I was navigating through my mind and then this memory popped out.

This goal is probably the one I remember with the biggest smile on my face, this was one of the happiest days of my life and I was only 11 years old. I yelled the loudest I could when Eder scored, I ran over the entire house, I jumped, I cried and I did many more things...

I was shocked but I knew why he was crying, he did it because the memory of the lost final in 2004 came up to his mind. That final in 2004 was probably the most heartbreaking game he could remember and if there is something that we all learned from that match is to never underestimate your opponent.

Portugal underestimated Greece in 2004 and they managed to win, and so did we, when France underestimated us in 2016.

I can still remember every single word that the commentator said when the match was over "From tears to cheers and more tears, it's finally time of joy, Portugal's first major trophy against all the odds!"

Today our manager underestimated South Korea and we lost again. Let's just play our football without criticizing other teams and the best will happen to us.

Almost forgot to talk about THE MYTH.

Eder has a truly wonderful story, no one believed in him and he was constantly criticized even the commentator said "Eder, the striker who rarely scores", but then in a finger snap, he became the hero of the nation by scoring the most important goal in Portugal football history. God bless you, Eder.
