when i first saw mango using the opera binoculars my first thought was "does mango have bad eyesight?" so ive been thinkin about that on & off 4 a bit now

i had no purple or mango designs so i just speedran designs (& new stick style. when will i be able 2 stick 2 one style....) so i could redraw this frame. yayyyy :D

alan has been giving more attention 2 characters he hasnt used in a bit i think (tdl in thumbnails of the password game, mango & purple in recent avm episodes & actual shorts). i love it but i wonder why? (maybe its nothing but uhhhheh ehehe)

I drew some angst earlier today of my versions of Sinestro and Arin. A little redraw of a specific full-page panel from a comic.

Ehehe.. here's the little pic and some additional lore about my Sinestro's past:

(Warning for blood & death)

It wasn't supposed to end that way. He wanted her to be safe and far away from the threat of action. Unfortunately.. he had made a mistake and it cost him greatly. Both heart and mind.

The loss of his wife.. the loss of his best friend, Abin Sur's sister.. it caused quite the disruption in their friendship.

Some time well after that horrible event, Sinestro and Abin got into an altercation. An argument while out on duty. Abin had heard of Sinestro's plans, but he didn't agree with them. Both men were already still rocky and broken from the loss of Arin. So, when Sinestro was plotting some way of utilizing his GL powers to enforce order and protection.. no matter how unreasonable. Abin Sur lashed out. Calling him crazy, delusional, that nothing will ever bring her back.

Sinestro.. well.. he wasn't thinking and without any ill intention.. he attacked Abin Sur. He only wanted to try and reason with him. He didn't mean to do it.. but a stray blast from his ring managed to wreck the ship they were traveling in.. and the blast severely damaged Abin Sur.

..Sinestro fled the ship in horror, not seeing the fate of his friend as the ship hurtled down to a particular blue planet. The thought of having presumably killed his own partner and friend on top of having already dealt with the loss of his wife.. well.

That absolutely destroyed him. Shattered him so deeply.. he's grown distant. Disconnected and apathetic. Bottling up, locking away, and throwing the key away with his emotions..

This was the beginning of the end of his GL career.. and the lead up to him being picked up by the Yellow Corps. The immense fear and angst building up inside him being strong enough he found a new life with the Yellow Lanterns. However, he couldn't take the life and went rogue. Taking the ring with him and starting his own little sect.

- Day 3 - Sacrifice -

Like you might have understood, I use sporadically prompts from the alphabet and the basic list. I let inspiration hit me when it wants to.

I have to say, this prompt is rather angsty here but i’ll try my best to make it fun to read eheh :D

Bunny

For my first girly, i decided to redraw the player sacrifice at the end of khux with my sweet child Bunny. However, before she was send through the portal by Ephemer, Anis see through his sister lies. In a desperate act, he push her away and is the one that is send through the portal and locked with the darkness.

Bunny has a hard time accepting what happened. She feels guilty that she wasn't able to fool her twin and that he sacrificed himself for her in the end. Thankfully – even if she is left in the ruin of Daybreak Town – Ephemer is here for her.

This unfortunate situation really strengthen their bound. A bound that – after years of strong friendship – because a sincere love for each other.

Mikana

Mikana's drawing is a rather bleak one. Mikana sacrifice everything to save her older sister. Manipulation, lies, deceit and pain don't matter to her as long as long as she can save Sakore.

In her blind attempt at rewriting fate, she sacrifice her own heart and body. The darkness she uses daily to manipulate her friends and further her plans slowly takes over her. Inexorably drawing her closer to her own end. However, life is far more cruel than she anticipate.

There is no cure. No way of saving her sister. In fact, in the past she left, Sakore became a heartless in a matter of weeks after her disappearance. The revelation is like a punch is the guts. All her anguish and suffering were for nought. All along her goals were nothing more than a cloud of smoke. From the start she wasn’t the one manipulating but was manipulated.

But things gets even darker when an old acquaintance recognize her. Yen Sid unveil her tainted actions to her friends. Her betrayal unearthed, she had no chose but flee. Now, without any goal or friends to rely on, Mikana has to reevaluate her life and chose her next moves carefully.

Sika

Sika try to hide away in Twilight Town for a while after crashing there. The teenager can finally live the way she wants to. A life she choose along, without the overbearing judgement of her master. But soon, she hears of Orion actions through her new friends. Orion now completely indulge in darkness and helps Xigbar in his plans.

Back against the wall, Sika has to make a choice : try to stop Orion's rampage or live the free and happy life she always dreamed of. Even if they feel conflicted, the perspective of innocents peoples being hurt by her inaction push her to follow the first option. Using her keyblade again after a while, she saves Kairi in extremis during one of Orion's attack on Twilight Town.

Now playing the role of keyblade master along side Aqua and Riku, Sika takes part in the plans to stop Xigbar and his mysterious plans. But really, Sika has a goal slightly different from the rest. In fact, her and Orion's relationship wasn't only friendship. Guilt ridden and still in love with the girl, they promise themself to take her down no matter what.

And they do. Running out of options in the last battle against the redhead, Sika resign herself to end it at once and run her keybalde through the both of them. Orion is defeated but Sika's own heart is freed in the process.

Pêche

Like said in my last post, Pêche is the result of Daisy's and Poppy's reunification into one. However, this unification was forced by Xehanort in the slim hope it would result in the formation of X-Blade. It , in fact, didn't forge the desired weapon.

The two parts that had grew apart for the last decade were in a delicate place : As their heart tried to fit back together, chunks of it were broken off, cracked or destroyed. They were auto-destructing, both of their heart desperately trying to survive the horrifying ordeal. Poppy quickly caught on that if they both persisted, neither would survive.

In a last act of unconditional love, Poppy consciously stop fighting and let Daisy's ego take over her heart. She was aware this action would make her disappear but it didn't matter as long as the other was alive and well. Ultimately - like it never existed - Poppy's conscience was no more. Though completely heartbroken and anguished by her other part passing, Daisy became one.

One that had some of Poppy's memories and feelings but mostly Daisy. Foggy memories and a deep feel of nothingness was all that was left of the years they were two. All that was left was patchwork of two individuals experiences that now had to live on.

PFIIIIIIIOUUUUUUU And here is the third day of this week for me ! It was pretty lore and angst heavy ahah i hope it wasn't too confusing. English isn't my first language but i really like writing fics in this language. No idea if it's good but anyways i hope my traumatized keykids were to y'all liking !

👁👁 "the holding of hands, the breaking of glass" is a constantly evolving quote unquote canon storyline for noctit ;-; like I dunno if I'll ever finish it because I keep getting new ideas and changing things alskdjdj but it basically covers their relationship during the war, ups and downs and warts and all. it ends with the rise of the Empire,,,, I'll put a lil snippet under the cut, the scene isn't finished (obviously) but it makes my brain go brr

and the photo redraw is either gonna be Lane and Uj to Quin and Fox, I have two sketches in the early stages ehehe

It feels significant, be let into the Temple without a very specific work-related reason. The halls are empty at this ridiculous hour. Even so, there are surveillance cams to avoid as best they can. Nocte’s not sure of the odds that the Temple Guard would recognize him at a glance, but they could always just ask Fox and he’d rather avoid that entire conversation.

Kit ushers him across the threshold and breezes past him because Nocte has to stop, frozen just inside the doorway. It’s a small space, but not cramped. There’s a worn out couch in the common area with more blankets strewn across it than one person could ever need. A rug with an intricate pattern on the floor. Just outside the kitchen, a table big enough to seat four and a tall shelf cramped with assorted keepsakes. The wall behind the couch is covered in photos, printed out for posterity.

It feels like a home. Lived-in and cared-for.

“Nadhar is visiting Mon Cala for a few days,” Kit says as he takes off his boots.

It is a home, in a way Nocte was completely unprepared to process. There are traces - fingerprints - of Kit and his wayward Padawan everywhere, in every decorative choice and in the spare robe thrown over a chair and in the brand of tea on the counter.

“Oh,” he hears himself rasp.

Everything feels strangely distant, then Kit rests a hand on his shoulder and snaps the world back into focus.

Meet ‘R & J’...

...two of my first original characters, who originated from a 'love' story I started writing back when I was 15, which ended up being over 70k words long 😵  Looking back now though, the story was... awful. Like, I didn't have any good understandings/influences regarding healthy relationships at the time, let alone gay relationships... so you can imagine how problematic the story turned out to be. 

Because of this, and because I posted it to wattpad for everyone on the internet to see without a second thought about what future me would think because I honestly didn’t think I was writing anything exceptionally bad..........*breathe*...I ended up just wanting to forget I even wrote the story. However, despite all that I found I couldn't let go of this couple I had created.

So, instead of dwelling on the regret of making mistakes... I recently decided to redraw and reinvent them! Now, it's like they've come back to life and grown up with me :') They still aren't 100% complete but it's so fun for me to see how much they've changed from one of the first drawings I did of them back when I was a teen:

...to this one I did recently at the age of 21:

I may even rewrite their entire story as I find I now have a better (still growing!) understanding of relationships/people AND new ideas based on my own experiences growing up as someone who has come to terms with the fact that they are gay/queer, on the ace spectrum, and non-binary/transgender.

They are around 21+ years old by the way, but below, I drew them around 16-18. Going through their rebellious teen years ehehe...

I would love to let this post/my blog (and this twitter thread) be a way for me....or rather us... to develop their characters/story...so if you have any questions, first impressions, headcanons, theories, feedback etc. about these two and their story, even if it's off the top of your head, feel free to message me! You’re also welcome to draw them yourself as long as you link back to this post/the tag ‘RandJ’ on my blog.

Thank you so much for reading all of this, by the way. This has been on my mind for a while so it feels great to get it out there :') I hope you enjoy these two as much as I do! This won't be the last time you see 'em!!!

I have went through so much hell (eheh get it?) to draw this so I hope you like it.

A few thinks to know in case you do a redraw: •His hair loosens up when he goes in his demon form, so it looks more wavy than curly. •His face and body are covered with slightly complex swirly patterns. (Sort of like the one I already drew) •His horns resemble very much like Mileficent’s, but a bit shorter. •His teeth are quite large and sharp.

And he got a new piercing so I hope you like that as well! :3 (I was gonna color it, but I’m satisfied with the drawing and don’t wanna tamper with it anymore. The eye and eyebrow was made generously by a friend at school.)

Edit - So the "swirls" I mentioned are more like flowers than swirls, it adds on the the "beauty meets beast" look of his demon form! :)
