Uh. Only a few days back I told the cashier at a dessert café that I don't need printed receipts and she gave me a confused look and printed anyway. Plus I understand that some terminals processing card payment prints receipts as soon as the transaction is approved.. Sadly.
Kudos to automated machines that allow e-receipts! However for supermarkets, in my country this is only available in a more high-end supermarket, which in the long run may not be very sustainable for my wallet heh.. I hope that more outlets will have this paperless option. Besides going towards less waste it is just annoying to juggle with so many things on hands and piling up papers in the wallet or bag. And oh if something is wet this paper will tear and parts of it will stick on your belongings. Sad.
Nonetheless I am also thinking about places that print queue numbers. I won't go as far as banks. Bubble tea/boba stalls here do that! Probably they want to avoid customers taking the wrong item, but I think we shall find another way to do so. Names, perhaps, like how an infamous coffee chain (that I don't drink from btw hah) does it. Or.. Idk. Suggestions?

How I basically get all of my expansion packs for free!
I have been having a lot of conversations recently about different ways to save money and earn from home. These aren’t Jobs, and NO direct sales/MLM crap, You will never catch me promoting one of those again, I promise! These are simply tools I use to get the most bang for my buck, and to help me not feel like my spare time is completely wasted if I don’t have a task to fill it! I also find the gift cards super convenient when it comes time to buy new expansion packs or game packs, so I feel like I am basically getting them for free!
Swagbucks
This is the tool I have been using for the longest. I have had my account since 2009, though I haven’t used it consistently through that entire time… it’s a shame when I think about the potential earnings I missed out on, haha! But the important thing is that I am utilizing it again, and it is even better than it was when I first signed up! You can use Swagbucks to find coupon codes, you can answer surveys, play games, watch videos, and so much more! In exchange for doing these things (the same things you’d likely already be doing in your spare time) you can also earn Swagbucks for doing them! Swagbucks are a point system that you are able to redeem to “buy” different things through the Swag Store, including Gift Cards! My go-to is always Amazon gift cards. One year I paid entirely for my kids Christmas gifts using my Amazon gift cards from Swagbucks! It is completely free to sign up, you just have to be over the age of 13. My oldest daughter even has an account, and her sister is looking forward to signing up in April when she turns 13! It’s a great way for them to earn their own “spending money” through Amazon gift cards! Our family buys so much through Amazon that this really helps us save a ton of money! Sign up for SwagBucks HERE
Fetch Rewards
Another program that I really love and have been using for a few months now, is Fetch Rewards! Very similar to Swagbucks, in that you earn points that you can redeem for gift cards to different retailers, but there are a couple of very distinct features I LOVE about Fetch!
First, you can earn points off paper receipts, not just your online purchases! This is probably my favorite feature, because my family buys a LOT at the small store in our hometown. It’s owned by a local family, so isn’t exactly set up to have some sort of loyalty/rewards program with a big name app like you might find at Walmart or something like that. You just use the camera through the app to snap photos of the receipt, it scans for products and price, and you earn a different number of points based on your purchase. At the time of this writing, even if you don’t buy something that is set up to earn you points, you get a bonus 25 points per scanned receipt! (This could change, so be sure to check out the terms when you sign up) It adds up really quickly! Second, you can connect your Amazon account and your email account to Fetch, and when you go in to upload your receipts you can tell it to check for eReceipts and it will scan both your email and your Amazon account for recent purchases, and you earn points for those as well! Including the 25 point receipt bonus I mentioned previously! This is amazing, because I haven’t seen any other rewards program that rewards you for shopping with Amazon, and YES, I have confirmed that you DO get points for items purchased with gift cards! Sign up for Fetch Rewards HERE
Honey
Honey is yet another “points” based system that I have been using for a few years, but it works as a browser plugin (Swagbucks also has this feature, I just personally prefer Honey), and you can redeem for gift cards or even cash through Paypal! (The others may have this feature as well, I’ve never looked for it because I love me some Amazon gift cards!) Honey is great because it automatically scans any website you go to and it checks to see if there are rewards available. If they are set up with that website, they will automatically check and apply coupon codes for you, and/or apply a % of cash back as Honey Gold (the amount varies on each website). I find Honey super helpful when I’m shopping online, I get a lot of Honey Gold from buying my jewelry supplies at Michael’s, and any time someone in the house needs a new phone I’m sure to activate Honey before buying! I love that you can earn points from shopping, or even from subscribing to your favorite streaming services! You can redeem for a gift card when you’ve reached 1000 Gold ($10 redemption value). Sign up for Honey HERE
iBotta
Another shopping rewards program, except this one pays out in money, so it’s more like a rebate. I don’t use iBotta as frequently but figured that it’s worth mentioning because someone may find it more useful! With iBotta you can link your debit card and google play, and it will scan each time you shop, for points based on the items you purchased. It has a cool bar code scanner that helps you see if there are deals available for that product which can be really handy when planning out a grocery shopping trip! You need to reach $20 to request a pay-out for this one. Sign up for iBotta HERE
You could join one of these or all of them if you like, they are all similar but they each also have their own unique set of features, so find which one works best for you and your routine, or maybe a combination of the ones listed, whatever works best for you! I like to answer surveys in my spare time and do the Watch and Earn (both through Swagbucks) while I am watching TV or scrolling Facebook! I also have a routine with my family that any time anyone goes to ANY store, they bring me the receipt as soon as they walk in the house and I add it to my pile. Then, once or twice a week, I go through and snap them into Fetch! When I do my online shopping, I use Honey to check for coupon codes or to earn a % back in Honey Gold. I also use Fetch once a week to scan my email and Amazon for recent purchases (this is such a great feature!). So many great ways to earn that hardly take any time at all! Comment below if you know of any that I missed!

If you haven’t tried Fetch, it’s definitely worth it! You get 2,000 points just for signing up and scanning your first receipt! You always get some points for shopping! The lowest I’ve gotten is 25 points. You can link you email to get points for any ereceipt! It’s not like other shopping reward apps, where you have to buy certain items to get ANY points. Just scan your receipts and you get points, bonus points if you get any listed items on the app! Use my referral code and we both get points when you upload your first receipt!

Fetch Rewards
Tumblr media
Ever heard of Fetch Rewards? Well, it’s an income program you can make money online. We will see it today.
Fetch Rewards
Tumblr media
Fetch Rewards is having a Refer a Friend event through THIS TUESDAY: get 7,000 points for every 2 friends you refer, and your friends also get 2,000 points when they scan their first receipt. 2,000 points is $2.
Use the code TTQWH and scan a receipt to get the $2, then just refer 2 friends to get $7. Remember to make sure you get them to scan a receipt BEFORE WEDNESDAY!
Info about Fetch Rewards: you get points from scanning grocery receipts, and it even works with eReceipts (like Amazon purchases). 1,000 points = $1, and you get 2,000 points from each person you refer.
See also: create an online course and make money
The first 2 receipts you scan gives you 750 and 500, then every receipt after that is 200 points. You can’t use the same receipt with 2 different accounts (I tried doing that).
With just 5,000 points, you can immediately redeem them for a $5 gift card of your choice- and there’s a very wide selection for you to choose from. It goes up to $50 (the equivalent of 50,000 points).
So if you refer your family and friends, you could immediately start out with a lot of points :) They have to scan a receipt in order for you to get the points, though.

Make Money with Fetch Rewards
Tumblr media
Looking for the top ways to make money online? In this guide, we all share how to with with Fetch Rewards. Before we start, we sure to check out 8 Articles to make money and of course, making money as a freelancer.
Just as a user recently said,
I’ve gotten $30 so far off of the app Fetch Rewards, and it legitimately gave me gift card money. I just thought I’d share it with you all to maybe help some of you.
You just scan receipts or eReceipts to get points, and redeem gift cards for those points. Your first scan will get you $1, and using the code TTQWH when you sign up will get you $2 more.
From there, you could use other receipt apps like Ibotta in conjunction with Fetch Rewards.
I find Fetch Rewards the easiest to use and the most navigable too. Easy way to make a bit of money if you’re a teenager stuck at home, too.
More reads: #1. Making Money with an income program and #2. start a podcast and make money.

               How do e-receipts work?
There are two ways to explain e-receipts. One is when you make a vendor payment, and the other is when a customer purchases something from you and requires a receipt.
Tumblr media
When you pay your vendor:
In the first case, you will pay your vendor for the goods you purchased from them. The transaction has been completed, and the funds have been received. You've both received the bank notification. However, in the business world, you would also need a confirmation receipt from your vendor to add proof to your payment.
Assume you choose to receive a digital receipt from them. If your vendor has digital receipt generation software, their accounting team will enter transaction details, generate an e-receipt, and email it to you. If they do not have receipt management software and you are still hesitant to receive digital documents, they may scan and send a paper receipt.
When your customer purchases from you:
Sending digital receipts to customers contradicts what has been stated above. You are now the owner of a business, and you have a customer. They compensate you for the goods/services you provide. You send them a business receipt right away because you are smart and already have receipt management software. This is how it operates.
