Back in 2011-2013 Spain had a sever economical crisis, and LaCaixa (a bank) opened their social part (Obra Social LaCaixa) that tried to help people at risk. Among their campaigns and things they did, they had this one where relevant people (singer, dancers, basketball players, MotoGP riders) 'read' books kids with a spin) to raise money.

This is the true story of the most famous race ever held in the country of tales.

Everything started when the tortoise and hare challenged each other at a velocity event. That generated a lot of excitement in the forest. So much so that the other animals decided to make their own pools/bets, casting a vote at show of hands, well show of paw or claw. At the first count, they were tied at one hundred until it was known that the only animal that the only animal that was supporting the tortoise was the centipede. It was clear that the tortoise wasn't the public favourite.

But let's turn back to the race. There is a week left for the big event, and the hare was so confident that spend the day resting under a tree. On the other hand, the tortoise had decided to prepare with dedication, for that they hire the services of one of the fastest athletes in the world. That guy showed them how to properly take the turns, to break in the last second (break deep?), to save energy and no never give up. The tortoise fought with all their strength. It wasn't easy, but at the end managed to overcome all the test.

And it came in the day of the big race. The young athlete had already done his job and said his goodbyes to his now friend, the tortoise. But when he was leaving, the tortoise asks: 'do you think I have any possibilities to win?'

The guy turned around, looked at the tortoise and answered: 'you've already won the first race.'

The tortoise thought about it until they understood that the first race that has to be won is the race to overcome yourself, and that is what they had already done.
