chance he drops his phone and you all have to take a U-turn to go get it back.

- Logan would gently bonk Your head whenever he walks by, because Hesh does the same thing to him. Even if you look un-amused, he just does it a bit harder to push your head down. Even if you start doing it back to him, it becomes a ‘battle’ of wills between you three, who could give the most head pats/head shoves. It's the way they show affection. If you don’t end up liking this habit? He just awkwardly hovers his hand over your head, like he really wants to do it, but also respects you enough to fight himself and not impulsively smack your head,

- Clothes go missing or get stolen all the time between you three, a hat? Shirts? Jackets, gloves? Any type of gear? Whatever is yours is also theirs and whatever is theirs is also yours. finding Riley flopped on top of a pile of missing belongings is the norm as Riley ensures to steal anything he could get his paws on too.

- You would get used to the way Logan and Hesh can communicate with looks, at first you would be like what the actual fuck? But over time you start understanding and using it too. The side-eyes, twitches of an eyebrow, when they bite the inside of their mouth. There are all ways to get the point across, sometimes Logan just blank stares whenever he thinks someone has said something completely stupid, like he will slowly turn to face you and just blank. Nothing across his face except a small eye glance toward the person before staring back at you and he knows you know what he's already thinking. It takes all willpower for Hesh and you to not full-blown cackle. 

Keegan P. Russ & Alex V. ‘Ajax’ Johnson

- Keegan ‘can't’ drive, Ajax can (Safer Option). But somehow, Keegan always ends up driving, you end up in the backseat and Ajax holding onto the car handle for dear life in the passenger seat. Ajax always, doesn't matter how many times he has been in the car with Keegan, glances back at you with a look that says are we seriously letting Keegan drive? Yes. You three end up surviving, Keegan can drive but it is also hell depending on the time of day and the mission. Keegan is relaxing when you and Ajax are having the adrenaline rush of your lives. 

You can't even suggest someone else drive as Keegan puts his attention on you instead of the road. Looking at you offended while Ajax grabs the wheel because Keegan is too busy giving you a nasty look with a raised eyebrow. Are you really suggesting he can't drive? He can drive, you want him not to drive? He's hands are off the wheel. But he laughs and puts them back when Ajax smacks him for that and he will go back to driving. No one brings up Keegan’s driving skills after that as Keegan… Doesn't seem to care how dangerous it is when he ‘stops’ driving suddenly. (But he does do his best to keep you all safe, even if he drives crazily he still knows what he is doing despite scaring you and Ajax)

- Have you ever seen two grown men (+ you) cuddle? Now you have. Ajax, you and Keegan probably have known each other for a long time, it started with Ajax and Keegan just sharing a bed. Keegan taking the cold side alone, Ajax not minding where he sleeps but it started off like this, You somehow joined at the right time and now it’s just the norm to sleep in the same bed. Even if it's not always cuddling (Keegan likes his personal space, Ajax wouldn’t mind though as long as you're not being overbearing). Keegan’s leg always sneaks over the two of you during the night anyway, like he's trying to ensure you're still there with him. This tactical sleeping habit ensures no enemy will suddenly take you three out (That’s what Keegan says anyway. You three end up referring to this as tactical sleeping habit in front of others, and never once do you all admit to what this actually means.) (Everyone else just assumes you three just never let your guards down and actually have tactical sleeping habits to ensure your safety, but nah its just the homies sharing a bed)

- Keegan randomly shit-talks people, just randomly shows up between you and Ajax he would be quiet for a moment, a pause of a moment to wait for either of you to notice him. When neither of you two notice him, he just starts talking about some stupid shit he saw a rookie do. Ajax usually listens along and maybe does encourage Keegan to keep going, because when Keegan starts complaining, he usually comes up with unique and hilarious insults that Ajax loves to hear. You are usually dragged right in between them because they also want to hear what you think and if you would also join the shit-talking.

- Pats. Pats are a big thing between Ajax, Keegan and you. Ajax walks past you or Keegan, you'll be on the receiving end of a back pat from him to just silently let you know he is there. Keegan would nudge the butt of his weapon against your upper back as he walks past or his knuckles brushing your lower back. Its juet small touches like these that you three would exchange often.

- They also head to the bar often, if you don't drink that's alright with them, you can be their ride home because they get absolutely hammered. It starts off easy, then Ajax makes a bet that he could do more shots than Keegan, then it gets competitive then you're hauling both their asses back to base at the end of the night.

- Ajax used to drag Keegan home for the holidays, knowing Keegan didn’t have a place for himself. He ended up seeing you at base one year before they left and dragged you along. You and Keegan end up meeting Ajax’s family and are invited every year until… Ajax dies. Sometimes after his death, Keegan and you would still visit to pay your respects and care for Ajax’s family despite the fact Keegan always turns down invitations to join the family get-to-together, he feels like it wouldn't be right to join when he 'let' Ajax die in his arms. (:Sorry)

Thomas A. Merrick & Keegan P. Russ

- Honestly? It's Merrick who is the most protective in this trio, he doesn't stand by someone trying to start shit with you or Keegan, he will just put his own body in front of yours or Keegans if he thinks you are in some sort of danger/trouble. 

- Keegan is a silent protector, he has yours and Merrick's back, always. No issues for him, he simply always ensures that you're both cared for under his watchful eye.

- Merrick always calls for you or Keegan to do tasks, he knows the other Ghosts could do it, but he relies on you both the most because he just knows he could always trust your judgment/calls. It's his first instinct to call for either Keegan or you.

- Merrick does take Keegan with him on holidays (Especially after Ajax's death). (Whoever said Merrick is definitely a widower I agree so much. I'm sorry I can't remember/find where I first saw the Headcanon). But yes, Merrick usually brings Keegan with him, and he would invite you along as well. Usually takes you both out for breakfast, or a small trip just the three of you. Merrick refuses to let you or Keegan pay for a thing, he just waves a hand at you and shrugs you off if you even attempt to while he pulls out his wallet.

- Picnics. Definitely between the three of you, just taking a moment to yourselves away from the constant chaos that is your lives. It usually just happens in silence, after a few hours. You would be laid in the grass together watching the sun set, then stargaze. During these rare moments of silence, it’s just you three. A rare moment of happiness just you three share, while Merrick calls out whatever constellations he could spot. Even moves his hand infront of your eyes to lead your eyes to also seeing it. Keegan ends up pointing out a few he knows from the last time you guys did this, making sure to remember whatever Merrick points out. 

Kick & Neptune

- Kick is the chaotic one in the trio, Neptune the blunt no bullshit guy and you? Are you along for a chaotic ride with these two?

- They will also judge others together. If you are not around they wait for you just to spill any dirt (they find alot of things on people that they shouldn’t know) they dug up on a poor soul.

- They definitely have some intel/technology talks. (Even if you can or cannot fathom what they are talking about). They don't mind to much, well Kick would try and explain it (if you can't understand still he tries again.. and Again.. and again) Neptune would just sip his coffee in the background listening, doesn't even offer his input even if he could help You understand.

- I can't think of anything of these two as they aren't very known but I just wanted to let you all know that I wanted to add them anyway.

Hugging Headcanons (COD Ghosts x GN! Reader)

TW: Rorke. Mentions of the canon Ghosts ending, illusions to torture (nothing graphic)

David "Hesh" Walker

As we all know, Hesh is very, very open with his emotions. Both negative and positive, it's very easy to see what he's feeling at a glance.

Which means he is also very open to tell you how he feels for you (after months of pining and annoying Logan about it. Who was ready to spill his brothers secret for him, just so he could have one night without hearing about you)

Not only tells you how much he loves you, but also shows it through his hugs.

Normally quite goofy, a lot of times ending in you laughing while pushing against his chest. Trying to create space between the two of you as he only pulls you tighter.

You two also have your fair share of serious, loving hugs when the moment calls for it.

Loves watching you jump then immediately relax when he surprises you and hugs you from behind. Has almost gotten nailed right in the nose for it though.

Will hug you everywhere and anywhere that it's safe. No regard for who's watching, or your surroundings (the exception being if the surroundings/situation is dangerous)

Hesh has developed the habit of seeking you out when he needs a pick me up. Especially when his head gets a little too loud, and life becomes a bit overwhelming.

Maybe it's the feeling of security when he's wrapped up in you, but he finds it easier to deal with his emotions when being held by you. These moments seem to help him find clarity in his thoughts, and help him gain new perspective.

Especially when he's dealing with problems or topics he feels hopeless and lost about.

Hesh is just all around more level headed when he can hold you and slow his brain down for a few minutes.

Keegan Russ

He's antisocial, appreciates having a decent amount of personal space. So 1 of 2 things happens:

If you're like him, and don't particularly like people being too close. He respects it, and finds it rather endearing watching the journey of you getting a little bit closer to him each day. To the point where standing beside one another comfortably is the norm.

If you're not like him, and love being up close and personal he'll eventually form a soft spot for you. Initially gets annoyed, but holds back the attitude because he does like having you around. But maybe over there.

Don't ask me why, but I get the vibe that while he wants to hug you sooner, he doesn't. For what reason? Nobody, including himself can figure that one out.

The first hug would be work related. Whether that be a heroic "oh shit" moment where he's doing something like the clichè cover your body with his. Except far less dramatic (nobody got hurt).

Or a way to not get caught when trying to go undercover.

No, those aren't 2 Ghosts. Just a couple of overgrown teenagers loving up on one another in that dark alley. It's fine.

After that first time however, he's hugging you during every quiet moment the two of you have together.

If you're shorter than him, he's going to rest his chin on your head and hold you tight into his chest. He always feels like you're this delicate thing that needs to be protected within his embrace (even though you're not and would likely chew him out if he ever said that out loud).

If you're the same height or taller -- he loves pressing his face into your neck. It brings him unlimited comfort doing this, but he'll deny it to no end if anyone asks.

Thomas Merrick

Another guy that gives me bear hug vibes (like Price). Not overly obnoxious, but if the situation or mood calls for it he's holding you tight and considering the idea of not letting go.

Otherwise very casual with keeping physical touch. Arm around your shoulders or waist when you're sitting next to one another or walking together.

While very private about his personal life, he unconsciously wants to keep in some form of physical contact with you.

Has totally done that thing where he rests his cheek on your head, just relishing in the moment.

Especially on long rides back to whatever destination. He's gotten a couple curious looks from the newest Ghosts for this (in his defense, Logan did think it was adorable. Hesh ruined it by showing his clear confusion because Merrick's a softie?!)

They were promptly shut down by one of the other guys giving them a look of warning. Just let the man have his small moments of peace....in peace.

Call him old fashioned, but he loves when he can hold you close and slowly dance with you. Music is totally optional.

He may or may not have imagined the two of you like this on your wedding day (if marriage is in the cards for you two).

While he can come off as hot headed, and loyal/defensive to a fault (literally slamming Hesh into a wall for stepping up at Keegan) I want to say he's actually fairly laid back at home. If he needs to step in and ensure you're okay, he will in a heartbeat.

But otherwise? Totally content just lounging around with you in his arms.

Merrick also appreciates when he's the little spoon. Or being hugged from behind. Something about the feeling warms his heart in ways he can't (and won't) describe.

Logan Walker

In the beginning, you're going to have to initiate most of the hugs. While he loves them, he overthinks it too much and talks himself out of it.

Loves (and I mean LOVES) being hugged by you. Everything in the world just lines up during the time he's being held by you. Nothing bad can happen to him when you're hugging him.

The first time he hugged you (was a "from behind hug" where he rested his chin on your shoulder) you could've swore your heart might've exploded.

His confidence eventually progresses to greeting you (when appropritate, nobody dying for hugs here) with a hug and forehead kiss becoming the norm.

Hear me out on this, beach date with Logan. Hanging out by the water when he hugs you from behind....then promptly dunks you both under the water.

He'd be fully clothed and dripping wet with you, but would have such a mischievous smile on his face for the rest of the day.

That was the most fun I've had in a long time. He would tell you later that day, waiting for the sun to dry you both off.

Little does he know you're probably plotting his revenge.

Post-capture, this would be one of the first things he finds to come back naturally. They wiped most of his mind and memory, but the feeling of you in his arms and vice versa seems to be ingrained in his muscles.

Even when the world becomes a bit too much for him to handle, the comfort of your hugs grounds him and wipes his mind for a second

Elias Walker

Throwing him in here to say it would only happen under 3 circumstances:

1). You become like a third child to him

2). You are in desperate need of some familial comfort

3). You were almost seriously injured/killed on a mission and thank God you're okay. Remember how he pushed Merrick off Hesh in the helicopter scene and immediately went to calm Hesh down? I'm thinking that kind of vibe.

I don't know, he's the dad of the game and I like the idea that Mama Walker was his soulmate. He has no interest in filling that role. He's content with his sons and team filling his heart

No matter what situation causes the chain reaction leading to a hug -- it's filled with comfort and understanding.

Like hugging a parent who truly cares, and wants the best for you. Leaves your conscience feeling lighter and your soul a little warmer

Gabriel Rorke

If you're on hugging tier with this man, you're special. Like....extremely special to him.

Maybe it's my overtired brain (that initiated this idea), but I could see you being the one and only tie he has left to life pre-federation (like with Logan - the feeling of holding you and being held is muscle memory. It evokes an unconscious reaction within him).

If you were by his side on the Federation:

He'd seek you out for some form of comfort, especially after capturing Logan and starting that process. No matter how brainwashed he is and hellbent on revenge, he knows first hand how terrible the conditioning process is.

For a kid he's never met, he feels horrible for doing this to him. But duty calls and you gotta do what you gotta do.

Especially on nights when he can't get the sound of the screams and agony out of his head...and his body aches in the same way it did years prior -- he seeks you out. Relishes in the feeling of you holding him and helping him forget about the atrocities.

If you're not part of the Federation with him:

I feel like you two would cross paths in the battlefield. Which would go 1 of 2 ways:

1). You get spared, he can't quite place the details but he recognizes you as someone vastly important in his life. All he wants in exchange for your freedom is a hug -- because apparently those were really important to him at one point before all this

2). You don't get spared. Again, some part of him screams and deep dives to try and remember who you are. Details are blurry or redacted within his head; but acting on instinct he pulls you close. Despite everything, you get your last moments alive in the arms of someone you once loved.

Romantically sharing a bed with the Ghosts

I wrote a platonic version, and so, why not a romantic version? Enjoy the fluff ;))

Logan Walker:

Once the two of you are alone and it's only one bed, you can bet he'll drop all his stuff and tackle you into the bed

He's tired, but has enough energy to tackle you

"Hey!" you exclaim, giggling, and he just stuffs his face in your chest, happily hugging you

Holds you like a koala and doesn't let go

He doesn't let you change into comfortable clothes, and neither does he change; he's already asleep

You just smile and run your hand through his hair before falling asleep yourself.

David 'Hesh' Walker:

Gets in bed first and opens his arms to you

"Come here." He doesn't have to say it twice. You're already crawling in bed and laying your head on his chest

He puts his arms around you and gives you a squeeze.

As you fall asleep, you can hear him softly singing a song and rubbing his thumb on your cheek

He is warm and cozy like a hot chocolate on a cold wintry day, you feel so safe with him

He gives you a kiss on your forehead <3

Thomas Merrick:

He's used to sleeping alone, and so sharing a bed with you is always a pleasure

He sees you laying on the bed, and he carefully gets in.

"Hey Tommy," you giggle when you see him and you open your arms out for him to come closer. He rolls his eyes. "Don't call me that," he says, but moves closer to you.

He wraps his burly arm around you and pulls you close, careful not to put his weight on top of you and accidentally crush you in the process

He rubs your back and your hair to lull you to sleep.

You gratefully give him a peck on his lips and you hear him shyly grumble

Keegan Russ:

"Why are you so far away? Come closer," he demands. Clingy man. He doesn't like being even 2 meters away from you.

If you don't close the gap, he will.

He'll spoon you and bury his face in your neck, giving it a couple kisses before falling asleep in your hair.

At some point at night, he will put his leg over your hip

You gotta be careful not to let him crush you under his weight

Kick:

Normally a bit frisky but when he's dead tired, he's just adorable

"Sleeeepy," he whines and then proceeds to get tangled up in bed with you

Has you in a vice grip like he's a cobra around a mouse and you have to beg him to loosen up so you can breathe

Holds you like you're a body pillow

Will drool over you so be careful lol

Alex 'Ajax' Johnson:

He has you sleeping on top of him, wanting you to use him as your personal bed

He loves having your weight on top of him

He gets to hug you like you're his teddy bear

If he does need to switch positions after some time, he'll make sure to move you very gently so as to not wake you up

When he sees you fall asleep, he has to fight off his cuteness aggression and his urge to punch a wall to feel manly again because of how cute you look asleep

Elias 'Scarecrow' Walker:

Elias likes to have his face in your chest (Logan has to get it from somewhere), arms around your waist, and your legs around his hips.

Halfway through the night, he'll make sure it's your turn to lay on his chest.

Loves to rub your back, your shoulders, run his fingers through your hair-- just loves giving you gentle massages. It's soothing to you and to him.

You can be sure you'll find his hand under your shirt, rubbing your bare back and your waist. He likes some skin-to-skin.

He's your personal whisper ASMRtist. Expect sweet nothings and him grumbling a quiet "good girl"

BONUS - Gabriel Rorke:

Cannot keep his hands off you once you two are in bed.

He'll pull you to his chest and have his arm around you, rubbing your arm and your shoulder

If you can't sleep, he'll begin to talk to you in excruciating detail about some science or military related topic until it bored you to sleep

He's a chill cuddler, not too clingy, but just enough to let you know he loves and wants physical closeness with you

When you're asleep, he'll gaze at you admiringly like you're a work of art and then give you a tender kiss, either on your forehead or your cheek

Silly/stupid/sweet domestic living headcannons for the Ghost Boys

Hesh

-watches you sleep in the mornings before you wake up. not creepily so, he just likes seeing you so relaxed and peaceful

-takes a ridiculous amount of time in the bathroom for various reasons. not even in a weird/sexual manner, just fuckin lingers in there like a teenage girl primping her hair

-enjoys sweeping for no reason. will sweep again even if one of you already has, very clean man

Logan

-sits on counter tops regularly, doesn’t care that he’s 6’0 & built like a brick wall. if he fits, he sits

-has the time management skills of a goldfish. “I’m coming to bed in 15 minutes” half an hour later and he’s building a Lego set?

-enjoys watching your skincare routines and will silently beg for you to slather the shit on his face too. eventually he’ll ask directly but until then he just gives totally subtle puppy dog eyes

Elias

-has a recliner he’s bonded with in the living room like the old coot he is. and you’ll never talk him out of getting rid of it

-has bought you a pair of house slippers to match his. yours are probably cuter but he does secretly want to at least coordinate

-will loiter when you’re doing any kind of hobby/activity. doesn’t necessarily want to join, but will stand behind you and watch you play video games/craft/bake/etc

Merrick

-terrible farts. that’s it. wear a gas mask tbh

-snores so loud that you have to wear earplugs sometimes. doesn’t help that he likes to cuddle at night so you can quite literally feel him vibrating against you. best cuddler though

-has a decanter full of whiskey on his bedside table. not even a big drinker or anything, no, that’s just decoration to him cause he’s distinguished

Keegan

-asks you to help shave his beard, both because he gets lazy but also he wants to be pampered. “You do it better” he’ll insist

-secretly enjoys you having to ask for help with little things around the house. he loves ‘being a man’ for you. does not matter your gender

-sleeps on one old, flat, mangy pillow. it may or may not even have a case on it. you can try to get him to return to civilization and use a normal one but it’ll be difficult

Kick

-sings loudly in the shower on purpose. maybe it’s to make you laugh, maybe it’s to get you in the bathroom long enough to convince you to join him. depends on the day

-uses so many seasonings when he cooks that he sneezes a bunch. wears his mask sometimes to just prevent it all together

-whines for neck/back rubs cause he’s so sore. insists he’ll return the favor but not before he falls asleep on you

Rorke

-loves you sitting on his lap anytime of day. watching tv, eating breakfast, etc etc? he’ll perch you up on his thighs regardless, doesn’t matter to him

-grunts every time he stands up like the old man he is. “knees ain’t what they used to be”, “gahdamn, backs killin me” are frequent phrases

-constantly turning the thermostat down to make it colder, can’t stand the heat from outside getting in. insists it’s not that cold and only relents when you start to shiver

Ajax

-puts animal planet/nature docs on to fall asleep. says he just wants to watch something more relaxed before bed but he never turns it off

-very anal about shoes being taken off at the front door. will bitch and moan if shoes get past the foyer while on someone’s feet

-like your mother on a Saturday morning, is up at the ass crack of dawn listening to Celine Dion while cleaning

So I just realized that Hesh is a slang term in surf and skate culture meaning gritty, rebellious, and somewhat unkempt. Also used to describe someone who's into heavy metal. And it makes me think of all the surfer posts I see on here about the boys, but I can totally see them being kinda rebellious against their parents growing up. Like Elias probably found Hesh and Logan's weed stash once, but he wasn't even shocked about it.

And they most definitely smoked during camping trips, and Elias probably smells it on them, too. He lowkey be over it because he's about to get shipped out and he's probably letting his boys enjoy their freedom til they enlist.

He's been wanting you to slowly intertwine with him, starting out with what seems simple to the one who ignores subtle details. He swears he looses his mind when you loose the nickname and let his name slip from your lips. You're slowly carving him as you move with him, he swears your hips do things to him. The sensation of colliding into him is like a cyanide he wants no one else to indulge in, because it surely keeps him high. Pierce his heart with whatever spear you want, he would do whatever to keep your etched deep into his chest, carve yourself a home within him. He's already done it to your body in a much loving way than others.

༢ུ Logan, the man to reach into your chest and pull your heart out only for him to admire. He'll hold you over his body, balancing your heaving body as you're out of breath, just for him to admire what he's done to you. As his eyes trail your body, sure there's passion but oh so soft and aphrodisiacal. Don't deny him anything of yours, he's drinking you all in, he's consuming you with devotion. Love is a word with such a broad definition and interpretation that is never clear, so he'll portray it his way. And when he leans in, your heart sways this way and that, making you stay in this state of constant haze that just interprets all his actions as affectionate, his charm as alluring as the moon's light. You think they're translucent and showing of every honest emotion, but you don't know the coldness they show when those who cross his field of vision when gazing at you are at the power of his hands.

༢ུ Elias makes it very clear, and there's no excusing his actions. He just never knows when he crosses the line, why would you ever want to place boundaries? There's no "love", one doesn't love gently nor with soft caresses, it's raw, it's ugly and filthy and you hate the aftertaste. The phantom feeling of his hand on your neck is palpable, as if always there, it's so strong he's almost demanding with your love, but you feel as if deep down he looks at you with clouded, flaming eyes. What you don't know is the hand that feels your throat could be tighter, but even in violence there is a certain gentleness, almost a mercy he grants to you that he doesn't show to all the other poor victims of his. You could never leave him, you wouldn't want to be alone and in the dark when you could be safe in his bed, burrowing your head in his chest as he reminds you what you wouldn't ever experience with any other person no matter how winded it leaves you afterwards, it's tantalizing. He breathes in every shaky breath that leaves your lips as his impatient hands palm every part of you. He knows just where to prod and push, leaving you feeling hot to the touch, so much that when in the presence of others, just his eyes following you makes you cross your legs and sharply inhaling.

Okay, angst time regarding Mrs. Walker, wife of Elias and mother of David and Logan.

What if Mrs. Walker was also in the military with Elias and was killed in action?

What if the main reason why David and Logan joined wasn’t just because of Elias and the Federation but also because they wanted to follow in their mom’s footsteps as well and bring justice to the world in honor of her? Making her proud.

Also, if she was in the military, what do you think she would be?

I almost want to think combat medic for some reason. Probably because of when Logan got stabbed in the chest near the beginning of the game and David ran in saying “Shit, you’re bleeding” and was checking him over and everything. What if he learned about the importance of understanding how to stop a bleeding wound or how to care for wounds because of their mom’s occupation? Like her job made him realize how he could help his comrades and civilians until they’re able to get to a medic.

Bro doesn't like anyone here he is just sticking to his daddy and hesh, well i mean as a social he doesn't like them or not caring about them.

but the reason he would not like you is because you are reckless and logan is all about discipline and precision.

He started knowing that when you charge into a room without checking corners and dude really got annoyed.

it got nearly killed for both of you but logan managed to save your live and his, Then he gave you that look screams "get a job".

Logan is a calculated, quiet soldier who thrives on efficiency. If you’re impulsive, sloppy, or too loud, it would frustrate him. He might see you as someone who doesn’t respect the seriousness of the mission.

but honestly he just got away from you only sitting next to hesh like everyday you will find him there

he is a silent judger Logan’s not one to vocalize his dislike openly. Instead, he’d give you subtle signs—cold stares, no nod of acknowledgment when you’re around.

You’d feel like an outsider just because of how much he doesn’t engage. His silence would sting more than words.

I don't think he would be mean to you with words and beinf harash but at the base If you sit at the same table during downtime, Logan gets up and moves somewhere else without saying a word in case you wanna talk to him and he doesn't want to.

The only "conversation" you might get from him is a blank stare when you ask for help with your gear.

Hesh walker:

Oh man he is the opposite from logan he will be open with his comments on you

the reason is because you don't take his order seriously or challenging him like i see him like this

he is a lieutenant how dare you not listening to him but listening to merrick's orders.

Hesh is loyal to his family and the team, and he expects everyone to respect the chain of command.

If you question leadership, brush off directives, or act like a know-it-all, Hesh would get heated fast.

maybe you have this audacity to argue with your teammates about a job or a patrol, it wasn't your time for a patrol so you got mad and start arguing " I don't understand i did this 4 time already in the same damn location!"

which lead hesh to snap “We don’t have time for your ego! Do your job, or I’ll find someone who will.” calm down bby

he wouldn't hold back his frustration but he would mask it with sarcasm

"look who finally decided to show up! Did you actually bring ammo this time, or should I do your job too?" bitch

He’d complain about you to the others when you’re not around, but it would always come back to you somehow.

Hesh throws constant jabs at your performance.“Wow, you actually hit something this time. Let me guess, blind luck?”

at the base he finds every opportunity to one up you If you’re telling a story about a killstreak, he’ll interrupt with, “Pfft, that’s nothing. Last week, I cleared a whole building solo.”

he would not like you no he is not that emotional type man.

the reason is your lack discipline or don’t meet his expectations.

he want someone to be trusted in the team and he doesn't find this in you maybe you got nervous or something but he doesn't really care.

As a leader, Elias demands excellence. If you’re not pulling your weight, making mistakes under pressure, or putting the team at risk, Elias would start seeing you as a liability.

You botch an important mission step, forcing the squad to improvise. Afterward, Elias says, “You need to decide if you want to be part of this team. Because right now, I don’t see it.”

he is giving the disappointed dad vibe As the squad leader, Elias would make his disappointment known without outright hostility.

“You’re not giving me much to work with here. This team relies on everyone pulling their weight.” whatever you say daddy

He’d put you on blast in front of the others but in a way that feels more like a father scolding their kid.

He’d constantly put you on remedial tasks or double-check everything you do. You’d feel like you’re being babysat.

I see elias is harash in his training i mean look at hesh and logan they didn't become this skillful that easy it was elias wild training.

So Elias doesn’t hesitate to use you as bait just to toughen you up.“You’re fast, right? Go flush them out, and we’ll cover you.” then leaving you scrambling for survival.

Elias constantly gives you extra drills to "improve."“You’re staying behind. Practice clearing that room until you can do it without screwing up. The rest of us have real work to do.”

Even if you complete the drills, he finds something wrong with your execution.

Keegan russ:

He won't show it too but he will mask it with sarcasm too especiall with his short comments that made you wanna tackle him to the ground and fight him

the reason: You’re not dependable, or you’re too emotional.Keegan values professionalism esp in the ghosts team and doesn’t tolerate people who let emotions cloud their judgment.

If you hesitate under fire, panic, or fail to stay focused, Keegan would see you as a weak link.

you blowed the cover with a noise you made accidentally he doesn't yell he would just go with “Next time, stay quiet. Or don’t come at all.” coldly.

Keegan is the cold, no-nonsense type, so he’d probably flat-out ignore you.

If you mess up, you’d get that icy glare that says “You’re lucky I don’t deal with you right here.”

He’d keep his interactions with you strictly professional and minimal, using only hand signals or one-word commands.

he is all about manipulatescretly like If you’re in danger, he’d hesitate just long enough to make you sweat before helping he just want you to know you're dealing with danger.

polishes his weapons near you but doesn’t say a word. If you ask him a question, you get a curt, dismissive response.“What ammo works best with the MK14?”

“The kind that hits the target. Try it sometime.”

“We need to breach on three. the walkers—you’re with me. y/n, just hang back and don’t get in the way.” BITCH??😭😭

Thomas merrick:

You haven’t earned his respect Merrick is a seasoned veteran who respects competence and loyalty above all. If you’re new, inexperienced, or overconfident.

Merrick might see you as someone who needs to prove themselves first—and he won’t go easy on you.

You try to take the lead during a mission, and it goes south. Merrick pulls you aside afterward:“You want to lead? Earn it. Until then, know your place.”

Merrick is a no-BS guy. If he doesn’t like you, he’ll tell you to your face.“You’re a liability. If you want to stay on this team, you’d better step up, or you’re out.”

Merrick would constantly test you, setting you up for challenges to prove yourself, but his standards would be brutally high.

He’d always keep an eye on you, but not out of trust—more to make sure you don’t screw things up.

Merrick makes his disdain clear during mission briefings.“Stick to the basics, y/n. Don’t overthink it, and for God’s sake, don’t try to be a hero.”

If you lag behind, he turns around, arms crossed, and barks, “Move your ass, or I’ll leave you to catch up!”

Merrick has zero patience for your questions.“Why didn’t you clear the room faster earlier?” you stood up facing him

“Because you didn’t do your damn job. Next question.”

He doesn’t sugarcoat anything and frequently suggests you’re not Ghost material.

Kick:

You don’t adapt quickly or fail to learn from mistakes. Kick is efficient and prefers to stay out of drama.

If you repeatedly make the same mistakes, don’t take advice, or need constant hand-holding, Kick would lose patience with you.

he would start thinking how the hell you're in this team.

You forget to secure your gear before a mission, slowing down the squad. Kick shakes his head and mutters “Do I have to double-check everything you do?”

he is quite Reluctantly Helpful One, Kick is more on the reserved side, so he wouldn’t waste time expressing dislike.

He’d just do what needs to be done but with zero enthusiasm when it comes to working with you.

If you’re in trouble, you’d probably hear him mutter, “Of course, it’s you again.” But begrudgingly, he’d come through—just enough to keep you alive without making it feel like he cares.

Kick rarely speaks but makes his feelings known in other ways. For example, if you’re pinned down and yelling for cover fire, Kick shoots in the opposite direction first—just to make you sweat.

If you accidentally throw a grenade too close, Kick shakes his head and mutters, “Unbelievable.”

Kick avoids you but makes his annoyance clear when forced to interact.“Fix your weapon yourself. What are you gonna do in the field, call for me to hold your hand?” please do

If you’re paired with him during training, he sighs heavily every time you mess up.

once you tried to be kind with him finding a hard disc drive for his computer so he can plug it.

COD Sexuality HCs for Gay Month

• David Hesh Walker: Had a homophobic moment in middle school for sureee. I think he's only ever dated women, but is in some capacity attracted to men too. It's just really repressed. He's gotten over his homophobia when it applies to other people, but not when it applies to himself, ya get me?

• Logan Walker: Bisexual. Sweet bisexual man. That's all. He came out to Hesh when they were younger, and that was what Hesh needed to turn around his attitude about queer people.

• Elias Walker: I hate this bitch. I think he's either straight, or he's very closeted. Like, he had an affair with a man when he was on deployment, but he refuses to acknowledge that, and is probably outwardly homophobic because of his own insecurities about liking men. Which is why I think Hesh would struggle so much with his own sexuality (have you seen how much he looks up to his dad?)

• Keegan Russ: Listen. This may be controversial, I may be projecting, or just desperate for representation, however, I do get aro-ace vibes from him. Demiromantic and Ace maybe. Not sex repulsed, though, he'll take it when it's offered. As for gender preference, I don't think he gives a shit. He doesn't label himself. He just exists. (Also for the record I think he had a thing for Ajax. I don't think it went anywhere, but I think he harbored some affections for the guy.)

• Thomas Merrick: He was in the Navy, nuff said. Kidding, I do think he's gay though. Couldn't tell you why, he just gives me those vibes and I'm gay so I'm right. He gives me cool gay uncle that rides a Harley vibes and I absolutely love that for him.

• Alex Ajax Johnson: We really don't know much about Ajax, except that he was close with Keegan (they served in the corps together pre-tf stalker). He's also just a fucking badass lmfao. I have so much respect for Ajax, and I really wish we could have seen more of him. I'm tempted to say he's pan. I don't think gender really factors into it for him. Much like Keegan, I don't think he's interested in labels. He doesn't talk about it. It's not a big deal for him. The type to off handedly mention his boyfriend if he had one like it was no big deal.

How I think COD GHOSTS Characters Would Sleep/Sleep next to you (GN - Teammate!Reader)

Note: This is like awkward coworker things. As if being forced to share a bed, not really romantic or anything, so it's platonic but could be for anyone. Just my thoughts on how these characters would react/act to this type of situation.

Includes; Elias Walker, David ‘Hesh’ Walker, Logan Walker, Keegan P. Russ, Thomas A. Merrick, Kick and Riley

Elias Walker:

- He does an awkward little ‘I'm just gonna scootch in right here’ murmur as he lays down on one side of the bed. A pillow between you two as he crosses his arms over his chest to sleep.

- He's dead asleep before you even touch your pillow, and he snores… loudly. Like loud. And he can sleep in any position. His time in the military trained him for anything. Even if you take up most of the bed, he can hang his legs half off it and still stay asleep.

- He ends up sleeping with a pillow over his eyes, his arm would keep it in place, it lowkey looks like he suffocated himself, but nah, he's fine. Somehow, he just sleeps like that just to ‘block everything out’ for no specific reason. (But hey it blocks out his snores half the time)

- Elias doesn't really shift or move once he's asleep, he just stays very still, you might assume he's dead every time You wake up through the night.

- Elias is the ‘right’ temperature during the night, he's always very warm, not too cold or not too hot. If you're cold, he's willing to simply offer you all the blankets, or if you're hot he wouldn't mind taking the blankets for himself.

- Elias tries to be mindful of what you want or need, you could just wake him up if you need to, just let him know if you need something. Like you want a cup of water? He would get up out of bed to go get you one.

David ‘Hesh’ Walker:

- Surprisingly, Hesh doesn't snore, but he does like grunt or groan when he sleeps whenever he shifts over or when Riley hops onto him/the bed to sleep with you both.

- He isn't very awkward if you two know each other ‘well enough’ but if you two don't? He's as stiff as a board, glancing at you every few minutes as if to ensure that this was okay, are you comfortable? He's not comfortable.

- Hesh puts a pillow between the two of you at the beginning of the night, but half way through he ends up holding that pillow, cuddling up to it just to have something to hold. 

- He spawls out when he sleeps, unlike Elias he shifts around alot, moving his body when he's too hot, to find the colder areas of the bed. Hesh is like a human-heater while asleep and you being in the bed next to him doesn't help.

- If you need something he will begrudgingly go get it for you, he would grumble or be sassy about it though. Only for your first ask, if he gets in bed and you ask him for another thing? He's not getting up till morning unless it's important.

Logan Walker: 

- He snores, despite being deadly silent throughout the whole day, he snores like his father. Very loud, Like put him and Riley in a room together overnight and Hesh would refuse to sleep near them.

- Logan would just opt to stay awake, silently staring at the ceiling as you sleep next to him. He reflecting his life, like he does every night. His hands grasped together on his lower stomach as he doesn't even move. 

- You might get curious and glance up because you don't even hear or see him breath, get jumpscared by his eyes being wide open as he ‘reflects’ or he also just sleeps with his eyes open somehow. Like half open, his eyes don't even fully close as he got into a ‘habit’ when he was young. (It scared the shit out of Elias and Hesh constantly when he was young, Elias would always just..  close his eyes at night, so he didn't have to see it or put a sleep mask on him)

- Logan isn't aware of this habit either, you try and smack him awake, and he wakes up but confused thinking you just smacked him for no reason, even if you try and explain it to him, he just waves it off.

- Logan’s freezing during the night, he ends up accidentally stealing the blanket a handful of times from you. You may need to yank it back over yourself or he just wouldn't notice your silent suffering or your annoyance.

- Logan isn't a fan of getting woken up, he would give you a side eye as he grunts if you ask for something.. unless it's very needed, he won't be moving. Claims his legs asleep just for him to forget about your request and fall back asleep.

Keegan P. Russ: 

- He's an asshole, puts his cold feet over you, never in a pattern, but just does it, even wakes you up with just putting his feet on you.

- He can sleep anywhere, Any position, any time. Give him five minutes and he'll be dead asleep.

- Suffers from nightmares, so he might scare you awake randomly through the night when he shoots up from his sleep and accidentally almost shoves you off the bed.

- Keegan is freezing, and he knows it. Randomly places his hand on your arm or his legs over yours if you two know each other very well, he's simply smug and likes messing with you.

- If you two don't know each other he's silently there. Won't interact with you, won't touch you, won't go near you, there is two pillows between you both as if you even shift he's staring at you. He would stay awake the whole night, not trusting sleeping next to someone he doesn't know very well.

- If you do ask him for something throughout the night he tells you to “screw yourself” or a flat out “No.” before going to go get whatever you ask for within five minutes. He won't get up twice though, so if you need a handful of things just ask while he's up because he will ignore you if you ask for something else after he lays down again.

Thomas A. Merrick:

- It isn't that bad at all, Merrick's pretty respectful, makes it comfortable for you both. He'll ask if you are comfortable when you sleep side by side. If you're not? He's willing to put a pillow between you, or he might just end up sleeping on a chair if you don't want to sleep next to him.

- He will scrunch up his body uncomfortably if you ask him to sit in the chair. Merrick can somehow sleep like that, but will wake up with back pains.

- Sleeping in bed next to each other isn't even awkward, it's just the silence that is heavy, he makes sure not to touch you, or bother you. But he does snore in his sleep, and it's never continuous snoring. No it's random loud snores or snorts while he's asleep, it's like a jumpscare how random it is.

- He apologizes if you wake him up to tell him off, and does indeed sleep elsewhere if you want him to. Merrick does care about your sleep, you both being teammates, he needs you in your best conditions and if he is ruining your sleep accidentally, he's willing to sleep elsewhere.

- Merrick is nice and warm when he sleeps, he wouldn't really mind if you cuddle up to him if you two know each other well enough. He will simply put his arm under your head and hold you close. 

- If you ask him to get up from the bed to get you something, he would grumble about it under his breath but get up to go get it for you, you can do this a maximum of three times throughout the while night before he gets too agitated with you and gives you a order to just go to fucking bed.

Kick:

- Kick is.. well a difficult sleeper, he could either have great nights of sleep, or he'll continuously wake up every few hours. In turn? He wakes you up every few hours as well, he shifts, turns, throws a leg over you (you can throw it back over him or shove him off the bed, he will end up staying on the floor till the next time he wakes up through the night.).

- He also makes random noises? Like completely random, he's somehow really good at impressions while dead asleep, boots against the floor? No it's just Kick sleep talking..? conversations while he's dead asleep? It keeps you on edge the whole night, not knowing what is Kick… or what could possibly be an intruder.

- You two end up kicking eachothers feet all night long, Kick doing it too well.. kick you, randomly just attacking your feet with his own, and in retaliation you kick him back, this goes on all night. Neither of you get sleep.

- He ends up asking to hold hands with a smug look, just for his own amusement, he's trying to make this night difficult for you so he can laugh later. 

If you accept? Great, his interlocking your hands with a smug look on his face, ends up doing a death grip on your hand and he commits to the bit, he stays like that all night, even if it gets sweaty.. You'll have to fight him to get him to let go.

If You give him a side eye, tell him to shut up and get some rest, he'll be dramatic. Monologues out loud about his ‘disappointment’, makes it a point to call Keegan (if he could, Keegan might hangup or just listen to make fun of Kick next time they're on a mission together) and complain to him loudly for you to hear.

- Kick is a cool guy, not to hot or not to cold, he doesn't mind cuddling at all, he will put up a fight if you attempt to take all the blankets, if he gets none he will cuddle up to your cocooned form (if you are comfortable with that) 

- If you ask him to get up to get you something he just laughs at you and tells you hell no. Unless it's important, he's not moving from this bed until morning.

- It's actually not that awkward sharing a bed with Kick, his constant teasing, jokes and idiotic actions make it seem more like a friendly sleepover rather than awkward co-worker forced to share a bed.

Riley: 

- Riley decides to sleep in your room instead of Hesh's (after Hesh annoyed the poor dog by promising Riley to go on a walk, then forgetting due to getting back from a rough mission.) Riley ends up plopping head first into your pillow, carrying one of Logan's shirt in his mouth deciding it was his comfort item of the night.

- Riley just puts a good chunk of his weight onto you, plops his butt right to sit on you while you're asleep to attempt to wake you up. Like he will just sit like that and side eye you until you wake up and acknowledge his grand presence. 

- if you don't pet him or lay him down next to you, he gets in your personal space, like creepily stares into your closed eyes, standing over you with Logan's damn sweatshirt smacking your face until you get up or groan.. or pull Riley down to lay next to you or on you.

- Riley's tail wags when you finally wake up or acknowledge him, laying over you as you give him attention. 

- Riley does indeed quiet down after he gets what he wants, but he sprawls In his sleep.. despite being a dog, he takes up most of the bed. (It's why Hesh gets grumbley when Riley decides to take over his bed, because neither Hesh, Logan or Riley are winning whenever they share a room, as Riley makes sure to take over any bed space he could see). 

- Riley also snores, no one is sure if he's just mimicking Elias or Logan or if he really just snores really loud. Riley does indeed sometimes loudly snores when napping, you'll hear it from another room.

(Random Note; Lowkey. I want more COD GHOSTS content. more lore on Torch, Neptune, and Grim. Hell even Kick, Ajax and the OG members, Like old Task Force Stalker missions, would be so epic to know about)

i already spoke about this on discord but:

i think that logan finds a lot of comfort in wearing the mask. it provides him with a sense of anonymity. think about it: logan has lived his whole life in his father and brother’s footsteps - the latter more literally than the former. he’s never been encouraged to form an identity of his own. this, in turn, probably makes him quite insecure. what does logan like ? what does logan want ? who even *is* logan walker, if not an extension of elias and hesh ? the mask stops him having to ask himself these questions. he finds comfort in not having to worry about how he presents to the world, because the mask does that for him: he’s a ghost, that’s all anyone needs to know.

Logan Walker:

A little awkward about sharing the bed, but not against it.

Even though he's shared beds with Hesh when he was younger, he hasn't done it in a long time. And with someone of the opposite sex? It's a little awkward.

But he's not awkward in his sleep. He'd probably sleep in a starfish position, accidentally kick your back or put his leg on top of you

And maybe if he's having a nightmare, he might cuddle you for some comfort.

David 'Hesh' Walker:

Also awkward about sharing the bed but tries to hide it and plays it cool, telling himself, "it's just gonna be one night."

But he cannot keep his cool once you hit the bed next to him.

He loves cuddling but since both of you are just coworkers, he's fighting the urge so hard because he doesn't want to make you uncomfortable. He ends up not getting a wink of sleep for a couple hours

But when he does sleep, he sleeps like he's a dead body in a coffin, fingers intertwined and all, straight and tall like a soldier.

Sleeptalks sometimes, but it's just incoherent mumbling.

Elias 'Scarecrow' Walker:

He gets in bed, says "good night" and proceeds to not acknowledge you unless necessary. He is visibly embarrassed and annoyed by this arrangement, but doesn't complain about it.

He sleeps in a rather loose fetal position, tosses and turns around a lot and it keeps you awake for a while until he finally stops and falls into a deep sleep.

Tends to wedge his hand in between his knees when asleep.

Although he can sleep anywhere, he prefers a completely dark room with minimal light

If there's too much light, on goes the eye mask.

Thomas Merrick:

It's written all over his face. He's AWKWARD. But he doesn't say anything so as to not make you uncomfortable. And you don't say anything to him either.

He even offers to sleep on the floor to escape this ordeal, but you refuse and have him sleep on the bed, since it was big enough for two and you didn't want him to be uncomfortable.

He obliges and gets in bed, but makes sure he keeps plenty of space between you and him (he's at the risk of falling off the bed)

And when you tell him to chill out, he grumbles, "I'm... chill." The hip and groovy slang doesn't roll out of his Millennial tongue very well.

He eventually falls asleep facing away from you, hogging the blanket and burying himself in it like he is a worm in a chrysalis.

Big, strong guy sometimes feels like he needs some protection from the world too.

Keegan Russ:

His face is blank. He does feel awkward about it but neither his face, his voice, nor his body language betray any of what he feels.

He sets up a wall of pillows in the middle of the bed. "Neither of us are crossing this line, alright?" he says, and you nod, not planning on doing so anyway.

Both of you go to sleep. He sleeps in a tight fetal position and hugs the pillow he's sleeping on.

Another position he sleeps in is on his stomach with his knee hoisted up. He won't care if it's bad for the spine, it's comfy.

Give him a few hours and he's already disregarded his own rule, and has pushed away the pillow wall to simply press his head against your back, just to feel a little less lonely.

Kick:

Not awkward AT ALL. He actually digs this arrangement but is trying not to show it. But the amused smirk on his face blows his cover.

He sleeps very comfortably and if he's close enough friends with you and ensures you don't mind his touch, he would actually shamelessly cuddle you.

And you find his cuddling comfortable.

Sometimes sleeps like a Victorian child dying of a disease, having his hand on his head and all that

By the time it's morning, he's on the floor

Alex 'Ajax' Johnson:

Ajax genuinely doesn't care. Only one bed? He'll just shrug and go along with it. He's done this countless times.

In a way, him not caring makes you feel a little less awkward about it.

He keeps his distance from you and doesn't trouble you at all

He's an absolute madman to sleep without a blanket, and it's not just because he's used to it. It's a preference. He doesn't feel very cold.

Light sleeper. But he snores a bit.

Not a cuddler, but he wouldn't mind if you cuddled with him to keep warm.

Riley:

No awkwardness, no shame, only a little baby happy to sleep on the bed with you.

BED HOGGER!

Normally a light sleeper since he's a dog, but in complete safety, he sleeps like the dead, deep enough to dream

On hot days, he likes to lean against the headrest and sleep on his back to support his legs.

On cold days, he sleeps in a doughnut formation with his nose tucked under his tail.

He's a warm boy, loves to cuddle. Even when he needs his space, he'll make sure he keeps either his tail or his paw touching you.

He's an early riser and to wake you up, he'll either lick, paw, or nudge your face with his cold nose.

BONUS - Gabriel Rorke:

Like Ajax, he doesn't care. Once he hits the bed, he's conked out.

He has one of his legs hanging out of the bed, a nightmarish thing for a kid who might see this. You tell him jokingly, "The monster under the bed will grab your leg and drag you underneath." And he just says, "I am the monster under the bed," to assert dominance to the imaginary beasts.

Light sleeper, and sleeps on his back, arms crossed like he has a meeting to attend in 30 minutes.

He sometimes has his eyes half-open, which is kinda freaky

And being a light sleeper, you don't know whether he's asleep or awake and trolling you.

The sibling dynamic between Hesh and Logan has rotted the innards of my brain. Long ramble of me reading into this too much and probably making it personal below the cut, lol.

They’re extremely close, grow up practically codependent, at least from a certain point onward. Hesh brothers Logan in an almost fatherly way sometimes because their actual father places this responsibility on him (albeit largely unintentionally I imagine), for the literal sole fact that he’s two (2) years older than Logan. That’s it, just two. He got parentified like a lot of older siblings tend to be, purely due to circumstance of being the eldest. If Logan was older this dynamic would most likely have been the same thing. Hesh was pushed into this protector role regardless of how he feels about it.

And I wonder how it would’ve panned out had Elias tried to foster a more ‘behave as a unit’ approach rather than ‘Hesh protect Logan regardless’ type thing. Logan followed in Hesh’s footsteps (QUITE LITERALLY!) and strived to be just like him. During all their training, they “became men” together and learned how to communicate non verbally to the point where they’re near fucking telepathic.

Yes they fight together, yes Logan was there for Hesh always, “Logan has my back and I have his, we’re brothers” yes yes yes. But Hesh was damn near playing caretaker for him sometimes. From the beginning of the game we see Elias telling Hesh to look out for Logan constantly, and he continues to throughout the entire game. And at the end when Rorke drags Logan away you can hear the pain and the panic in Hesh’s voice (duh). Can see him trying to reach for him and crawl to him. From the beginning to the end, Hesh is Logan’s big brother in every sense of the word. From childhood to the moment Logan is drug off the beach, Hesh is right there with him like a guardian angel. Or more like a guard dog maybe lol. And I just wonder what difference it would’ve made if Elias didn’t force Hesh (whether he meant to or not doesn’t even matter) to shoulder the burden of not only growing up himself, but guiding Logan so heavily at the same time.

And what gets me the most about this is that Logan is just as experienced as Hesh, minus those two years that Hesh joined the army before Logan turned 18. They trained together, Rorke implied that Elias trained them a lot himself, and Logan is just as capable. Just as intelligent, prepared, skilled, etc. Yet in some parts of the game, it almost seems like his ‘baby of the family’ role follows him, despite being a skilled spec ops soldier fighting an active war, and it’s just so interesting to me. I just know this has gotta be a deep seated thing for Hesh, to have been his brothers guardian in a sense, despite only having two years on him. He was just as young and confused, just as in need of guidance, and yes Elias provided a lot of that for the both of them, but Hesh kinda had to wing it a lot I think. He didn’t have an older sibling to look up to because he IS the older sibling being looked up to.

And on the flip side, how is Logan meant to interpret that growing up, in any other way besides ‘Hesh knows more, does more, is better than me, knows better than me, etc’ type of thing? You’re being looked after by an older sibling half the time, of course you’re gonna idolize them more than a sibling might do so even in a regular/healthy circumstance. Like yea that’s his big brother and he’s gonna look up to him regardless, but you’re only two years younger being silently treated like you’re in need of this caretaking….c’mon. Elias created a dynamic in which the two of them are so codependent, that it had to have hurt Hesh on an even deeper level to lose Logan than it already would’ve. That would already be soul shattering in the first place, especially with the dogshit ass circumstances they were in, but to lose the little brother that you most definitely feel personally responsible for…? This is why I think Hesh would genuinely be tweaking the fuck out post beach.

And to add onto this ramble about Merrick becoming like a mentor to Hesh, I can see Hesh getting some actual older male guidance without the addendum of ‘also here’s this other guy you need to look out for’ being healing in a way. Dare I say Keegan/Kick would even become like an older brother figure to Hesh and kinda fill that hole, the older brother he didn’t get.

Anyways idk I’m insane about them always. You unintentionally made your sons codependent on one another, and then you die, and then one son is taken, blah blah we know what happened. I mean damn lol.

When Hesh was 17 he painted his nails different colors every 2 weeks. Elias never stopped him, he did heavily question him though. Logan asked him to paint his nails once, then proceeded to take it off 20 minutes later.
