The snow is over across the Gulf Coast after a once in 100 year snowfall occurred. That storm that produced the snow will head out to sea and just cold weather will occur in the wake of the storm. A blizzard warning for southern Louisiana!!!Never have I seen a blizzard warning for Louisiana. Even Bourbon St is having snow this morning. The snow along the Gulf coast will accumulate over 4 inches and that snow will even go up the Carolinas coast. Very cold weather will continue to cover much of the East. The cold front is moving across the East this morning and that front is putting an end to the extreme warmth the last few days. A storm will cut across the West and into the Plains this weekend. That storm may bring tornadoes to the Plains and moderate snows to the Front Range of the Rockies. Denver is going to see some snow this weekend.

This mornings weather map shows the cold front has moved across the East taking the warm weather with it. A storm coming out of the Rockies will bring gusty storms to the Midwest and snow in the Rockies. A tropical system might be brewing for the first week of November.
