Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm By Elemis

Review: I used this Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm by Elemis to clean my skin as my morning routine as well as to remove my makeup before bed. I love that it is super gentle on my skin. It has a slightly exfoliating effect whereby it easily removes all debris and makeup. I liked that it comes in a balm form and on contact of water, it turns into a light foam. The way to use this balm is to massage in your finger, then apply it to dry skin. Massage it and then add some warm water to create a foam. Further massage and then remove it with a damp warm cloth. This product deeply cleansed my skin. It has a spicy like scent to it, maybe like that of coriander a little bit. I would definitely recommend this balm because it was effective and freshened my skin. #ad #FreeSample

ELEMIS Cica Calm Cleansing Foam is a calming micellar cleanser that removes makeup and grime while soothing the skin leaving it to feel refreshed and balanced. This cleansing foam is infused with ingredients that have been fermented to release vitamins and nutrients that are better absorbed by the skin.

Formulated with:

- Cica is naturally rich in antioxidants and is widely known for its soothing properties

- Fermented Agave helps soothe dry skin with moisture

- Fermented Green Tea Seed Oil helps release various polysaccharides & lipids to leave the skin feeling healthy & nourished

- Kefir is derived from soy milk and has a soothing activity to leave the skin feeling calm

This cleansing foam is great for those with sensitive skin, acne prone skin, or for those who are dealing with irritation. It’s packed with superfoods that help to calm the skin. You don’t need much, only 1-2 pumps, so it lasts for quite awhile. It does have that superfood scent to it but it’s not overpowering like the gel cleanser. The foam is soft, pillowy, creamy even, and It goes on smoothly. Foam cleansers tend to dry out skin but I find that this doesn’t do that for me. It doesn’t leave my face feeling stripped, but I don’t get any additional hydration from from it. It has at times reduced redness in my cheeks. My face feels calmed, fresh and clean after use.

PROS:

- Gentle. Doesn’t irritate skin

- Helps soothe irritated and stressed skin

- Reduces redness

- Leaves face feeling fresh and clean

- Complexion is brighter

- Superfood scent that isn’t overpowering like the gel

CONS:

- Foam. While it doesn’t dry my skin out I don’t find it to add any additional hydration to my skin

- Price. But if you are apart of BoxyCharm they occasionally have this in add-ons and pop up for less than half the price.

Love the tingly fresh feeling of the peel and it makes my skin feel super smooth.
