Hello! Welcome to THE BUGVERSE, a 10+ year old ocverse created by @littlest-bugz! Born as an escape from trauma now turned into a universe in which several of my books exist in, this side blog will be focused on all things writing, world building, and ocs! On this side blog, not only will there be oc posting [art, lore, writing, etc], but also writing tips and resources!!

meet the creator gods. . .

In the beginning there was the void, and the void alone. From the void spawned the three creator gods, Kia'zhu, Tique and Absynth'xae. When these creator gods were birthed of the void, they became magnetized to each other at high speed, carving out the heavens, the infernal, and the mortal plane as they collided into a large universe creating explosion. From there, the three primordial deities convened, dictating over what domains they ruled. Kia'zhu was to rule over the divine realms, Absynth'xae was to rule over the infernal realms, and Tique was to rule over the limbo realm- Remia.

Kia ; The Creator of The Celestial Realms, they/he - The polar opposite of Absynth, Kia is a beacon of sunshine to all they meet. Selfless and humble, the creator god is known to help even the lowest of mortals. With a heart of gold, the god has been known to be a good support during all times of need. This, however, doesn't negate the fact they have a temper that manifests into passive aggression that he doesn't have a control on.

Tique ; The Great Destroyer , he/him - Formerly the beloved creator of the middle realms, Tique was split into two gods due to the wrath he had built up due to repeated disrespect, not only from his own children, but the other creator gods as well. His splitting was to prevent the death of the universe, leaving him to be mentioned in holy books and memories, but nothing more. Before his fall from grace, he was considered kind and considerate, generous most importantly. He did everything to please his children and subjects- anyone he came into contact with. It, however, led him to be a doormat, meaning his resentment built up until he popped, lashing out on everyone and everything.

Absynth ; The Creator of The Infernal Realms, he/him - Best described as self centered and haughty, Absynth is all about sin and pleasure. While he is capable of compassion, sympathy, and empathy, he finds he can only truly care for those he has grown aside, such as Tique and Kia. He is known to indulge in "Earthly Delights", but also seems to like simpler things, like reading and playing the fiddle.

I'm writing several different books at the moment! Below you will find brief summaries of the books I'm writing!!

Ensuring Your Spot In Hell ; romance / drama / supernatural

Melissa is the bassist in an up and coming band, just beginning the tour that would skyrocket their popularity. However, as her health rapidly deteriorates, her world comes crashing down at the diagnosis of terminal cancer. With little over a month to live, she invokes the patron deity of her best friend- The Infernal God of Wrath and Violence- to extend what little is left of her life. In the process, she catches the eyes of another infernal deity who wants nothing more than to hurt her. As she navigates the end of her life, Melissa finds herself caught up in godly drama. How will she get herself out of this one?

The Case of Twin Woods ; thriller / supernatural / crime

When Chastity ends up at the state psych ward, Twin Woods, she expects a miserable time. However, as she gets to know the other patients in the long term inpatient unit, she hears rumors of human experimentation being ran by the warden of the institute. With nothing to do, and a fiery passion to see justice, Chastity investigates the rumors, only to find out she bit off more than she could chew. . .

The Remian Prophecies [trilogy] ; fantasy / action / romance [sub plots]

Since early childhood, Dorien has known he would die at the hands of his father to save the world. This doesn't stop him from being a beacon of hope to his people. Finding courage through the encouragement of friends and lovers, Dorien takes it upon himself to change the prophecy that has been cemented in his mind since he was young. However, he finds that changing fate is much harder than it seems. . .

Mia lives a very simple, boring life. She doesn't stand out, but it leads her to live a stress free life. After being fired from her job suddenly, her life is sent into chaos. With the help of one of her closest friends, she gets a job at Cafe Bellamy. However, after meeting a regular named Zander, she finds herself wrapped up in a drama with her boss, who is infatuated with the stoic, mysterious man. Mia finds herself having to put her entire trust into Zander after a serious event that leaves Mia running from the police. She knows she won't get away for long, but she finds Zander is oddly talented with hiding from the police. . .

Untitled #2 ; mystery / crime / supernatural

Chris was your average detective, working on cold cases and solving crimes. It was his passion- everything he had dreamt of as a child. However, after unknowingly passing a crime scene, the ghost of a murdered person attaches itself to Chris’s energy, making themself visible to the detective. Then begins the undertaking of a case that he hadn't ever expected to work on. With the help of the ghost, he works towards solving the case of Scottie Weiss, a 20 year old who went missing sometime in 1969. In a strange twist of fate, it seems the killer is closer than he ever would've expected. . .
