PROFIC PARTY WEEK 2! DAY 8: Any character or ship, themed after your favorite season!
It took me a while to narrow down my favorite season, but it ended up bein' winter! After workin' out my favorite season was winter, I wanted to give some life to my ship of Nanako x Eiji from the anime Senryuu Shoujo! Yukishiro Nanako, A fully mute girl who only communicates through written Senryuu, falls in love with Busujima Eiji, a delinquent boy who wants to be seen as less scary. The anime is adorable and I love how their dynamic ends up! Eiji doesn't judge her for her full mutism, and Nanako's absolutely adorable how obvious she is with her crush while Eiji's the most oblivious person on the planet.
Meanwhile their classmates can all totally see it. Just like the audience can. It's only twelve episodes, so I HIGHLY recommend watching it, either subbed or dubbed since it's got both - though the sub retains a lot more of the Senryuu meaning.
There they are! My adorable couple from an amazing show! I need more of them animated!!

For a series that had episodes that were 12 minutes long, it was a pretty fun watch. Story wise, it's a basic story of a shy girl falling in love with a supposed thug because he made her feel like she was more than what she was. And you have a few more characters in the blend. It's nothing grand, but it is fun.
The show's animation was good, but not breathtaking. I feel in some ways it fell short, but it also complimented scenes calling for humor. With characters, we have a plethora of scenes of Eiji and Nanako together and they definitely make a cute couple. What with their mannerisms and adorkable personalities. Their moments are so sweet, it's sickeningly so.
However, because the episodes run for 12 minutes, it does keep from genuinely getting wrapped around other characters who had the potential to be great, but were otherwise limited due to run time. The opening and ending themes were great at the very least. It bodes well with the premise.
While cheesy in some ways, it is a harmless watch that'll surely give you the warm fuzzies.
Score: 6.8/10
