WOO ART! I made this piece as a holiday gift for a buddy of mine; her name is Eleanore, so I looked up the origin and made her into a cool puppet

Back in the day, supporting cast member Dorothy was shown into starlet Eleanor's dressing room. Dorothy was surprised to see that Eleanor was topless.

"Dorothy, isn't it?"

"Um, y-yes; I'm Dorothy."

"Very good. I noticed you 'noticing' me during the filming of that last scene. Am I correct?"

"I'm sorry...I didn't mean to..."

"Yes you did; don't deny it."

"Please don't have me fired, ma'am."

"Fired? Oh, no; far from it. It's just good to know another 'girl like me' is on the set. Would you like me to push this skirt off?"

"Yes, I would very much like that."

"And you'll go to your knees and do what comes naturally to girls like us?"

"I want nothing more than to do that."

"Excellent. I so love to be right. And Dorothy, discretion is everything. As long as you can keep our new secret, you will be able to go to your knees often, I promise."

"Thank you, Eleanor; I will not disappoint."

"I am happy with both your eagerness and confidence. Knees, now."

Matteo's early days

Matteo hadn't realised it, but his bug-catching mania had unintentionally paralleled his relationship with Theo to That of Sunny and Eleanor!

Now that he'd gotten the museum pretty well stocked, Matteo was feeling a lot better!

And then his strange dreams started leaking into reality...

Matteo had never really thought about the concept of sanity before, but he was taking so many orders from flowers that it was hard to believe he wasn't losing his mind.

Matteo was not a smart man, but nothing had every confused him so much as whatever dreamy nonsense was happening now. Where did reality start and the dreams end?

This had to be a dream, right??? A nightmare made too real?

This had to be a dream. People can only fly in dreams!

Then there was a bright burst of light, and the dream finally came to an end.

And yet, Matteo was still following orders from his dreams! At this point, he half expected every circular formation to suddenly glow and toss him into some new strange experience.

For a place that supposedly held all the answers, it sure reeked! Matteo didn't know water could smell so pungent! And of course, there was another glowing flowe-

...that was it. Matteo had gone insane. This whole Starlet town experience had just been a fever dream. He was trapped in Inception world.

What choice did he have but to play along and do whatever the strange glowing flowers wished, hoping they'd let him out of this waking dream? ...nah, no way was he about to make offerings!

But something told him there was no waking up... there was no more normal corporate life.

The broken Matteo intended to walk straight into the sea and just stand there, staring into the horizon. But he'd forgotten that someone was waiting there for him.

This was absolutely NOT the time for Matteo to get yelled at!

New article about Warframe 1999's cast and Technocyte Coda "Romance" Speculation

My biased highlight from the article (since my obsession is On-lyne):

Speaking of what characters are going to be, I probe Apostolides for a little more insight into Zeke, who remains mysterious compared to Aoi and Arthur. I ask how he had to change up the Resident Evil monster hunter mindset to become the monster himself, and he says he didn’t have “play the villain angle at all,” noting that he’ll “keep this a bit ambiguous to avoid spoilers.

“I simply had to play the moment, the personality, the archetype of a young break-out celebrity who has to deal with the arc of fame. The way he’ll be presented at the end will be done in a very creative and interesting way – even I’m curious to experience the final product!” With a little wink he closes out with “you’re just gonna have to play it.”

Color me intrigued. Given Ford told me that one of 1999’s romance options is “kind of disgusting,” I’m wondering if you do, in fact, wind up entangling yourself (literally) with our starry-eyed starlet. It’s giving me Baldur’s Gate 3 Mind Flayer vibes, but then again, Larian’s RPG was, to borrow Ford’s words, “the push over the cliff” for DE, so you never know, things might get… icky.

When the article [One of Warframe 1999’s romance options is “kind of disgusting”] was published there was a mention about a disgusting kiss and many theorized Eleanor (myself included!)... but now... maybe...

Finally getting around to these!! Had folks send in a bunch of characters to draw! I wound up with Magnus Burnsides from TAZ: Balance, Morgana from Persona 5, Kamal from Smile for Me, Eleanor Lamb from Bioshock 2, @saltyfryz 's OC - Starlet, and Ennard from FNAF!

I did also get enough DCA fandom requests for this that I'm workin on a whole seperate one of these with them, eheh. These've been a lot of fun to work on!! ^^

Even apart from her status as a nationally beloved film star, a kiss from Eleanor Shipley may well bestow bragging rights upon almost any guest in this room. One needed only a functional pair of optic nerves to see she's a stunner. But Gideon's always felt that her principal charms go far beyond her looks; resting in qualities she possesses which are rare as gemstones, even in their social circle.

... Perhaps especially in their social circle.

As far as actresses go, she's the most unpretentious and down-to-earth he's ever met, and he'd been married to one for three years. Should have been a telling sign when he'd mentioned it to his wife once, full of good cheer following a gala where they'd brushed arms with Eleanor — only for Katherine to spend the rest of the night pouting.

It isn't just in the acting world. He has only to look around to see the egos in this room, even among his friends. He himself hasn't always been above the charge of arrogance. But Eleanor is a strange creature, utterly lacking in self-importance, and exhibiting the sort of humility that he wishes was more common in their circles.

So, when she seems to be considering the challenge thrown their way, despite the glinting slyness in the eyes glued to them, he's hard pressed to deny her... Or them.

"Blimey, what a chore. Suppose I'll just have to lie back and think of England. Yea."

He can't help but tease a little, prompted by the shyness with which she tilts towards him, though his arm is already around her waist, prepared to draw her closer. They've always preserved a healthy boundary in their friendship (and Eleanor's friendship is too precious a thing to squander), but standing so close under the mistletoe, Gideon feels the magnetic pull of her lips; the reason so many men want to drown in her gaze as she looks up beneath her lashes, before they're close enough that they flutter shut.

So he kisses her, soft and sweet. It's distracting enough a pull that he doesn't think about the second bird she's referring to when she says kill two birds.

... Until that bird finds him; with an abrupt yank of his arm that frees the pretty starlet form his embrace, a brief swing, and a splitting blow to the jaw.

EVENT: Mistletoe Event (Canon / Flashback - several years ago)

WHERE: Christmas party at mutual friend's place.

One of Eleanor's favorite parts of the holiday season was the opportunity to catch up with friends she hadn't much of a chance to throughout the year. It seemed regardless of how busy everyone was, most made a point to gather together around Christmastime. It wasn't so much the warmth of the holiday punch and eggnog that had Eleanor feeling a little buzzed; after all, she hadn't much except for a few polite sips. The atmosphere of the place enveloping her with inviting scents of cinnamon and clove - and the familiar faces and bear hugs had her spirits high and happy. Everywhere she turned there was a decoration of Santa, or reindeer, or other magical creatures. She also noticed many sprigs of mistletoe dangling from precarious places and tried her best to duck each and every one. Newly single, she was ready for a fresh year to focus on just herself for a change. Unfortunately that would have been easier if her ex-boyfriend wasn't in attendance.

Bouncing from one group of chums to another, Eleanor excitedly listened to everyone's plans and goals for the upcoming year, or accomplishments of the past, chiming in with her own when asked. Eventually she found herself with Gideon and some pals, and she was eager to catch up with him as it had been a while. Although Eleanor had always been closest to Lara, she had a soft spot for all of the Rutherfords in her heart. Gideon was no exception to that. Eleanor hadn't realized until others in their group pointed out that they were centered right beneath one of of the mistletoe sprigs she had so decidedly tried to avoid. She ignored the others teasing about the two of them sharing a kiss, even as all eyes on them had her cheeks growing hot. It wasn't that Eleanor had any qualms with kissing Gideon. After all, he was quite the catch, and one of her favorite people. But also, wouldn't it make things incredibly awkward? She worried.

Eleanor didn't have much time to linger on that concern as she noticed Matthew making his way through the crowd. She pretended not to take notice, but could feel his seething gaze on her. Again. Already three times he had tried to trap her in a corner with a bushel of mistletoe, she refusing and reminding that she wanted nothing to do with him. After the the way he had treated her, there was no option for a second chance. He was persistent as ever though, and on instinct Eleanor grabbed Gideon's hand tightly. It might be the only way to keep her from socking her ex in the face. Green eyes rose, bashfully landing on Gid's face as she tilted her head and offered a tiny smile. Eleanor had a hunch he had noticed who was approaching and could read her well enough to play along. Inching onto her tiptoes, she cupped his cheek gently, her lips lifting into a more playful expression.

"They'll never shut up if we don't." She leaned in a bit. "Kill two birds with one stone?"

ANYA NABS TOP SPOT AS YEAR'S "BEST DRESSED"; ELEANORE URGED BY QUEEN TO "DRESS BETTER."

It's official - Anya IS the most fashionable of them all; at least according to Brindleton's Bazaar.

The glossy magazine and Brindleton's "fashion bible" has named The Crown Princess as the Year's Best Dressed for the second time in a row.

The magazine shared some of the best looks Anya has worn through the years, and we have to agree. She does look quite phenomenal in every single outfit! We have serious closet envy!

(Above: She may only still be a Crown Princess, but she's already been crowned Queen of Fashion - be it green, yellow, red, black, or white, Anya looks great in whatever hue she wears!)

Brindleton's Bazaar Editor-in-Chief shared that the selection was spearheaded by fashion movers and shakers as well as the masses by means of an online poll. In a new interview, the fashion mag's EIC shared:

"The Crown Princess won by a landslide, beating actresses, models, and other powerful and stylish women - including her own mum, The Queen.

Her Royal Highness, has, time and again, proven that she is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to fashion. She exudes class, grace, and elegance but somehow manages to remain young and trendy at the same time. She doesn't limit herself to just designer brands - she makes a §10 shirt look like a thousand bucks. That's how well she carries clothes.

Worldwide, she has started a phenomenon that stylists and designers call 'The Anya Touch' - everything she touches, or wears, turns to gold, causing the items to go out of stock in mere minutes. It's no surprise she topped this year's list again. Everyone wants to dress like The Crown Princess."

Her sister, Princess E, meanwhile, also placed in the 100-person list, landing at a respectable #28. The controversial Princess, who is the Family's self-proclaimed 'fashionista,' recently attended the Brindleton Fashion Week dressed in a sheer black Draap dress. The stint, insiders claim, has reportedly earned HRH a serious reprimand from her mum:

"The Queen was embarrassed, to say the least. She actually called E in after she arrived and lectured her about wearing 'appropriate' clothes. The Queen somehow feels that E is doing it on purpose, wearing sheer and slinky outfits just to piss her off. I think it's safe to say that The Queen does not trust her daughter, and with good reason. E has been provoking her constantly. If she wants to keep acting like a petulant child, then she'll be treated like one."

Her Majesty has reportedly told off E and warned her to "dress like a Princess, not like a desperate starlet."

Indeed, in her most recent engagements, Princess E seems to gravitate towards more risqué pieces including leg-bearing mini skirts and cleavage-bearing dresses. One fashion expert commented on HRH's fashion choices:

"In my opinion, Princess E -bless her heart - tries too hard. We always see her with the big brand and high-priced pieces, and she seems to gravitate towards the slinkier cuts perhaps to be the 'daring' royal in a sea of demure seemingly cookie-cutter royal women. But in her case, the risks she is taking don't seem to pay off. She comes off as haughty and to be quite honest, desperate. She's a PRINCESS for crying out loud. She shouldn't cheapen herself and compete with every single actor, model and wannabe influencer out there. She has the best clothes at her disposal.
