🐍💣Kanto Poison-Evo's Redesigns 2💣🐍 The redesigns for the most iconic Poison-types in all of Kanto - we have the Anime to thank for that. Arbok and Weezing are finally joining the crowd, a special duo for our 100 Redesign Milestone!! Arbok, like Ekans, plays with how it is an 'inverted cobra'. Way longer than its pre-volution, I originally meant for it to lay on its "torso" and head, raising the Rooster-like false head on its tail. The design overall is a nod to the molting of snake skin, and I used the -bok in Arbok to nod to chickens, making it an inverted false Cockatrice. The colors are also more muted, giving it a regal flair. Weezing builts upon Koffings smokebomb design, now hinting to even more nasty battle tactics. Like the original, it gained some extra appendages, but these act more like spike-bomb flails than real 'hands'. The wrappings have a more dreadful look to them and the horns are inspired by Oni Masks. These came out pretty hardcore, and I've been sitting on this file for way too long -w-;; Next week I'll be continuing with another Poison-type, the next 4 weeks will actually be Kanto redesigns .w.!! 100/151
