augh she means so much to me she's literally the transition point for pretty much all my OCs after like, 2019/2020. literally this woman right here, this force of nature, helped teach me so much more about character design and story and characterization than pretty much any other character ive ever made since i started making them as a kid. the only oc with that much of a role in my creative life would be Trinity, my very first ever OC who i started out with when i was like, 8 seriously, Ever is the girl and i love her so much. heres to 4 years of Ever!! 🥳🥳🥳

so, i'm making a college au for mlp characters and its kinda turning out to be more like. a filipino college au ? but im STILL working on it so here's some info i have raynao ↓↓↓

twilight is nonbinary + bisexual (probs half filipino) and a first year. not sure what major yet but definitely under stem !!

in my head, their appearance changes throughout the school years, like their hair might grow longer, might be dyed at times, they might dress differently, etc.

rainbow dash is an aeronautics major !! she's lesbian and genderfluid and definitely a character im sure is filipino in my au

he's also a volleyball player !! as u can see in the pic. so im like eeeee i love that for her

applejack and pinkie pie major in hrm and likely dorm together, im still working on that idea. aj is def a lesbian, pinkie pie might be pan. im leaning towards pinkie being more genderfluid as well. ethnicity wise, i dont actually have an idea yet ,,,? but pinkie pie is definitely black to me

fluttershy and rarity im planning on being in the same major ? design, maybe. they're also one of my ships for this au aside from twijack !!

okay here are some things i noticed and want to talk about!

stella has stockings and a little wand! possibly her scepter replacement? i don't Love the little wand but i do like that it's blue :)

i Hate the way the wings look,, they're so Hard and so unfairy to me. it does look like there's a gradient fade where it connects to the back? but the actual wings,,, eeeee it's a no for me. i do Like the design of flora's (stella's has yet to grow on me - we'll see), i just hate how hard they look. But i recognize that this is likely a budget and 3D limitation so,,, Fine

some background fairies!! so much more diversity it actually surprised me ajhgd they're def trying, i'll give them that

this background fairy who might be amaryl? or i'm seeing things but similar color palette ! it'd be fun if it was her!

adventure/mission suits!!! i actually like these they're really cute,, and bloom in a darker blue! and tec in dark purple! aisha in green! bloom bun!!

specialists fan we have tentatively won - brandon fans your man might still look like a twink ajkgd it looks like a return to the same suits for them but their individual colors pop up more in these little glowy parts on their suits! also orange as a main color which i don't love but it could grow on me. their suits also look a lot more scifi and armor esque which isn't a surprise at all. also little backpacks now? kinda cute,, still nervous about riven's hair. it doesn't look good in this scene But tbf he is far away and moving very fast so Maybe Maybe Maybe we shall see idk but a return to shoulder length hair for sky!!! so far he looks the best imo but i'll wait to see all of them standing still before i cast Too much judgement aljhgd but the boys are here! at least three of them are akjdg

Guess what game I just finished!!!

I dont have a lot to say on this because I think over the past 20 years people have already said enough.

But... MY GOD! The level of variety, creativity, and fresh ideas each chapter brings holy SHITTTT!!! One moment you're going underground with a cute goomba girl, then you're fighting a dragon, then you're playing a World 1-1 recreation with BOWSER! Then you're playing as Peach who has this deeply emotional and sad relationship with an AI (Tec is the goat, I love that ai. Top 10 ai in fiction idc), then you're doing a tournament arc AND THEN YOU'RE DOING A TRAIN MYSTERY OH MY GOODNESS!!!!

The combat is really fun and charming, THE DIALOGUE IS SO WELL WRITTEN AND I LAUGHED MULTIPLEEEEE TIMES!!! I love the characters, I love the world, I love the art style, i love most of the boss fights, the music is banging (I played with the original ost), God there's so much to love.

I will say, the final chapter of this game did kinda drag on, and there's so many points where I was thinking "okay NOW I get to fight the final boss!" And it takes another hour to get to them.... there's so many obvious signs of padding (copy and pasted hallways, a trash "pick the right door" puzzle, etc.)

I also didn't like how when you swapped partners that counts as a turn, i feel like you should be able to swap without wasting a turn because it would help with the flow of combat and make using Goombella's tattle less of a fucking pain...

Also....

VIVIAN IS SO FUCKING CUTE!!! I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!! SHE'S MY FAVOURITE PARTNER BY FARRRRR!!!!! Goombella is really cute too and she has amazing dialogue. I love the storyline of Admiral Bobbery too and that stuff made me cry... but...EEEEE I LOVE VIVIAN!!!!

GOD I JUST WANNA HUG HER!!! I WANNA PINCH HER CHUBBY CHEEKS!!! I WANNA RUB HER BELLY!!!! Nintendo I need a plushie of her yesterday. Come on. Please... I need one...

6. Flurrie.

No. Just... no I don't like her. Her design creeps me out, I don't give a shit about her moves. I never used her. Get her away from me.

5. Goombella.

Although very cute I found her more of a hindrance and i kept going, "ugh I gotta swap to her to get the tattle..." At least her design and personality are cute. Plus, she's more useful than that creepy ass Flurrie....

4. Koops.

I like him! He helped me out a LOTTT in the final battle, his later moves that you can unlock make him pretty damn good. Although I am jealous that this wimp has a girlfriend....

3. Admiral Bobbey.

Honestly I think the reason why he might be this high is because of his story. I really felt bad for him... his design is also killer, I LOVEEEE Bob-ombs so much!

2. Mini-Yoshi.

The fact that you can name him is really funny to me idk why. He's got some very helpful moves and his ability to help you move faster in the overworld is really nice. I like how he calls you Gonzalez too. What a fun character man.

1. Vivian.

I already said why I like her earlier but I'll go on further.

I LOVE HER STORYLINE TOO!!! I LOVE HER DESIGN!!! I LOVE HOW SHE'S TRANS AND THE REMAKE DIDN'T GET RID OF IT LIKE HOW THE ORIGINAL NORTH AMERICAN AND EUROPEAN RELEASES OF THE GAMECUBE VERSION GOT RID OF IT!!!

God.... I love her. I wanna kiss her on the cheek. She's so cute. Her moveset too is fire!.... wait..

Summary: It is Chris and your's first valentines day as a couple, after a long day of work, you recieves a call from chris explaining that he had made big plans for the evening..

"Have fun tonighttt!" I say to my colleaugue Jess, who had been babling all day about her romantic evening with her boyfriend. She kept asking me what Chris was planning for me, but he hadn't said anything except his usual 'Morning, how are you princess?' morning text. He probably just thinks valentines is overrated, why have a day designated to spending time with your partner when you have every day with them. I sorta feel that way too to be completely honest, growing up it would always confuse me why everyone would get so fluttered about February 14th, and how they don't have a valentine. Whatever.

I left the boutique and headed towards my mini across the street. I was about a mile away from my apartment complex when an incoming call alert showed on the car screen, it was Chris.

"Hey babe whatsup?" I ask.

"Hey beautiful, you're on your way back from work now right? i'll be there in ten" he says

"Oh okay, i'm about a minute away now, i've missed you!" I exclaim with a soft smile.

"I’ve missed you more, which is why i have a big night planned for us."

"Huh?" I reply.

"You'll see." He says, in a playful tone. "See you in a minute gorgeous"

"Alright bye, love you" I say as i click off the call. I pondered what he might've planned as I pulled into my parking spot.

As I reached the corridor of my apartment, I was met by Chris, who was already stood outside my door waiting for me. He had a red balloon with a bouquet of red roses, with a black gift bag. I smiled cheesily as i approached him.

"Happy valentines" He says , grinning as he pulls me in for a kiss.

"Oh my gosh you really went all out," I exclaim in excitement, eyeing the roses. There were 3 pink ones in the middle of the bouquet shaped like a heart. He knew i loved pink roses.

"I might have something for you too, inside" i say with a smirk.

"What is it?" He says excitedly, his eyes lighting up like a kid recieving a birthday gift.

I smile and unlock the door, we were immediatly greeted by my two cats, Mimi and Wes, who were demanding food through their rushed meows.

"Hey little babies!" Chris says in a high pitched voice that everyone has when they talk to animals. Chris adored Mimi and Wes, and sometimes I think they love him more than they love me. As Chris was distracted with them, I hurry to the kitchen where I left his gifts. I glided back into the living room where Chris was sat cuddling the cats.

"Eeeee okay open your gifts!" I say, handing him a gift bag and small white box. He opened the bag and pulled out a black prada wallet, along with a keychain with our names on.

"Oh wow thank you so much baby I love these!" He exclaims, examining the keychain. I grabbed the box and opened it for him, inside were twelve cupcakes with vanilla frosting decorated with red hearts.

"Did you make these?" He asks.

"Mhmm" I say through a smile.

"Wow, they look almost as yummy as you" He says with a grin.

"Alright gimme that bag" I laugh, pointing towards the black gift back he brought with him. He excitedly placed it onto my lap, watching my eyes,awaiting my reaction.

I untied the bow to find a black chanel bag, alongside a small black box which had 'Vivienne Westwood' engraved on it. I reached for them both, admiring the bag before I opened the box.

"Oh wow, Chris this is perfect thank you so much!" I exclaim. I open the box to find a pair of the vivienne westwood earrings, the same ones that Chris has.

"We can match now" He says.

I look into his eyes smiling as we leaned in to kiss eachother. I've missed him. This whole week has felt like a month, and seeing him just completes me, and makes me forget about everything that has happened in the day beforehand. We are interupted by the cries of Mimi and Wes again, and i get up to feed them.

"Okay so I booked a table for us at Boa for seven thirty" Chris says as I place the cat bowls onto the floor.

"Ooh okay baby, I can't wait" I reply. I walk back over to the couch to check the time 17:37.

"Okay i'm gonna go shower and start getting ready" I say, giving him a small kiss again, and as I stand him he double taps my ass.

"Ohh do that again, I like it rough!" I joke, imitating a seductive voice, knowing this will trigger a reaction from him.

"Ohhhh-kaaayyy" He says through his giggles, his hands came up to his eyes pretending to rub them. I laugh and then head to the bathroom.

I stand under the warm downpour, my head up and eyes closed, warming up in the water. Suddenly I feel hands grab each side of my waist,causing me to gasp, followed by a kiss on the back of my left shoulder.

"You scared the shit outta me!" I say turning around, smiling at the sight of Chris.

"Sorry, I just missed you so much" He says pulling me in to him, our arms were now wrapped around each other's backs.

"Oh yeah?" I say as I leaned in to connect his lips with mine, our tongues interlock. After a few moments, I feel his hard-on touch my leg. I reach one hand down to tease him, gently rubbing my fingers around his tip. I see him start to squint, and then he smiles and looks into my eyes with lust. He moves his hands down to my ass and picks me up, I wrap my legs around his waist as he places me against the wall. My hands pulling on his shoulders for support as I pull myslef up slightly and ease myself onto him. I slowly move down, causing us both to let out a gasp. We connect our mouths again as the movements of our hips begin to speed up.

"Holy shit" He whispers softly between letting out silent moans. My breaths were becoming deeper and louder as he grazed my g-spot.

"Yes..right there...fuck" I whisper desperately just before a moan escapes my mouth. I repositioned my hands, almost digging my nails into his back as I felt my climax approaching.

"I'm so close" He whispers, his voice wavering through his breaths. The sounds of my body slamming against the wall was just barely masked by the sound of the shower. My legs tensed up around him as I felt the euphoric sensation burst through my core, making me release a loud, pornographic moan. We finished cleaning up, and went to my bedroom to get dressed. I decided on my deep red satin minidress with a red laced bra and thong set. Chris dressed in black straight leg cargo pants with a black button down long sleeve shirt. He grabbed a speaker from his backpack and put on a playlist whilst we were getting ready. The time was now half six, just enough time to do my hair and makeup as the restaurant was only a five minute walk from my apartment complex.

I did a warm bronze look on my eyes, with a small wing liner, mascara, blush and bronzer with a bold red lip to finish it off. I took the rollers out of my hair which allowed it to bounce down into a fresh blowout. I put my new earrings Chris gifted me in, along with a small silver necklace. Chris, who was of course already ready, was sat on the bad admiring me as I spray on perfume.

“Wow you look unreal” he says.

I turned around and smile, then blowing him a kiss. I put on a pair of black kitten heels and grab my new bag before taking Chris’s hand and leaving for the restaurant.

We had finished our meals, and on our last drink before deciding to leave. Chris reached for my hand again as we left the restaurant, giving me a small kiss on the cheek.

“What movie do you watch when we get back?” Chris asks.

“Hmm, I don’t know maybe a romcom… what about the notebook!” I say excitedly, it was one of my favourite movies, and I knew Chris hadn’t watched it before. But he would give in, he wouldn’t say no to me, not tonight.

“Alright you got it” he replies.

We finally get back to the apartment and as I unlock the door, Chris scoops me up and carries me inside, kicking the door shut and turning to lock it. He carries me to the bedroom and drops me onto the bed. I let out a soft giggle, slightly blushing. He lowers down and unstraps my heels, tossing them on the floor. He then crawls up my body, lifting up my dress, revealing my crimson underwear. I use my arms for support as I lift my head to watch him.He traces his fingers over the underwear, teasing, starting to brush against my clit area.

After a moment, he climbs higher up my body, reaching my neck and starts planting kisses all over, with the occasional bite. I lean my head back as I indulge his marks. He moves a strand of hair out of my face and kisses my red lips. Pulling on my shoulders he moves me up so we are both now sitting, still interlocked to each other’s mouths. He wraps his hands around my shoulders again and starts to unzip my dress. As his hands reach my lower back, he rolls me on top of him, laying down to pull the dress all the way off. I place one hand over his crotch area, rubbing against it whilst I unbuckle and unzip his pants with my other hand. I mean, imagine her being able to create illusions of anything she wants. she would abuse the fuck out of that power, regardless of whether or not she uses it for good or bad. I think she also believes herself to be this smart, cunning, stealthy (and foxy) kind of person while in reality everyone else just perceives her as a loud, obnoxious, conniving, and mean person. A big focus on FBAU!Chloe is her childhood/inner child and the resentment she has, coupled with how she thinks of and interacts with her half sister. There’s also a lot of thought behind her hero name/design and its comparison to zoe’s hero name/design, but i’ll wait to get into that until later in the story :3

there’s also a lot of thought put into her pinterest board!! I aimed to use more solitary and/or aggressive fox imagery, compared to zoe’s where I opted for young sibling fox imagery to represent her feelings towards her sister!! I could ramble about them for a hot minute, I’ve been really enjoying rebuilding some of the canon characters i dislike into something more my taste (chloe, luka, etc)

(also i LOVE her smile!!! you arent anthropomorphizing in the slightest for that - miri often does have very human expressions in a way that's odd for a merfolk, because she effectively got imprinted during her time spent inland... and its politically useful if you smile and match expressions with the people you're trying to work with anyways)

ill also go ahead and answer your questions because i can! very easily clarify on them!

the color: actually, being bright red and pink is actually very common for deep sea animals, due to the way light works at depth! its why i decided miranda was abyssal, because that felt like the most natural way to explain why she's pink, since it's such an uncommon color in nature.

basically, different colors of light have different lengths! red is the shortest wavelength of light, and blue is the longest. water might be clear, but there's a lot of water in the ocean, and the more water you add, the more it filters out light - which is why the bottom of a pool might be dark and shady, but if you hold a little of the water in your hands there's no shade. the ocean is a lot deeper than a pool, and so it gets darker as you go down, but because it's also clear, it doesn't filter out all that light at the same rate.

red, being the shortest wavelength of light, gets filtered out first, so red often gets quickly darker the deeper down you go, until it's completely black! camouflage is dependent on the environment, so their color and brightness has to match the background, but it also depends on the light that's hitting the animal. it's why fawns have dappled spots, or animals might have black stripes, so they can mimic the light of their environment. and when your environment has no red light, well... red's a pretty good color to be!

because of this, a lot of animals in the deep sea can't actually see red either, which is doubly the reason why you might want to be red! think of it like tigers, and how ungulates often can't see their orange, making them look just about the same color as the foliage around them when they're hunting! miranda might stick out on land, but that's just because we aren't seeing her in the environment she's made for, where she blends in with everything else around her as much as a pure black animal.

(it's also why her bioluminescence is blue - blue is the longest wavelength of light, and the one most animals can see at that depth. if she lights up, then she wants to be seen, and she can even alter her silhouette to appear larger or smaller or breaking it up into multiple shapes if she needs to. it's why her tapetum lucidum is blue when light's shone on it, because there is blue light to be seen at depth, it's just very dim!)

(this is also why giant squid are bright red, and why the stoplight loosejaw fish is so special! the latter actually produces its own red light, and can see red light, which means that it has a secret light that won't reveal where it is but will reveal to it where its prey is!)

food: this is something that depends a lot, because there are actually multiple different species of merfolk, which is mostly my fault because i don't always feel like i communicate this the best. they're all slightly different in how they evolved to capture prey, with abyssals in particular being fuckoff huge ambush predators that attack from below, and others being shallower-water hunters or more adapted for smaller, faster prey - but they all evolved from an ancestor with a fairly consistent prey-capture method.

in short, all merfolk are ancestrally evolved to hunt whales and other large prey items, with all the extant species still holding at least a degree of this. primarily, they were ambush predators who were good at getting in close to their prey before a sudden burst of speed. they would work together in close-knit groups (one of the big pressures for their increasing socialization and larger brains, to coordinate such groups) to all mob a single prey item at once, hitting with force to cause sudden trauma, and then using their claws, double-thumbs, back feet, and mouths to hold onto their prey and refuse to be dislodged. they'd repeatedly claw and use their strong bites and massive heads to rip deeply into their prey, causing further massive trauma and shock, and if that failed, bleeding their prey to death.

think of it like the raptor prey restraint model, just further taking advantage of the fact that they were underwater, where no one else has hands that could potentially rip them off. being smaller and somewhat less-optimized for marine life compared to things like sharks and whales and large fish worked for them, because they had a novel adaptation that allowed them to take advantage of things no one else could, and the numbers to make up for it. this is, likewise, why they never lost their hands and fully developed flippers, instead making their limbs as flipper-like as possible to make up for it.

then as time went on and certain populations became separated from each other, they adapted for slightly different niches, but all remain fairly closely related to each other as a genus.

in the modern day, most merfolk don't really "hunt" for all of their meals, at least not in the same way that we might think. don't get me wrong, they still absolutely hunt and it's a larger part of their lives than it is for most humans, but they have options.

mostly, the merfolk theory for their relationship with nature is to invite it in. this is not to say they aren't controlling and pruning it, but they do live underwater, and it's far harder to keep animals out than it is on land, so merfolk accepted it and worked with it. they'll work to promote growth around their buildings and where they live, fostering the growth of sea grass and algae and coral and other sessile animals, encouraging them to set down and grow in these areas, and they'll then let more wild animals move in, further encouraged by these natural sources of food and shelter, on top of merfolk working even further to encourage them in. they serve as a functional cleanup crew for the merfolk in these settlements, being allowed to eat anything that merfolk might drop or go to waste, and even moreso might be purposefully fed at times, or have specific homes for them built. merfolk will keep encouraging them and taking care of them until they become a biorich hotspot, creating unique oasises for wildlife to live alongside merfolk.

however, this isn't just a free-for-all, persay. merfolk will also purposefully prune these populations and control how they form, often removing "problem" animals and encouraging certain behaviors which makes it easier for these populations to live alongside merfolk, not viewing them as a threat, but also not viewing them as an opportunity either. they will directly shape how these areas grow and cultivate them on a physical level, often using them as an easy shortcut to literally grow their settlements and buildings. but they will also harvest from these populations and selectively breed them, until their cities and towns act as massive public gardens full of food to be caught, picked, and eaten at any time

as there are also a lot of (very politically powerful) nomadic groups, they also do this, albeit not always so directly. they'll have specific shoals or "runs" of fish that they will follow behind and take care of, managing as they move through the ocean in accordance with the seasons. this is where the whales still factor in, because the nomadic groups will also take care of the whales, purposefully keeping an eye on their pods and taking care of them and, when the time comes, being choosy and particular in which whale they select at any given time to be hunted, harvested, and eaten.

(there's also the way in which food is distributed and managed throughout the merkingdom, since some food is indeed shipped and moved throughout the different areas, but that's a different story for another time and i've talked enough)
