*quietly raises a hand* i know i have lots going on in terms of the boys and the world of fiction but would there be any interest in a gymnast Charles and sprinter Edwin AU? Just hypothetically speaking? Wink

Theyre both on track to compete in the Olympics, top of their sports. Charles is unbeatable at floor, pommel horse and vault. Edwin is pure energy when he sprints, does hurdles and when he (although he prefers not to) does relay.

They meet because it's raining and edwins coach is like you're not allowed to run in the rain AGAIN Mr. Payne. So he goes inside and theres Charles doing a double layout.

the fact that Edwin lived in the early 1900s is a fantastic source of comedic potential. he's just constantly saying things that he doesn't realise are completely batshit insane, and the others are just left utterly floored.

like they're all talking and Crystal mentions she's tried cocaine once on a wild night out, and Edwin, who used to get that shit medically prescribed at the drop of a hat is like ??? okay?? hope you felt better, it always used to help me when I had a cold too :) Charles why are you laughing?
