i can totally see ppl generally assuming rosalyn is like the more sane, leash on hannahs craziness but NO she’s 10x crazier, just more elegant

thinking really hard about kinich's family.

how he holds so much love for his mother despite her abandoning him as a child. how he loved his mother more than he feared his father, which led him to asking him about her whereabouts despite knowing there was a risk it'd cause him to react violently. how his favorite story was the one his mother wrote solely because she wrote it, and how he held hope he'd meet her again someday

the fact that he's so different from his father in every way: from his work ethic (kinich being hardworking and serving as a right-hand man to the archon in the story versus his father who took 3 days off for every day he worked), to his demeanor (his father oftentimes behaving recklessly and violently whereas kinich is more level-headed and calm), and circling back to how he views and treats his mother (his father not caring for her whereas kinich loved her) and how you could make the argument that it's because kinich didn't want to become like him, so he became someone that he and his mother needed.
