Noona! Please! Help! - Part 2
Fandom: BTS Characters: Younger Brothers BTS and Elder Sister Narrator Genre: A Little Dramatic and A Little Comedic Word Count: 1.3K Words Warning: Mention of other idols such as Lisa and Ryujin, tearing down clothes, breakdown, crying etc. Note: It’s a siblings AU story of BTS with the narrator as their elder sister. I tried to write something different from what I usually write about. I had fun making this. Hope it makes you feel good too. Happy Reading Everyone :)
Summary: Her little brothers can’t attend to a single task without her help. Be it a dance competition or asking out a girl for a date, they always seem to be finding everything too hard to go through without her by their side. ‘Our lucky charm’; that’s what they like to call her. But what if she turns out to be a misfortune in different situations in one single day?
Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4 - More to come
Not Really the Best Dancer:
06:45 a.m. 1st September, 2015
I still have more than an hour before Hobi’s aka Hoseok’s dance starts. So, I decided to take a shower and apply some light makeup that would suit all the occasions I am to participate in. I had taken a day off work today. Because, I’m about to meet my seven little brothers, that too, at different times in one single day.
I make a mental note of my schedule and get out of my house (Sorry, it’s actually my granma's house) 10 minutes prior to Hobi’s dance. He is going to participate in the finale of the dance competition he had been practicing for for the last three years. Though a little nervous, I’m pretty positive he is going to win. I mean, why not? He’s the best dancer I have ever seen.
“Come here!” Hobi waves his hand while talking to me on the phone. I go straight to him pushing the crowd ahead of me.
“You should have hurried, Noona!” Hobi says with a pout, “I have to go change. The show’s starting.”
“Alright!” I tell him, “Go on, then. I’ll be cheering you on from the crowd. Are you nervous?”
“Nah!” Hobi dismisses the question with a slight wave of his hand and by putting a bright smile on his face, “Why would I be? I’ve got you.”
I take his hands in mine, clearly noticing the sweaty palms, “Fighting!”
“Fighting!” with a little shake of the hands he disappears inside the dressing room.
Lisa starts her performance with a loud applause from the crowd. I had watched some of the previous dance performances of others in the videos Hoseok brought home for me to see. But I don’t remember watching any of her. Watching her perform live in front of me makes me a little nervous. She has one of the best body controls. And it is definitely something to worry about.
The next participant gets as much cheers from the crowd as her previous competitor. Her name’s Ryujin and I had seen her collaborating with Hobi before. I liked that dance so much at the time. Now, I’m not really sure I’m liking her moves. Of course, she can dance. And that is exactly my problem.
Finally, Hoseok takes the stage as ‘J-Hope’ and the crowd bursts into loud screams from the enthusiasts. All my anxieties take some rest. But as soon as he starts to move along the beat, I feel like I’m holding my breath. As if that would ensure his perfect performance.
Everything goes smoothly until at a point Hoseok rips off his shirt; earning more screams from the audience. I’m shocked at the revelation. Is it a mistake? I mean, Hoseok would never do that. Once he had told me himself that he doesn’t like showing much skin. It’s the choreography that matters more to him.
But it seems like I’m the only one who’s confused. Others around me seem to be enjoying the dance along with that little distraction that he made. However, I gather myself just before the end so that I don’t forget to cheer and clap the loudest for my little Hobi.
There’s a thirty minute break before they announce the winner of the long one month competition. I check my phone and gasp.
Three missed calls from Yoongi.
I check the time. It’s already 8:48 a.m. Yoongi’s game starts at 8:30 a.m. I was supposed to be with him now. I look out for Hobi.
“You did great!” I compliment him hurriedly.
“Thanks but…” Hobi frowns.
“What’s the matter?” I take a closer look at his sweaty face.
“It’s just that” Hobi continues, “I feel like I made a mistake.”
My phone rings before I could tell him anything. It’s Yoongi again.
“Umm…” I hesitate before speaking, “I still believe you’re going to win. Hobi… Please don’t mind but… I really have to be somewhere now.”
“What?” Hobi looks up, “No way! Wait for the announcement at least. Please, Noona! You promised!”
“I promised I will watch you perform. And I did that. Besides, you didn’t mention the results will take that long to be announced. I have to meet Yoongi. Apparently he has an important match too.”
Hobi scoffs, “As if he’s the one playing.”
I can sense the anger rising within him. First of all, he’s upset about some mistakes that he made. Now that I’ve mentioned Yoongi, he’s definitely pissed. Hoseok never liked the fact that Yoongi bets money on basketball matches. According to him, “It’s a waste of money if you lose. And a waste of character if you win.”
“You can go if you want.” Hobi says finally, “It’s not even a huge deal.”
I know he doesn’t mean that. It is in fact a huge deal for him. My common sense tells me it is better to deal with an angry Yoongi than with an angry Hoseok.
I smile and pull him into a hug. He’s surprised by my sudden action. “What’re you doing?”
“Don’t worry!” I say, “Noona will stay so that you win.”
“Oh yeah!” Hobi hugs me back, “Then, I’ll definitely win.”
“I’ll be there as soon as it ends.” I yell at Yoongi through my phone because of the loud audience around me.
“Yeah, take your time.” Yoongi says bitterly, “Looks like Hoba is in need of some luck more than I do today. ‘Cause we’re already winning.” Then, he cuts the line.
I don’t have the time to think about his last remark. The three participants walk to the stage and the crowd cheers louder, as if it is even possible. I cheer for Hobi too, mentally praying to God that my little brother gets the fruit that he’s been nurturing for so long.
With some dramatic speeches and hearts beating up to our throats, the result is finally revealed. And J-Hope is not the winner.
Looks like Ryujin outdid the others this time and she is as shocked as I am to find it out. Both Lisa and Hobi are clapping with bright smiles on their faces. They are both bowing to Ryujin, who in turn is bowing to them. The flower bouquet is presented to her and the rest of the celebration goes on in blur.
I went backstage to meet Hobi. But I only see two girls hugging and complimenting each other. Hobi is nowhere to be seen. I look through the dressing room and he’s not there.
I decide to peek at the boy’s bathroom to check and I sigh in relief. Hobi is bending towards the basin, his hands covering the face while the faucet runs beneath.
“Hobi!” I call him softly.
“Please, Noona!” His voice cracks as he tries to speak, “Just give me some time. I promise I’ll be okay. Just some time is all I need.”
Contemplating on why it is hard for me to believe that he is crying out of failure, I find that it is because I had never experienced Hoseok openly displaying sadness before. He was always the ray of sunshine, the restless butterfly or the sweet smelling flower of our family. As if it is what’s expected of him.
Even right now, in such a vulnerable state of mind, he doesn’t seem to be trusting me enough to have confided in me. Instead, he’s willing to go through a breakdown all alone until he’s ready to smile brightly again.
I am dumbfounded. I feel like I need to tell him something, comfort him and let him know that he’s not here alone. I want to make him feel that it's okay to fail. That he’s still loved and that’s what should matter the most.
My phone rings in my pocket once again and Hoseok looks up from the sink. With teary red eyes he says, “It must be Yoongi Hyung. Don’t make him wait any longer. Just go. I’ll be fine.”
“Are you sure?” I ask, confused.
“I guess,” he sniffs, “I accept my defeat. Maybe, I’m not really the best dancer that you used to think I am.”

BTS Reaction || You’re Sending Them Memes [Request]
Seokjin:
"Jin! I'm bored give me attention." You said as your boyfriend of a year walked through your shared apartment looking for something, he looked at you and sighed.
"I can't baby, I have a meeting." You grumbled something and handed him the car keys you'd been hiding from him, he kissed the top of your head and ran out of the front door. He was running late already thanks to you coming into your bedroom in nothing but one of his shirts,
"I'll make it up to you later!" He called as he pulled out of the driveway and headed in the direction of the restaurant you shut the front door and went over to the sofa to scroll through your phone. Sometimes Jin would sit with you and look through the feeds with you, both of you laughing at memes that Army that were tweeting out and then sending them to the group chat.
Jin's phone was vibrating on the table and everyone stared at it,
"Are you going to answer?" He shook his head placing some rice into his mouth and continuing to eat but it continued to buzz and he'd had enough, he turned it over when no one was looking to see what was so important, he scrolled through the messages and they were all you asking for attention, then the last one was a picture of the rap line dressed as the Powerpuff girls. Jin began choking on the rice he'd inhaled when he saw the photo and dropped his phone, coughing into his hands as he tried not to laugh too hard in the middle of the restaurant.
"Hyung what is it-" Jimin burst into laughter the moment he saw the photo but you continued sending more and more memes of them all to him, each of them funnier than the other only making Jimin and Jin laugh hard, Jin was laughing so hard he was starting to cry and Jimin was trying to show Taehyung the phone but couldn't hold it straight.
"I wanted attention." You pouted when Jin walked through the door later that night telling you what happened at the dinner table when he opened the messages,
"Luckily it wasn't the nudes I was going to send." He coughed out the water he was drinking and watched as you walked up the stairs towards the bedroom and he ran after you.
Yoongi:
Yoongi was at the studio when he decided to drop his new mixtape on you without telling you about it, you knew he'd been working on it but you had no idea it was even due out yet. You watched the video before sending him photoreactions of each of the members, spamming his phone with them to try and get him to pay attention to you but he was busy with other things.
YOONGI! HOW FUCKING DARE?! Attached to the text you'd sent him was a photo of him holding the sword dressed as King Agust and beside it was a photo of Tae in his hwarang looking disgusted by King Agust. Yoongi stared as his phone continued to light up with messages from you so he went live on Vlive and started talking to Army while painting.
"Y/n is spamming my phone with memes because I didn't tell her about today." He said calmly painting the soundwave across the canvas, his phone continued to go off so he got up from the floor and showed Army the first meme you'd sent him which was him looking disgusted. 'Disgusted D' making him chuckle and then blush as you continued sending him memes,
Min Yoongi reply to me! He began laughing as he read the text out loud to Army and then shook his head at how you were reacting to the album.
"She loves it, hates me though." From there it sparked more memes being made by Army, the first one you saw was Yoongi as the cat at the dinner table while you yelled at him with Jimin standing behind you.
(Please forgive me Namjoon for I have strayed from the path)
Hoseok:
Hoseok had gone straight to work without saying goodbye to you, you'd gotten into a small bickering fight about something stupid neither of you could remember but you knew Hobi and you knew he could hold a grudge. To make up for you being a bitch the night before you sent him a loving text only to be left on read by him, which then resulted in you going into the deepest parts of your phone to find all the memes you'd saved over the years and you began to send them one by one, spaced a minute apart so his phone would go off over and over again to get his attention.
He watched his phone out of the corner of his eye, he was ignoring you on purpose and he knew that you were spamming him to get him to talk to you but he was determined not to let it work, but every time he checked his messages he would find himself laughing at the copious amount of memes you were texting him,
Stop ignoring me and give me attention Attached to the text was a pouting anime character and then another one came through.
I'm not going to cook ever again A photo Jin holding a knife and staring at the screen.
That's it Attached to the last one was a photo of Taehyung holding a phone and the text across the photo read that he was calling Namjoon. Less than three minutes later Namjoon came bursting through the door holding his phone out.
"Answer your damn girlfriend." He grunted showing him the mass of memes that Namjoon was now getting because he'd sent you to voicemail.
You're in trouble tonight Was all Hobi text back and you sent him a string of kisses and love hearts making him shake his head at you.
Namjoon:
You knew Namjoon was in the studio with Yoongi and Hoseok and that they had been stressed lately, you were doing everything you could as Namjoon's girlfriend to cheer him up so it started with inviting them all to dinner, then offering Namjoon a massage when he got home but it seemed like it wasn't working so you asked for help from Army, you tweeted out asking for the best memes and you began to save them all into a folder so you could send them to the rap line group chat you were in.
Hey male Powerpuff Girls, have some memes. Namjoon read it aloud to everyone in the room before their phones began to vibrate against the desk in and out of sync with one another. Hoseok checked them all first dying of laughter on the small sofa and next was Namjoon who was trying to hide how hard he was laughing at the memes. Yoongi turned his phone over and rested it on his knee to look at it while you continued to spam them, letting his gummy smile come out as he laughed at your attempts to cheer them all up. Once the texts were over they all smiled at each other,
Are we still on for Dinner ~ Y
You owe me a battery pack charger ~ J
SEND MORE MEMES! ~Hobi
You giggled following Hoseok's instructions and sending more and more memes throughout the day to keep their spirits high.
Jimin:
When your relationship was revealed to Army they loved you instantly because you were a walking talking meme, every day there was something new for you to see. Today was the shocked Pikachu meme with you sitting beside it pulling the same face while staring at Jimin during a vlive that you did. You spammed his phone with them all even though he was in the middle of a meeting with Bang PD and other important people but you didn't care, you just wanted him to see them and pay attention to you.
You were still spamming his phone when he walked through the front door after his day at work, he stared at you and then to his phone,
"67 unread messages...Do I even want to open them?" You giggled as he threw himself down onto the sofa in front of you and staring at you, you smiled sheepishly at him and he groaned.
"You should have told me to stop, there's so many Jimin." He sat up and wrapped his arms around your shoulder while you scrolled through your feed showing him everything you were being tagged in. He found it adorable how much you tried to interact with as many Army as you could, you kept your private social media open for them to talk to you and you even had a few close friends who were Army and supported your relationship he loved that you were so open with them, except for things you weren't obviously allowed to talk about with them.
Taehyung:
Tae was supposed to be paying attention to what was being said in the meeting but he wasn't, he kept sneaking glances at his phone under the table, laughing and proceeding to send you more memes in return. You were in the middle of a meme battle and it was safe to say that you were winning, you were saving memes from Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest and all other forms of meme potential and it had started as basic memes but it was slowly turning into just BTS crackhead culture memes and it was making it harder for Taehyung to hide what he was doing. Namjoon, who was sitting beside him, glanced down at what he was staring at and started laughing along with him.
"What's so funny?" Jin asked when he noticed Namjoon and Taehyung laughing down at something under the desk, all eyes were on them now and you sent another meme but this time to the group BTS chat,
"That." Taehyung muffled through his chuckles, everyone checked their phones and saw a link that was sitting there.
"Put it on Hyung!" Jungkook yelled clicking on the link and trying to put it on the big screen behind Jin, succeeding and then watching as the music started. BTS Memes song, it had everyone crying with laughter within a matter of seconds and you were at home crying into a pillow trying not to laugh too loudly and annoy Tae's neighbours.
Jungkook:
Jungkook was halfway across the world and complaining to you that he was bored, he was in a meeting with the rest of the boys talking about a new comeback and it was all things they'd discussed before but were going over again so he text you asking to entertain him. Which looking back on it now he thought might have been a mistake because every two minutes his phone would signal a new message and sitting in his messages was a new meme, each of them getting funnier each time.
"Something funny Jungkook?" Namjoon asked and Kookie shook his head looking up at the leader who went back to talking again, less than three minutes later Jungkook looked down again and started laughing so hard he snorted. As if you knew what was happening you sent a fanart drawing of Namjoon scolding Jungkook off for something along with unimpressed looking memes of Namjoon. He slapped his hand across his mouth and stared up at everyone who was looking at him in the room,
"Y/n's sending him memes, she sent me the same one." Jin laughed looking at the fanart and then showing it to Namjoon who proceeded to pout out like a baby.
"I don't look like that when I scold you."
"Yes, you do!" Jin laughed looking at the other memes you were sending to the big group chat now resulting in them all laughing and forgetting about the borrowing meeting they'd been having. Jungkook smiled to himself happy that you were able to get along with each of the members so well without even being there.

✨ Moments like These ✨
✨ Poly!Bts x Ftm!Reader ✨
✨ M/N has a bad day, from terrible dysphoria, to coffee being tossed at him for messing up an order.. The boys are having none of it, and decide they’ll do their best to cheer their boyfriend up!! ✨
✨ Warnings : Dysphoria, slight sexual content (not much, just sleepy Jimin), and minor angst ✨
✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨
✨ You had texted your boyfriends a few minutes ago, telling them you’d be home early and that you would not be in a good mood, and that you’d be going to bed early. Of course they had a moment of worry, Seokjin calling you to ask what had happened.
You gladly explained.
You told him how at work you had been misgendered many times, remembering how this morning you felt masculine and good about yourself unlike usual. You told him about how when you messed up this old mans order, he decided that splashing you with the coffee you were happy to take back all over your shirt, burning you in the process. You even told him how your boss yelled at you for letting the man do that, saying that a real man would know how to avoid that..
Though what you didn’t tell him, is that your car broke down on the way home, calling from a phone booth because your phone, surprise surprise, was dead.
To say the least, it took you a good two hours to get home, the sound of cars driving by, skin burning, stinging as your hoodie rubs against it. It hurt to say the least, and what hurt more is that you couldn’t just ask your boyfriends to pick you up, sweep you off your feet, and just hold you.
You finally arrive at home, tears filling your eyes as you open the door, the sound of the boys shouting in the living room heard, though it dies down when they hear the creak of the door. You walked in, kicking off your shoes, tossing your things to the floor as the seven dwarves walk in, seeing their prince on the verge of tears. You cringe when the burn starts to sting once again, them noticing making Seokjin rush to your side, which was your breaking point.
You broke into sobs, your usually cool and collected self breaking down in his arms, clinging to him despite the pain from the burn on your chest.
“Seokjin, please get his burn tended to and we’ll finish setting up cuddle night.” Namjoon hums out softly, kneeling to Kiss you gently on the forehead before getting up to leave, dragging the boys along to the large room you all shared when at home together.
“Lets get you cleaned up baby alright?” Seokjin whispers, his hand rubbing soothing circles into your back as you stayed teary eyed, holding him close only able to nod. ✨
✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨
✨ Seokjin had carried you, tending to your burns showering you in kisses and compliments, making your heart flutter and giggle shyly. Seeing you smile finally after crying, your eyes still red but your smile shy and genuine.
“Alright M/N, ready for cuddle night?” He asks, his smile gentle and kind as he finished up, a clean binder on your chest and along with bandages on your burns. You nod at his words, moving to get up before he stops you, picking you up himself making you laugh.
“I may be hurt but I can still walk you know.” You snort out, a smile on your face as you hug the broad shouldered male.
“I know, but you already did so much walking already, and you deserve it so let me do this for you.” Seokjin smiles, kissing the side of your head as he opens the washroom door walking to the huge bedroom. What was inside made you gasp excitedly, fairy lights on the walls lighting the room just enough to see your boys sitting on the bed. They all looked so cozy as well, all in their pjs, which was hoodies and their boxers, Hoseok, Jungkook, and Jimin shirtless unlike the other three who were buried in hoodies.
Namjoon had a book out, glasses perked on his nose with Yoongi hugging him, already half asleep with his eyes drooping closed. Taehyung and Jungkook were playing Overwatch it seemed, controllers in their hands with the TV shining brightly, showing the different characters they played, Jungkook playing Widowmaker and Taehyung playing Tracer.
Hoseok and Jimin were cuddling, their heads perking up when they see the light from the door opening, exclaiming your name in excitement as Seokjin places you on the floor, telling you to get into your pjs so cuddle night can commence.
You of course obey, asking them to look away while you change to which they all agreed to, pausing their games, hiding faces in shoulders and blankets while you put on your (Jungkook’s) hoodie with ease, putting on a pair of boxers before slipping into the bed making head perk up and arms open.
“Cuddle time!” Seokjin exclaims, turning the TV to a different setting so he can play a movie in the background. Of course it made whines escape the two youngest of the group, making you giggle as you maneuvered yourself between Hoseok and Jimin, Hoseok being quick to press up against you. Jimin whined, claiming that Hoseok was hogging you, but you opened your arms and he was quick to hold you and bury his face in your neck, wrapping your legs around the boy with a giggle.
The TV now playing a movie, the two youngest now whining like Jimin about how you were being hogged got smacked upside the head by Yoongi, who you had thought to be asleep.
It was moments like these that made you smile and become oh so grateful, they were just so perfect..
“I don’t deserve you all.” You finally whisper out, eyes closed as you cling to Jimin who’s breath was tickling your neck, not enough to make you giggle though. You can hear how everyone stops what they’re doing, before Jungkook pipes up,
“Who told you that? They’re a terrible liar.” He snorts, crossing his arms lying on Jimin who groaned at the sudden weight on him.
“I don’t know, I just.. You’re all so sweet, and I’m so.. Not sweet..” You mumble, a pout forming at your lips as you look at Jungkook who was also pouting at you, hair in his beautiful face making you reach up to move some out of his eyes.
“Sour. The word you’re looking for is sour.” Namjoon pipes up, before continuing, “But you are anything but sour my love, if anything you are the sweetest, most precious of us all. You deserve the world my love, and we won’t accept you thinking anything else but that.”
The boys nod at his words, hums of agreement, making you smile shyly with your eyes darting down to Jimin’s head of hair, it’s not soft but.. It’s still comforting, and you’ve always loved running your hands through it, even when his hair was oh so dead from all the bleaching and dying. Your eyes tear up, but this time its of joy rather then frustration, kissing Jimin on the head, then Jungkook on the nose as they were the closest aside from Hoseok who was behind you, kissing the back of your neck with a gentle smile on his face.
“Thank you..” You whisper, before having each of the boys come close to pepper you in kisses, being held tightly in place by Hoseok and Jimin. You can’t help but giggle, clinging to the boy in front of you trying to hide away, though it isn’t very successful as Seokjin grabs you gently pressing a Kiss to your lips.
“We love you M/N, never forget that.” He whispers, lips still against yours as he moves to rest his forehead against yours.
“And I love you all too, more then you could ever imagine.” ✨
“Now, Hold me Closer you big dorks it’s cuddle time!!” ✨
✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨
✨ Cuddle time was amazing to say the least, the boys showering you in love, their precious boyfriend who they loved dearly who couldn’t stop blushing and giggling.
You were half asleep, Seokjin had left a few minutes ago, the pile smaller and emptier with one missing, all of you whining in protest when he says he needs to make dinner for you all. You were still placed between Hoseok and Jimin who had fallen asleep, now playing Overwatch with Jungkook and Taehyung despite how little you played. You just wanted to join in, mostly bugging the two by being annoying and stealing kills from them with a giggle.
Before long, the smell of food came up to the door and Seokjin was calling the group of cuddle bugs for dinner, Namjoon the first to start getting up. He woke up Yoongi while you and the two youngest boys of the group moved to wake Hobi and Jimin, with you pinching Jimin lightly, to which he responded to biting your neck in response.
While Hobi was basically jumped by the two other boys, making him scream and fall off the bed with Tae and Jungkook.
To say the least it took a bit, with Jimin nipping at your neck making you squeak and move about, taking Yoongi to pull him off grumbling about how he needed to hold himself back no matter how sweet you looked. You all eventually made it out of bed to eat, some of the boys half asleep at dinner was served and everybody dug in.
It was quiet and sweet to say the least, everyone basking in each others presence as everyone ate quietly, everyone thanking Seokjin for the meal with a sleepy smile on their faces.
Everyone helped clean up at least a little, with you at the sink despite how the boys told you to go to bed.. You couldn’t help it, you were just the type of boy who loved to help, you couldn’t stand seeing your hard working boys do everything.
Seokjin hugged you from behind once the boys went back to the shared room, swaying from side to side humming softly as you did the dishes.
“I love you.” He whispers, his humming coming to a stop as he kisses the back of your head, making you shyly smile, eyes still to the sink before whispering a small. “I love you too, Kim Seokjin.”
The rest of the night was spent in bed uttering small ‘I love you’s and kisses, giggles and jokes thrown around. It was such a terrible day, but coming home to your boys made your day flip around, all you could do was smile now, the burn long forgotten and your heart fluttering. If we’re being honest, all the bad things from the day were long forgotten, you now snoring soundly in Jungkook’s arms who was kissing you gently.
Namjoon behind you, he was also placing kisses into your hair, hands on your hips as he rubs circles soothingly into your bare skin.
Moments like these.. They were irreplaceable, and you always wanted more, no matter how greedy it sounds it’s just that it was so much love, and you always wanted to drown in it. It was just that good.

CHAPTER 1
The truth was that there was something a bit gross about red carpet coverage. Yes, it was exciting and nervewracking in a good way, sometimes actually interesting conversations were held and most of the time - with the help of a little editing of course - the result was worth it. But there was also just a lot of waiting. Standing around. Constant screams around you. A. lot. of. fake. laughter. And that made sense in a way, who could keep their energy up for so long... well not me. Between interviews, I would just drop my shoulders, trying to relax my shoulders a little, just to cheer up again moments later, when I suddenly had another chance. Minutes of fast speaking, cheeriness and ... well, sometimes, yes, fake laughter would follow and then back to dreaming you could please take a nap on the sidewalk behind you.
"Cheer up! You forgot that you love this!" Nick, my cameraman murmured, his head still hidden from my view behind the camera on his shoulder. Still, I looked in his direction, my mouth fell open for a second. Jesus, he was right. Why was I complaining... when had I gotten used to all this spectacle to a point that I forgot that I was so very lucky. I was doing what I loved, just as much as the people I interviewed. How many people studying journalism and obsessed with music would actually end up where I now was. My own music show for a year now. Okay, online, not regularly on TV, but still financed by a network. But this was the 21st century and streaming numbers were probably more important to some than their own grandmother's life, yeah... I should have been more grateful. And while I stared at Nick, I could see a grin in the corner of his mouth, even though most of it was hidden. And then I grinned as well and interviewed Harry Styles. You know, casual Friday, some might say...
Somehow Nicks comment had saved my night. I forgot about the fact that I was tired, or that I had promised my mother three days ago that I would call and had never gotten around to it. Or that my ex-boyfriend was currently at the Great Barrier Reef with the girl he had told me nothing was going on with while we had been dating. It was me and people passioned about the art they were making, which hyped me enough to actually feel like I was doing a pretty good job of asking the right questions at the right time.
And still, Nick just hissed a hasty "Step it up!" at me when he realized that we had a pretty good chance at interviewing BTS next, even before I realized that they had gotten so close. I had definitely realized they were here somewhere, the screams had gotten so loud when they had stepped out of their car. But - bam! - suddenly a stern-looking woman pointed towards me and seconds later they were standing in front of our camera. Matching suits, polite smiles, super professional and me just in awe. Some clever editor would later play it up, as if I had actually gone into stand by mode, inspired by the fact that I turned around to the camera the next second and pretended I had lost my shit, before snapping out of it moments later, turning around again. "Oh my God. It's BTS, how are you guys?" They were professionals, but so was I.
I got two questions in before the woman tried to rush them away from me, but I pretended to not hear her and got one more question out there before we said our good-byes. Jimin waved at me like a toddler and for some reason, it made me "dawww". He didn't hear, but Namjoon, the last to move over to the next interview, did, turned around again and chuckled, before winking at me. I blinked. And then they were gone.
"Did Namjoon just low-key flirt with me?" I asked Nick, who was still recording me. "You wish..." he said, which made me laugh, and I nodded slightly, eyes closed as if to say "Guess so". Nick stopped recording and I dropped my shoulders again. Man, who was I to complain about fake laughing when I could go from quirky-hyper-music journalist-me to energy-saving mode in about five seconds? Checking my phone I realized it was time. I had to head inside, otherwise, there was no way I would make it backstage before stuff got really really hectic there.
The award show was alright. We didn't actually do any interviews backstage, the truth was that these things we so incredibly organized that there was no time to waste on the sidelines, no time for a chat unless it was pre-planned. This was all to show how much fun I was having, probably to be edited into a montage or something. And I mean... I was having fun... but then again it just sometimes felt a bit goofy, jumping around, clapping for people when they came off stage as if we were friends. After a while Nick and I had found a good spot where we weren't in anyone's way, could see the side of the stage and still had a monitor close to us that was showing us what the audience on tv saw. I finally relaxed a little after Nick had decided that he had enough material. He had set the camera down, and we were having a beer while watching the rest of the show.
It was towards the end of the show when the evening's hostess was giving a little speech about how much fun the event had been, followed by a montage of scenes from different celebrities getting ready to the red carpet. Nick said something about the fact that the turn around time for the clips was pretty fast, considering that some of this had happened only two hours before and I just made a "mmhh" sound to answer him when I was really checking my phone. Moments later he had kicked my shoe with his and I looked up confused. For a second I thought he was upset because I had not given him proper attention, but he gestured towards the screen and for a good reason. Because I was on there. Seemed like the behind-the-scene camera people had been standing right behind Nick when I had interviewed BTS. They showed my little "OHMYGAWD, IT'S BTS" moment and I had to smile, then there was a hard cut and next thing I saw was the whole "Did Namjoon just flirt with me?"-moment, just from a different angle. And with the knowledge that the whole audience inside the hall saw the same thing as well. I could hear the laughter and then while there was some sad applause, the live camera was in front of BTS, zooming in on RM... who was still looking up at a screen and seemed a bit overwhelmed, before acting all nonchalant about it towards the camera. The other boys were laughing their asses off, Hobi looked as if he was about to fall off his seat. Namjoon played the coolness up, even more, nodded into the camera, holding a hand up to his face, mouthing a "call me", before looking a bit uncomfortable the next second, maybe because he couldn't believe himself that he had just done that. And then they cut back to the hostess and I only realized that I had moved my hand in front of my mouth when I turned to Nick. He had laughed through the whole thing as well.
Okay. So, nothing about this whole bit had been particularly clever or as funny as everyone was making it out to be. Award show humor. What was funny was that everyone had seen my childish comment. Including the person, it had been about. It was harmless after all and so now I started laughing as well and I didn't stop for a good while. Yeah, I was a bit embarrassed. But at least they had made me look more relatable than desperate and Namjoon had taken the joke well.
When I got to my hotel room - several glasses of sparkling wine later - I realized my best friend, back home in New York, had texted me.
Lauren: [12:13 AM] So who is the new boyfriend? Me: [12:42 AM] If everyone who ever winked at me once was my boyfriend... Lauren: [12:47 AM] You'd still be single! ha!

I’ve been seeing so many people on here talking about baby fever, so how do you think they would be as dads? For some reason I can only picture jk as a girl dad and he’d be so gentle with her and do her hair🥺 I’m weaakk
WHY MUST YOU HURT ME LIKE THIS???!!!! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT DAD JK DOES TO ME?? AND THEN YOU WENT AND SAID ABOUT HIM WITH A DAUGHTER!!!! MY TEARS ARE EVERYWHERE 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Bangtan as dads hmmm I’ll do a little imagine for each because y’all need to cry with me (I’m sorry I’m not good at this stuff but here ya go 😂):
Namjoon: Imagine him with his son, teaching him to ride a bike from a young age. When his child is off the stabilisers and starts learning on two wheels, Joon makes sure his child is decked out in protective gear and runs along with him, holding out his arms incase his son falls. Then celebrates a cycling victory with the biggest cheers, making sure he tells everyone his son can ride a bike now 🥺
Jin: Imagine him watching children’s tv with his daughter before bedtime, he’s made her some warm milk which she’s sipping at from a bottle and he’s laughing with her at the funny parts, she ends up on his lap for cuddles... his partner comes in to find them asleep together on the couch while cuddling omg 😭
Yoongi: Imagine him in bed with his partner (just sleeping y’all not doing the deed, I know your minds 😏). His toddler daughter comes into the room early in the morning and climbs all over Yoongi’s face with her chunky little legs and fat little feet, waking him up . He moans and groans, still half asleep, then when she starts hitting him in the face (lovingly ofcourse, you know how toddlers are), he grabs her and blows raspberries on her tummy to make her giggle and tells her she’s a cheeky little one. Then he gets up and does her morning routine with her, letting his partner sleep longer 🥺.
Hobi: Imagine him buying his son a whole designer wardrobe and wanting to dress him everyday. He’d dress his baby and then exclaim like he does “WAH!” and take tons of photos of his son looking on fleek. He’d be so proud. Then imagine the day his baby starts walking 🥺, Hobi would be clapping so hard and jumping with excitement, he’d be LOUD about it 😁. He’d get him some hella cool shoes and take him on walks in the park, watching is son running around and playing little chase games 🥺
Jimin: Imagine him taking his daughter to disneyland 🥺. He’d go on all the kiddie rides with her, he’d buy her whatever she wants to eat and he’d get matching tiaras to wear with her. She’s his best friend/little princess and he teams up with her to make fun of/tease his partner on many occasions, this time laughing together when his partner is too scared to go on one of the rides meant for kids “you’re a scaredy cat!”. She’d go dressed as her favourite character and he’d make it his mission to find that character so she gets to meet them. And when she does meet them he’s the proudest dad ever, he almost cries. When they watch the fireworks he picks her up in one arm with his other arm around his partner, then carries her back home on his shoulders because she’s tired 😭.
Taehyung: Imagine him painting with his son. He buys him the biggest art sets, letting his son have free choice over what he wants to create 🥰. As a baby he’d strap him in a high chair and hand him a paintbrush, letting him get paint everywhere as both the baby and Tae become a giggly mess of colour. They’d get messy and create all kinds of things together, it becoming the thing they bond on. This would go on for years and as his son grows and continues to create art, Tae keeps putting them up in the family living room, proudly displaying all the pieces of art he adores. 🥰
Jungkook: (I’m gonna use your idea) Imagine Jungkook with his daughter, she has gotten used to him doing her hair because he’s so gentle and can do all the cute plaits and hairstyles so well. So every morning before school she gets ready then goes to her dad with a hairbrush and hair ties. He’s been watching youtube tutorials of new styles and always has something cute in mind when he ties her hair. She always loves it. Then he walks her to school, hand in hand, leaving her at the gate and watching her go in with the biggest proud dad bunny smile on his face 🥺.
This is too soft for this blog omg I am HURTING 😭😭😭

You see the seconds on the clock counting down, your heart pounding in your chest.
5, 4, 3, your favorite team is only two points down and is trying to beat the buzzer.
The player throws the ball past half court and into the hands of his teammate who turns to throw from the three-point line. As he shoots the ball you feel time slow down and you hold your breath.
2, 1 you see the ball flying, barely hitting the rim of the basket before falling through the net just as the buzzer sounds. The stadium erupts in cheers and you smile. You knew bringing him to this game was a good idea. Looking to your friend standing next to you, you can tell by his gummy smile that he feels the same. Still facing him, you glance again at the scoreboard.
“What did I say Yoongs? Never bet against Daegu.” He rolls his eyes and retorts, “I wasn’t doubting. I just said they were cutting it close.”
You stay in your seats for a few minutes while you wait for the stadium to clear out a bit. Deciding now would be the perfect time to order your Uber, you put in your order and see a few different messages from your other friends. Leaning back in your seat, you gesture to Yoongi to wait a moment while you respond to each one.
The first one you see is from Namjoon.
Namjoon: How’s the game going? Are you guys having fun?
Y/N: Sorry, I didn’t hear my phone go off. Yeah, the game was great! It was super loud though, but I think Yoongi enjoyed it too.
Next you see a few messages from Jin.
Jin: Hey text me when the game is over and we can probably meet up for drinks
Jin: Scratch that I went ahead and picked up a shift for tomorrow morning and you know I need my beauty sleep. Maybe next time!
Y/N: No worries! Just let me know when you’re free and we can hang out.
You see that you have a message from Jungkook as well
Jungkook: Hey me and the others were thinking about heading to my dad’s club next weekend, you in?
Y/N: I’m alright. Honestly, I’m not a big fan of clubs.
Y/N: Thanks for the invite though. Maybe we can do something else.
You’re beginning to wonder why they don't just message you through the group chat when you see a new notification.
Hobi: I need your help applying for some of these scholarships for next semester. I have to write a few letters and you know how bad my writing is.
Hobi: Please???
Y/N: Don’t worry about it. You free next week? How many letters do you need?
Finally, you see one last unanswered message.
Jimin: Tae and I were thinking about going to the beach tomorrow, wanna join us? Ask Yoongi too!
You look over at Yoongi and catch him browsing his phone as well, already knowing what his answer is going to be.
Y/N: Definitely! I don’t think Yoongs will come though. You know he doesn’t really like being outside.
Y/N: I think he’s supposed to visit his parents next week so let’s try to go then instead?
Y/N: Would you be willing to wait for me?
Rising out of your seat, you place your phone in your pocket and say to Yoongi as you stretch,
“I think the crowd has died down enough.”
He nods to you in response as he lets out a small yawn, and you can tell he’s getting tired.
“C’mon let's head out,” you say as you start your climb up the stairs towards the exit. You look back and continue with the suggestion, “let’s grab a few drinks to celebrate and head home. After all, it’s not every day my best friend turns 25.”
You are only met with a grunt which you consider translates to “that’s a great idea,” and finish your climb in silence,
As you reach the top of the stairs, you see that even the thinned crowd is still a giant mass of people.
‘So much for an easy exit,’ you think to yourself as you turn to Yoongi and see from his face that he’s thinking the exact same thing.
You realize that when you had the idea to take him to his first professional basketball game to celebrate his birthday, you didn’t take into consideration how crowded it was going to be when the game was over. Taking his hand, you lean close to him.
“Stay close. I’m gonna try and make a path for us.”
You then pull him along and start forcing your way through the crowd. When both of you finally make it out of the building, you lean against the wall, close your eyes, and breathe, thankful for the fresh air filling your lungs. From the sound to your left you can tell that Yoongi is doing the same.
You both really hate crowds, and you realize that this was probably the largest amount of people you two have been around in years. You pull out your phone to see how far away your Uber is, thankful that the app only says five minutes. ‘Good,’ you think to yourself, ‘I knew it was a good idea to wait until the stadium cleared a bit. This traffic is terrible.’ You look over to Yoongi and ask, “so, how do you feel? Did you have fun tonight?”
You knew when you bought the tickets that he wasn’t a fan of large crowds or loud noises, neither of you were, but you hope that he at least had fun seeing his favorite team in real life tonight. He looks away for a moment, forming his response.
“I really liked it. I’ve always wanted to come to one of these. Growing up you know my family never really had money, and basketball was sort of my way of escaping my reality. Even though I wasn’t the tallest or the fastest, playing gave me a sense of control that I wished I had over other parts of my life, so thank you.”
You understand, remembering how much his family was struggling financially when you became friends. How he struggled with his parents and his dreams of playing basketball and becoming a music producer. You lean into him and say, “I’m happy that I could make your birthday a good one.”
You look away, garnering your courage to admit what you have been wanting to say all night. “Honestly, I was a little worried about the noise and the crowd, but I’m glad we could do something together. It’s been a while since we spent some time together without all the others, you know.”
He smiles to himself, knowing just how you feel. He thinks for a moment about just how lucky he is to have someone like you in his life, someone who he doesn’t have to explain himself to and understands his way of thinking even better than he does sometimes. He quietly whispers under his breath too low for you to hear, “this is the best birthday I could’ve hoped for,” and looks away to the cars still exiting the parking lot. You both stand there in silence for a while, leaning on each other, lost in your own thoughts while waiting for the Uber to arrive.
You reflect on how far your relationship has come. Growing up together you both continuously saw each other grow into the people you were today. You remember how excited he was when he made the basketball team and the pride he developed for his position as shooting guard. He remembered how proud you were when you became the top student in your class and how your classmates referred to the both of you as “the dream team” dominating sports and academics.
He was good at every sport he set his mind to, basketball, soccer, and tennis. You worked hard to be at the top of your class while also being captain of your school’s debate team, math team and foreign language program.
You let out a sigh as you think about your other friends. You knew they wanted to join you tonight, but you could only manage to grab two tickets before the others sold out. You were lucky you even got these. You glance over at your friend, and you’re pretty sure his level of disappointment at it only being the two of you isn’t that high.
You and Yoongi first met them your junior year of high school after one of the other school districts was forced to shut down its campus due to a lack of funding, and yours was forced to merge with it.
Along with over 150 other students who would now compete with you and your best friend, came six others who would later become the people who knew you better than your own family. Jimin, Namjoon, Jin, Jungkook, Taehyung, and Hoseok were all strangers you both found yourselves competing against constantly.
Yoongi often found himself competing with Taehyung, Jungkook and Jimin for captain positions, and you found yourself having to fight tooth and nail to beat Namjoon, Jin, and Jungkook as well for the top spots in your clubs. The only two you didn’t have a problem with were Taehyung and Hoseok. That was until Yoongi decided to try out for the dance team and you developed an interest in photography.
Stuck together for hours and hours, you soon realized that although you were all different people you all actually had a lot in common besides your clubs.
You were all passionate about your dreams of success and you all agreed to help each other succeed any way you could. You came to a compromise that allowed everyone to succeed while always pushing each other to do their best.
His friendship with the others wasn’t as close as yours was. Even though you were all like a family to each other, you couldn’t help but feel like each of them grew closer to you than they had each other.
You shrug to yourself, not really feeling up to analyzing your friendships tonight, but looking over at Yoongi, you know he’s already thinking of how to tell the others how much he enjoyed tonight without making it seem like he had fun without them, and you wish that he felt like he could be more honest with how he feels sometimes.
Your phone vibrates in your pocket pulling you out of your thoughts, and you see that your ride has finally arrived. “Come on,” you say to Yoongi, grabbing his attention with a nudge of your shoulder.
“Let’s get something to drink then call it a night.”
Deciding to head to your regular bar, you and Yoongi order your drinks and take a seat in your regular booth towards the back.
After drinking your way through a4 bottles of soju, you think it is about time for the both of you to head out. You order another Uber and head to the bathroom, telling Yoongi to just wait for you outside.
Making your way out of the bar your head begins to spin and you chide yourself for not grabbing food before coming. You stumble outside and look around, not spotting Yoongi anywhere.
You could’ve sworn you saw him come out here before you went to the bathroom. You pull out your phone and text him.
Y/N: where are you
Seeing no response, you check the arrival time of your Uber and see it’s still a few minutes away.
You pull up Yoongi’s number and call him. The first call goes straight to voicemail and you curse as you dial his number again. This time even though you don’t get an answer you hear his phone ringing nearby. Searching for the source of the sound, you turn the corner and see his lit-up phone ringing on the ground in the alleyway.
It’s hard to see given that the only light is coming from a dimly lit bulb above the door on the side of the building, but it’s only a few feet away.
You look around and call out for him, already feeling yourself beginning to sober up as your heart begins to pound in your chest.
“Yoongi? Are you out here? Are you okay?” You take a deep breath and begin walking into the alley, becoming very aware of how quiet it has gotten.
Seeing nothing but a dumpster, some empty bottles, and some trash bags you reach down for his phone and pick it up. The screen is cracked, but you can see that it still works.
You glance around once more and realize how sketchy this feels.
Deciding to turn back you think to yourself ‘he probably just dropped his phone out here before going back inside or something.’
Your thoughts are interrupted however when you hear a bang against the dumpster. You turn around, and you hear it again though this time it’s quieter. You turn on your phone’s flashlight and quietly walk towards the dumpster, ready to run away if you need to. As you get closer you hear what sounds like a person moaning.
You dim your flashlight, turn the corner of the dumpster, and you freeze. What you see makes you want to scream.
Yoongi is lying on the ground against the wall covered in blood. He is being pinned down by a man dressed in black. Yoongi’s eyes slowly blink at you.
‘You have to help him! You have to help him’ your thoughts scream at you. You have to be smart though, you realize. Judging by his form, you can already tell that he is much bigger than you.
You look around for something, anything that you could use to save your friend. The man hasn’t seemed to notice you yet, but you know Yoongi can’t last much longer, not with the amount of blood he’s lost.
Deciding that your best option is to hit the man off of Yoongi, you quietly reach down for the biggest bottle you can find, and sneak up behind him before bringing it down on his head as hard as you can.
You see him lean forward, startled and injured by the unexpected attack, and you hit him again, this time reaching forward and pulling him off of your friend.
He seems to be knocked out.
You crouch down in front of Yoongi and look around for help. Out of the corner of your eye you see a person walking near the road at the end of the alley.
“Hey! Call an ambulance! Call the police, hurry!” you yell out to them and see them quickly run back towards the entrance of the bar.
You breathe a sigh of relief before looking back at your friend to inspect his wounds. You can already tell that he has two large gashes: one on his right side and one on his shoulder near his neck, and so much blood.
You can see his short breaths fogging up the cold night.
Reaching for his face, you whisper to him, already feeling your tears beginning to fall.
“Yoongs, it’s gonna be okay. You’re gonna be okay.”
Receiving no response, you say again, “Yoongs? Yoongi, can you hear me?”
You look at his wounds again and place your hands on them, hoping to stop any further bleeding until the ambulance arrives.
Suddenly you feel your entire body jerked backwards. You hear a crack as your body forcefully slams into the brick wall of the building. Feeling your breath leave your lungs, you gasp for air. Tasting copper on your tongue, you realize that your nose has started to bleed and reach up to touch the back of your head with your fingertips, only to realize that you’re bleeding from there as well.
You look up and see the blurry shape of the man glaring down at you.
His face looks angry and he is bleeding along the side right where you hit him earlier. “YOU!” he seethes in recognition as he brings his face near yours, already looking forward to repaying you for the wound on his head and growls at you. “They said to bring you in in one piece, but I don’t think a few scrapes would hurt.”
None of what he’s saying is making any sense to you right now.
‘Who is this man,’ you wonder. ‘Why does he seem to know you?’
Desperately glancing behind him at Yoongi you feel more tears fall. You realize that he’s losing too much blood. He probably won’t make it out of this; neither of you will.
You look at the man as he brings his hand to your throat, and you reach your arms out searching for anything that could help you. You feel your fingers graze the broken neck of a bottle as your vision starts to fade, and you know what you have to do.
Placing your free hand on his arm, you choke out “why are you doing this?”
Your nails are digging deep enough to draw blood now. “Because,” he says lifting you up by the throat as he brings his face close to yours once again, “you ruined everything. More importantly, you pissed me off.”
He looks you in the eyes and you see him pause before licking his bottom lip and bringing his face towards the left side of your head. You can faintly hear sirens in the distance.
Realizing that now is your chance, you bring your right hand upwards sharply and stab him in the neck with the bottle. You twist it in deeper, feeling his blood cover your hand and spray across your face. You hear him let out a scream as he staggers away from you and pulls the bottle out of his neck.
You see blood pouring out of his wound as he rushes forward and slams you against the wall for a second time.
You feel a sharp pain in your right side before you see him stagger away towards the end of the alley. You slide down the wall, your breathing shallow, and your hand trembles as it makes its way to your side.
Bringing your fingers up to your face, you can see that they are covered in blood.
You see that his blood has soaked into your shirt, and you weakly drag yourself over to Yoongi’s now barely conscious body, your tears falling slowly.
You notice the bleeding from the wound on his side has slowed down immensely, and you understand that it’s because he’s running out of blood to lose.
You whisper out to him, your vocal cords crying out in pain from the man’s grip,
“Yoongi? Please look at me... Yoongi!” You reach out and check his pulse, choking out a sob as you realize it’s too weak to feel.
You move one trembling hand and press it against your still bleeding side while your other hand makes its way to the wound on his neck.
After what feels like hours you finally see the flashing lights of the ambulance. You move your hand from your side to cup Yoongi’s face and see his eyes fall to your face as he looks into your eyes and blinks slowly.
” Yoongi”, you whisper as you feel yourself begin to black out, “please be okay,” you barely manage your last word before your eyes shut and you fall forward against him.
A few blocks away...
The man staggers through the empty alleyway, clutching his neck hoping to slow the blood loss. He was lucky that he drained as much of that kid’s blood as he had, otherwise the wound would have killed him.
What was he thinking? He had one job. One job: find the girl and bring her to the abandoned studio. One job, and he couldn’t even do that.
He knew that he shouldn’t have bitten that kid, but he just couldn’t help himself, it had been weeks since he last drank anything.
That bitch ruined everything. If she had just stayed inside a little bit longer, he would have sucked the kid dry and taken her without anyone noticing.
He didn’t understand what was so special about her anyways. The only thing not unmentionably plain about her was her eyes.
They weren’t beautiful or anything, but he couldn’t help but look at them and once he did, he couldn’t convince himself to tear his gaze away.
Shrugging off the thought, he makes his way to the meeting point.
Hearing the faint sound of sirens in the distance, he quickly ducks inside the dark building and hopes that his client is feeling benevolent.
He moves his hand from his neck and sees that his wound has already started to heal. Releasing a heavy sigh, he checks the wound on his head and finds it fully healed. The only evidence left is the dried blood it produced.
He walks down the quiet hallway and opens the first door to his right just as instructed. However, when he enters the room there is nobody there.
Looking at his phone he checks the time remembering that he was supposed to arrive by 1:30 am. He sees that it reads 2:00 am.
‘Shit,’ he thinks to himself. ‘They probably already left.’
Walking further into the room, he begins planning his next move when suddenly he hears the door slam closed and feels a presence behind him followed by a hand wrapping around his throat.
“So,” the figure says from behind him, their voice sounding like a whisper brought by a phantom wind.
“Not only did you fail to deliver the girl, but you also managed to leave an entire shitstorm in your wake as well. There was a reason the word ‘quietly’ was included in your instructions.”
The man gasps for air and tries to respond but only manages to let out a grunt.
The figure releases its grip on the man, and the man sinks to his knees, gasping for air while clutching his neck.
“I’m sorry” he rasps,” Just tell the brotherhood I’ll get her for sure next time.”
The figure lets out a huff before walking around the man.
He stops just in front of the man’s bent knees and lifts him by the throat once more, this time squeezing tighter.
“There won’t be a next time,” the figure whispers before breaking the man’s neck and walking away.

{ Dr Kang Seo Yoon was a very successful researcher and doctor of the hybrids and worked at the hybrid welfare center. She lived with her six hybrids- Jin, Yoongi, Namjoon, Hoseok, Jimin and Jungkook- who had grown up on her through the years when she found them at the rescue shelters. She was a kind and empathetic person who had used all her resources and knowledge for the betterment of the hybrid species. What will happen when she comes across an injured Panther hybrid Taehyung outside her house and decides to help him regardless of him being hardly human towards her. Will she take him in? Will he become a part of her sweet happy family? }
Chapter 1
The Injured Hybrid
" Wake up noona" Seo Yoon heard the voice of Jungkook shaking her from slumber. He nuzzled his face in the crook of her neck tickling her with his soft ears. She chuckled at his action and finally got up.
"Aish, kookie where do you get so much energy at 5 in the morning." You said gently rubbing his bunny ears. He purred.
"Noona everyone is sleeping and I have been up for a while. I didn't want to disturb you but you said you have to wake up early for your work today so I thought I should come and see" He said his cute smile on full display a faint shade of red on his cheeks.
"Let's go and make some breakfast for everyone then, you can help me" She said getting down from her bed and following Jungkook towards the kitchen. The 23 year old was always cheerful making sure everyone around him is happy too. For his age he definitely acts like a cute lil toddler but she loved him dearly.
"Kookie I plan on making fried rice and omelette for breakfast. I'll start with the rice could you whisk me some eggs?" She told him and he nodded while grabbing a large bowl and a crate of egg from the fridge.
Seo Yoon was cutting the vegetable when Jin walked in the kitchen his hair a mess. "Good morning Jin oppa" "Good morning hyung" You and Jungkook said at the same time.
She felt gentle hands at your back, untying your apron. “I can take over Y/N, why don’t you go take a bath? You have to be at the center early for the rounds right? " Jin said shaking your hair.
“Thank you oppa, what Would I do without you” she said, stepping away from the stove. If Seo Yoon weren’t cooking, Jin was. He loved the activity ever since you taught him how. Soon enough he surpassed her skills, creating mouth-watering dishes. In thanks, she rubbed his dark fox ears. He leaned into your touch, fluffy tail swaying.
"Noona shall I go and wake all the hyung while you get ready? " Jungkook asked.
"Yes kookie that would be really helpful. Tell them all to brush their teeth and come for breakfast. " She said and walked back to her room to get ready for the day. Seo Yoon and Jaehyun had to work hard today. It was an open out patient day and different shelters were bringing their hybrids for checkups. She took a shower and dressed up in jeans and a formal shirt tying her hair in a ponytail her beautiful bangs covering her forehead. She could hear the commotion of the boys from the kitchen. She took her white coat and some files and walked out towards them.
All of them were sitting on the counter eating their food. All the 6 hybrids looked cute in messy hairs and pyjamas while stuffing their mouths with food. She took out your phone and clicked a picture. The sound of the shutter gathering everyone's attention. Despite most of them being younger than her, she insisted on them calling her by her name as she felt really old though Jungkook still called her noona because he always wanted an elder sister.
" Aahh Seo Yoon, you look so pretty. Come join us for breakfast " Hobi said wagging his tail happily. She went to sit with them patting each of their hair as they smiled at her. Yoongi took her in a hug and passed her a travel coffee container filled with her favorite drink which he made each morning for her. She took a sip and groaned in pleasure while everyone laughed at her love for coffee which she shared with Yoongi. " What would I do without you Yoongi oppa. I can hardly work without your coffee. " She said and sat down to eat her breakfast.
*****
After breakfast Jimin went and kept her files and coat inside her car and Jin packed her lunch. She picked her bag and was ready to leave. Namjoon came to her and gave her a hug. It was their thing. Every hybrid hugged her before she went out showing affection. She kissed Joonie's cheeks and then hugged Hobi. Jimin and Jungkook group hugged her nearly trampling her on the floor with so much force and enthusiasm. Yoongi kissed her cheek as she went out to her car where Jin was ready to drive her to the center. He liked driving her and would spend an hr with shelter kids helping around and come back in an hour. His dark green silk scarf which acted as a collar sat perfectly on his neck. Jin dropped her at her office saying goodbye and going towards the shelters behind the building.
Seo Yoon entered her building and was immediately met with the strong smell of hospital which she has grown to call home now. She went to her locker and changed into her scrubs and came to her office which she shared with her best friend Jaehyun who as usual was late as always. 10 minutes later you heard the door open and a panting Jaehyun in his scrubs appeared before you.
"I'm sorry I'm late, before you say anything Seo Yoon, Ik it's third time this week and today we have a busy day ahead of us but what can I do I was watching a drama at night and couldn't get up early because of lack of sleep. " He ranted in a breath going on and on about how the protagonist if the drama was so stupid for not understanding the guy loves her.
She shook her head. " Aeyah!! stop talking Jae before I murder you. One day I'll give you a nice trashing for how casually you take me. " She said with a pout. He laughed at her and hugged her as she melted into giggles. She can never be mad at the kid. He was way too sweet and cute.
Somebody knocked at the door and a nurse appeared. " Dr Kang and Dr Jaehyun, the patients are here. We can start with the day. " She said and left.
******
Jae and Seo Yoon sat at the table and opened their lunches. Jin always packed food for your best friend who loved his food even though Jaehyun himself was an excellent cook.
"I'm coming to your place for the weekend. I really miss the boys. It's been a while. And this week we even have the Saturday off from shelter duty" Jae said with his mouth stuffed. She has lived so much around boys now that it's hard for her to remember what sophisticated people looked like.
"Why don't you just move in with me. You already live at my place nearly all the time when we aren't working" I scoffed. Her place is more or less like an open motel for her friends to stay in whenever they want considering the size of her big real estate. After her father's demise when she inherited his wealth. She decided to make a big place where she can adopt some hybrids and live happily. It had literally all the required materials a person could need to survive in luxury. She really had spoiled all the boys with 24x7 wifi and gaming.
Jaehyun shook his head and laughed at her scowled face. He loved teasing the older girl.
"Why noona that's an excellent idea. I'll have an amazing time with the boys and get free food. " She got up and punched his arm. She absolutely did not liked being called noona.
"I told you not to call me noona or I'll give you a good trashing. " She angrily chewed on her fish.
"Ayee you are biased Seo Yoon, why does jungkook gets to call you noona and all of us don't. " He teased her further.
"Well if you really want an answer he is more cuter, is good at everything, doesn't gives me a headache every 10 minute and definitely isn't a constant pain in my ass. " She said laughing and Jaehyun threw her a dirty look.
*******
When Seo Yoon left the hospital in the evening it was quite late then usual. Jaehyun had left half an hour ago but she stayed looking at the shelter kids who ran around each other enjoying life without a worry. She had a smile on her face and a tear in her eyes as she walked back to her home. She always liked walking back to home and it wasn't an issue as it was a highly safe residential society with great love for people and hybrid. She felt someone's presence behind her and immediately knew who it was.
"Jin oppa you didn't have to come I was on my way. " She said and turned to see a flustered Jin caught following her. He was worried that she was coming home alone so late and thought to accompany her.
"How did you know it was me? Do you have a secret third eye behind your head or something? " He said and took your backpack from you holding your hands firmly.
"Well I have been around you since the beginning. It's easy to feel your presence. It's a girl thing. " She said and looked in the front. They were very close to their home.
A young man clad in black outfit was walking in front of them. He had a slight limp and looked almost drunk from pain. As if he was drowning his sorrows. He was limping towards the other side when he suddenly disappeared from their eye sight.
"Oppa did you see that? " She asked Jin. Jin pulled her behind him and they both walked quietly towards the road crossing. A black van was parked ans the man from earlier was being pushed inside it. He was being abducted. 2 men pushing him inside. Jin quickly rushed towards the van. He pulled the man from the goons hold and layed the now almost unconscious man on the road side. This gave the goons time to flee. Jin was about to go after them when Seo Yoon stopped him.
She immediately knelt beside the man. He wasn't drunk. He was badly injured. His abdomen was bleeding and his legs were tampered. She tried helping him.
He groaned as she touched him to treat his wounds. He immediately backed up at an inhuman speed. This shook both of them.
"He's a hybrid oppa. We need to help him. " Seo Yoon said and Jin immediately called Yoongi to keep first aid ready.
The hybrid's cap fell from his face revealing two soft black cat like ears. His tale was brilliantly tucked in his pants not giving anything away that he wasn't human. He immediately tried fleeing from the human who looked at her with her almost teary eyes but he couldn't. He did not have the strength. He collapsed in her arms his world going black as the last thing he saw was the beautiful face of a teary eyed angel who somehow did not look like she wanted to harm him like other humans.
Seo Yoon was almost gonna cry after seeing the hybrid. He fell in her arms. His life almost slipping away. Jin picked him up and they rushed inside the house towards the guest room. Yoongi and the boys had kept all necessary medical aid that they know Seo Yoon kept for emergency on a table nearby. They were as astonished as the duo seeing how badly injured this hybrid was.
"What happened to you" Seo Yoon wondered out loud.

Movie Night (KNJ & MYG)
A/N: Whats up guys? I’m back. I haven't been updating much because I got a new job. I’ve been training at a new job in hopes to make some money while my other job is closed. I’m starting to like writing longer things, they’re kinda fun and mildly frustrating. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy! ~Breezy
Pairing?: Namjoon x reader x Yoongi
warnings?: making out?, fluff
Word Count: 3.2k
Fridays were always the best day of the week, not only was it the day before the weekend and the last day of work for the week but it was movie night. Movie night was the one thing you looked forward to, mainly because you never knew what day it was just not happen. You and the boys tried to have this tradition as often as possible, though when they were on tour or busy with a comeback it seemed nearly impossible. You always supported them and you were always so proud of them.
The boys had invited you over for once, usually they sneak to your place and huddle in your small living room but today you were the one being ushered into their large apartment. The second you opened the door you smelt popcorn and other food, you figured it was likely Jin’s doing. You kicked off your shoes, leaving it by the others before slowly following the voices towards the living room, Jimin and Taehyung seemed to be arguing over which movie you would be watching. Yoongi sat on the couch, not at all paying attention to the argument, in fact, he seemed to already have a movie in his hand. You snuck by the living room and headed towards the kitchen where you knew Jin would likely be and likely so would Hoseok.
Upon entering, you saw Jin with a large bowl of popcorn.
“You think that’s gonna be enough?” You say causing Jin to look up with the biggest smile ever, he sets down the bowl before engulfing you in the biggest hug.
“I missed you!” He beamed holding you close to him, this was the first time you’d had seen the boys since their tour.
“I missed you too,” you proclaim, “Now, lets go surprised the others. They didn’t see me come in.” You giggle, he nods,
“Wait here, let me get everyone here,” he tells you before he grabs the bowl of popcorn and walks into the living room, multiple footsteps could be heard as the rest of the boys come down the stairs. You quietly grabbed a glass for something to drink, setting the glass down on the counter, strong arms wrapped around your waist scaring you half to death. You held back a squeal as you looked over your shoulder to see Hobi with his wide smile. You wrapped your arms around his neck tightly holding him in a tight embrace. He was practically bouncing with joy as he held you close to him,
“Sh, I wanna surprise the other!” You say softly in his ear, he nodded excitedly still continuing to hug you close. You had always enjoyed hugs with Hoseok, they were always so warm and welcoming.
“Just a bit longer, I missed your hugs.” He mumbles holding you to his chest. His moment was quickly cut short when another set of arms wrapped around the both of you. You instantly knew it was Jungkook by the tight embrace. You knew the secret was out when you heard the pounding of multiple feet at once, oh no…
You were instantly surrounded by the warm loving embrace of the group of boys you called your best friends.
“Hi guys!” You squeal excitedly as they squished you into a group hug, there was chorus of cheerful hellos. The room was filled with laughter and just pure joy for a few moment before they pulled away.
“Now that I can see you all,” you giggle, you took the time to hug each of the singly starting with Jimin. Each member hugged you so differently, Jimin’s hugs were always so warm and gentle. Honestly you always thought of Jimin as if he was his Bt21 character, Chimmy. So small, sweet and just full out adorable.
“I missed you Jiminie.” You whisper as you held him tightly, he replied with the same before you pulled away from the hug.
Taehyung made sure he was the next person in line for a hug, his boxy smile growing wider. He opened his arms welcoming you in for a hug and you happily rushed into his arms. You snuggled close to his chest, always loving to snuggle in his arms. His hugs always so inviting and loving. He gently placed his chin on your head, hugging you like his life depended on it and when you would pull away he would pull you right back.
“Come on man! We all missed her!” Namjoon exclaims wanting his chance to hug you, Taehyung grumbled at this before letting you go. Course you went over to your gentle giant, Namjoon next.
Joon leaned down making it easier to hug you seeing as though there is a height different but you always had to make sure the ‘god of destruction’ didn’t hurt himself. Though he is very careful to not make a wrong move his arms are tightly holding you clearly showing that he missed you dearly. You and Namjoon were fairly closer than the others, the two of you learned new languages together, you even helped him write some of his music. You were practically always with him and if it wasn’t him, it was Yoongi.
When you approached him to hug him, he stood nonchalantly trying not to show the excitement that you knew was built up inside. You pulled him into a tight hug and he froze for a moment before returning the hug. Though Yoongi was taller than you, he hid his face in your neck hiding the obvious blush forming on his cheeks. It’s easy to say he was hiding it from his friends but you knew they wouldn’t make fun of him mainly because they to would blush. Like with Namjoon, you would spend time in Yoongi’s studio which surprised all the others seeing as though he was protective of his work. A joke had circulated around the group that you would often track any moans in his Agust D mixtape. Neither of you disclosed that information, and the group just assumed that you wouldn’t do this. It made you chuckle seeing as though you actually did for one track.
Mr. World Wide Handsome stood there proudly waiting for you to embrace him in a hug, you glare at him and he smirks.
“Who says I’m gonna hug you?” You tease with your hands on your hips. He fake gasped and pouted his full lips. You open your arms waiting for him to come to you, he huffed at this before walking towards you and pulling you into a hug. You loved his hugs, Jin had always been something of a brother to you he had taught you just about everything. He was always the type to give you hugs when you were angry and they would calm you down in an instant.
Lastly, Hobi and Jungkook, both of them eager to hug you so they just squished you in between them. You had become the center of a Kookie and Hobi sandwich. With Kookie strong grasp and Hobi’s general happy attitude, it made you feel safe and almost at peace.
Once all the hugs were done you were practically dragged out to the living room area by Jimin, who practically threw you onto the soft couch.
“Was that necessary?” You giggle as you sit there waiting for the others, Namjoon took a seat on your right. His scent was so sweet and intoxicating, the soft scent of vanilla and the spicy yet sweet smell of cinnamon, it honestly reminded you of a cinnamon roll. It was delightful and inviting, unconsciously shifting closer to him which he doesn’t seem to mind. The others slowly filed into the room with snacks and drinks for everyone to share. Jungkook handed you a cup filled with what you figured was sprite, seeing as though they seemed to be loaded with that stuff. You weren’t complaining and you honestly didn’t mind. You took a sip and then noticed how to seat next to you was still empty, typically the guys were fighting for a seat next to you. That was the first thing that caught your attention, the second was how one of them seemed to have vanished as the title screen of the movie came on.
“Are we not going to wait for Yoongi-hyung?”Jungkook asked but Tae was quick to hit the play button,
“He said to start without him,” Tae shrugged as he got comfy in his seat next to Jimin, you glanced over at Namjoon, curious to see his reaction but he was focused on the screen in front of him. You were slightly concerned when a horror movie popped up on the screen, who would have picked one of those? You knew how easily scared Jimin and Hobi were, last you knew Joon, Jin and Tae weren’t either. Usually Yoongi and Jungkook were the only two who didn’t seem to mind them.
You glanced back up at Joon, “Joon?” You questioned, “Who picked this movie?” You asked almost nervously, he glances down at you.
He leans down a bit and whispers, “I think Yoongi did,” he responds, “But it’s not too scary,” he shrugs. Why was everyone acting so strange? You decide not to question anymore and focus on the movie.
It was maybe 10 minutes into the movie and the atmosphere was already unnerving and it honestly scared you. You found yourself nuzzling closer to Namjoon’s side hoping to feel safer being closer to him. His scent slightly calming your senses and relaxing you. You felt him tense slightly but relax, gently wrapping an arm around your shoulder his thumb gently rubbing your shoulder.
You nearly jumped out of your skin feeling someone sit next to you and wrap their arm over your shoulder.
Your head shot over towards the person to see Yoongi had finally joined you, “Y-Yoongi?” You mutter softly looking at him clear panic on your face. He gave you a reassuring smile before making eye contact with someone behind you, you assumed that that person Namjoon. You felt squished between the two men, feeling so safe, warm and just at ease that is until a jump scare happened on screen cause you to jump and burry your face into Namjoon’s neck. He tensed up at this, visibly nervous at your action though he proceeded to hold you close. You felt Yoongi scoot closer to you literally pushing you flush up against Namjoon both of their scents mixing together deliciously.
Much to your surprise, Yoongi from time to time would warn you of the scary parts but would still hold you close knowing you were likely scared. The two of them were holding you the entire movie, even after that one ended and a more appropriate less scary movie was put in.
Relaxing a bit, you leaned back against the couch letting out a soft yawn catching the two men’s attention. Your head dropped onto Yoongi’s shoulder, your eyes fluttering shut slowly before slowly drifting off to sleep.
You awake to silence, soft breaths that didn’t belong to your own. You quickly became aware that you were surrounded by warmth. Your back pressed again something solid as you curled closer to the warmth, the person in front of you seemed nuzzle closer as you moved. Your eyes slowly opened, trying to take in where you were and who you were currently snuggled into. You nearly gasped in shock seeing a sleeping Yoongi cuddled in front of you. Hair hair slightly disheveled but his features soft as he lay asleep. After seeing him you knew almost automatically that the man behind you was Namjoon. You felt him move closer, his face nuzzling in your neck not only tickling the skin but causing a shiver to run up your body. Your body desperately wanted to react, holding back a moan as his soft lips gently brushed against your skin.
You closed your eyes, taking a deep breath to hopefully calm your nerves. This wasn’t the first time you had spent the night at the boys place but this was the first time you were so nervous. Feeling them so close made your heart skip a beat and the butterflies in your stomach kicked up. No one had ever made you this nervous, not even the few guys you had dated in the past. You snapped out of your thoughts hearing Yoongi groan softly, not wanting to be caught you closed your eyes pretending to be asleep. You felt his hand gently caress your cheek as you lay still, his hand warm against your cheek.
“She’s not awake yet,” Yoongi whispers softly to who you assumed was Namjoon,
“Lets let her rest then,” Namjoon says, though you didn’t want them to leave. You snuggle closer to Namjoon, groaning softly in hopes to play this off.
Hearing Joon chuckle meant that you were likely doing a good job, “Guess she doesn’t want us to get up.” He chuckles,
“More like doesn’t want you to get up,” Yoongi grumbles, you tried to hold back your smile as you threw one of your arms over him and trying to hug him close.
You opened your eyes and giggle, “I don’t want either of you to leave,” you admit nervously, something inside of you yelled at you for saying that. Nothing was said after that though, but actions often speak louder than words. Yoongi seemed to be the daring of the two of them, you had always expected him to be but you knew once he did anything he would be a blushing mess. He pushed himself closer to you gently placing his forehead against yours, your heart rate increased being so close to him. His dark eyes peering into yours, they were almost looking for permission which you would happily give him. He leans forward his lips gently brushing over yours almost as if he was expecting you to pull away but you surprised him by leaning forward fulling pressing your lips to his. He held you close kissing you with as much passion as he could muster, knowing him you had always known he was bad at showing his emotions but this, you knew exactly how he felt. You had nearly forgotten that Namjoon was behind you until you felt him gently leave a kiss on your exposed neck. You pulled away from Yoongi slowly both of you trying to catch your breath, you were having a harder time seeing as though Namjoon continued to kiss your neck.
“J-Joon,” you stutter softly unsure of what to do next,
He chuckles against your skin, “Well I figured I should show you a little love too,” he pouts causing you to blush.
Slowly you managed to turn and face him, the smile plastered on his face was wide and just adorable. His cute dimpled smile made you blush but it distracted you from the fact that he was so close to you. He wasted no time, leaning forward placing a soft yet needy kiss on your lips. You felt Yoongi gently rub your hips, trying his best to not disrupt your moment with him. You might honestly wouldn’t have pulled away if it hadn’t have been for Yoongi leaving a gentle nip on your neck.
“Guys,” you whine looking at the both of them, you just wanted to understand all of this. They both snuggled into you. Slowly you sit up, Namjoon face falling into your clothed chest, not that you didn’t not like the cuddling but you wanted to look at both of them while you spoke.
“Wh-What does this mean? For us?” You question, “L-Like I’m not complaining that this just happened but~” you began to ramble, nonstop trying to find the right words to make sense of the kiss you had shared with the two of them. Both of them sat up, glancing at you with curious looks before looking at each other.
“Well,” Namjoon began, “We have liked you for a little while now and we thought that maybe… We could be in a relationship together.”
You sat in silence for a moment, they wanted to date you? Both of them?
“Y-You both, want to date me?” You stammer still trying to process their words fully. The two of them taking your free hand in theirs,
“Yes, we care so much about you and we would do anything for you.” Yoongi mumbles, snuggling cutely into your side.
“We wanna give you the world,” Namjoon says softly looking at you, “We obviously won’t make you, we just care so much for you.” He says genuinely, you feel you skip a beat. Two of the most handsome men you had ever met, want to date you.
“O-Okay,” you whisper causing both of them to look at you, “H-How did I get so lucky,” you say softly looking first at Namjoon, then at Yoongi.
“More like, how did we get so lucky?” Namjoon gently caresses your cheek in his hand slowly pulling you towards him into a soft kiss. You didn’t waste a second, kissing him back with just as much passion and love. Your fingers ran through his light hair, hoping to bring him closer than he already was but they both had a better idea. Namjoon pulled away only for Yoongi to pull you into a sweet kiss, Namjoon’s lips brushing against your neck, leaving soft kisses down the column of your neck. Yoongi pulled away from your lips, following Namjoon’s lead he began to trail his soft lips down the opposite side of your neck. Your breath hitched feelings their soft lips teasing your skin, holding back soft whispers and moans as they teased the sensitive skin. You figured they would have continued if there wasn’t a knock on the door, disturbing the intimate moment the three of you were sharing.
“Namjoon, Yoongi! You’re gonna be late for practice!” Tae yelled from the other side of the door, “I know you wanna spend time with (Y/N) isn’t going anywhere,” you heard him and Jimin laughing.
“Just give us a minute!” You yell to them, Yoongi’s lips never left your neck as Namjoon stood from the bed.
“Come on Yoongi, we have to go,” He tells his friend, he grunted against your neck. You felt his tongue gently run over the skin before he gently nibbled and sucked the skin at the base of your neck. Your breath caught, trying to hold back any unwanted sounds.
“Don’t hold back anything beautiful,” you hear Namjoon say, Yoongi sucked a little rougher this one obviously leaving a mark. The soft gasp that left you lips made it apparent to the both of them that you were enjoying this.
“This spot is mine,” he growled into your neck, causing you too shiver. You felt the bed dip from behind you, Namjoon’s lips trailed from the bottom of your neck, all the way up. His lips gently caressing the spot behind your ear, he kissed the spot for a few moments. He gently nibbled on the spot before he left his mark on you. The soft moan that passed through your lips made him chuckle,
“And this spot is mine,” he whispered huskily into your ear.
You tried to catch your breath, “N-Now you both need to go to practice. I’ll be here when you get back,” you whisper not particularly looking at either of them. They both left gentle kisses on your check before they left the get dress and leave. Before walking out the door, they placed sweet kisses on your lips.
“We will be back later,” Namjoon says, he voice sweet.
“I will be here waiting for the both of you,”

Track 21: Hard work / Part 1 / Part 2
Music Video Shoot, No More Dream-May 18th 2013
The music video was going to be filmed in a studio in Gwanju. Aviva woke up extra early to make lunchboxes for the boys, before she had to drive them down.
Soonyoung wandered into the kitchen, rubbing her eyes.
She looked around at the lunchboxes and frowned.
“You do too much for those boys.”
Aviva shook her head. “I don’t think so. They work hard, so I just want to support them. And it makes me happy to do so, you know.”
“Well, I’m glad it makes you happy, but you need to take care of yourself too, you know.” She pointed at the lunchboxes. “There are only seven of those, did you even think about what you would be eating?” Aviva blinked slowly. Soonyoung sighed and waved her hand. “You go get dressed, I’ll throw something together for you.”
“I love you.” Aviva kissed her on the cheek as she left the room.
“Love you too!”
In the waiting room, Aviva fiddled with the settings on her camera.
“Hi, noona,” Jungkook said, sitting next to her. “Like my makeup?”
She glanced at him. “Yeah. You look cool. I like the eyeliner.” She looked back at her camera, frowning.
“Wow, is that a new camera?” He wondered. She nodded. “Looks fancy.”
“It was a gift from the company,” she told him quietly. “Chief Kyungso and the marketing team liked my idea about posting the behind the scenes footage and want me to do a whole series.”
He smiled. “Daebak!”
“I guess…”
He titled his head. “Isn’t that a good thing?”
“It is, but I’m worried about getting enough footage,” she admitted.
“I can help you with that,” Jungkook said. “I’ve got a camera too!” He pulled his out of his bag. “Let’s go find something interesting to film.”
Jungkook approached Jimin. He got a close up shot of Jimin’s face.
Aviva switched her camera on, filming Jungkook filming Jimin.
“Filming like this… what are you planning to do?” Jimin asked him suspiciously.
“Zoom~ Zoom~ Zoom~” Jungkook sang, zooming in on Jimin’s face. Aviva laughed quietly. Jungkook turned his head and grinned and at her, still filming Jimin. “See? Now you’ve got two angles on Jiminie, that’s interesting enough, right?”
“Ah, my skin’s not really…” Jimin held his hand up to block Jungkook’s shot.
“Your skin looks great,” Aviva assured him. “The fans are gonna be jealous.”
Jimin giggled nervously.
Jungkook turned, getting a shot of himself in the mirror. Aviva ducked out of the way. Jimin popped his head up to block Jungkook’s shot.
“What are you doing?” Jungkook asked. “I’m filming here…” Jimin smirked playfully, stepping in the way again. “Ah…” Jimin kept blocking his shot as Jungkook kept trying. Finally Jungkook held the camera high over Jimin’s head. Jimin pouted.
“No fair!” He grumbled. Jungkook laughed. “Yah!” Jimin walked away.
“What are you up to?” Hoseok walked over to them in one of his music outfits.
“I’m helping Avi-noona with her behind the scenes footage!” Jungkook told him. Hoseok looked at her.
“Is he being helpful?”
Aviva made a noncommittal noise. “Yah!” Jungkook said.
Hoseok laughed.
“You have cheered me up, though,” Aviva told Jungkook. He smiled.
“How do I look, Avi Avi?” Hoseok asked her.
“Hmm…” She leaned her hand on her hip, studying him. “Pretty good.”
Hoseok pouted.“Only pretty good?”
“She told me I looked cool,” Jungkook bragged.
“Of course.” Hoseok tapped his camera lens. “That’s cause you’re her favorite.”
“I don’t have favorites,” Aviva said. “And don’t mess with his camera lens, it’s not polite.”
Hoseok sighed. “You don’t think I look cool?”
“It’s just not as… impactful as the other looks,” Aviva thought. “I think I like the spiked hair and the plain mask look the best.” He blinked at her.
“You memorized all my outfits?”
“To the best of my ability…” She grimaced. “Fashion eludes me. Joonho-ssi has a list of streetwear brand names for me to memorize.”
Hoseok laughed. “I have faith in your abilities, Avi-yah.”
“Anyway, I think all three of us are good-looking! Jungkook said, gesturing at them. Hoseok nodded and grinned. Aviva pressed her lips together uncertainly.
“Don’t you argue with that,” Hoseok said, wagging his finger at her.
“Ah, can I get a video of you two together?” Aviva asked, holding up her camera.
Hoseok laughed. “Don’t think I didn’t notice you changing the subject, but, okay.”
“Let’s do it!” Jungkook switched off his camera. “What’s up?” Hoseok held up a peace sign and pouted at her. “We’ve come!”
“Yeah!” Hoseok wrapped his arm around his shoulders.
“Log duo!”
“Log duo.” Hoseok nodded, clapping him on the shoulder. They stared at her. “Is there anything you wanted us to do in particular?”
“Um…” Aviva bit her lip.
“What should we play with…?” Jungkook looked around.
“What should we do~” Hoseok singsonged.
“Let’s try and guess the answer~” Jungkook sang.
Aviva’s phone went off. “Ah, time for your close-up, Hobi!”
“Want to tag along?” He offered. She nodded.
“Is it okay?” Jin asked, gesturing down at himself. “Do I look cool?”
Aviva tilted her head.
“Not your best look,” she said honestly. Jin’s eyes widened. She waved her hands hurriedly. “Ah, but that’s just a personal preference—I’m sure there will be some people who prefer this look!”
“Oh?” He smirked a little. “What look do you prefer, then?”
“Hmmm… I think I liked the black top on you better,” she told him. “Shows off your arms better.” He blushed slightly, but nodded.
“I do have good shoulders.”
Namjoon walked up to them. “What are you two talking about?”
“Jin-oppa’s shoulders,” Aviva told him. Namjoon raised an eyebrow.
“And that was so important you needed to film it?” He pointed to Aviva’s camera.
“You were filming that?” Jin asked.
“…I’m still filming,” Aviva informed him. Namjoon laughed as Jin made an embarrassed noise. “I thought you noticed!” She bowed slightly. “Sorry, I’ll edit it.”
“Alright, alright.” Jin sighed. “What about you?” He looked at Namjoon. “You seem nervous.”
Namjoon blinked at him.“I do?”
“A bit,” Aviva agreed.
“I guess I have been wondering…” Namjoon pushed his sunglasses down over his face and looked at her. “We’ll be able to do well, right?”
Jin and Aviva exchanged a knowing look.
“Of course,” Jin said. “I’m too handsome for it not to go well!”
“…On a more serious note—” Aviva said.
“Yah!” Jin protested. “I am being serious!” Namjoon snorted.
“—However it’s received, you’re working hard, so you should feel proud of that,” she said, looking at both of them.
Namjoon squeezed her shoulder. “Thanks.”
During the lunch break, Aviva brought the lunchboxes into the waiting room.
“Yes!” Jungkook said.
Jimin looked almost tearful.
“Why are you so surprised?” Aviva asked him. “You’re the one who asked me to…”
“I didn’t think you’d actually do it!” He hugged her. “You’re the best manager ever!”
Aviva patted him on the back a bit. Hoseok gave her a thumb’s up.
“How come yours looks different?” Jin asked her as they ate.
“Oh, Soonie made this one for me,” she told him, smiling fondly down at the food.
“…Switch with me?” Jin asked, holding out his lunchbox.
“Yah, appreciate the effort manager-nim went to!” Namjoon said, kicking Jin’s foot.
“I do appreciate the effort,” Jin said. “Really, I do. I just…” He gazed longingly at Aviva’s lunchbox. She chewed for a moment and then held out a bite on her chopsticks. Jin blinked at her and then leaned over—Taehyung chomped it up before he had the chance. Everyone laughed.
Aviva watched nervously as Yoongi climbed over to sit on the hood of a school bus.
“Don’t worry manager-noona!” Jimin said. “I didn’t fall off, so I doubt he will!”
“I will if you keep yelling like that!” Yoongi shouted back at him.
“Quiet on set!” The director called out.
Aviva filmed Yoongi as he fooled around with the basketball.
He spun it over his arms. “Want to see it in reverse?” He asked her. She nodded. “Okay. So you keep at it, and then…” He flipped it over his shoulder, around his head onto his other arm.
“Ooh!” Hoseok said from behind them.
“Not bad!” Namjoon agreed. Yoongi grinned, bouncing the ball and then losing it. “Whoa whoa whoa whoa…” Hoseok snorted as Yoongi ran after the ball. “Not bad?”
“Not bad!” Hoseok teased.
“It’s not easy,” Yoongi said, coming back over to them. “But since it’s a leather ball, it’s quite lightweight and easy to spin too…” He spun it on his finger.
“Hyung, pass it!” Jungkook said from the side.
Yoongi bounced it to him.
“I played basketball back in the day,” Yoongi told Aviva.
“I know,” she told him, switching off the camera. He smiled.
“And you played soccer.”
“Eh, is that right?” Hoseok asked. “I want to play play soccer with you~”
“How come you didn’t come play with us when we filmed the graduation video?” Jungkook wondered, still bouncing the ball.
“I had meetings all day that day, remember?” She told him.
“Oh yeah…” Jungkook tossed it the ball at her. She trapped it against her chest (narrowly avoiding her camera hanging by her stomach) dropping it to her feet, and stepping on it.
“That doesn’t hurt?” Hoseok wondered. “With the…” He motioned at her chest.
“Yah!” Jungkook said, frowning at him. “Leave her alone.”
“I was just asking a question,” Hoseok said.
“It doesn’t hurt,” Aviva said. “You’re supposed to catch it here.” She tapped the top of her chest, just under her collarbone. “Not… lower…”
“Hmmm…” Hoseok stared at her.
“Hope,” Namjoon warned him.
Aviva kicked the ball, catching Hoseok between the legs.
“Ow, fuck, Avi, why’d you do that?” He said as the other three boys laughed and winced.
“What, did it hurt?” She asked, blinking innocently at him.
“This is a long day~” Jungkook thought, retrieving the ball.
Because they would be working very long days during the shoot, they would be sleeping at a hostel nearby.
Aviva drove them to the building and then went to her room with a few assistants. The other girls were drinking and gossiping, but Aviva fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.
May 19th 2013
On the second day of shooting, Hoseok, Jungkook, and Aviva headed out a little early. Hoseok spent the morning with his family, while Jungkook and Aviva had offered to help with the set design.
By the time the others arrived on set, Jungkook and Aviva were putting the finishing touches on the graffiti they’d done.
“Avi-yah~” Jin whined, hugging her from behind. “I don’t know how you always drive these brats around. They never stop squabbling.”
Aviva shrugged. “You get used to it.” Her phone buzzed. She glanced at it. “Ah, they want you in hair and makeup.”
Aviva followed Yoongi as he got ready for his solo shot.
“Ah, I’m nervous.” He looked at her. “Do I look cool?”
She looked him over.
“You’re sweating a lot…” She handed him a packet of tissues. He held them to his face, pouting. “But you still look cool.”
He smiled. “Thanks.” He let out a breath. “Ah, it’s warm today.”
Aviva nodded. “Jiminie and Kook keep walking around with their shirts off.”
“They do that anyway,” Yoongi pointed out.
“Manager-noona~” Taehyung said as he approached them. “The director wanted to talk to you.” Her brow furrowed.
“I wonder what for?”
They followed her. It turned out, the director was asking her if she wanted to be one of the extras in the group scenes. Aviva thanked him and politely refused.
“You should have done it!” Taehyung whined. “Then we would’ve got to see you dressed up cutely! Did you see the girl in the leather shorts? You would look so cool…”
“It’s fine,” Aviva said. “I don’t have to look cool, that’s your job.”
Taehyung frowned. They looked up as the break was called to an end. “We have to do well for our fans…”
“You’ve got this,” Aviva told him.
“It’s not that hard!” Hoseok said after they finished filming the scene. But his laugh was a little breathless.
“Hope,” Joonho said, walking onto set. “It’s time to change masks.”
Hoseok groaned. “It’s hard to breath in that thing.”
Joonho grimaced. “Sorry.” He helped fit it onto Hoseok’s face.
“You look cool, hyung!” Jungkook assured him. “We can do it!”
“It’s so warm…” Hoseok muttered. Aviva reached over and carefully dabbed at Hoseok’s forehead with a tissue. He smiled. “Thanks, manager-nim~”
“Getting more behind the scenes footage?” Yoongi asked as he spotted Aviva walking around with her camera. She hummed in affirmation. “Hmmm. Watch this.” Yoongi started to dance to the music playing in the room. “Jin-hyung, Jungkookie!” Yoongi shouted at the nearest two members. “Get over here!”
“Okay!” Jungkook said excitedly.
“If I must…” Jin sighed, coming over. The three of them danced through one of their routines. Aviva couldn’t help but laughing, several of the stylists and makeup artists joining her. Kim Jihye, the young leader of the makeup team laughed the loudest.
“Aw, fuck,” Aviva muttered, frowning at the screen on her camera.
“Aviva-yah!” Jin said, putting his hand to his chest, looking appalled. “Such language!”
“Blame him.” Aviva pointed at Namjoon. “He taught me how to curse in Korean.”
Jin advanced on him.
“Now, hold on, hyung!” Namjoon said, speeding away as Jin went after him.
“I don’t know why he doesn’t let us curse,” Jungkook said, frowning.
“He lets me and the hyungs curse if we’re not around the rest of you,” Taehyung said.
“But, I’m older than you,” Aviva said.
Jimin frowned. “And I’m the same age as you!”
Taehyung shrugged. “You three…” He pointed at them and then Jungkook. “Have an air of innocence to you that really gets to him.”
Yoongi nodded. “Yeah,” he agreed. “It’s easy to want to baby you.” Aviva frowned. “Anyway, what’s wrong with the camera?”
“It’s stuck in night vision some how,” she said, showing it to him.
“Huh…” Jungkook turned it on himself, folding the screen back so he could look at the footage while he filmed. He made faces and wiggled his fingers. “That’s kind of fun.”
“Let me see.” Jimin took it from him. “I look like a vampire! I look cool!” He giggled. “Oh! Not bad…”
“My turn.” Taehyung took it. “Ah, you’re right, manager-noona, that is night view.” He quietly sang some of the lyrics to No More Dream as he is filmed himself. “Hyung, you want a try?” He held the camera out to Yoongi. Yoongi took it.
“I look like I have cat eyes…” He smirked. “Interesting…”
Aviva laughed. “Okay, maybe I can use this footage after all.”
May 20th 2013
Aviva was leaning on the car, drinking cheap coffee out of a paper cup when the boys walked up to her with suspicious smiles on their faces.
“…What’s up?” She asked them.
“Happy Coming of Age Day!” Jin said, pulling a small bouquet of roses out from behind his back and holding it out to her. She stared at it.
“We couldn’t afford twenty, but we each chipped in for one,” Namjoon told her.
“And Soonyoung-noona gave me this to give you from her mom,” Hoseok said, holding up a bottle of perfume. “Honestly, I’m still confused about whether we’re supposed to come of age this year, or next year, but…” He shrugged. “I guess we can always celebrate twice?”
“You two and Yoongi-hyung get this year, because of the new ordinance, and I get next year with those two,” Namjoon said, pointing at Jimin and Taehyung.
Aviva took the yellow crystal bottle from Hoseok.
“From Soonyoung’s mom?” She asked quietly.
“That’s what noona told me,” Hoseok said. Aviva wiped at her wet eyes with the back of her hand. Hoseok’s eyes widened. “You okay, Avi?” She nodded.
“I just didn’t expect her to…”
“I’ll drive again this morning,” Jin said. “You take the flowers and give me the car keys.”
She frowned. “But you complained so much about it yesterday!”
“Promise I won’t complain,” he said. “Just take the flowers.” She sighed and reached into her pocket, giving him the keys and taking the bouquet.
She sat in the back next to the window and Hoseok.
“What about you?” She asked him as Jin drove.
“My parents gave me presents yesterday!” Hoseok told her.
“Also, they’ve been fighting over who gets to give you a kiss all morning!” Jungkook told her. He laughed as other boys shot him various annoyed and embarrassed looks.
“Nobody gave me a kiss,” Yoongi muttered. Aviva glanced at him.
When they got out of the car at the studio, Aviva leaned up and kissed Yoongi on the cheek. He grinned widely.
“Oh, and…” Aviva took Hoseok’s hand and kissed him on the knuckles.
He gasped, resting his hand on his chest.
“My prince!”
Jungkook snickered. Jin nodded. “My charming apprentice.”
Namjoon sighed. “Save one for me next year, Avi…”
“Me too!” Taehyung said.
“And me!” Jimin added.
“And for you!” Hoseok nuzzled the side of her face and then gave her a kiss on her temple.
Towards the end of the day, they stood in the hallway, waiting for the next scene to be prepped.
“How’s everyone feeling?” Aviva asked, getting a shot of them standing side by side.
“I’m a bit sad, since it’s the last day of shooting,” Jimin said.
Jin attacked him with a hug.
Aviva’s phone buzzed. “Ah, makeup and hair check!”
Everyone started to disperse. Jihye ran over to Jimin with a small comb that she used to adjust his eyelashes. Aviva frowned, looking around.
“Where’s Kook?”
“What are you doing without me?” Jungkook asked, popping into frame and pouting.
“Just asking how everybody’s doing,” Aviva told him.
“And hugging people!” Jin said, hugging him from behind.
Jungkook winced.
“You okay, Kookie?” Aviva asked him.
“Pretty good, except for this headache.” Jungkook motioned at his head.
“Eh, you have a headache?” Jin said.
“Still missing Yoongi-oppa…” Aviva muttered, looking around.
“You called?” Yoongi walked over, looking curious as he wrapped his arm around Jin’s shoulders. Jungkook nodded, still wincing.
“Yeah, I have a headache.”
“I know the cure for a headache,” Jin bragged.
Jungkook looked at him. “What is it?”
“It becomes fine if you have pain in other places,” Jin explained.
“Seokjin-oppa…” Aviva said, sending him a warning look.
“Yap!” Hoseok said, coming up behind Jungkook and slapping him on the back.
“Hoseok!” Aviva scolded.
“Yap!” Jin punched him on the shoulder.
“Yap!” Yoongi did as well.
“Looks painful,” Hoseok said, grinning.
“Boys…” Aviva said, glaring at them. Hoseok laughed and ran.
“Sorry!” Jin whined.
“Say it to him, not me,” Aviva said, pointing at Jungkook.
“Sorry!” Jin repeated to Jungkook, before running off after Hobi.
“Don’t worry, noona,” Jungkook said, smiling at her. “I actually feel better now.” He went after them, bouncing the basketball he was holding.
“…You’re all so stupid,” Aviva muttered.
“Well…” Yoongi wrapped his arm around her shoulders. “You’re the one filming it all.”
She blinked. “Well… stupidity can be entertaining sometimes.”
He laughed.
“That was fun,” Jungkook thought as the day ended.
“Yeah~” Hoseok said. “Who says hard work can’t be fun?”
“Yeah!” Taehyung agreed. “Although it would’ve been even more fun if manager had agreed to be one of the extras…” He looked at her. She frowned.
“I told you, I’d rather be behind a camera than in front of it.”
“But I wanted to see you all dressed up!” Jimin said, pouting.
June 2nd 2013
“Okay,” Aviva said, sitting at her desk in the office as Tae hovered nervously behind her. “Here it goes.” She clicked post, and Tae’s profile photo and member announcement tweet went out. He cheered and squeezed her shoulders.
“I can’t believe it! I’m not a secret member anymore!”
“Congratulations!” She said, smiling at him.
“When are the others going to be posted?” Tae wondered.
“Hmmm… we have Jimin, Jin, and Jungkook tomorrow, and then Rap Monster, Suga, and J-Hope the day after,” she told him. “Oh, and the day after that, we’ll be posting the official tracklist!”
The day after the tracklist was posted to twitter, the first teaser trailer was released for the No More Dream music video. It featured footage of the boys scribbling over a chalkboard on the set, with a little monologue voice over in English by Rap Monster as he introduced them.
A few days later, the second teaser trailer, which was just edited clips from the music video, was released.
A large group of people gathered in a room at the offices to watch the music video together on the day it launched.
“I still think the helicopter is over dramatic,” Jin muttered.
“Are you really the person to be calling anything overdramatic?” Yoongi wondered. Jin pouted at him.
“The police showing up at all is a little…” Jimin made a face. “Unrealistic?”
“Is it?” Aviva wondered. “I’ve been to plenty of parties that were broken up by the police.” They stared at her. “In the US.”
“Okay, that makes a little more sense,” Hoseok said. “But you don’t even like parties.”
“Yeah, but Soonyoungie does,” she reminded him.
“Ah.” Hoseok nodded.
“Well, it’s still unrealistic that we would ever have such parties,” Jin thought. “I can’t imagine so many people ever showing up to see us...”

BTS Reaction: You Don’t Have Many Friends
Jin:
You’d text Jin earlier in the night asking what his plans were, yet when he replied telling you had an evening with the boys you couldn’t help but shed a tear, telling him how lonely you were feeling your apartment alone. You were only disturbed by a knock at your front door.
“Jin?” You cried out, opening it to reveal your boyfriend stood with takeout in hand.
“Can you let me in? It’s freezing out here,” he smiled, stepping into your home, greeting you with a kiss on the top of your head.
You watched him in confusion as he placed the bag down. “What happened to your night with the boys? Did something happen?”
“No. I just realised that you’re more important and need cheering up.”
“Jin,” you smiled, “you didn’t have to do that for me.” He shook his head, walking over to wrap his arms around your waist. “I would have been fine.”
He chuckled, kissing your lips, “I don’t care, I’m not having you feel lonely.”
“Well thank you, it means a lot that you came to see me, even if you didn’t have to cancel your plans,” you teased.
“I will always make time for you.”
Yoongi:
The constant buzz of his phone was beginning to wear you down as the two of you enjoyed date night, watching a random movie that Yoongi had picked out from Netflix. You sighed, turning to face him, propping yourself up on your elbow.
“How does it feel to have so many friends?” You sighed, watching his expression drop.
“Don’t be like that jagi, sometimes a smaller friendship circle is bigger than a big one.” He assured you, walking over to sit beside you.
You sighed, leaning your head on his shoulder. “What’s wrong with me Yoongi? Why is it always me that feels like I’m being left behind?”
“You aren’t, I promise. There are plenty of people who love and care for you.”
“Really?” He nodded, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “Because sometimes I feel like it’s just becoming me against the world.”
He softly smiled, taking a hold of your hand. “You know you’ll always have me.”
“That’s true,” you chuckled, “I know you’ll always be around to cheer me up whenever I’m feeling down.”
“Exactly, you’ll always have me love.”
Hoseok:
Hobi walked down the stairs dressed smartly for a night out with the whole production. You softly smiled as he stood before you, bringing the blanket you had draped across you further up until it reached your chin, gripping it tightly.
“Jagi, why don’t you come out with us tonight?” He offered, kneeling beside you.
“It’s fine. You go and enjoy your night with everyone, I’ll be alright here, I’m used to spending nights alone,” you chuckled.
He sighed, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “Please, I would really like for you to come, I don’t want to think about you all alone in the house sunshine.”
“Don’t invite me out because you feel sorry for me, it’s the last thing I need.”
“it’s not, honestly. All the boys love you and I’m sure they would be thrilled to have you with us tonight,” he assured, pouting his lips, a look you could never refuse.
You smiled, leaning down to peck his lips. “Fine, give me ten minutes to get ready.”
“Yes!” He squealed, picking you up off the sofa, twirling you in the air. “I’m so excited, this will be good for you, getting out of the house a bit more.”
“I’m sure it will be, thank you Hobi.”
Namjoon:
The two of you laid on the sofa, fixated on the movie that played out. You couldn’t help but frown as the main character struggle to decide which of her friends to let down with their plans for the evening, a dilemma you couldn’t relate to.
“Do you think it’s sad when people don’t have many friends?” You asked him, propping yourself up on his chest with your elbows.
“Not necessarily, why do you ask?”
You looked away from him and spoke, “it’s just I’m lucky if I have plans one day a week, and then there are people like this in the world who are forever busy.”
“That doesn’t change who you are, you’re still a beautiful person.”
“You don’t think I’m sad then?” You asked, to which he shook his head. “I think it would be nice to have some more friends sometimes.”
He looked down, meeting your gaze, “it’s better to have a few real friends-“
“-rather than lots of fake ones,” you interrupted, “I guess maybe that is advice I need to consider more in life.”
“Just remember those few treasure you more than you could ever imagine.”
Jimin:
You glanced out of the window of the restaurant noticing a group of about eight girls walking down the high street, holding onto each other, shouting as loud as they could, enjoying each other’s company and their evening.
“I wish that could be me,” you whispered, you thought quietly until Jimin cleared his throat.
“I don’t think you do. I know you get lonely, but you just need that one good friend sometimes to make up for all of that,” he pointed out.
You smiled across at him, “like you? You’re my best friend, and you’re all that I need. I’d pick you over that any day.”
“Exactly, I’ll always be your best friend my love.”
“Thank you,” you chuckled, “maybe I wish instead that we could stay here forever, just the two of us, just how I always like it.”
He nodded, reaching for your hand across the table, “I love you.”
“I love you too,” you chuckled, “thank you for being the best boyfriend, and best friend, altogether, I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
“You never have to thank me, ever.”
Taehyung:
He could tell straight away you were feeling down when a large group came into the cinema disturbing the peace and quiet the two of you had found at the back, your hands laced together, a share box of popcorn between you both.
“I’d hate to be a part of that,” he commented, capturing your attention.
“Seriously? You’re just saying that to make me feel better, aren’t you? I know what you’re like Tae.” You smiled appreciatively at his kind gesture.
He nodded his solemnly, “I’m sorry, but I just want you to feel better. Your small circle of friends is perfect for you, not all of that.”
“But just knowing they all like each other makes me jealous.”
“It shouldn’t,” he whispered, “I bet most of them are two faced and talk about each other behind their backs, you don’t want that jagi.”
You smiled down at the group, “at least people would acknowledge me.”
“Hey, don’t think like that, plenty of people think of you always, especially me, you know that you’re always on my mind.”
“You might have mentioned it once or twice.”
Jungkook:
You sat back and watched on as the boys continued their practice, the smiles on their faces showed just how happy they all were to be around each other whilst you sat, alone, the silence of your phone the only thing keeping you company.
“You alright?” Jungkook asked, noticing your sad expression. “What’s on your mind?”
“It’s just nice seeing how happy you all are, I wish I could have that,” you smiled, feeling him move to sit down beside you.
He reached for your hand, squeezing it gently. “It’s not all it looks on the outside, we have a fair few arguments and scuffles.”
“I know you do, but the majority of the time the seven are the best of friends, and it hurts to see.”
“That’s true, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have friends too, they just express their love for you in a different way sometimes.” He assured, pressing a kiss to your cheek.
“What? By ignoring me.”
He sighed, pulling you into his chest. “Everyone is busy Y/N, just give them time, I promise that things will change for you soon.”
“I sure hope you’re right Kookie.”

Christmas Special: Day 4
-> Pairing: Jimin x Reader -> Elf!AU // Kinda platonic-kinda romantic -> Word Count: 3.6k -> Summary: Working as Santa’s go-to elf has it’s ups and downs. ->Warning(s): None?? If you don’t like Christmas don’t read maybe??
A/N: This one is so late. It’s not what I planned originally, but it’s still pretty on point with what I was going for. I’ve spent so much time on this that I can’t spend anymore. Sorry for any mistakes or things that don’t line up! I hope it’s at least enjoyable!
Christmas is a magical time for everyone of all ages. It’s a time of laughter, joy, and togetherness. Families come together to celebrate the holiday with merriment, practicing traditions as a whole. Celebrations of many different kinds and of many different backgrounds from all over the world! Despite the nip of chilly air and harsh weather across the globe, it was still welcomed in the Christmas spirit. Couples - old and young - using the cold as an excuse to stay close to one another. Shop owners and their employees excited for the days off they would have to bask in the Holiday cheer. Nobody in their right mind wanted to work on Christmas.
Nobody human that is.
Elves were all about Christmas, they work around the clock 349 days a year to ensure that Christmas Eve runs smoothly for everyone. Elves of all shapes and sizes run around doing whatever job they were assigned to prepare for such a large event. Not the short, shrimpy characters that children imagine, but the full grown, working Elves. The North Pole is only ever at a standstill Christmas Day, the next three days after, and both days of Christmas Eve if you weren’t a part of the Santa’s roster. It’s a special night for everyone, and Elves love to celebrate their hard work before they get back into the swing for the next year ahead of them.
You - like a select few - are one of Santa’s Elves. Not to say that all Elves aren’t Santa’s Elves, but you’re a part of the special bunch that help the big guy stay on track throughout the year. Santa has 8, including yourself, that take care of issues within the Pole so he doesn’t have to do it all on his own. Each elf was given a special task that was given based on their own skills and personal traits that Santa entrusted them with for the success of the holiday season.
Santa’s shops were run and operated by three Elves: Seokjin, Hoseok, and Jeongguk. All toys were manufactured in the toy shop with Seokjin, inspected - and decorated if it was called for - before they were sent to Hoseok to be boxed or wrapped, and finally sent to The Dome with Jeongguk to be sorted for the Christmas run. Seokjin was a great toy maker, arguably one of the best in the shop! Not only were his skills amazing, but he has one of those personalities that just made you want to keep going and work harder with every word of encouragement he gave you(Even is he did throw in poorly timed puns and cringe worthy dad jokes). He gave his all to his Maker Elves, and Santa trusted him to keep toys chugging along the conveyor belts. Hoseok was another bright personality that lit up the Decoration and Packaging Shop. He was especially good at decorating and wrapping when he first started in the shops, and it didn’t take long before Santa appointed him his current position within the shop. His bubbly personality kept everyone in bright spirits throughout the day, and it made working long hours much easier. Especially when he’d turn up Yoongi’s station and blast the holiday tunes throughout the workshop speakers. Jeongguk stopped by everyday, three times a day to collect and move to The Dome where all the presents are separated and split for Christmas Eve. His natural strength made his lead an easy placement for the big man in red, almost a no brainer since the boy could handle almost anything. Jeongguk wasn’t only in charge of ensuring the bags were filled correctly, but he also made sure Santa’s sleigh was ready to go and in tiptop condition. His go-to and happy attitude made him an even better candidate.
Then there was Yoongi and Taehyung. Yoongi worked in the broadcast tower reporting weather and keeping the music going across the Pole to help with the Holiday cheer. Taehyung worked in the stables with the reindeer taking care of them everyday, up until it’s time for take off on Christmas Eve. Neither boy was any good in the workshops with Yoongi falling asleep at his wrapping bench and Taehyung ignoring the color patterns placed in front of him. Their attention spans were pretty limited, and a lot of the elves had given up on them very early on. But Santa wasn’t as willing to just brush them aside. He discovered Yoongi’s love for music as well as Taehyung’s fascination with the reindeer and gave them a new start. Santa saw them at their best even when others saw them at their worst, and they made it their mission to do their job correctly and efficiently so Santa could continue to help others just like them.
Elves including Namjoon; a tall, clumsy elf with no real knack for anything that he was given. Toy making, decorating, wrapping, cooking, baking, reindeer care, naughty or nice tracking, and mail delivery. Everything that one could think of, he’d already proved he couldn’t do it. But Santa knew better than to write him off. He’d seen Namjon in action, when he forgets for just a second that anyone is actually watching. He’s helpful, kind, and very headstrong. He thinks before he speaks and encourages others even when he can’t encourage himself. That’s why Santa placed him in the school where he can observe the younger elves and help guide them to where they should go. This way - in those special cases - they have someone who knows what it’s like to not really be a good fit.
A good job for Elves that didn’t make toys well or couldn’t decorate as nicely as others was Naughty or Nice Tracking. It’s a small department, it was probably the second most important to ensure Santa’s Naughty and Nice lists stay on track. It’s an exclusive group of 20 to 30 Elves that go out into the world and check up on children. They could be troubled, they could go from one list straight to another out of the blue, or they could just need a helping hand. The Naughty or Nice Tracking Elves made sure that if a child wasn’t tracking right, they were list jumping, or they just needed a friend, that someone would be able to check on them. They were lead by Jimin, another Elf who didn’t really enjoy making toys. Decorating was nice and wrapping wasn’t terrible, he just didn't find any joy in either activity. Not like the joy he felt with looking after and encouraging children to be good and kind to others.
Then that left you: Santa’s right hand. You were what kept everything running while Santa stuck to his own schedule. If Santa was in the Naughty or Nice Tracking Department, then you were in the broadcast center checking up on Yoongi and the elves he worked with. If Santa was getting his fill of cookies, then you were checking up on Seokjin and Hoseok in the workshop to make sure nothing was going astray. You collected the mail from the millions of children writing to Santa and delivered it directly to him, your personally made sure the reindeer were being brushed and had fresh supplies - Really, you just wanted to give some good boys pets. You knew Taehyung could handle it. You made sure Namjoon wasn’t having any trouble placing Elves, reporting back to Santa is there was anyone that needed an extra push. But most importantly, you made sure Christmas Eve loading, takeoff, travel, and landing went smoothly every year. You were one of the 8 that opted out of a few more days off in favor of spreading joy across the globe to those in need of it.
Without the 8 of you, Christmas would be a bust. That’s why as Christmas gets closer, everyone gets a little more tense. The Naughty or Nice Tracking Elves were working double what they were before, sometimes going days at a time without being seen. Breaks in the workshops happened more often as the days got shorter and the weeks started to disappear. Hours and minutes ticked by faster and faster, almost cutting themselves in half if you looked away for even a moment. Seokjin and Hoseok always took it the hardest as they tried to account for and encourage everyone that Christmas would be fine just like every other year. Jeongguk has already reported to you about a stack of boxes that had toppled over in The Dome, and had to send them back to Jin and Hobi to make sure they weren’t damaged on the inside. Yoongi always tried his hardest to stay awake longer than he normally would at the beginning of the year, but requests usually come piling in for him to. Elves begging for songs to be played, sometimes the same song appearing so often that Yoongi has no choice but to repeat for a while. But that usually stresses others out after hearing it constantly being played. Christmas music may be the majority of what they play at the Pole, but even Elves have their limits. Taehyung has to be extra careful with who he lets into the stable as Christmas quickly approaches. Reindeers are emotional creatures just like any other animal, and they’re hyper aware if someone is anxious or stressed. They have a tendency to sort of self destruct if they get too worked up. If someone looking for relaxation comes in and stresses out the reindeer, then everyone will have an even bigger problem on their hands.
Your pile of chores only grows higher as days continue on. With more shop breakages, the more supplies need to be ordered. You’d had to ask Mrs. Claus to go twice this month already, and it was just past December 8th at this point. If the boys in the shop couldn’t calm down their workers, then you could see Mrs. Claus just sending you with another elf to collect. She was a busy woman herself making sure everyone had enough to eat, she couldn’t leave as often as you’d need her to at some point. She and her husband were very busy, and that left everything to you: The next in line.
If anything was wrong, then you were the one everyone was supposed to go to.
“So, that’s where my problem is right now.” Jeongguk slides out from underneath the sleigh. Dirt and grime cover his cheeks and clothes, not to mention his brown hair is a mess. He’d decided to take a look at the sleigh early this morning to make sure everything was still tight and working well, but he found that there was something wrong with Santa’s engine. The hunk of metal wouldn’t start, and if it didn’t start then it wouldn’t float. If the sleigh wouldn’t float, then the reindeer wouldn’t even hit the snow at the end of the run. That left you in need of - once again - more supplies.
“And you’re absolutely positive that we don’t have any of these things here?” You asks, not even looking at the boy. You stare straight ahead towards the sleigh trying to recount every supply you’d gotten a week ago down to the tiny box of screws you ordered.
“I’m sure, (Y/n)! I promise, I wouldn’t have called you here if I didn’t think we needed it. Honestly, I was kinda hoping that as soon as you walked into The Dome it would just turn on.” He admits, resting his arms on his knees.
“Jeongguk!” Another Elf calls for him. He excuses himself with the promise to be back quickly, leaving you to get lost in your thoughts about everything. Perhaps if you got everyone to take a 10 minute break and stretch, then you’d be able to get them to calm down. Then again, they’d probably freak out that they’d just lost 10 minutes they could’ve used for working on their jobs for the day.
“Hey, (Y/n)!” The voice calling you out of your daydream was one you instantly recognized: Jimin’s. Just like most of the Naughty or Nice Tracking Elves, you hadn’t seen much of him either. You’d heard from him - being Santa’s right hand and all - but just that he was doing some last minute scoutings.
You turn to him, taking note of the change in his hair. He was blonde when he left, but it looks like he dyed it black while checking in on a few kids. His usually pointed ears were still tucked away in their covers, something Tracking Elves wore when they went to investigate their lists down south. You had a pair yourself for the trips with Mrs. Claus to receive the supplies every month. Despite it being new, it still suit him just like every other color he had already tried and wore beautifully.
“Yeah? Did you need something?” You ask, tucking a loose strand of your own hair behind your ear.
He reaches into a black messenger bag that hangs down at his side, and pulls out some papers, “I want to talk to you about some scheduling issues I’ve been having.”
You sigh. You were hoping he’d brought back more mail. You honestly had hopes that he brought you 10 times what he had in his hand if it meant you didn’t have any real problems to attend to, “Can I look at it a little later, Chim? Guk has a few problems of his own that I need to fix ASAP.”
“Yeah, I get that, but this needs to be done soon.” He stresses, shaking his papers a bit.
“I know, Jimin. I know! But I already have a pile of things that need to be done. Isn’t this something that you can look over?” You ask.
A look of guilt flashes over his face, his bottom lip tucking itself between his teeth. He looks like he wants to say something, but The Domes side doors slam open before he can speak, followed by a deep yell of ‘(Y/n)!’. You can’t help but sigh as you see not only Seokjin and Hoseok storming in, but Yoongi and Taehyung as well. Now, 6 out of the 7 people you were responsible for apparently had problems. You can’t help but think that if Namjoon walks through the door next, you might just scream.
“What?” You ask, not prepared for the onslaught they had prepared for you.
“My conveyor belt is broken! It won’t take the toys to Hoseok anymore!”
“-Heidi won’t eat any of her food and she’s just laying around. I think she might be pregnant!”
“-I’ve been trying to keep track of the weather forecasts, and I already found one predicting a hardcore blizzard in the Northeastern Hemisphere around Christmas.”
“-We don’t have any glitter.”
It takes a full minute to fully grasp what they all had said, but by that time Guk was back with yet another problem to add to the list only you can solve, “So, we ran out of spare lights for the run.”
The list just never ended at this point! This was your 4th Christmas as Santa’s right hand elf, but it felt like your first one all over again. This quite possibly had to be the worst one yet with how many problems kept coming up. Couldn’t any of them figure this out without bombarding you first? Guk’s matter were definitely the most pressing, and Taehyung had some leeway despite the need to come to you instead of the actual vet. Jin’s could be forgiven, but someone could easily take them over to Hoseok’s shop with the cart Jeongguk usually hauls them with until you could come to him. Hoseok...you weren’t even going to entertain this when he knows how to contact you about needed Decorating supplies.
All you needed was one break, just one!
“(Y/n)? Hey, I need your help! I broke the glass case in the school and I can’t find a broom.” Namjoon joins the group of boys surrounding you, obviously not picking up on the urgency that was going on.
“That’s it!” You huff. Too much. All of them were too much! You needed to get away from them before you lost it. Problem after problem with them, yet none of them could do it without you! They were grown Elves, they were told what they could do, not everything had to be reported to you directly and they knew that!
You direct yourself to Jeongguk first, “I’ll get the supplies ordered today with everything else I have to reorder. I need to know by 5 o’clock if you need anything else, and that goes for all of you. Text me.” You send him away and nod Hoseok away with him as well. You turn, “Jin, have someone hand deliver until I can get a tech to go and check it out. If you can’t wait, then go grab one yourself. Joon, the broom is in the closet in your office that’s to the right of what you broke, that’s why you couldn’t find it.” You wave them away as well and immediately turn to Taehyung, “Tae, if you think she’s pregnant, please go and find the vet! Do not waste her time looking for me when she should be having a check up.” You sigh, shooing him away as well. “Thank you for informing me, Yoongs, but we don’t need these reports until Friday hits.” He nods in understanding and leaves just like the others, leaving you with Jimin by the apparently broken sleigh.
7 problems not really fixed, one more to figure out. You take the paperwork Jimin still holds in his hands and glance at the shift numbers, running through a mental list before confirming what he’d have to do, “Just use some backup Elves from the on-call list. Tell the others first, but they should be able to help out until we can get through this year.”
“Sounds like a plan.” He takes his papers back, but he lingers behind to stand with you for just a moment longer, “Are you okay?”
You don’t miss the concern laced in his voice. You saw it with the others as you dismissed them - something you’d apologize for later - but he was the only one that stuck behind. “I’m fine, Chim.”
“Let’s take a walk.” He suggests. Well, it was more of a command than a suggestion. He’ll end up dragging you with him even if you say no, so there’s no real getting out of this one. You just nod in agreement and follow him out of the garage and into the Run of The Dome. Multiple conveyor belts move throughout the room, always staying clear of where Santa’s sleigh is supposed to go. There a few piles of gifts that have yet to be taken to the correct room, waiting for their assigned elves to come back to them. It’s quiet compared to what you’d just gone through, something you really needed at the moment. Jimin himself seems like he could use this walk more than you with how much he’s fidgeting. Like he’s almost uncomfortable.
“Are you okay, Chim?” You ask, looking to him through your peripherals as you walk around the room aimlessly. As annoyed and as stressed as you may be, you can’t deny that he must also be stressed out as well.
“I’m really sorry for coming to you with this when I could’ve done this myself. I just wanted an excuse to spend time with you since I haven’t seen you since I left last week.” He admits sheepishly.
His confession makes you blush and turn your head, a small ‘Thank you’ leaving your mouth. Park Jimin certainly had a way to mess with you, especially after you’ve been a butt. You sigh, “I’m sorry for snapping at you earlier. All of you at once with problems is just too overbearing.”
“You know, you are entitled to a break too.” He doesn’t look at you, he just walks next to you knowing that you’re listening to him. “You take care of everyone here, but you don’t take care of yourself.”
“There’s a lot going on right now, Chim. I can take care of myself, I promise.” You say. You’re not the least bit convincing however, as Jimin only sighs at you.
You both walk closer to where the piles of gifts are set up, clearing the way of any stray presents that could fall off of a belt. It’s almost unreal to watch everything come together like this. The Dome was probably your favorite spot in the Pole besides the stables. Part of you wonders if Jimin has a favorite spot in the Pole. He was always gone, so there was really no way to tell with how little you saw of him.
“How was your trip?” You ask.
He shrugs, “Same as usual. Another child that was hopping from list to list. Turns out he wasn’t being naughty, his sister was blaming her faults on him. Stealing cookies, writing on the walls, salt in their father’s coffee. Let me tell you, it was not as fun as it sounds.”
You stop in front of a present pile and pick you up to inspect it, “Do you ever regret choosing that job?”
“Depending on what I’m checking in on, I do. The children I see that have lost their hope and trust in Santa, they’re the ones that hit me the hardest since they’re usually the children in bad homes. They’ve lost faith in their parents so there’s no one else that they can trust.” He explains, tucking his hands away in his pockets. He shrugs, “I feel bad when I come back and remove those files from the lists, because I really don’t want to give up on them.”
“I feel bad when I can’t help everyone at the same time.” You admit, taking in a long, heavy breath, “Everyone has their own issues that are important to their department, but they’re not always important to me compared to the others. I forget that.”
“I don’t know, glitter didn’t seem that important to me.” Jimin chides.
“But it is! Sara Edwards from Richmond, Virginia and Kim Taeyeon from Gwangju, South Korea; both are 4 years old and they want Shimmer and Shine dolls! I can’t give them Shimmer and Shine dolls without any Shimmer or Shine!” You argue.
Jimins hands move from his pockets to rest on your shoulders, a proud smile just for you, “And that’s why you shouldn’t doubt yourself.”
You give a weak smile back, already feeling better from his quick little pep talk. It wasn’t a wonder why he was the head of his department. If you felt this relieved, then you wished you could see the kids when he comes to check in. It was powerful.
“Could I have an encouraging hug?” You ask, fingers tapping at the edge of your coat.
“If that’s what it takes.” Jimin laughs and pulls you into his chest, wrapping his arms around you in a big hug. He’s warm, and his fruity scent feels like home. You feel protected, like you’re with family. You must have the same effect on him with how he sighs in content, “Are you feeling the Christmas spirit now?”
“Yeah. I do.” You nod shyly, still tucked into his chest with your arms loosely wrapped around his waist.
Christmas may be hectic this year, and it may just get worse next year. Everyone’s problems may not get resolved, and you may have a breakdown at some point before the presents even get packed into their bags. But at least you know you have someone who’s looking out for you.

Any Other Name Part 54.5
Jungkook x Reader
Note: Okay, guys. After this, I have only one more planned part for Any Other Name. So prepare yourself for the end!
A smile settled upon MC’s face as she placed her phone on the only exposed inch of hardwood flooring among the meticulously organized stacks of paperwork, drafts, and photographs given to her by Taehyung and Namjoon.
Since Jungkook would be visiting for the first time in far too long, perhaps her instinct should have been to race to the bathroom to assess her appearance. After all, she was wearing an exceptionally childish Winnie-the-Pooh onesie, and her makeup was nearly a day old since she had put it on that morning for her meeting with Jin, Taehyung, and Namjoon to discuss their upcoming project. Or at least she should have started to move her work out of the living room so Jungkook could actually walk from the front door to the sofa.
But she didn’t think to do any of those things. After grabbing her phone, MC delicately tiptoed over her laptop and the piles of paper to the window seat, where she would be able to see when Hobi dropped Jungkook off. Once again, her heart fluttered when she studied the familiar image on her screen— the very first picture she had ever taken of the boy who stole her heart at first sight, accompanied by the link to a song he recorded just for her. And she was so moved by the gesture, so captivated by the sight of that sentimental photograph, that she didn’t think to browse the comments.
Now, all that mattered was that warmth, that falling associated with every thought of him. All that mattered was how her heart stopped when Hobi pulled into her driveway. All that mattered was the sheepish smile on Jungkook’s face as he raced to the front door. All that mattered was how, as a greeting, she and Jungkook melted into an embrace. And as they laughed, flustered by Hobi’s enthusiastic cheers, MC realized these beautiful moments were all that mattered all along.
As MC took Jungkook by the hand to lead him to the window seat, he laughed, “Nice pajamas.”
Giggling herself, MC replied, “Thanks,” as she collapsed into the seat and pulled Jungkook into the spot next to her. They sat at opposite ends of the seat, as if afraid to be to close to one another despite the hug they shared just moments before .
Jungkook’s eyes dashed all over the room, perhaps wondering if anything had changed since his last visit. He asked, “What’s with the mountains of paper by the couch?”
Slightly embarrassed that she hadn’t tidied up, MC teased, “I thought you were here to win my heart back, not to criticize my living condition.”
With his own teasing grin, Jungkook leaned back against the wall. “Ahhh, but I thought I already had your heart. At least, that’s what your songs said.”
To flustered to respond, MC rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. “Those mountains of paper are for my new job. Your brother hired me to adapt one of Taehyung’s ideas into a screenplay. That boy has one active imagination.”
“Really? Hyung didn’t mention anything about a new project.”
“He was worried you and I weren’t gonna get back together,” MC explained gently, avoiding Jungkook’s gaze. “He said it was a strictly business decision, so I guess that’s why you were out of the loop.”
In a small voice, Jungkook begged, “Are we?”
And the unashamed desperation in his voice demanded MC’s attention. She saw that he was biting at his nails, a small frown tugging at his lips. She forced, “Are we what?”
“Are we gonna get back together?”
The outcome of the conversation was so obvious to MC, she couldn’t help but laugh lightly. “I dunno. Things are looking pretty good for you right now, but who knows what you say about me in your song? Maybe you’ll confess to hating me or something—”
“I don’t hate you,” said Jungkook flatly, evidently unamused by the joke. “Besides, do you really think Hoseok and Yoongi would produce a negative song about you?”
“Yoongi— no, he’s cool—”
“He’s completely wrapped around your finger,” said Jungkook, eyebrows raised. “Honestly, he likes you better than he likes me. He told me that himself!” Fighting a smile, MC continued, “But Hobi apparently has a problem with me, since he wanted to spit in my coffee or whatever.”
“He only had a problem with your Anysia persona because you stole all of Yoongi’s attention.” Then, more gently, he asked, “By the way, why did you release your album under that name?”
Somewhat stiffly, MC straightened as she wracked her brain for an answer. “At first, I didn’t really get why Yoongi insisted on a stage name, but now I get it.” She swallowed tightly, suppressing her emotions enough to speak, “I needed a safe place where I could express my feelings for you without everyone analyzing me, and doubting me, and misunderstanding me. It’s just— if we weren’t us, Jeon Jungkook, the fallen model-turned-actor, and MC, the daughter of the most famous American actress and deceased film executive, the weird younger sister who hides behind the camera and behind her best friend, the one who runs every time—”
As her voice faltered, Jungkook reached out to pull her against his chest. He simply muttered, “It’s okay,” and allowed her to continue with her explanation, this time with the support of his affection.
“I just thought that if we had any other names, people wouldn’t assume to know everything about us. We could be in love without people like Mandi and my sister trying to break it.”
“Yeah, you’re probably right.”
“And by being Anysia, I was free from that. I was just exposing my feelings, and you were just listening. And that was exactly how I felt when I wrote Any Other Name with that pen name A.M. Salinger, before my identity was leaked. Nobody wants to take pictures of Anysia or A.M. Salinger. People only see the real me through my art.”
Following a deep sigh, Jungkook tightened his grip around her. “Yeah, I understand. I feel like people saw me, the real me, for the first time in Any Other Name even though I was just playing a character. That was the first time anybody looked at me without thinking of anyone else.”
“But I—” MC struggled to find the words before deciding to reach for Jungkook’s hand. And lacing her fingers through his, she said, “Being away from social media helped me realize that I don’t really care who else sees me, as long as you do.”
“I do,” Jungkook said immediately, his eyes sparkling with the positive turn in the conversation. “I always have, and I always will.”
Then, hiding her face behind her sleeve, she mumbled, “Ah, you can’t just say stuff like that.”
“But I mean it,” Jungkook said as he pulled her hand away from her face. Pressing a kiss to her forehead, he said, “And I know you see me too, so I don’t need to wear masks anymore. As long as you understand how much I love you, I don’t care how many people misunderstand.”
Smiling contentedly, MC hummed, “I can’t believe anyone ever convinced me to let you go.”
“Bet we won’t do that again,” Jungkook winked and pulled headphones out of his pocket. He stopped in his tracks when he noticed MC shaking her head. “No? What’s the matter?”
“Can you sing the song yourself please?” Jungkook’s eyes widened at the request, but he sighed, relieved that she wasn’t shaking her head about the prospect of starting their relationship anew. “What? The recording will sound better—”
Bashfully, MC admitted, “I’d just rather hear a version nobody else gets to hear.” She giggled ecstatically when Jungkook’s hesitance crumbled, and he straightened himself against the wall.
“Fine, fine, just don’t tell Yoongi we didn’t listen to the recording. He might actually kill me if he he hears he stayed up past midnight working on a recording you didn’t even hear.”

Jackpot | pt. I
(Found this picture in @youthstuffs , thank you for posting it)
Genre: Fluff and Crack, I guess...
Warnings: Mentions of lap dance, boner and ejaculation (it’s not smutty, tho)
Pairing: Kim Namjoon x @taesbetch , Kim Namjoon x Reader
Word Counting: 7.6k
Synopsis: Nya spent her whole life in Las Vegas, she would never imagine that local knowledge would ever be useful. However, her vision changed when Kim Seokjin appeared and introduced her to a few friends, film producers, whose needed guidance through Las Vegas underrated places for a movie. She agreed in working for them, and in that moment none of their lives would ever be the same. What happens in Vegas, not always has to be kept in Vegas.
A/N: Heeeeeeeey Nya!! Here is the first part of your one shot (now two shots? Lol), well. First thing first, it’s not a proper romantic chapter, since I used it more for entertainment and slyly making the characters bond, not explicitly making them stay together. It was fun to write and create every place I described (none of them actually exists in Las Vegas, I mean there is something similar to Eleganza & Extravaganza, but in Brazil). I made a bunch of references to RuPaul’s Drag Race, and some from movies (The Hangover, Showgirls, Agent 83, 21, etc). Hopefully you’ll enjoy it, I swear the second part if fluffier and way more what’s expected from an one shot. Forgive any grammatical mistakes. Good reading xX

The air smelled like whiskey and freshly cleaned wood. The slots were noisy and people yelled at them. The red walls and black carpet covered by footprints. Behind a long and wide curtain, a whole bunch of casino tables were in use. Blackjack making the dollar bills fly from hand to hand, trading them for casino chips. Money was lost and gained. People got in hopeful, chances mostly playing against their odds, but still willing to try and gain a fortune.
— Not everyone is Rain Main, though. - Namjoon said whilst looking through the tables, accompanied by his fellows Jungkook, Yoongi and Hoseok.
— Totally, why are we here anyways? We don’t gamble. You always told me not to play with lucky. - Jungkook held tight on his leather jacket sleeves.
— Do you know how to count cards? It’s illegal. If you get arrested I’ll show up only to mock you in jail. - Yoongi said, but decided to chill and buy a drink, tapping on his back pocket, looking for his wallet, not feeling it. - Shit, I think I lost my wallet with my cards, ID and money.
— You dropped it on the elevator’s floor. - Hoseok threw the wallet in Yoongi’s direction and grinned. - You took an eternity to notice.
— Why did I even brought you guys? Everyone is behaving like underage virgins trying to get in a strip club with an illegal ID. - Namjoon rolled his eyes and stopped, turning around on his calves. - Pull yourselves together, we are here ‘cuz Seokjin told me there’s someone willing to guide us through Las Vegas. It’s a woman and she works here.
— I miss Jin-hyung. He never denied a drink to his pals. - Hoseok said pouting, then getting back to his grinning self. - Is she that clever? Like, we travelled from England to Las Vegas short-noticed, she must be an ace, human map.
— You trust me, I trust Kim Seokjin and he trusts Nya. - Namjoon said and kept walking, looking for the indicated woman. According to her profile picture on Whatsapp, she had a curly brown hair, big dark eyes, with delicate yet strong facial traits. He checked the time on his cellphone, 7 p.m, Nya should finish her shift in one hour, but checking twice never harms.
- x - x - x - x -
Nya was feeling hot with her uniform. Not hot as sexy, but hot in the sense of igniting. Her white long-sleeved shirt was buttoned up, the vest warming everything even more. Not mentioning the constant stinging on her legs, caused by hours standing still distributing cards and, occasionally, trading money for chips. Still irritated, she focused on something else, specifically four koreans lads, dressed in casual clothings and staring around, as if they were looking for someone, Nya knew whom, but couldn’t yell or wave to call, since her manager wouldn’t approve such behavior.
A few months before she met with another korean guy, Kim Seokjin, with his broad shoulders covered by expensive suits, impeccable black hair and sharp tongue. Nya liked to chat with him, and shortly after found out he was looking for a guide to shown places in Las Vegas, affording to pay for the service. Everyone around were trying to get money through gambling, but the lucky one didn’t even touch a slot. Jade earned over US$1 thousand grands for her service.
Not long after, Seokjin contacted again claiming that he had indicated her work for a few friends. Acknowledging how rich he was, then a group of friends could pay even more. Whilst listening to the man explaining who the clients were, Nya was mentally chanting to ‘Billionaire’ by Bruno Mars.
The man sent a contact named ‘Kim Namjoon’. Nya and the new customer discussed additional informations, such as location and time to meet. Of course she knew he could show up earlier to check. Every sane one would confirm.
However, taking an attentive look at Seokjin’s friends, no one impressed her much. They were beautiful, specifically the taller one with lilac hair, Kim Namjoon himself, but also seemed to be a group of penny-pinchers. Great, there goes her ‘Billionaire’ dreams, landing straight on ‘Thrift Shop’ by Macklemore.
Once Namjoon finally detected Nya, he pulled his group of friends in the table’s direction, seating on a vague chair and staring at her, talking politely to the other players: an old lady wearing a thick fur-coat, black hair in a high ponytail and a white man with brown curly hair and using a Gucci sweater.
— Is that a lucky table? My friends here insist in saying I’m a jinx. - Namjoon asked and smiled, making the old lady blush and Nya side grinning.
Hoseok decided to take Yoongi and Jungkook to the bar, leaving the lilac haired man there, but promising to bring him a drink. Namjoon didn’t seem to care, trying to find a subtle way to ask Nya when her shift ends. He wasn’t aware if everyone knew about the side job as a guide.
— Oh, one of my fellows stopped by a few hours ago and played on that same table. When will your shift end? Isn’t that overworking? - Namjoon “casually” questioned. trying his best to sound chill and not psycho.
— Do you want another card, miss? - Nya asked and pulled one ‘red queen’ from the deck of cards, watching how the lady huffed in frustration. - Yes, today I worked literally for two. I’m covering a friend of mine. Thank you for your concern, but my shift ends in… Fifteen minutes.
— Oh, I worked in a bar once. It’s tiring. You should receive extra; - The man with curly brown hair said and asked for another card, completing a Blackjack and hissing in happiness.
Namjoon grinned flashing one dimple, looking at his wallet and casually announcing that he would buy a ‘lucky charm’ (a green drink, actually) before playing and stood up, giving a tip to Nya. Between the bills there was a paper saying he would wait for her at the bar.
Particularly, Namjoon felt stupid about being so secretive, the same did Nya. Behaving like they were trafficking drugs or selling a kidney for the Black Market. However, it also added to the experience of exploring Las Vegas, a Mission Impossible sort of situation.
Oh, Namjoon wished to be wearing a suit to feel like Agent 83, pondering the idea of looking for a phonecase shaped as a shoe.
- x - x - x - x -
— So, what are your names again? - Nya asked walking off the casino door, being followed by the four men. She was now wearing a black skinny jeans, plain white t-shirt and carrying her jacket on one of the arms.
— Kim Namjoon. I’m the one who contacted you. - The tall man with lilac soft hair said, a deep voice matching his very well distributed body form. Nya found him interesting and smart.
— Min Yoongi. - The tiniest one with black hair and round glasses said, whilst checking something on his phone. He seemed a little intimidating, but in certain angles his cheeks became chubby, giving a much cuter air. What a duality.
— Jung Hoseok, but call me Hobi. - The one with blonde wavy hair pronounced, smiling and flashing his small dimples around the mouth. A cheerful aura seemed to surround him, maybe it was all the neon lights coming from every casino and hotel.
— My name is Jeon Seagull. - Jungkook said and watched Nya’s expression switch from playful and calm to confused.
— What? Is that serious? - She asked furrowing her eyebrows.
Everyone laughed loudly, confusing her even more. She never felt comfortable not understanding inside jokes from friends, the brown haired woman felt slightly left out from the conversation.
— No, I’m just kidding. My name is Jeon Jungkook. - He said and shook her hand, smiling and shortly after continuing. - Do you want to know the story behind the whole Jeon Seagull thing?
Before she could answer, Jungkook began telling his story. Apparently the boy with cherry coloured hair used to be an idol in Korea, in a boy group from 15 to 21. When he decided to quit singing dumb songs about girls and conquer his dreams.
— When I chose to become part of that group, the managers decided that Jungkook wasn’t a good name, so based on where I was born they decided to call me Jeon Seagull, supposedly appealing even to fans from outside Korea. - Jungkook said and wagged his hand around. - Well, after years I quitted, graduated in cinema and went to England, where I met these douchebags.
— Is there anyone hungry or just me? I know a place with good and cheap food. - Nya said and glanced in Namjoon’s direction. - It's also very private, so we can discuss my commission and, once again, clarify your intentions, places to visit and contacts needed. Even a girl with good friends requires some checking before confirming.
Hoseok felt his stomach complaining. The peanuts eaten whilst waiting for Nya didn't trick his greedy and quick metabolism. Also, Yoongi was sick worried about some account numbers from the previous project, trying his best to fix finances before engaging in international business, but food and a good cup of coffee would help him think rationally. The men agreed and watched the woman waving her left hand to stop a cab.

Nya took the group to a small diner. They sat down and ordered some coffee and bagels with cream cheese, as an entrance. ‘The Devito’ had a lot resemblances with Pop's from Riverdale, which itself reminded any 50s diner. Red couches instead of chairs, white tables, everything decorated with vintage chachki and posters. The ambient music (Livin’ On A Prayer by Bon Jovi) provided by a wooden jukebox. The waiters and waitress all dressed in white pants, cream and red plaid shirts, rolling around in expensive looking skates (Namjoon was surprised, claiming he could barely stand still in hard ground. Yoongi confirmed telling that the first time they met, they almost managed to get killed by a bus in London, after the taller one tripped on his feet and nudged him).
Whilst eating bagels and chatting about impersonal topics, Namjoon took a sip from his coffee and began the business talk.
— So, Nya. What's your price? - Namjoon asked not looking straight at the woman’s eyes, trying to see what Yoongi was doing on his phone.
— Hm, it depends. - Nya said, brushing off the conversation with Jungkook about Transformers being sorted in Hogwarts houses (Optimus Prime is totally a Ravenclaw, Bumblebee despite of his colours is a total Gryffindor). - See, Seokjin paid me US$1k because he is rich and cocky, but I accept less. Also, I take in count how dangerous wherever you want to visit is. I ain't gonna risk my neck for a few dimes. Also, if I understood it right, then we’ll be together from now til morning, did I get it? Maybe a bit of the afternoon, but since I worked two shifts today, conquered the right for a day off.
— Fair and right. - Yoongi said and popped his tongue, putting his phone down and digging in relief. - See, we can pay US$600 for your job, maximum. You are not going to take us in dangerous places, mainly because we are tracking and trying to rent establishments for filming. I personally don't think it's secure to break in a crack house, aimed with expensive professional cameras, and other cinematic knick knack. At least not with an indie production budget.
— Oh, I get it, but you still didn't clarify what kind of places we are going. - Nya looked at Yoongi, but shortly after glanced in Namjoon's direction again. - Where do you want to go tonight, sir?
— Our new project is rather bold, and sassy, and if you want to use the right vocabulary, then it's also fierce. - Namjoon said smiling, not a large full of teeth kind of smile, but a proud and dimpley one. - We want to attend Drag Queen clubs, stripclubs, bars, cheap hotels and stores, specifically department stores and somewhere to buy wigs.
The woman tried to imagine their upcoming movie, with drag queens, strippers, cheap clothings, alcohol and possibly a whole load of LGBT representation. Yeah, Namjoon made the right choice, Las Vegas had everything they needed for under loan prices. She herself knew people who could snatch someone's face to star in a movie. Differently from Seokjin (who paid for attending comedy shows, expensive hotels, top knot restaurants, he also wanted to meet famous people, and Elvis matchmaker. His movie was cliche, a common romcom), Min Yoongi, Kim Namjoon, Jung Hoseok and Jeon Jungkook wanted to go further, know the veins and core of Vegas. Entertainment in it's raw and most interesting form. Nya was excited.
— This sounds so amazing. It seems like a match between Priscilla and Showgirls. - Nya spoke wistfully and with a lightweight looking face. - What's the movie about?
— Well. First thing first, our last project wasn't very acclaimed and complimented by critics. They said the movie was predictable, quality so low compared to previous releases. Deception, that vastly said word really bugged us. - Hoseok took the word and began talking, tapping his long and skinny finger on the cold table material. - After a few weeks thinking and searching, me and our main writer, Taehyung, decided to dive in LGBT culture. Months of writing and studying brought us the golden idea.
“A famous drag queen in Vegas, confident and talented. She spent her life dancing and lip syncing for money bills during night, whilst writing for a local newspaper on the astrology column during day. One night, though, during a show she meets with a drag king. - Hoseok took a sip from his coffee and continued. - That night changed everything, Moonchild, as we named the character, learns what love is and how narrow minded LGBT community itself is, cuz between drinks and night outs with Jimmy Humble, she finds out he is actually a transman. They also meet a girl working on the same restaurant as Jimmy, and she is a stripper dealing with some problems related to genetics. The story is very angst, fluff, defying… Fierce.”
— I already know where to take you. - She pronounced and drank the last bit of coffee. - Also, I won't charge the guidance with a simple condition: you guys will employe and give screen time to a few people I'm going to introduce. Genius artists with a career slamming on their backs, but poor chances of starring something without incentive and purpose.
Namjoon and Yoongi glazed down at her with a weird expression. No grand service comes for free. Was Nya being serious? Guiding a bunch of foreigners through Las Vegas streets charging not even a dollar? They stared at each other, having a silent talk, the kind of talk only people really close can have.
— Ok, so you don't want the US$600? You are willing to drag us around for free, only with a guarantee that we are hiring a few friends of yours? - Yoongi asked, raising one eyebrow, suspicious, almost suspecting on her kindness.
— Yeah, you got it. - She confirmed and put both hands together on her own lap. - You pay my friends and I give you informations obtained after years wandering around Las Vegas.
— Geez woman, if Seokjin mentioned you were Jesus Christ level of humble, then I'd have brought something for you to bless, or I don't know, a leprous to cure. - Jungkook told between chuckles. - You are a saint.
— Don't exaggerate, Kook. - The lilac-haired man slapped lightly the younger's hand. - But in fact, it's very humble of you. Although, we will still pay for cab and every meal or drink you have. We are not Scrudges after all. Except for Yoongi, he has a scorpion in his wallet poisoning whoever tries to spend more than the affordable.
They ordered dinner (burgers with cheddar and barbecue sauce). Hoseok stood up and had a toast in Nya's name.
- x - x - x - x -
After having a great dinner, and Namjoon paying for her, Nya decided to begin the night by heading to a bar. Mainly because it was near and they could get there in five minutes. Also, she knew who owned it, even though nothing glamorous would be seem, the place could be weirdly welcoming with cheap drinks, bitter beer and mostly mushy peanuts.
The establishment was small. Diego, an immigrant from Mexico, opened his pub in 1991 and struggled to keep it alive, until a horde of hipster decided to use his place as a meeting place, boosting his cashier.
Rustic but endearing. Namjoon felt amazed by how both adjectives coexisted perfectly. Las Vegas had so many bright neon lights and huge bars with overpriced HORRIBLE drinks, yet Nya managed to find somewhere small and cozy. Even though Yoongi complained about how weird the peanuts and pistachios tasted, they agreed on considering it to rent as a location to film, discussing how to fit flawlessly with the script.
The walls were light green full of colorful images from beautiful latina women, contrasting with the plain black floor. Small brown tables with two plastic chairs each. The drinks served weren't diversified, basic and some of them traditionally from Mexico. Kim Namjoon paid a round of tequila for everyone and turned his shot in a gulp.
The lilac haired man was paying attention to Nya, who chatted animated with the owner, a tanned man with a shaved face and big cheeks, bald and skinny, beside his preeminent belly, result of years drinking doses and doses of beer. They seemed like family, catching up on how Cousin Shirley is no longer working for him, because she moved to New York binging graduate college there. Also, Namjoon overheard something about a relative dead after trying to cross the border between USA and Mexico.
Sad. Nya’s expression turned from lightweight and joyful to sorrow. Apparently she knew the dead man and couldn't attend his funeral. Namjoon took another shot of tequila and tried to focus on Yoongi and Hoseok fitting the bar into a scene, apparently there was a moment where Jimmy Humble tries to mingle among cisgender people in a bar, but the result is saddening.
Jungkook was a clever guy, genius filming and editing, but very naive on daily basis. Whilst chatting with the bartender he decided to play arm-wrestling, even though the lady clearly had the task of carrying gallons filled with beer, so she was strong, toned and tanned arms, wide shoulders and a pin-up tattooed on her biceps, the face delicate, like a sunflower surrounded by black curls instead of petals. Beautiful, a very beautiful young lady, whose beat Jungkook three times in a row.
The guide in charge dried a small tear and glanced at the lilac haired man. He was quiet and observant, whilst his friends were mingling and socializing (or like Yoongi, just chatting with someone here and there), Kim Namjoon observed and drank from a huge mug of beer, such as soaking his brain in new visual information, reading the place and absorbing its story and culture. Nya liked that about him, even meeting him for a few hours now, she could tell Namjoon's soul had been around for ages. Hoseok and everyone else were smart, but the tall guy was wise.
— Why did you choose to become a movie director? - Nya sat beside Namjoon and queried, shortly after took a sip on her own beer (“Here mi hija, a treat from Tio Diego. Give your silent friend one too”).
— I don't know. - Namjoon replied, mind still wandering around the bar, asking himself if Tio Diego actually met all the ladies framed around in pictures. - I actually started working with audio, producing music and stuff, but after a couple years only dealing with sounds bored me. I was happy, but not joyful. So I decided to change a little and start a job with movie soundtracks. Not long after and directing became an interest. So I joined college to study cinema. Now I’m the Captain Kirk of my Enterprise, controlling the british indie cinematography market, and all with my oldest friend Spock, as known as Min Yoongi.
— Interesting. Deeply interesting. - Nya cooed and soaked her throat with a long sip of beer. - Have you never considered the idea of working for big studios? Like, Paramount?
Before properly answering, Namjoon chuckled and took his phone from one of the pockets, unlocking it and looking for something on internet. He passed the mobile to Nya’s hand. Shining under her sight was a movie poster of a man dressed like a doctor, butterflies flying around him.
— Butterfly Voices. - They said in sync, however Kim continued speaking in a slow pace. - Three years ago I tried to get in the selective environment of mainstream cinema. I spent years working on a script worth of Hollywood. My great chance appeared, I held it with teeth and claws. The budget wasn't great, mainly because most people weren't aware of me. After the release, tabloids spread false informations about how much the film cost, also whenever you hit a great public in theaters and become a so called ‘popular director’, critics seems to get dumber. Their criticisms about Butterfly Voices weren't serious, only mean comments on nonexistent things. After understanding how poisonous fame is, I decided to go focus again in producing my independent movies. It's less tiring and weary.
— Oh my god. Is that the movie about the doctor who married another doctor, and after his wife passed away her spirit became a kind of guide, helping him to make decisions and ace surgeries? - Nya questioned and Namjoon nodded quietly. - I cried like a baby when her soul began fading after a psychiatrist friend gave him pills to schizophrenia, and he realised his wife's image was nothing but a trick from his widowed mind. You are a good director.
— Thank you. It's a pity Rotten Tomatoes critics didn't have the same thought. They classified Butterfly Voices as frustrating and merciless, on the edge of a low budget Sixth Sense. - The lilac-haired was feeling comfortable around Nya, maybe the alcohol began kicking, or maybe she was actually chill and trustworthy. - I never really talked about my experience with mainstream cinema. Everyone always looks up on my finances, criticizing and judging how much less money I gain from producing indie movies, of course comparing with what I got paid in Hollywood. I don't care about it. My mental health is a priority, and dealing with popularity amongst tabloids made me have anxiety attacks.
— Yeah. Michael Jackson tried to advise us. Only the fools ignored the King of Pop. - Nya slipped one hand and touched lightly Namjoon's pinky, blushing and watching him smirk with her side vision.
They stayed there, touching pinkies and nonspeaking for over ten minutes, until Jungkook came closer and asked when they were heading to another place. In Namjoon's opinion the young cherry-haired lad got tired of losing to Tania in arm wrestling, even though he would never admit it.
— Where are you taking us now, Nya? - Yoongi turned to look at her with smiley eyes, matching his gummy grin.
— Let me see… What about a bar RuPaul's Drag Race themed? - She scratched her own chin, as if expressing doubt. - Then a strip club where I know a few girls.
— It's a yes from me. - Hoseok yelled from one of the corners.
- x - x - x - x -
— Glamour. EXTRAVAGANZA. Fierce. Bang! Bang! Bang! Yaaaaas kweeeeeen! - Hoseok got in ‘Drag mode’ as soon as they arrived, making the use of every LGBT slang he knew.
— Hobi, I'm telling you this as a friend, don't overuse your drag vocabulary. - Namjoon said putting one hand on his shoulder. - I don't want to be kicked out a place cuz my friend is borderline offensive when gets excited.
— Don't you throw shade at me, henny. - Hobi replied and poked out his tongue.
— You really made a deep research before writing the script, didn't you? - Nya raised an eyebrow in Hoseok’s direction.
— Absolutely. - Hoseok answered mimicking Gia Gunn [a Drag Race competitor from season 6].
Despite the long waiting line, Nya's contact allowed them to get in before everyone else. The group entered and took a sit on one table decorated with glitter and a menu where foods and drinks were named after RuPaul’s Drag Race queens. Ambient itself was pure glam, with pink walls ornate tiles and frames of quotes, queens, RuPaul herself, etc. On a huge TV screen was airing an old episode of RPDR. Waitress were all in drag, most of them looking like Trixie Mattel, but with slightly less makeup.
— Hm, I'll have the same as always, Peeps. A ‘Naomi Smalls’ with extra ice. - Nya pronounced after asking how the waitress in front of them was doing lately. - What do you guys will want?
— I don't know, this Monique Heart seems amazing, but I'm not in the mood for ice cream and Coca-Cola. - Yoongi cooed and stared down at the menu, turning the page and his eyes began glowing. - Oooh I want a Cuba Libre, I mean, a Bianca Del Rio.
— I will have one of my favourite queen. - Hoseok said and popped his tongue, again, for the fiftieth time in ten minutes, chosing a drink made of strawberry juice and vodka. - Make me an Alyssa Edwards, please. Okurrrr?
— I'm so sorry for my friend. - Namjoon said and rolled his eyes. - I want a portion of ‘backrolls’ [basically fried pork] and one Charlie Hides, I prefer Guinness, but I can have whatever beer it is.
— Gosh, there are over 100 options. - Jungkook pointed out, still paging through the menu, eyes brightening after seeing an Amarula drink. - But, a Bebe Zahara it will be.
— Nice choices. I particularly prefer a dose of Adore Delano with portions of Latrice Royale. - Peeps told and wrote their order in a beautiful calligraphy, leaving quickly right before.
— I loved this place. I’m gagging, bish - Hoseok chanted, smiling so big you could see his molars. - Namjoon, I know we won't film here, image copyright and all, but can we help them out? Announcing their establishment during the movie.
Namjoon sighed deeply and glanced at Yoongi. They spoke again with looks and eyebrow raises.
— As long as they don't charge a fortune to borrow their front door, we can try to get an agreement. - Yoongi affirmed petting Hobi’s forearm.
Nya kept on admiring Namjoon. Everyone seemed so chaotic or worried whilst himself, the boss in charge, was chill and mostly unimpressed, even surrounded by tall men dressed in drag and serving food. How could he not even express amusement to everything around? Wasn't it all different enough? She wasn’t getting paid for guiding them, but still would feel so much better having at least a glimpse of his approval. Jungkook was clearly rolling on joy like a pig in mud, Hoseok after spending so much time searching and digging in LGBT culture, had the time of his life in a RPDR themed bar, Yoongi felt content with good drinks and slowly solving their filming location problem. But what about Namjoon?
Well, he was sipping on his beer and chatting mostly with Yoongi, occasionally smiling and flashing dimples. The neon lights reflected and turned his hair even more purple, also turning Jungkook’s wires into a brighter cherry red. They seemed comfortable, which was great. Nya reminded when some homophobes tried to destroy the place by throwing rocks and setting fire. Eleganza & Extravaganza almost turned into ashes and dust. However, allies and LGBT folks raised money to reconstruct everything broken or burned.
The woman felt tempted to ask for a sneak peak on the script, but they would never reach that level of intimacy in only two hours. Her relationship with them was strictly professional by now, even having fun and possibly end up getting wasted in Las Vegas.
Nya loved her self-proclaimed job.
It’s not like Nya used to guide people around Las Vegas often, actually the first time was when Jin offered cash, in exchange of a sightseeing based on a local point of view. As he said, no one knows good places better than someone residing there. Even not expressing, meeting new clients made her restless for days, always rattling or zoning out. What if the experience end up being a deception? Despite Seokjin compliments, every single one has a different predilection, maybe bringing them to places she thought were appropriate and not regular ones, could go right or could go wrong.
Fortunately, Yoongi cackling and almost choking over Jungkook trying to sip his drink through with the nose, oh small - yet unbelievably bizarre - moment like those boosted her confidence. Nya laughed out loud when Hoseok punched Jeon’s shoulder:
— You better respect this temple, you heathen, RuPaul faithless. - The blonde one pronounced in a mocking tone. - We ain’t here to parteeey.
Namjoon rolled his eyes and slapped lightly the back of Hoseok’s head. They definitely were having fun.
The lilac-haired man was also admiring Nya. As someone living off of a business where, in its essence, who you know defines who you are, watching someone with so many contacts amused him. Although, what actually got his attention was how caring the woman behaved towards everyone, she literally spoke to whoever approached them as relatives. Uncle Diego, Aunt Tania, whilst the waiter/waitress were treat like cousins. It seemed like outcasts from Las Vegas were her family.
How did she knew so many people? Nothing plausible actually occurred to him.
- x - x - x - x -
After leaving the Eleganza & Extravaganza a bit tipsy, one more drink and Namjoon would lose control over Hoseok and Jungkook, so he decided it was time for finding a strip club, since one of the characters worked as a stripper. After jumping in a cab and Nya saying where to take them, everyone agreed in not having more alcoholic beverages until the end of night. As if.
The cab dropped them in front of a very common-looking strip club. Seriously, it was almost comic on how stereotyped the place seemed to be. Teets had a huge neon billboard with a female body traced in red, a huge bodyguard (whose looked a lot like Thing from Fantastic Four, before being turned into a walking rock), no line though. Nya hugged that man and waved at Namjoon and his friends.
— Uncle Ben, those are friends of mine and we need to get in Teets. - Nya stated smiling brightly, one of his HUGE arms around her small shoulders, whilst she pointed at Namjoon. - This is Kim Namjoon, Jung Hoseok, Min Yoongi and Jeon Jungkook, they are entrepreneurs from the cinema business and need a location for their upcoming release.
— Hi guys, nice to meet more friends of Nya. - So called Uncle Ben shook hands with everyone. Jungkook and his nerdy ass really inquired if everything was a dream or a joke, someone looking like Thing from Fantastic 4, with the same name, but changing everything when “uncle” word appeared first. A punchy Jeon Jungkook looked around trying to find cameras, Human Torch or someone, ironically, named Peter Parker. - Nice to know you guys are interested in using Teets as a location, they could make the use of some promotion.
— Well, we are here and willing to help. - Hoseok babbled and grinned, still fazed by their previous location.
— I’ll let you guys in, but don’t do anything stupid. I don’t want to kick your arses out of stablishment. - Uncle Ben sounded serious, and no one wanted to play with Uncle Ben.
Ben stepped aside and allowed them in. Jungkook, who was biting inside his cheeks desperately trying to contain any unnecessary commentary, turned around and said, with brawn and brain.
— We will behave. With great powers comes great responsibility. - Jungkook felt flushed, yet content and relieved. Namjoon and Yoongi on the other hand almost choked, considering the idea of kicking the youngest one out themselves.
The black hallway, illuminated by dirty yellowish lights, was full of pictures, mostly old Playboy Magazine posters and covers, but a few original pictures from their most successful strippers also existed. Before reaching the main room, where the stage and bar resided, Nya stopped them and turned around.
— So there are a few advices I feel the need to give. - Nya cleared throat, scratching the back of her neck uncomfortably. - First: don't touch the girls, unless you pay for more physical contact, or they find you cute. I don’t know how strip clubs in United Kingdom works, so better to be safe than sorry. Second: lap dances will most definitely happen, so just try not to get stuck in the heat of the moment, ‘cuz no one would feel comfortable around an unsolved boner.
She swung her weight from one foot to another, trying to gather words. Nya knew a few girls working there, some actually used to be classmates during high school. Old friendships and, just like every other, valuable ones.
— Some of the girls I want to be casted are here. - She mumbled, mentally thanking God for the soundproof walls. - I know them every since high school. Carol studied scenic arts, but never succeed. Whilst Sasha, Gabe and Sharon deserves a better life, maybe a bit of help by appearing in a movie could push their careers. Don’t make anything inappropriate, please.
— Scout promise, Ma’am. - Yoongi made an “X” shape in front of his chest.
— Good. Now let’s go. - She opened the red door and heard the loud music invade her ears. “Purple Rain” by Prince blasting the old soundsystem. - Welcome to Teets, boys.
The lighting was weak, yet a bar with colourful bottles could be seen across the room, surrounded by small teal benches. Tables and chairs were placed around a medium sized stage, where a pole stood still (with a naked woman dancing around it). A common strip club, with a few men sitting and watching the blonde lady swinging her nude hips sensually, some ladies in latex clothing or lingerie wandered around, serving drinks and giving lap dances. All four men tried not to focus on them, finding details everywhere.
Nya took a sit next the stage, watching how chill Hoseok, Yoongi and Namjoon acted, contrasting completely with Jungkook’s behavior. The young man was shifting uncomfortably on his seat, his adam’s apple bobbing up and down, if you paid attention could even see tiny droplets of sweat pooling around his hairline, never looking straight at the stage.
Namjoon and Nya leaned close to each other, getting lost in a conversation about how the atmosphere smelled like incense. According to her, the owner is brazilian so he always orders tons of Dama da Noite scented incense (a nightly blooming flower from Brazil) and purposely lights them close to air ducts, making air steamy. The effect caused was a sort of erotic odour consuming and confusing everyone's senses. Gossip says some men can get horny only by the expectation brought by the ambience built around.
Jeon Jungkook was clearly one of those men.
After a few more minutes of “Purple Rain”, Cherry Pop left the stage with a few dollar bills in hands. Jungkook took a deep breathe and relaxed. Unlucky, his whole body tensioned again when another song began and a woman with ebony coloured hair braided to perfection, curvy silhouette made of wide hips and natural boobs covered by a set of black and lacy lingerie, connected to a pair of sheer socks by garters, high heels emphasizing how toned her legs were. The woman's body was so far from being a small frame, yet sexy and attractive as hell.
— Guys, this is Carol, her stage name is Cristal Malone. - Nya cooed in awe. No one would ever deny how heavenly gorgeous she looked.
The air seemed to get heavier and sexier, “Voodoo” by Patrick Paige II played around them, Carol swayed along with the music. Jungkook wanted to avert the gaze and focus in somewhere other than her, but something on how she moved around lightly and feeling every note wouldn't allow him. It was hypnotic, she captured his glare and wouldn't release. When garters were abandoned close to Jeon's eyesight, the expectation for seeing more of her beautiful bare frame grew stronger.
Nonetheless, Carol knew who the guys drooling at front row were, Nya told about them and mentioned a chance of appearing in a movie. Decided to convince of her professionalism, she walked slowly around stage and went down stairs, grabbing dollar bills from admirers and leaving it close to her garters. Mentally playing eenie meenie miney mo, Cristal Malone chose who would be the lucky one to receive a special lap dance.
When she stopped in front of Jungkook and stared down at him, he felt his pants tightening more, but his amusement wasn't showing, the doe eyes were widened and almost jumping their orbits, cursing silently how odds weren't at his favour. She looked even better closer, carved features in a smooth caramel skin, irises shining like black pearls, a thick trace of eyeliner, mouth painted with a lustful shade of glossy red. Somehow, the atmosphere made Jeon smell of sex around. Carol looked at him with one eyebrow raised slightly, sensing his tension and grinned for nanoseconds, assuming her dominant position again. Taking advantage of the exact moment when one song changed to another, she lightly pushed his legs open, following the tempting rhythm of “Earned It” by The Weeknd.
Carol positioned herself over one of his muscled thighs, not sitting straight there, moving hips front and back, left and right, watching how his arms were pushed behind the chair, one hand holding the other. Getting closer and allowing his upper body to touch hers, Jungkook almost passed out. His face expressed a mix of embarrassment, excitement and, deep down, lust. Carol moved a leg to the side, getting off his leg and posing her hands where body was previously touching.
Using the hook between the verse and the chorus, she turned around and sat on his crotch, moving along with The Weeknd's voice.
Jungkook zoned out in the moment Carol sat on his thigh. His mind and body weren't connecting, not when his thinking head felt embarrassed and the down one was clearly enjoying some friction. Rationally wishing to be someone else, bodily drinking from every moment. That confusion made his penis semi-hard, not being able to get fully erect considering the situation. He wanted to melt, but also be there. How would Jeon face his hyungs after that particular show? HOW WOULD HE FACE NYA? Why the song seemed to last forever, yet so short?
Whilst Carol made Jungkook feel a mix of excitement and embarrassment, Namjoon, Yoongi and Hoseok were surprised and a bit jealous. Lucky little bastard. Nya knew the stripper would do it, but never imagined the exaggeration.
The song was about to end, Jungkook sunk down on the chair when an already known satisfying feeling ran through his veins, like electricity. He came on his pants and the combo excitement+embarrassment was replaced by a profound shame. Cumming on his pants like a teenager.
The stripper got back on stage ready to continue her routine of striptease. Yoongi threw a US$20 bill and blinked. Jungkook's face grew redder every second, he turned around and said to Namjoon, stuttering and almost crying.
— I gotta change my pants.
— Why? Oh… - A very flustered and wide-eyed Namjoon held a chuckle down his throat. It was tragically comical. Jungkook had to change his pants.
After a few moments deciding what to do, their focus was no longer on Cristal Malone. Namjoon turned and told Nya what happened, she looked at Jungkook and stood up. Everyone followed her lead in the bar's direction, Jungkook walking weirdly and feeling, almost hearing the spunk sticking to his underwear.
— Hey Abby. - Nya waved for the bartender, a middle aged woman, with greyish ginger hair pulled back in a ponytail, brown eyes and peaceful features. - Do Teets still has the Lost & Found?
— Hey Nya, how are you? - Abby was drying cups and glasses. - Yes, it's in the back now. Close to where the girls change.
— I won't use some pervert’s trousers! - Jungkook exclaimed, hands firmly covering his crotch. - How does someone forgets its pants?
— You don't have plenty of choices, Kook. - Hoseok couldn't look straight at his friends. Even feeling aroused himself (thankfully he decided to semituck his dick), at least he didn't ejaculate.
— See, I warned about what was about to happen. Why don’t you use something from them? So we can drive to a convenience store or 24/7 Walmart to buy you new trousers? - Nya was deadly serious, even internally giggling.
The group began considering every possibility. Jungkook was zero into the idea of picking something from their Lost & Found, whilst Namjoon agreed with Nya, Hoseok defended the idea of gaining a few dimes by allowing Jeon to perform a striptease (“C’mon prudes! We all know there are a lot of bisexual guys around, and a bit more money is never too much”), Yoongi ordered a tonica and sipped without opinating, watching when one of the girls in latex approached and pronounced startling everyone.
— Hmm, I couldn’t stop myself from listening. Sorry. Hi Nya! - Her hair was a wavy and pink, skinny body with thin thighs, using a latex black leotard and knee-high boots. - Is the Jungkook lad someone open-minded when it comes to fashion? One of the girls who quit last week left a few pieces of clothing, and there is a long skirt. She had a waist about his size.
— Hi Sasha. Thank you, if Jungkook is okay with using skirts, then it’s better than nothing. - Nya stared at the youngest of them. - Oh where is my politeness? These are Namjoon, Hoseok, Yoongi and, well, Jungkook. They are the film producers I mentioned earlier.
— Well, it’s better than using a pervert’s trouser. - Jungkook still felt uncomfortable, giving his most sincere half-hearted smile. - Nice to meet you, Sasha. Where do I grab my new skirt?
— Nice to meet you, Sasha. - Yoongi flashed his best gummy smile at her and then turned to Jungkook. - With some lucky, your skirt will match your whole outfit.
— Fuck you, hyung. - Jungkook got even more flushed.
- x - x - x - x -
— How’s the feeling of wearing a skirt? - Namjoon mocked Jungkook, watching him spin around and staring at the mirror, checking his reflection with a long navy-blue skirt.
— Well, my balls and ding dong are dangling freely, it’s a bit chilly, but at least it’s not stained with cum… I hope. - Jungkook was feeling himself and, honestly, enjoying the experience. Also, the skirt matched his outfit. - Although, I still want to buy a new pair of trousers and fresh underwear. Where is the nearest Walmart?
They were all sprawled around in a pink and small dressing room, crowded with one or two girls walking around and gathering their costumes. Hoseok found a few pieces of clothing from previous special shows, the last one was Cabaret themed so dazzles, sequins and feathers were everywhere. Yoongi studied how cameras could be positioned around. Nya was sitting on a fluff couch close to where Jungkook stood, Namjoon beside her.
— I liked here. - Namjoon threw his head back, staring at the ceiling. - Not only the girls, they are gorgeous and all, but the ambience seems appropriate for our movie. Carol is casted for sure, Sasha, Gabe and Sharon are also amazing, Jungkook never felt more pampered in his whole life. It’s quite a lot, considering he used to be an idol.
— They are amazing, I’m happy you guys liked it. - Nya smiled and Namjoon thought it was probably the most adorable thing ever, a sincere kind of smile. - I’m also glad Jungkook behaved so well next to Carol, she played dirty giving him that intense lap dance. He was clearly the most tense.
— Honestly, I don’t judge Jungkook. If Carol sat on my lap like she did with him, I’d probably bust a nut as well. She is hot. - Namjoon was embarrassed after pronouncing such words, but he felt madly comfortable around Nya.
— Oh, I don’t judge too. I’d also bust a nut if Carol ever sat on me. - Nya looked at Namjoon and saw his wide-eyes, laughing right after and watching him chuckles. His adorable dimples could kill someone.
Namjoon got distracted by Hoseok fazed with a huge fur coat which covered his whole body. It wasn't impossible to understand why Nya accepted and enjoyed that place, in contrast with what it looked like, Teets wasn't a regular strip club. There were way too many costumes, from cabaret to pimp or odalisque. The purple haired man questioned why.
— Everyone dreams of something. Most girls working here wished to become actresses, but somehow never reached it. - Her eyes became a bit sorrow, but got bright in nanoseconds. - Fábio, the manager and owner, understood and decide to help them a little. Twice a month their performances are themed. The girls chooses a subject and prepare presentations based on it, so they can play a character. Fábio also always encourage them to create a personality to their stage names. Cristal Malone is a dominatrix, Cherry Pop was inspired by Harley Quinn, Fendi Dust is based on Liz Taylor's interpretation of Cleopatra.
If there were any doubts in regard of renting the place, they vanished immediately.

Luckily yours and his fans understood about you guys and gave you guys ‘the brother and sister relationship goal’.He was like your brother.
Min Yoongi : Director Min
- ‘He was cold scary and strict.’that was what you have been heard about him even before you got this script.Well he looked like that but not exactly if you got to know him.
- He was actually a sweat guy who care everyone although he didn’t show it often.Yes he strict with a lot of thing and didn’t like failure but he didn’t to obsess with that in the level that he didn’t care others.Once the camera man in the crew was sick and he actually stop working that day.‘End the film today,we gonna start when he’s fine.’and he walked out the scene.
- He was the second one of closet people in the set.Not because he grew interest in you.He grew interest on your manager instead. When he first confess you,you actually laugh.‘Hey stop laughing at me.’‘So you havea crush on my manager?’‘Ye..yeah..*you laugh*Stop ugh!’

- Not many people knew about his actual job.He wasn’t a stylist that walk around the set and take care actors and actresses all day.His actual job was a choreographers. You’ve seen him dance once and it was incredible.‘Why don’t you tell me you could dance, hobi?’

Kim Taehyung : Camera man
- Speaking of the one who Yoongi end all the process just so he can rest, the story belong to this man.He was a professional one in the crew and always carry around his precious little baby a.k.a his camera.
- ‘Light, camera, action’ after Yoongi spoke that sentence,he would make sure that the camera angle, light setting and the other cameras were in their place. He would rearrange everything with or wihout Yoongi order if that’s mean he would get a better quality of the scene for the movie.Yoongi seem to not mind either as long as he got the perfect and the best for the movie.
- He was actually your old classmate when you were in your university. You share the same class which is art.He asked you at first that wether you remember him or not but your answer was no.He reintroduce himself made you felt upset a bit but your friendship start again from that day.
Jeon Jungkook : Camera man/Editor
- Best friend of Taehyung in the crew.He was young but his talent is beyond someone thought including you.At first you thought he was a trainee since he looked young but turn out he was actuall the editor for the movie. He was the owner of the studio called ‘G.C.F’ which came from Golden Closet film.
- Everyone in the set adore him as ‘a baby of the set’.Since he was the youngest and with that adorable look so why not. However he could be savage sometimes when Taehyung or Jimin tease him.Even you experience that moment before and it was actually embarrasing.
- Another good dancer for 3J team.He wasn’t a street dancer like Jhope or learned contemporary dance like Jimin. He actually managed to dance on his own and not only dance. He also have talent with other kind of things wether it his first time or done it before. He’s gloden maknae.
Another one finish....Actually The idea was come up randomly in my mind.I just thoughtabout their movie,Burn the stage and these idea popped in my head.I hope you guys enjoy reading this theme and see you nex time!

Jeon Jungkook // Stepbrother
A/N: I’m weak and this is cheesy as heCK but honestly I wrote this in 3 hours bc I thought of it on my drive home and I needed this out of my system ASAP.
Summary: You’ve been good pals with Yoongi and his friends for quite some time now. You know nearly everything about each other, except for the fact that Yoongi has a stepbrother named Jungkook. And well, you met him today.
Genre: Angst, fluff
Warnings: Like one swear word
You stand in front of a large white door.
Your close friend, Yoongi, invited you over a little bit ago for game night and told you to come as fast as you could. Instead of going over right away, you threw on some comfortable clothes and stopped by the store to buy some cookies.
It also took you awhile to figure out where Yoongi’s house is because he’s only invited you over once. It doesn’t help that whenever you two hang out, it’s either always at your place, the school, or some random restaurant that Yoongi found on Yelp. Considering he didn’t provide his address in the text, you were left trying to remember how to get to his house using a memory from five months ago.
But it’s alright because you’ve made it.
You ring the doorbell and wait for the door to open.
In a few seconds, it opens and Yoongi is grinning widely at you. “Y/N!” he cheers, pulling you into the house. You haven’t seen him this giddy in a while. “You brought cookies!”
You nod as you kick your shoes off and navigate your way around his neat house. Your socks slide across the hardwood floor and you meet Yoongi’s friends over in the dining room. It seems like they’re currently working on a jigsaw puzzle. Everyone has their own section of the puzzle and Hoseok surprisingly has a lot done.
Taehyung, Hoseok, and Jimin are helping each other find pieces while Namjoon and Seokjin tell them to hurry it up because the timer’s going. Are they actually trying to complete a puzzle within a certain amount of time? Are they crazy?
For a while, Yoongi was the only friend you had that’s older than you. When you two partnered up for a project, you became really good friends. Because of that, he introduced you to his friends, who all liked you a lot. They unanimously voted for you to be integrated into their friend group. You didn’t protest, which is why you’re pretty close with them today. They love you and treat you like a little sister--especially Taehyung, who gives you his jacket when your shirt is “too revealing.”
The boys are so protective over you that when you go on dates, they tag along, thinking that you don’t know. If the date is going really well, then they send Seokjin over to flirt with you, which makes your date uncomfortable and not want to go on a second one.
Still, you love them.
“Y/N!” Namjoon shouts giddily, waving you over so that you can sit next to him. “What took you so long?”
“I brought cookies,” you answer him, “and Yoongi didn’t tell me what his address was.”
“This is common knowledge!” Yoongi argues as he takes a seat on the other side of Seokjin. He glares at you before sliding over a puzzle piece to you. “Now, we have thirty minutes to finish this five hundred piece puzzle.”
“When did you start?” you ask, looking for pieces of green forest that might fit with your piece.
Seokjin laughs and shakes his head. “An hour ago.”
“You guys aren’t even close to done! How do you expect to get this done in thirty minutes?” you exclaim, now frantically scouring the pile for forest pieces. “Have you guys been goofing off this entire time?”
Namjoon bites back a smile, pulling down his black beanie so that it practically covers his eyes. “You know who we are! We can’t stay on task for ten minutes if our lives depended on it!”
“You boys are too much,” you mumble.
Twenty minutes later you are all screaming while searching for pieces that might fit together. Jimin has given up, slapping puzzle pieces out of others’ hands when they think that they’ve found “The One.” Everyone’s either screaming out of anger, panic, or hopelessness. The person that’s the rowdiest is Hobi--he won’t stop screaming. You’ve only been able to fit three pieces together, which is really not progressive at all, considering everyone else had at least thirty pieces.
“I need some water,” you say, sliding out of your chair and find your way to the kitchen to grab a water bottle.
Once you walk in, you see a tall black-haired boy standing over the sink, drinking something from a cup as it dribbles down his chin and maneuvers its way down his neck. He sees you from the corner of his eye and stops drinking to wipe the liquid away with his sleeve.
You’ve never seen this guy in your life. If you’ve ever seen him prior to this, you’d definitely remember. He’s pretty good looking.
“Hi,” you say shyly, suddenly realizing that guy is a stranger in Yoongi’s house. You decide that it’s a good idea to take initiative and start interrogating him. “May I ask who you are?”
It’s probably best to seem casual, so you shuffle over to the fridge as he answers you. “I’m Jungkook. Who are you?”
Now he’s the one that sounds skeptical. Why is he the one that’s skeptical of you? He could be a burglar...and armed. Yoongi locks his doors--how could this Jungkook guy get past Yoongi’s extreme security system? You can’t even get into his phone because his password is twelve characters long!
“Y/N,” you answer, opening the fridge and taking a water bottle from the second shelf. “So...what are you doing here?”
Jungkook starts laughing, covering his mouth with the sleeve of his white sweater. “I live here!” he says between laughs, not making eye contact with you whatsoever. He’s trying his hardest to avoid your gaze.
“I thought Yoongi lived here,” you mumble, taking a sip from your water bottle. Well, if he doesn’t live here then that makes sense as to why Yoongi rarely ever invites you over. Maybe he lives with Hobi and Seokjin. He’s always at their house anyway.
The guy stops laughing, but he can’t wipe the smile off of his face. “You really are clueless, aren’t you? Yoongi’s my roommate,” he adds on.
“Roommate?” You cock your head and purse your lips. “Yoongi never told me that he had a roommate.”
“What an ass,” Jungkook huffs, rolling his eyes and leaning against the marble counter. “He doesn’t tell you anything about me at all?”
You shake your head. “I guess not. This my first time witnessing your existence.”
“Jeez, I go to America for one semester and Yoongi fails to mention me to his friends,” he groans.
Your eyes light up after hearing about America and you change the subject. “America? How was it? I was thinking about studying abroad there in two years!”
“It was really nice! I made some really cool friends!” he says, suddenly not upset with Yoongi. “I was at a college in New York City so I have some really cool pictures of the city!”
“I’d love to see them,” you say. He walks over to you while pulling his phone out. He unlocks it and opens his gallery. “This is Times Square.” Jungkook enlarges a picture so that you can see him giving a peace sign to the camera. “I took a trip to Oregon with a few friends of mine and this is In-N-Out. I didn’t understand the hype until I had this.” He pulls up a picture of a hamburger that looks huge.
“Was it really that good?”
“It was so good,” Jungkook says, moaning at the thought of a burger. “Oh, and here’s a picture of my first pizza in New York! It cost me twenty-five dollars and tasted like cardboard but I loved every second of it.” The next picture is of him biting into a pizza.
None of these pictures are selfies, so he must’ve made friends easily while he was there. He seems like a likeable guy, so you don’t doubt that it was easy for him to meet others. You literally just met him now and he’s talking to you like you’ve known him for years.
“I’d love to study in New York,” you say in awe, admiring the pictures he’s showing you. “What’s your major?”
“Business administration,” Jungkook answers happily.
“Huh, I didn’t take you for the business type,” you reply.
He laughs and looks at you. “What did you think I was?”
He looks so good. How is it possible that you’ve never seen him before now? How could Yoongi keep his roommate a secret from you? Do the other guys know about Jungkook?
“You seem like the music type.”
“Like Yoongi?” Jungkook scoffs and shakes his head. “Never in a million years.”
Suddenly, Yoongi shows up with Taehyung. By the look on his face, you can tell that he knows what he’s done wrong. When Jungkook notices Yoongi, he crosses his arms and gives him a death glare.
“Is there any particular reason why you’ve been avoiding telling your cool friends about me?” Jungkook asks, patting your back and startling you.
Yoongi replies by scowling at Jungkook. “Fine. Jungkook, this is Y/N. Y/N, this is my stepbrother, Jungkook.”
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Stepbrother? They’re both related? It’s one thing to hide the fact that he has a roommate, but a brother? How is it possible to even hide that fact? Is Yoongi crazy? How could this do any harm to you?
“Wait, you’re brothers and you didn’t tell me this?”
Jungkook taps his foot and glares at his brother. He doesn’t look too happy with Yoongi. Well, if you were in his shoes, you wouldn’t be too happy either.
“Y/N, don’t get too close to other boys. They have cooties,” Taehyung says as he makes his way over to you. He wraps his arms around you and pulls you away from the scene that’s about to go down.
You let Taehyung pull you away. “What, you don’t like me knowing about Jungkook either?” you ask when you’re brought into Yoongi’s quiet and neat room.
He shrugs and you both sit down at the foot of Yoongi’s bed. “Well, Yoongi thought that you’d use him to get closer to Jungkook if he was brought up. Most girls do. He was just being wary Yoongi. Don’t be mad at him.”
“You know, I have feelings.”
“Yes, and it’s my job to protect you from the boys that will crush your feelings to bits!”
“You’re not always going to be there to protect me, Tae. I appreciate the gesture, but I really don’t think that Jungkook would break my heart.”
“Oh, Jungkook would never break your heart. He’s a big softie and you two would get along so well. Hoseok said so; he said that your personalities are compatible,” Taehyung says, putting an arm around you and pulling you close to him. “I think that Yoongi also didn’t mention it because he was scared you might break Jungkook’s heart too.”
“Is he really worrying over the fact that Jungkook and I might have feelings for each other after just meeting for the first time?”
Well, maybe you do have a little tiny crush on Jungkook, but that means nothing! You met the guy twenty-five minutes ago! It’s probably only lust.
“I dunno. Have you seen the guy? He’s a cutie.”
You blush and nudge Taehyung. “Stop it! You don’t want me to fall in love with him either!”
“Let’s go. I’m sure they’re done talking to each other.”
You follow Taehyung back to the kitchen and only Jungkook’s in there. He gives a small smile to both of you.
Tae waves to Jungkook. “It’d be nice if you joined us for game night,” Taehyung says to the lone boy. “We’re playing COD now.”
He walks off and you join Jungkook in the kitchen once again. “So, I was told that Yoongi didn’t tell me about you because he was scared I’d use him to get closer to you.”
“That’s funny. He told me that I’d break your heart,” Jungkook replies with a smirk on his face.
“I’m susceptible to heartbreak, I suppose. The guys take it upon themselves to protect me from negative feelings,” you explain, blushing wildly. “They’re my mentors in the ‘Game of Love.’ They always make sure that they’re there when I’m on a date and think that I don’t notice.”
Jungkook laughs. “Seriously? They did that to me!”
“No way. Did they always try to make the date go horribly wrong in order for there not to be a second date?”
He nods. “Yes! One time, they went into the kitchen of a restaurant and put salt in my water! When I drank it, I spit all over my date!”
“Those guys...” you mutter, shaking your head and trying to hold back a laugh. At least someone else knows how you feel when the boys interfere with your love life.
Jungkook pulls out his phone again and holds it out to you. He wants you to put your number into it. “Well, why don’t we go on a secret date and not tell the guys? I mean, I’d love to get to know you and I don’t think I’d ever be able to spit saltwater all over you.”
You giggle and nod before taking his phone and typing in your number. “Sure, but don’t talk too loud--Hoseok has ears like a hawk.”
“Then I’ll text you details later. For now, let’s go play some damn COD. I thoroughly enjoy kicking Jimin’s ass in that game.”
And with that, you both are off to the living room, where the screams of boys get louder and louder.
Oh, and your date?
It went smoothly. Fortunately for you, Yoongi approves, and the boys have decided not to sabotage your dates anymore.
