Our Creative Space (Part 1: General Tour)

This week’s blog is a tour of our creative space! This week, you get so see where the behind-the-scenes work happens for Worlds Apart! 



Welcome to THE STUDIO!



We’ve set up the studio to be a highly functional and organized space where we can not only create, but entertain! Our set-up has three modes: Creation-Mode, Brainstorm-Mode, and Entertainment-Mode!

Creation-Mode - This is the most common mode we use because this is when we remix music, produce, and actually dive into the creative process. Think of it as our basic office mode. 

Brainstorm-Mode - For this mode, we take the lights down, light some candles and have a healthy snack and drink or two while we relax and talk about the future of Worlds Apart.

Entertainment-Mode - This is our most exciting mode! This is when we turn on all of our colorful lights. In this mode, we hold small get-togethers and chill or dance while listening to some amazing music. (Sometimes we use this for Brainstorm-Mode too!)

We dedicated almost an entire floor to our space and we started out with our central command center. We chose an L-Desk so we could produce on one side, and mix on the other. The benefit of this desk and having it facing the room is so that we can access all of the equipment from behind so that we can change up cables and make adjustments.

Right behind the desk, we have an idea station where we write ideas, goals, and other such messages and underneath, we’ve set up our speaker system so we can understand the impact our music will have on our audience.

We’ve also made the effort to include our brand throughout the studio to remind us of who we are and what we stand for.

In addition to that effort to surround ourselves in our brand, we included elements of comfort, light, and music. We have lined the wall with panels that are covered in lyrics from our favorite music.
