What would happen if Chiaki came across the Water Spirits in your AU?

Of course, she would become Ranamon, Anon✨, and no, I don’t think Ranamon needs a “purified” design at all.

I want Chiaki to deal with her water spirit the way it is, with its ebbs and flows. I read Ranamon is a Digimon that’s connected with emotions, so this does make her even more interesting as a Digimon to control. She can be a Human Spirit that’s not always that easy to master, because it’s at the mercy of your own feelings. It’s enough for Chiaki to be conquered by a pinch of anger to start feeling the STRUGGLE; for her to be hit by unpleasant memories to lose her composure, -because she gives the vibes of a girl who’s always trying being perfect, collected, repressing her feelings maybe due to some family situation I would love coming up with-.

I mean…Wuthering kids, which can also mean I can see Junpei and Izumi getting their own challenges with their spirits. Imagine Junpei? He is afraid of lightnings and the show makes it clear that when he’s Blitzmon, he can’t feel fear. Ok, so what if he snaps out of that calm state of mind in the middle of a fight and suddenly begins feeling the sizzling energy inside him?

Izumi’s arc would be interesting to me if it was about control too, but that arc has been given to Chiaki. I kinda want Izumi to grow self-hatred after a while, because she keeps on losing her fights and being rescued, eventually feeling the need to isolate herself from her new friends, just like she does at school. I already wrote something similar in a draft. Hmm, it was about her feeling the worst kind of wind on her skin as if it was made of knives🤣. Very……Funny, yah🤣, a bit like MTTCI.

logan purrs when he's asleep. he purrs like a content little cat when he's smushed into wade's side, his whole adamantium weight pressing into wade who doesn't really mind because ✨️who in their right mind says no to wolvie cuddles✨️ (wade uses him as a weighted blanket anyway, who needs air pffffft he doesn't)

but HOLY MARVEL JESUS he has a silent freak out the first time he discovers logan purring in his sleep during one of their movie binges. (they have weekly movie nights fight me)

a healthy (not) bout of cuteness aggression happens that night and even though wade is a little confused both by the fact that logan actually fell asleep on him and that HE IS PURRING OH MY GOD- he doesn't fight it and even naps with him (the best sleep both of them have ever had considering lots of nights are full with nightmares and insomnia)

and the thing is- wade very carefully talks to some of the surviving xmen in their universe about it and they just go 🤔🤨❓️ because not one of them has ever seen or heard logan do this (i'd imagine maybe kayla or mariko, scott even - logan told him about them, but hey wade can't really ask them can he) and then wade REALIZES and it hits him SO hard. logan is comfortable with him. he's at ease and relaxed enough in his presence to allow himself to slip into his slightly more animalistic traits without having to fear any judgement or rejection. he. is. comfortable. and wade maybe cries a little (a lot) at that realisation, holding logan even tighter when it happens again - the older man slumped against him during one of their movie nights, sleeping tight and soft purrs vibrating deep from his chest

When Phainon is in the mood to dom, it always occurs unexpectedly.

There are no signs, no indications, but eventually he comes home to you and just the way he stands in the door frame tells you something is different today.

He doesn't let you know via teleslate beforehand either. And it's entirely on purpose.

Because he is aware how it makes you pause to see him like this. The way he carries himself, his posture, the look in his eyes. It makes you look. Unable to break the eye-contact with him.

And he knows the effect it has on you.

He keeps the eye-contact with you, doesn't let you break it either, until he knows your heart is beating in your throat and he has you right where he wants you.

"Put that down and come here," he tells you - no, commands - and you stop whatever chores you were doing at the time to oblige. To obey.

You come to stand before him and slowly look up at him, into those blue eyes that stare at you. The glance in them so firm and unyielding. Rare for him. But all the more thrilling to see it directed at you now.

A subtle upwards curve of his mouth before he speaks again.

"Kneel."

A shudder runs through you, powerful enough that he must see it, and you drop to your knees without questioning. Just a thundering pulse and a treacherous fog filling your mind.
