Ok ok, new vegan stuff at @costco, saw it on the IG of @foranimalsjapan, let’s try this out ! Soy meat vegan bolognese was alright, although I can probably cook something better 😝 but for lazy days it would be nice ! Also, they could have filled it more tho 😛 The cookie dough has a great texture, I just tried it raw for now, I’ll try baking it later, when I feel better, but so far... IT’S TOO COOKING SWEET ! 😵yep too sweet for me :/ damn it may be vegan and GMO free but doesn’t mean that’s healthy ! Lol ! I’m scared Costco might have stopped the almond milk... so anyway got my vegan probiotic proteins refill, sea asparagus (careful if you go buy some this week, some of them are already starting to turn a humid dark green, that ain’t good. Girly-Style.Net and the Dreaded "Landmine" Category
This is something I receive a surprising number of asks about, mostly from people trying to roast me for shilling this website as a highly accurate source for Girly information many months ago. Surely this discrepancy is a big blow to my credibility, right? How can landmine not be a fashion when the best website on the subject has it listed?
So, I thought I’d take a look at what they have under that category, just to see if I really was being a bit of a clown previously.

Well first off, it's under a personality category, not a fashion category. Which is even worse, I think. But, interestingly enough, they only have four brands listed for girls of the “landmine personality type": JamieANK, EATME, Listen Flavor, and MA*RS. And this isn’t inaccurate, as all of those brands are worn among self-identifying landmine girls.
What sticks out is the fact there’s only these four. If we’re going by what the stereotypical clothing looks like, you could fit brands like Honey Cinnamon and Rojita into the landmine label too. The other thing of note is that the brands that are listed occasionally overlap with Yamikawaii, which also often gets lumped in with landmine, and is also popular among landmine girls. Hell, don’t even get me started on Listen Flavor being in the list.
This is pretty indicative of this category not being kept up-to-date, even with how the stereotype evolved to include pretty much every edgy alternative fashion over the throwaway use. The association of the term landmine with only dark frilly outfits (as it still persists overseas) died out in Japan within roughly a year, but the negative meaning has not changed at all.
