i genuinely think one of the best things you can do is travel alone. im not talking being stupid and unsafe, im talking taking trips on public transport, go to public places by yourself, and MEET people. youd be amazed at the amount of people you meet just because you have no one else to talk to. you tap into conversations, you get invited to events, you make conversation. traveling by yourself and meeting people is such an incredible experience and i hope everyone can experience it

#today i met two scientists on the train #one an astrologist from galway and one a computer genius from india. i went on a guided tour and after got invited along on an outing to #another museum plus a pint and then the 3 of us met 2 more people and shared drinks with them #traveling and meeting people is sooo important #courtesy of cyrus #EDITING!!!!!!!!!! sorry i meant ASTRONOMER. from galway. not astrologist. like i said i had a pint directly before writing this. please do #not hold this against the very kind and smart woman we met who let us talk about jumping spiders
