2016 Versatile Blogger Award
I was nominated for the 2016 Versatile Blogger Award by KimKnight_Author of Romance/Suspense & Crime fiction – https://kimknightauthor.com/
Kim was the only person that took the time to converse with me, in length. Like a nurturing mother to a child she came to his rescue when he had fallen and bruised his knee. As he screamed out in pain, she took the extra time to make all things better by…

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. The Three Ws are: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next? Personal: Thursday: I took Vinnie in to get his microchip. The head vet of the shelter came out and apologized to me. She said she would make sure that it didn’t happen again. Vinnie was a little…

WWW Wednesday—October 26th, 2022
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. The Three Ws are: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next? Personal: Thursday—nothing too spectacular happened. I did get a review written (Steel Fear) and continued my knocking out of my TBR list. Miss R also had an appointment in the morning. Friday—No…

Visceral Fears
I bow my head at what I’ve become,
deep, dark death, a fallen one
oozing onyx blood and tears
presaging deathly fears
on winged journey
from a bedimmed army
I arrive dripping tears,
onyx daggers icing prayers
crescent wings enfolding visceral fears
we depart together
immortal soul and dark angel
to another sphere

Grainy Worldview
I woke to a grainy view
bigotry speckled a gray hue
I woke to a grainy stain
bloody murder shaming a foul reign
I woke to a grainy rebuke
dodgy words of a grand-duke
I woke to a grainy pain
deep-seated hatred, black and white
Will it ever wane?

For the first time in her life, her guard came down, but she didn’t relent so easily, and neither did Adam, who continued to pursue her for several days around the university…
