Ferrari, the media and F1 fans don't expect perfection from Charles. They expect the impossible. He has to win a world championship even if his car is not the fastest for the majority of the season. He has to stand up for himself and go against Ferrari's orders but if he decides to force his team to pit him he's an idiot, clearly the team wasn't ready, why would he do that. He has to stand up for himself and voice his concerns on the radio but if he does that he's a toddler, a crybaby, a driver who can't win without team orders. He has to stand up for himself and not let people walk over him but when he likes a tweet referencing the fact his teammate's mother liked tweets insulting him on social media he's petty and overreacting. He has to stand up for himself but if he finally snaps after years of being silent over how his teammate and Ferrari treat him he's ungrateful, a liar, not worthy of wearing Ferrari's colors and apparently a racist for making a sarcastic comment about his white spanish teammate. He has to be a respectful teammate, but when Sebastian Vettel, despite all the times they clashed, has nothing but good things to say about him, no one listens. He has to be a respectful teammate but everyone has already decided he'll hate Lewis when he's always just had positive things to say about him. For the tifosi, "Il Predestinato" means that Charles will be the one to bring Ferrari back to its former glory. For everyone else, it means he has to be the emotionless robot covered in rosso corsa.

yo hey US people who sent in absentee ballots, they are tossing mail-in ballots for no reason. i just had to call my county board of elections and demand a cure for my ballot because north carolina didn't send out any notices of issues with ballots, and the issues are fake. if you voted by mail-in make sure your ballot was actually counted
