ft. roderick heffley x f! reader â diary of a wimpy kid
â°â⧠the alcohol made you do it, maybe the feelings tooâ0.7k words
kinktober 2024: oct 6. intoxication
contains: smut!! dom reader & sub roderickâslight dubcon due to intoxication, reader is a popular mean girl, roderick is whipped & whiny, unprotected piv, more plot than porn sorry
†author's note: how did roderick not have any maidens in the movies
âoh my god, could you be any fucking louder?!â you hissed. you couldnât believe you were doing this, hooking up with a loser like roderick heffley. what would your friends think if they ever found out? they would probably exile you and tell everyone in the school, youâd never hear the end of it unless you moved to a different country or something.
âcan help it,â he slurred, planting his face in between the valley of your breasts, âyouâre so prettyâŠâ everything about this altercation felt like a dream, so hammered that he couldnât even think straight and in bed with one of the prettiest girls heâs ever seen in his entire life. he wishes that he didnât drink so much to remember this moment and treasure it, but he also knows that this wouldnât have happened in the first place if he was any less buzzed.
all you could do was roll your eyes, but at least he was more quiet now that his moans were being muffled by your tits. the music blaring through the walls was loud, yet still not loud enough to drown out how noisy he was. this wasnât something you typically did, but you were wasted and liked the way he looked at you, so here you were in his bed with his throbbing cock buried deep inside of you.Â
âi canât believe iâm doing this,â you sighed, rolling your hips into his and hearing him choke on a moan. âthis is all your fault for throwing such a boring ass party.â his little brother and his friend managed to renew some of the fun, but they ended up falling asleep before midnight and the rest of the party was carried on by drunken antics.Â
ââm sorryâŠâ
you let out a sound in exasperation at the pang of pity his apology left in your heart, gritting your teeth and closing your eyes for a moment so that you didnât need to look at how pathetic he was. âitâs fineâŠâ despite how cruelly you treated him at times, he was pretty easy on the eyes and not that bad of a fuck even if heâs clearly more inexperienced than you.
itâs actually kinda cute, you have to admit, how he looks up at you like youâre a goddess and touches you like heâs never seen a woman before. it gave you a rush of confidence that youâd never felt before, but in the end, he was just a hookup and this was the product of drinking too much. you donât even get the satisfaction of âtamingâ the bad boy because heâs just some wannabe drummer of a shitty band whose music would make a deaf person beg for them to stop playing, one who chases skirts like a lost puppy and is known for being a flirt so terrible that not even the most desperate girls would be put off by his attempts of being cool.
and yet youâre still here on top of him, his hands digging into your thighs before you grab one of them by the wrist and direct them to rub at your clit, throwing him a bone by praising him for following your directions so obediently and feeling his cock twitch inside of you at your words. you could argue that it was the alcohol all you wanted, and maybe you have to thank it for initiating this contact, but you know deep down that it would have happened sooner or later whether or not you want to admit the infatuation growing over the past few years. you always acted as if you hated him when you truly hated his charm that shines through when he passionately plays his trash songs and his dopey smile every time you so much as looked his way.
youâll think about all that later when you arenât chasing your own orgasm and suffering from a banging headache. who knows, perhaps youâll be able to coax a confession out of him and chalk it up to your friends as a pity date, theyâll believe it and probably encourage you to trick him into falling in love with you before breaking his heart. after all, you two are from completely different worlds, but youâll make it work somehow.

Aoao, your post about Roderick Heffley is so deeply imprinted in my heart. Can I make a request for Rodrik/reader(girl)?
The reader is the younger sister of one of Rodrick's friends from the rock band. (just a year younger than our emo boyđ)How about, Roderick himself doesn't realize that he has fallen in love with a friend's YOUNGER sister, the reader's brother with "What the hell dude!? She's my sister!" and Rodrik's graduation ball, to which he confusedly invites the reader...
Sorry for the English, I hope everything was clear đ
pls i love this idea so much im climbing the walls
âââ
Löded Diper, your brotherâs band, was practicing tonight. Normally, you took no interest in it and it had little to no importance to you, but tonight was a different set of circumstances. Your parents were off to dinner and they demanded that you and your brother hang out, no matter where it was that you went. Not to your surprise, your brother was quick to call up the rest of his band and suggest they rehearse. Which meant you were forced to go along.
His car rolled to a stop on the Heffleyâs driveway, the garage open with the other band mates standing around the drum set with the name Löded Diper painted on it. You groaned as you exited the car, realizing you were to spend the rest of your night listening to them play.
Your brother greeted the rest of the band, already exchanging jokes and banter. You had been relieved that they hadnât noticed you and you snuck past them, hoping to find some spot in the corner where you wouldnât receive any attention.
As you searched for a neat spot to sit (without spiders), the laughter seemed to stop and the room was quiet except for the shuffle of your feet against the floor. You froze before turning around to face the band.
âWhoâs that?â the one sitting at the drums asked, pointing at you with his drumstick. You narrowed your eyes slightly, glaring at the boy for his lack of manners.
âIs that your girlfriend?â another asked and a chorus of âoohâs and laughter filled the air. Your brother was quick to dismiss it, hushing the band.
âGross, man, sheâs my sister!â he shouted over them. Your arms crossed over your chest as they all simmered down. âShe has to stay here. She wonât talk or do anything,â then he turned to you, âright?â
âYes sir,â you mocked sarcastically, flopping yourself down into an old lawn chair you found.
It wasnât long before the floor was practically vibrating with the volume of their music and the sounds filled your ears. You sat and picked at your nails, imagining what the family inside the home mustâve thought of the blaring music coming from the garage. Surely if it were you, you wouldâve been exhausted of hearing your son play all the time.
They played for hours but it hadnât felt as long as you thought it wouldâve felt. You had spaced out most of the time, daydreaming of anything your mind dreamt up which occupied your time. Occasionally, you found yourself unconsciously tapping the armrest to the rhythm of whatever tune they were playing but you would stop anytime you caught yourself doing it.
It was pushing 10 oâclock when two of them started to pack up. Unfortunately, your brother was not one of them. Even after the departure of two band mates, your brother and the drummer played on for a few painfully long songs.
You were on the edge of the seat, elbows resting on your thighs as you anxiously fidgeted with the rings on your fingers. The final song wrapped up and you clapped absentmindedly and your brother gave you a puzzled look, assuming you had been paying no attention.
Your brother started to pack up his guitar and you rose out of your seat, eager to leave. You were already exiting the garage when your brother stopped you.
âSlow down. Iâm going to the bathroom first, then weâll leave,â your brother explained before rushing off to the bathroom. You lightly sighed and turned back to the garage. The drummer was pacing around, avoiding looking even in the vicinity of you, as he spun the drumstick around in his hand.
Your brother seemed to be M.I.A., leaving you and his drummer alone in the garage for an extended period of time. Trying to soothe the awkwardness and silence in the room, you attempted to spark up a conversation.
âI never got your name,â you spoke quietly, turning to face him. His pacing came to a halt and he glanced at you.
âWhy do you wanna know my name?â he asked curiously, sounding mildly irritated. You rolled your eyes and sighed lightly.
âI was just trying to make small talk, alright?â you explained, frustrated. It was a simple question, you didnât understand why he was trying to make a big deal out of it.
After a moment of silence, he finally answered. âItâs Rodrick,â he mumbled. He stole another glance at you. âYou?â
âY/n,â you replied, letting a small smile stretch across your lips. A grin began to form on Rodrickâs face, lighting up from your smile. He faced away from you, trying to cover it up.
The room went still again and you caught Rodrick stealing glances at you as his pacing resumed. You walked to the driveway and sat down, looking up at the stars, waiting to leave. You could hear Rodrick stop, and you turned back to catch him staring at you, brows furrowed. You shifted your gaze back to the stars, admiring the way they lit up the darkness of the sky. Footsteps shuffled closer to you and Rodrick was sat beside you, leaving a wide space between the two of you. Both of his drumsticks tapped against his leg as he looked around anxiously.
âHow do you do that drumstick spin?â you asked curiously, turning your attention to him. âI saw you do it when you guys were playing.â He shrugged a little, seemingly acting shy or embarrassed. âCould you teach me?â you asked quietly and a faint smile started to stretch across his lips.
It was a little while before your brother had returned, mouth full of food. You and Rodrick had been talking as he tried to teach you. You both turned around, pausing your movement with the drumsticks, as your brother stumbled out the door.
âMan, youâve got some great food in there,â he started, muffled and laughing. His face dropped when he noticed you were beside Rodrick, closer than you had started. He pointed between the two of you and started to swallow the rest of the food in his mouth so his next string of words would be clear. âWhatâre you doing?â
âNothing,â you replied, standing up. Rodrick quickly scrambled to his feet after you, nearly falling over again. âI just asked Rodrick to teach me something.â You were being vague and you could tell it was setting your brother off.
âY/n, get in the car. I need to talk to Rodrick,â your brother demanded. You frowned a little.
Handing Rodrickâs drumstick back to him, you walked to the car and tossed yourself in the passenger seat, slamming the door shut. You pouted slightly, crossing your arms over your chest. Despite your initial thought of Rodrick, you had a better time talking to him than most guys your age. Granted, Rodrick was only a year older, but it was different. Maybe it was the added aspect of him being your brotherâs bandmate that made it more exciting. But you were unbothered by that fact, you had just wished you had gotten to talk to him more.
Rodrick and your brother talked for a while and when your brother got in the car, he seemed pissed. He stayed silent through the car ride and the tension was practically suffocating you. Itâs not like you and Rodrick had done anything.
Your parents were already home by the time you pulled into the driveway. They were sat on the couch, watching some movie together. It was nearly 10:30 but your parents had long since given up on a curfew for the two of you.
You greeted your parents and wished them goodnight before running off to your room. You hoped your brother wouldnât hold a grudge against you and the whole Rodrick thing would just blow over in the morning. Unfortunately, that wasnât Rodrickâs intention.
The bell rang, signaling the school dayâs end. Kids poured out of classrooms, their laughter and shouts filling the hall. You rushed to your locker and fumbled for the lock.
You and your brother had worked things out. He had told you just to stay away from Rodrick and he said he had told Rodrick the same thing. Seems like Rodrick missed that part.
A hand slammed your locker shut, startling you. A tall figure with dark messy hair and some sort of graphic t-shirt tucked only in the front behind a pair of jeans stood there. Rodrick smirked, leaning up against the locker next to yours. You were stunned, a half full backpack in your hands with your jaw hanging slack.
âWhat are you doing here?â you asked, pushing him away as you started to unlock your locker once more.
âI go to school here,â he retorted. You rolled your eyes and quickly shoved the rest of your things in your bag.
âNo shit?â you questioned sarcastically, closing your locker. His brow furrowed. âI meant what are you doing talking to me?â He smiled, looking away from you.
âWell, I decided I donât care what your brother tells me to do,â he replied simply, a smirk still plastered on his lips. God, you wished you could smack it off.
âSo, what, you wanna talk to me now?â you pestered, zipping up your backpack and slinging it on one shoulder.
âWho said I didnât want to talk to you before?â he blurted out. He froze, shutting his eyes in embarrassment. You could feel a slight blush creep on your face but you dismissed it, shaking your head. You started to walk away but Rodrick followed, still trying to keep your attention.
âDo you need something from my brother or are you really just here to bother me?â you asked as you pushed open the front doors, exiting the school. Rodrick grabbed your arm and pulled you to the side, away from the crowd of students eager to get home.
âThis isnât about your brother. You could come over and I could finish teaching you-â he rambled but you stopped him.
âYou must be crazy, Rodrick. If my brother sees me standing here with you right now, Iâm as good as dead, and so are you,â you urged, trying to walk away from him but he pulled you back.
âThen come over tonight. Just you. He wonât see then,â Rod suggested. Your jaw seemed to drop a little and you nearly gave in. You shook your head.
âNo, no, no, heâll ask where I was or where iâm going and he wonât stop until he figures it out,â you tried to explain, attempting to flee one last time but he pulled you back.
âThen just lie. If he asks me, Iâll do the same.â You paused, and swallowed a lump in your throat.
âWhy are you so determined to talk to me?â you questioned, looking at him puzzled. He looked down, biting the inside of his cheek. He shrugged and his eyes looked everywhere but you.
You hated to admit it but you were disappointed. You were hoping to get an answer out of Rodrick but as the moments passed and there was nothing but shared silence between you two, you left. And that night, you almost considered going over to his house but you thought better of it and stayed home.
The same thing happened the next day. And the day after that. And for a little while after that. He incessantly pestered you day after day. Some days, he only spoke to you briefly, asking if you knew whether or not your brother was coming over for a band rehearsal. Other days, it seemed like he didnât know your brother existed and he only asked about you. It was getting easier to tell him no, even if you wanted to say yes. He was expecting rejection.
By the second week of asking, he was losing interest and would take no as answer right away instead of asking repeatedly after that. And on Friday, he didnât ask at all. You saw him walking to his van, headphones in with his head down. You frowned, watching him tentatively, hoping he was fetching something from the car and he would turn back and ask you.
As the weekend came along, you tapped your desk with your pen. There was a pile of crumbled up papers beside you and your notebook was nearly halfway ripped out. You frustratedly drew a bunch of scribbles on the page when no words would come out. You torn the piece of paper out and crumbled it, tossing it with the rest of the papers. You gave up, tossing your pen on your desk and turning to your bed. You flopped down and stared at your ceiling blankly. You hadnât managed to stop thinking about Rodrick since you had seen him walking away. You shut your eyes, trying to clear your head.
Rodrick was doing the same in his room. He blasted music in his ears, trying to occupy his time. Calling him head over heels was an understatement, but it was a statement he couldnât wrap his head around. You were annoyed because you couldnât stop thinking about him for a day. Heâd been hung up on you for weeks. At first, he thought nothing of it. He thought you were cool, cooler than your brother, and he just wanted to talk to you again. But the more he saw you and the more he talked you (even though every time you spoke, you were turning him down), he was becoming crazy over you. Heâd do anything to impress you, making a fool of himself in the process. He wished you would notice him. Every band rehearsal he had, he prayed that your brother would bring you along again. He was always disappointed. But he would never say he had feelings cause he didnât believe he had any for you.
It was Saturday night and your guilt was eating you alive. You paced your room for a while, trying to clear your thoughts but nothing worked. You ended up surrendering into temptation. You booked it downstairs and swiped the car keys off the counter. Unfortunately, your brother was downstairs.
âWhere are you going?â he asked, stopping you at the door.
âMy friendâs house, why?â you replied innocently, hiding your intentions.
âThen why are you in a hurry?â he questioned. You racked your brain for a response and blurted out the first thing that came to mind.
âGirl problems,â you answered, knowing he wouldnât ask anymore questions after that. He made a face of disgust and walked back to the couch. You let out a light sigh of relief before scurrying out the door.
It wasnât long before you pulled to a stop in the Heffleyâs driveway. You nervously walked up the front steps and hesitated before ringing the doorbell. You thought you had the wrong house when a boy, who looked to be only 12, answered the door.
âIs Rodrick here?â you asked cautiously, anxiously fidgeting with the rings on your fingers. The boyâs jaw dropped and he glanced back inside the house.
âYouâre here for Rodrick?â he marveled. âRodrick?â he asked again in shock. You smiled a little, some of the nervousness easing. He remained stunned as he invited you in.
âWho was it?â a womanâs voice called from the kitchen. You started to realize how much of mistake this was. The boy looked at you again.
âWhatâs your name?â he asked quietly.
âY/n,â you mumbled.
âItâs one of Rodrickâs friends, Y/n,â the boy answered. You could hear footsteps coming closer now and you panicked, wishing you could turn back and flee.
âBut y/n sounds like a girlâs name,â the woman spoke quietly and she seemed pleasantly surprised when her eyes found you. You didnât look like most of Rodrickâs friends. Sure, this wasnât the best you looked but you were more put together than the rest of his friends.
âOh! Hi!â she exclaimed. Oh god, you thought to yourself, Iâm meeting his parents. âIâm Susan, Rodrickâs mom. Itâs so good to meet you,â she went on, extending her hand out to you. You felt bad considering your hands were a bit clammy from all the anxiety you felt, but you shook her hand anyway out of politeness. âGreg, will you go get Rodrick?â she asked the boy and he nodded and reluctantly ran up the stairs.
âI-I didnât mean to interrupt or show up at a bad time or anything,â you stuttered but she smiled and shook her head.
âNonsense! Would you like to stay for dinner?â she offered. Your eyes widened a little.
âI couldnât possibly ask that of you,â you quickly replied. Footsteps came running down the stairs and your attention diverted. The boy, alongside Rodrick, came running down the stairs. Your heart seemed to be pounding out of your chest, thumping obnoxiously in your ears. Your eyes frantically looked between the three of them. You could only assume your face was turning red.
âWhy have you never told me about her, Rodrick?â Susan asked, a smile still on her face. âShe seems lovely.â You forced a polite smile but it faltered when you caught Rodrickâs eye.
âGuess I forgot,â he lied.
âUh, Rodrick?â you asked, your voice breaking. You cleared your throat. âCan i talk to you?â A small smirk started to form on his lips.
âYeah, come on, we can talk in my room,â he suggested. You swallowed a lump in your throat and followed him carefully up the stairs. Your eyes were glassy and you could feel your lip start to bleed as you continuously chewed on it.
His room was in the attic which only distanced you further away from your escape route. He flopped down onto his bed, resting his back against the headboard and crossing his legs over one another. He put his hands behind his head, the smirk still on his lips.
âSo, you changed your mind, huh?â Rodrick chuckled. You could feel the pink rush to your cheeks, wishing he hadnât looked as good as he did. But, god, you wished you could slap him and take the smirk away from his face.
âIf my brother finds out,â you pause, stepping closer to him. âIf you tell him, Rodrick, I will-â
âYouâll what, sweetheart?â Rodrick teased, leaning forward so he was closer to you. He chuckled when your jaw went slack, flustered and speechless.
You managed to regain your confidence and you pushed him away from you so he was leaning against the headboard again.
âIâm leaving. This was a mistake,â you explained, ready to dash for the exit. Rodrick was already on his feet and blocking the staircase within the blink of an eye.
âHow is this a mistake?â he asked, keeping you from leaving. You sighed and tried to push him aside but he fought back.
âRodrick,â you warned but he didnât budge.
âIf this is a mistake, whyâd you come here in the first place?â Rodrick asked, searching your eyes for an answer. You paused, looking away. Your shoulders shrugged and you could hear him faintly sigh.
âHow come you keep trying to talk to me at school? I met you once at a band rehearsal, it was nothing!â Your voice was starting to raise, unaware of your emotions.
âI know that was nothing! I just donât know what it is! I donât know why, okay?â Rodrick shouted back. He was sure his parents would be able to hear if they walked by, but that was one of the last things on his mind.
âWhat, do you like me or something?â Your voice came out harsh and impolite and you wished you had shut up a long time ago. You shut your eyes, and looked down. âI-Iâm sorry,â you began to ramble but Rodrick wasnât listening, too enveloped by his own thoughts.
He couldnât like you. He could never. He liked Heather Hills. Heâs spent forever chasing after her and doing everything to impress her. Thatâs who he liked. You were just his friendâs annoying little sister. Just because you talked to him first or that you had an interest in his band didnât mean he liked you. It didnât mean you liked him either. Just because he spent weeks chasing after you doesnât mean it was romantically inclined, right.
âY/n,â Rodrick spoke over your stutters of an apology. You went quiet, eyes glassy. He hesitated, swallowing a lump in his throat. âYou wanna go to the dance with me?â Your eyes went wide and your brow furrowed.
âWhat? What does that have to do with anything?â you questioned, confused and dazed.
âI was going to ask you. I donât know why,â he added. âThereâs a dance in about a month. I was going to ask you after we had hung out but I think youâd like to leave now and I just had to ask-â
âAre you crazy?â you asked, bewildered. He fell silent. He knew it had been the wrong time to ask but he couldnât hold the words from rolling off tongue his any longer.
âIs that a yes or no?â he asked. You shook your head and pushed him aside.
âNo, Rodrick. And donât ask for a reason. Thereâs too many of them.â
The dismissing bell rang, marking the end of the day. You hurried to your locker and quickly piled everything inside. Part of you hoped that Rodrick would come running up and slam your locker shut, scaring you the way it always did. You stood foolishly, glancing around for any sight of him. When there was nothing, you closed it and made your way towards the exit.
You trudged to your brotherâs car, who you shared a ride with, and heard him arguing with someone else. You tried to hide behind the side of the car and peek your head up to watch and listen to what he was saying. Thatâs when you noticed the white van parked beside you with Löded Diper painted on it. It was Rodrick.
âYou asked her to the dance?! What the hell, dude?! Sheâs my sister!â your brother shouted. You felt your face flush and your heart stopped.
âLook, man, Iâm sorry! She didnât say yes so what does it matter anyway?â Rodrick fought back. You glanced around nervously before you decided to make your presence known before the argument got any worse.
âWhat are you guys talking about?â you asked, acting oblivious. They glanced at each other then looked back at you.
âNothing, get in the car,â your brother said, sliding into the driverâs seat. Rodrick looked annoyed and hurt and he avoided looking at you, hiding the way the tears started to pool in his eyes. He shook his head and got in the front seat of his van. You swung open the car door and flopped yourself down into the seat, wishing you couldâve said something to Rodrick.
Later that night, your brother was passed out asleep on the couch, some television show blasting on the tv. You swiftly snuck your way into his room, searching around for the piece of paper where your brother kept phone numbers. Your brother was terrible when it came to remembering numbers, which became an advantage for you.
You found the slip of paper in his desk drawer and you quickly scanned the list until you found Rodrickâs number. You pulled out your phone and hurriedly dialed it before scurrying out the room in case your brother had woken up.
The phone rung for a while as you paced your room until a tired voice on the other end of the line picked up.
âHello?â the voice asked, raspy and ridden with sleep. You let out a light sigh of relief, glad he had picked up.
âHey, Rodrick, can we talk?â you asked, your bottom lip slipping between your teeth.
âWho is this?â he groaned, followed by the rustle of what sounded like bedsheets.
âIâm afraid if I told you, youâd hang up,â you mumbled. Finally waking up, your words seem to catch his attention and he managed to put 2 and 2 together.
âY/n?â he guessed, knowing the sound of your voice all too well now. Your eyes shifted down and you hesitated before answering with a quiet âyesâ.
âLook, Rod, Iâm sorry about Saturday. I was a total ass and I was just confused and tired, and I know those are just a bunch of excuses but-â He interrupted.
âItâs fine. You were right.â He sounded run down and miserable.
Silence filled the room and you only felt more guilty as the seconds passed. You racked your brain for something to say, feeling the tears start to pool in your eyes.
âAre you still going to that dance?â you asked, your voice breaking from the tears coming on. Rodrick was quiet for a moment and you thought maybe he hung up or fell asleep again.
âYeah, why?â he questioned, sitting up in his bed curiously. You shut your eyes in embarrassment before you spoke again.
âIf you donât already have another date, I wanna go. With you.â His end of the line went dead silent. You pulled the phone away from your ear and checked to make sure he hadnât hung up this time. You shut your eyes tightly, wishing you hadnât said anything at all. You shouldâve never called him, you shouldâve never gone over to his house, you shouldnât have talked to him at the rehearsal-
The line clicked and he was gone, leaving without a response. Your heart sank and a hot tear rolled down your cheek. You quickly wiped it away and threw your phone across the room, not caring if it broke. You could feel more tears coming on and you buried your face in your hands.
You were left sobbing for a while before you heard the doorbell ring, followed by a long string of impatient knocks. You quickly wiped your tears away and checked your reflection on your way out of your room to make sure you didnât look like a shit-show.
The loud rapping on the door didnât stop until you reached the door. You swung the door open, prepared to shout at whoever had been knocking at the door annoyingly for so long. You froze when you saw the figure outside the door, your mouth going slightly agape. Before you could even fully process it, lips were pressed against yours and you felt your heart skip a beat. Your head went fuzzy, unable to think straight. You could only feel his lips and the rush of blood going to your face and how you could feel every goosebump rising on your skin. It felt nearly euphoric, making every bad thought slip away as if theyâd never happened.
His lips separated from yours and your eyes fluttered open. Your eyes were met with glassy brown doe eyes with a few strands of shaggy deep brown hair falling in front of them. His tall figure stood over you, leaning down close to you. His eyes flicked down to your lips then back to your eyes. He started to move in for another kiss but you pulled back, putting a hand on his chest to push him away. You shook your head.
âNot here. My brother could see,â you whispered. Thankfully your brother hadnât woken up from his deep sleep on the couch even after the persistent knocking and the doorbell. But you werenât gonna risk it.
âI donât care,â Rodrick mumbled and he brought his lips to yours again. You kept him close to you but pushed him away from the door and closed it behind you. Your back pressed against the door and you pulled him closer to you by his collar.
When your lips broke apart again, a smile spread across your face as you pressed your forehead to his. âSo, about the dance,â you began slowly. His lips brushed against yours again and his hand cupped your face.
âThat later,â he mumbled. âHow about you come over tonight?â
âââ

Foods they like but their body can't tolerate?: Evan is another one where if he can't tolerate it, he probably won't eat it. i've always played around with the idea to have him intolerant of alcohol and some of the ingredients in it but i'm not trying to put him in the hospital so--
Food their body tolerates less as they age?: i know that says food but like..... alcohol. listen--evan drinks too much. and while he likes to think that his body can handle it for as long as he wants it to, that isn't the case. he's built up a tolerance to it but it's slowly getting worse over time--a fact which he ignores religiously.
Were they pencil drummers as a kid? Leg shaker? Foot tapper?: he was a pencil drummer for sure. a little bit of a foot tapper too. he still is like that to some extent but he can usually catch himself doing it.
Were they a bully as a kid (intentional or unintentional): yup--intentionally and unintentionally. evan wasn't the kindest kid to begin with due to how his home life was. coupled with the fact that when he did do something wrong at home, he avoided punishment by just.... not being there and hiding out at a friend's. that "lack of accountability" bled into most of his interactions, unfortunately, and evan's probably been the cause of quite a few tears.
Do they have a toy from childhood that they kept?: nope. any toys he did have as a kid are long gone and were probably not worth saving.
Do they save birthday cards/thank you cards/Valentine Cards?: no. unless you're someone extremely important to him, he will not care. he'll probably lose them, not gonna lie.
Did they try smoking as a kid? What age?: yes and 15 for him. the little delinquents (i.e: he and his friends ) had stole it from a nearby corner shop, along with other things
Did they try drinking? What Age?: 16-17-ish. same story as above but he was caught by his uncle and, needless to say, Roderick was having none of it. getting in trouble didn't really stop him from trying it again, though

Hereâs a Super Smash Bros. Lawl moveset for Live-Action Roderick Heffley from Diary of a Wimpy Kid:
Reveal Trailer:
The trailer opens in a Smash Bros. high school hallway with characters like Mario and Link walking to class. Suddenly, loud drumbeats echo through the hall, causing chaos. A disheveled Roderick Heffley skates by on his skateboard, knocking things over and causing a ruckus. The screen flashes: "Roderick Rocks the Stage!" with Roderick smirking and holding his drumsticks.
---
Playstyle:
Roderick plays as a trickster fighter, focusing on unpredictable movements, setting up traps with his drum kit, and skating around the stage. He uses his rebellious attitude and instruments as weapons, keeping his opponents off balance with chaotic energy.
Moveset:
Neutral B (Drumstick Beatdown):
Description: Roderick whips out his drumsticks and rapidly smacks his opponent, dealing quick, close-range damage. The move has fast speed but shorter range. If held, he slams his sticks together to create a soundwave that pushes enemies away.
Inspiration: Roderick is the drummer of Löded Diper, and he uses his instruments to fight.
Side B (Skateboard Ram):
Description: Roderick hops on his skateboard and charges forward. If he hits an opponent, theyâre knocked back. He can also jump off midway to perform a trick that deals damage.
Inspiration: His rebellious, carefree personality fits well with a skateboard attack.
Down B (Löded Diper Drum Kit):
Description: Roderick slams down his drum kit, which stays on the stage as a trap. If an opponent touches the kit, it explodes in a burst of sound, damaging and launching them. Roderick can only have one kit on the stage at a time.
Inspiration: This references his role as the drummer in his band and his love for causing mayhem.
Up B (Reckless Dive):
Description: Roderick jumps into the air and does a divebomb headfirst, crashing into the stage below. If he hits an opponent, they take heavy damage, but if he misses, Roderick is left vulnerable.
Inspiration: Roderick's chaotic nature is showcased by his willingness to throw himself into danger.
Final Smash (Löded Diper Concert):
Description: Roderick calls his band Löded Diper to the stage. A huge concert begins, with blinding lights, loud music, and stage pyrotechnics. The music blasts across the stage, launching opponents with powerful soundwaves as Roderick takes center stage.
Inspiration: Roderickâs dream of becoming a rockstar is realized in this loud and destructive Final Smash.
---
Taunts:
Up Taunt: Roderick flips his drumsticks around his fingers, saying, âYouâre not cool unless youâre in Löded Diper.â
Side Taunt: Roderick gives a sarcastic thumbs-up and says, âNice try, dork.â
Down Taunt: Roderick pulls out a copy of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, looks at it, and tosses it over his shoulder dismissively.
---
Victory Poses:
1. Victory Pose 1: Roderick stands behind his drum kit and smashes it with his drumsticks, laughing wildly as confetti rains down.
2. Victory Pose 2: Roderick skates across the screen, doing a trick before landing and giving a mock salute.
3. Victory Pose 3: Roderick leans back on a couch, sunglasses on, saying, âBeing awesome isnât easy, but someoneâs gotta do it.â
Defeat Pose:
Defeat Pose: Roderick sulks with his drumsticks broken in half, muttering, âWhatever.â

Drummer James Roddick of the 92nd (Gordon Highlanders) Regiment of Foot , defending Lieutenant Menzies during hand-to-hand fighting in Kandahar, 1880Â
William Skeoch Cumming (1864-1929)Â
Date 1894 Medium pencil and watercolour, heightened with touches of body colour
Dimensions Height: 71.1 cm (27.9 âł); Width: 107.9 cm (42.4 âł)Â
Afghanistan has been the breaker of empire since the time of Alexander the Great. It has been part of the âgreat Gameâ between the Russian power and the Various western powers and in the 1970âČs and 80âł was instrumental the economic collapse of the Soviet Union, the American creation of the Taliban to fight the Soviets and is now the anvil upon which the West as we know it is finally collapsing to a resurgent Islam and China.Â
The Above is a favorite painting. It shows the courage of brothers in battle and the honor and loyalty many soldiers know and few civilians will ever know.
The Battle of Kandahar, 1 September 1880, was the last major conflict of the Second Anglo-Afghan War. The battle in southern Afghanistan was fought between the British forces under command of General Roberts and the Afghan forces led by Ayub Khan. It ended with a decisive British victory, having inflicted nearly 3,000 casualties in total.Â
In May 1879, after the death of the Amir Sher Ali Khan, Sir Louis Cavagnari negotiated and signed the Treaty of Gandamak with his successor, Mohammad Yaqub Khan. The treaty obliged the Afghans to admit a British resident governor at Kabul; a position Cavagnari himself took up in July. However, on the 3 September, Cavagnari and the other European members of the mission were massacred in a sudden rising of Afghan rebel troops.
After Yakub Khan had been dethroned and exiled for suspected collusion in the murder of Cavagnari, feelers were put out for two replacement candidates: his younger brother, Ayub Khan the Governor of Herat, and his nephew, Abdur Rahman Khan. However, in May 1880, a new British Liberal government recalled the Viceroy of India, Lord Lytton and replaced him with Lord Ripon who had instructions to bring all troops out of Afghanistan. These plans for the evacuation were disrupted by Ayub Khan, who after stirring up anti-British feeling, had sallied out of Herat in early June with 10,000 followers. 1,500 British and Indian troops, together with Afghan levies, were sent to intercept this force.
The British, commanded by Brigadier George Burrows, met Ayub Khan at Maiwand, on 27 July 1880. However, many of the Indian troops in British service were new, inadequately trained recruits, and crumpled under pressure; the Afghan levies had already switched sides, unwilling to fight against their countrymen. Despite a heroic last stand by the 66th Regiment, and inflicting 2,500 casualties on his enemy, General Burrows was defeated by a determined adversary.
After the disastrous defeat at Maiwand, the remnants of General Burrowsâ battle-wearied army began the 45 mile retreat to the city of Kandahar. Armed local irregulars, exhaustion and thirst contributed to the breakdown of the column's discipline, and were it not for Captain Slade's rear-guard action, far fewer would have made it to the refuge of the city:
All over the wide expanse of desert are to be seen men in twos and threes retreating. Camels have thrown their loads; sick men, almost naked, are astride donkeys, mules and camels; the bearers have thrown down their dhoolies (palanquins) and left the wounded to their fate. The guns and carriages are crowded with the helpless wounded suffering the tortures of the damned; horses are limping along with ugly wounds and men are pressing eagerly to the rear in the hope of finding water. Hordes of irregular horsemen are to be seen amongst our baggage animals, relentlessly cutting our men down and looting. A few alone remain with Brigadier Burrows to try to turn the rout into an orderly retreat. â Captain Slade.
Of the approximately 2,500 British and Indian troops at Maiwand, a little over 960 succumbed in either the battle or the ensuing retreat. Only 161 of the wounded reached the citadel of Kandahar.
The remnants of the straggling column reached Kandahar on the 28th raising the garrison numbers to 4360 â the Afghan population of 12,000 were compelled to leave. With the abandonment of the cantonments, the whole garrison withdrew behind the walls of the fortified city and organised preparations for its defence. These defences included improving and facilitating communications along the city's walls, plugging breaches, constructing gun platforms and the laying of wire obstacles outside the walls to entangle their foe. The Afghans determined to harass and hinder the defendersâ preparations throughout.
On 8 August, Ayub Khan, the victor at Maiwand, opened fire on the citadel from Picquet hill north west of the city; a few days later other guns volleyed forth from the villages of Deh Khoja and Deh Khati on the east and south. An attempt to neutralise the village of Deh Khoja, led by Brigadier General Brooke on the 16th, proved unsuccessful. During the extrication, both Brigadier General Brooke and Captain Cruickshank fell, adding to the casualty total of over 100.
The Maiwand disaster had altered military plans for the evacuation of the Kabul garrison from Afghanistan.
...the present question is the relief of Kandahar and the defeat of Ayub. I have a fine force ready for the work, and Bobs would go in command of it.[4] â General Donald Stewart, Kabul.
The 'Bobs' in question, General Roberts, would personally lead a division from Kabul to rectify the recent calamity and relieve the besieged city of Kandahar. It was also arranged that General Phayre would march from Quetta in northern India with the same intention, and that General Stewart would proceed to evacuate the rest of the garrison back to India as originally planned. The Viceroy of Afghanistan was informed that Roberts would march on the 8 August with the expectation of reaching Kandahar by 2 September.
Of the 10,000 men under Robert's command, a little over 2800 were Europeans. Because of the unforgiving terrain of the Afghan country, and the necessity of speed, all troops were ordered to travel light (20-30Â lbs of kit per trooper) and controversially, no wheeled transport taken, with 6- and 9-pounder mountain guns being the only artillery taken. 8,500 mules, donkeys, and ponies would be utilised to carry the main supplies.
The march from Kabul to Kandahar is approximately 320 miles[5] (although the chosen route through the Logar Valley was not the shortest, the valley's fertile land would supplement their supplies). The army paid for everything they took throughout the march including grain, fresh animals and even firewood â the local Afghans more than pleased to barter with the troops.
The stop at Ghazni proved to be brief; the column set off again very early in the cool of the morning of the 16th. By the end of the day's march in the early afternoon, the temperatures had exceeded 100 °F with very little shade; sore feet and the constant scarcity of water adding to the extreme discomfort.
"The method, of such marching as was now put in practice is not easy to describe; it combined the extreme of freedom in movement with carefully regulated halts, and the closest control in every portion of the column; it employed the individual intelligence of each man composing the masses in motion, and called on all for exertion in overcoming the difficulties of the march, in bearing its extraordinary toil, and in aiding the accomplishment of the object in view." â General Chapman.
By the 24th, the relief column had reached Khelat-i-Ghilzai. General Roberts received a letter from General Primrose at Kandahar describing the sortie in the village of Deh Khoja earlier on the 16th and informing Roberts of the situation. On the 25th, the relief column, joined now by the garrison of Kelat-i-Ghilzai, resumed their march towards Kandahar. General Phayre's relief column however had suffered many problems from his arduous trek and was still some distance from Kandahar.
The following day Roberts' relief force reached Tir Andaz. It was here that Roberts learned that Ayub Khan had lifted the siege of Kandahar and had retired north to the village of Mazra in the Urgundab valley. On the 27th, General Hugh Gough proceeded to Robat with two cavalry regiments, whilst the remainder of the force, moving somewhat slower, joined them in Robat on the 28th. It was now only 19 miles to Kandahar.
The long march from Kabul to Kandahar of the entire column of men, followers and baggage took 20 days â an average of just over 15 miles/day. The followers alone included nearly 2,200 dhooly-bearers, 4,700 transport men and over 1,200 servants. Although the march was unhindered by the Afghans, it was a historic and remarkable feat of human endurance and organisation.
On the morning of the 31 August 1880, the relief force reached Kandahar. However, for the last part of the trek General Roberts, struck down with fever, had to be carried in a dhooly (though for dignity's sake, the general had forced himself upon a horse when within sight of the city).
A rugged and precipitous spur separates the Arghandab valley from the Kandahar plain. Both valley and plain are linked via the Murcha Pass at the end of the spur, and the Babawali Pass cutting through it. The section of the spur from Babawali Pass to its tip, is known as the Pir Paimal Hill.
Behind this spur lies the village of Mazra, around which Ayub Khan had camped. As well as the spur, the Afghans had other geographic advantages. Directly behind Pir Paimal Hill lies the Kharoti Hill (both of which providing excellent firing positions) and, between the hills, deep irrigation channels offered excellent defensive cover.
A reconnaissance of the area on the afternoon of the 31st, carried out by General Gough and Colonel Chapman, garnered valuable information of these Afghan positions. However, their retirement from the reconnaissance came under concerted attack from Afghan regulars and irregulars. The Sikh infantry were so hard pressed that elements of the 1st and 3rd brigades were ordered into the action.
Armed with this hard-won military intelligence, Roberts decided to attack the following day â the morning of 1 September 1880. While the Babawali Pass would be bombarded by artillery, 1st and 2nd Infantry Brigades (3rd in Reserve) would attack the enemy between the Pir Paimal and Kharoti hills and push up the Urgundab valley towards Ayub Khan's main camp at Mazra. The Murcha and Babawali passes were to be covered by cavalry elements supported by General Primrose's infantry and artillery. Gough's cavalry would move across the Urgundab, so as to reach by a wide circuit the anticipated line of the Afghan retreat.
A little after 9am, the artillery to the right of Picquet Hill began its bombardment of the Babawali pass â the Afghans replied with a three field-gun battery. However, before Roberts could push his army forward, Afghan positions in the villages of Gundi Mulla Sahibdad on the British right and Gundigan on the British left, had to be cleared.
The battle at Gundi Mulla Sahibdad was hard-fought. General Macpherson advancing his 92nd Highlanders and 2nd Gurkhas met determined resistance to the attack that included a bayonet charge by the Highlanders. Both sides suffered casualties, but the Afghans came off far worse â possibly losing up to 200 men. After the village had been pacified, the brigade pushed towards the southwesterly point of Pir Paimal, constantly harassed by determined Afghan resistance.
Whilst General Macpherson advanced against Gundi Mulla Sahibdad, General Baker moved against Gundigan â the 72nd Highlanders and the 2nd Sikh Infantry in the van. Again the fighting was hard-fought â the Afghans holding well-defended positions that only a concerted effort by the attackers could dislodge. However, the left wing of the 72nd (supported by 5th Gurkhas) finally took the village, whilst the right wing supported the Sikhs, battling through the orchards between the two villages. As General Baker's brigade moved forward into the open it came under artillery fire from the extremity of the Pir Paimal hill and massed attacks from Ghazis; the latter resolutely repelled by the Highlanders and Sikhs.
The two brigades could now together move forward. Macpherson's brigade moved close around the spur to take the village of Pir Paimal. Having passed the village, the 92nd Highlanders under command of Major White met with determined resistance south west of the Babawali Pass. Despite reinforcements from Ayub Khan's main camp at Mazra, Macpherson stormed the position - Major White's Highlanders in the van supported by the 5th Gurkhas and 23rd Pioneers. Again a determined resistance and steady fire from the Afghans (many of whom firing from the slopes of the Pir Paimal hill) caused many Highlander casualties, but despite heavy losses, the British dispersed some 8000 Afghans at bayonet point.
While Macpherson's brigade advanced close under the ridge, Baker's troops swept wider on the left; Colonel Money having been assigned to take possession of the Kharoti hill. From the northern end of the hill, Colonel Money could see Ayub Khan abandon his camp at Mazra in the face of the advancing forces of Macpherson and Baker.
Roberts had by now ordered MacGregor's 3rd brigade to Pir Paimal village to where he himself and General Ross (commander of the whole infantry division) were to move. Here, General Ross, unable to discern the situation, ordered the forward brigades to halt and replenish their spent ammunition. However, this delay provided Ayub Khan some respite. When the British finally entered the camp at 1pm, it was deserted, save for the smartly abandoned detritus of an army in retreat.
Ayub Khan's army was now in full rout. Although the plan for General Gough's cavalry to intercept the retreating Afghans did not work in practice, it was clear the British had achieved a decisive victory.
The Battle of Kandahar brought a close to the Second Anglo-Afghan War. Ayub Khan had been decisively beaten. He had lost the whole of his artillery, his camp, enormous quantities of ammunition, and about 1,000 men killed. Ayub Khan became a fugitive along with the small remnants of his battered army. The British appointee Abdur Rahman was thus securely established as emir of Afghanistan, under a protectorate which gave Britain control of Afghanistan's foreign policy, while the British government of India retained the frontier territories ceded by the Treaty of Gandamak. Having achieved some of the aims of their invasion of Afghanistan, the British withdrew, due to continuous rebellions. Ayub Khan subsequently raised a fresh rebellion against Abdur Rahman, but was swiftly defeated and killed, ending the threat to the new regime. (Note: according to the Wikipedia entry for Mohammad Ayub Khan, he died in 1914 in India. Also, the same page says that he was unable to attack Abdur Rahman due to not paying his soldiers, who refused to march.) This political settlement was to endure until the Third Anglo-Afghan War in 1919.
Roberts left Kandahar on 9 September 1880 and marched to Quetta with part of his division. On the 15 October 1880, at Sibi, he resigned his command, and sailed from Bombay on the 30th, taking sick leave in England. The exploits of General Roberts in Afghanistan greatly boosted his reputation as a skillful and enterprising soldier. Many years later, Roberts' heroic march was commemorated by a statue in Glasgow's Kelvingrove Park upon which the motto Virtute et valore (by Virtue and Courage) is inscribed.

My favorite Obey Me! MCs
(Not including my main MC) (Not in any order)
I'm addicted to alternative timelines and "what if"s so I have A LOT of alternative MC characterizations. Some these were inspired by really good imagines! BEWARE: There might be spoilers sprinkled throughout this post, nothing beyond Chapter 16 though.
1. Hyperpop MC
S/O: Mammon or Leviathan. Renée Razor is a fairly popular Hyperpop artist with a somewhat mystical post-apocalyptic style. She becomes a hit in Devildom because I could totally see Devildom clubs playing Hyperpop and EDM. She/Her. (Original thought)
2. Sorceress MC
S/O: Diavolo. Skye Ramses is a sorceress who frequently dabbles in black magick but specializes in chaos magick. Before their arrival to the Devildom, they had three pacts with a lower demon and two demons of high caliber. She's also rumored to have connections in the fae world, but those are just rumors of course. ;)) She/they/doe. (Original thought)
Fun fact: I have a running joke about how both humans in the exchange program happen to be shady magic users. Great representatives of the human race, amirite?
3. "Try me if you want to" MC
S/O: Solomon. Jada Bines knew Solomon from before her arrival at the Devildom, they were roommates! As they got closer he gifted her a bracelet that enhanced her strength, agility, and combat skills partially for her protection but also because Solomon is known to use magic like this for shits and giggles. When Jada arrives at RAD, she is not shy to those who try to target her because she is human, Hell, she folded a dude on her first day because he made an off comment about eating her (in a literal sense, not a horni one but honestly she would've done the same if it was). She/Her. (Based on TWO imagines, actually.)
4. Burnt-out Jock MC
S/O: Beelzebub or Mammon. Just take the Chad stereotype, add 50% more depression, and you've got James Quinn! James is a frat boy on a full ride sports scholarship but unfortunately one day he found himself unsatisfied with his life and the things he used to love. He kind of just accepted how he was getting dragged to Hell to attend the school there, due to his craving of change. Maybe this year at RAD will be good for him. He/Him. (Original)
5. Psychic MC
I'm lowkey a simp for her
S/O: Lucifer. Annika Schlager knew about it all. The program, the attic, the tension her mere existence was causing. So she was surprisingly calm when she was summoned for her year at RAD. Only Barbatos knew about her ability before she was summoned because he has similar powers. She/Her. (Original thought)
Seer/Future vision characters are always so fun to work with and her design is *chef's kiss*.
6. Anti-MC
S/O: I'm torn between none or an OC. Elizabeth Wilson is the Anti-MC because she hates EVERYONE. Except Luke, who reminds her of the little brother she used to have. She refuses to be more occasional acquaintances with anyone for the time. The only ones she can stand to be around is Luke (and Simeon after a while) for the longest time, she may warm up to the others eventually but they shouldn't hold their breath. She/Her. (Inspired by Imagine)
She's honestly horrible and so toxic, I love her for it. đ©đ I call her the "Anti-MC" because she hates everyone (except Luke and....EVENTUALLY Simeon). It's such a huge dynamic shift!
7. Rockstar MC
S/O: Asmodeus or Mephistopheles. Roderick Sun AKA: SkullScream is the lead singer and drummer in the band Satanic Panic! Despite the occult themes present in their music, Roderick actually didn't believe demons existed until they were thrusted into Hell. They/Them. (Original Thought)
8. Archangel MC
S/O: Diavolo. While the original plan for the exchange program was two representatives from all three realms, the celestial realm decided to send down an archangel to fill a more diplomatic role than the other two students. Though she has some less than savory thoughts on demons, she gets along with everyone pretty well. Maybe the future king of Hell can change her opinions on demonkind. She/Her. (Original)
9. Fairy MC
S/O: Mephistopheles and Belphegor. Chrysanthemum is a fairy trickster masquerading as a human to cause chaos in the human world, until she's brought to the Devildom that is! She makes it her personal duty to give Lucifer (and Barbatos by extension) as many grey hairs as she can in one year. Chyrs appoints herself the leader of the Anti-Lucifer League and wreaks havoc in the House of Lamentation and RAD whenever she can! She/Her. (Original Thought)
10. Gang Leader MC
S/O: Mephistopheles. Scorcher AKA Valentin Reynolds is the leader of the Diamondback Gang, a notorious crimelord at the top of the food chain. He's well known for his outrageous threats and even more for backing them up, no more who they're at. I don't recommend any human, demon, or angel cross this MC. He/Him. (Inspired by Imagine)
Fun fact: I based his appearance around Daiya Owada and a Wattpad Character (who was a "bad boy" ofc)

Free T-Shirt
Free T-Shirt Rodrick Heffley x Reader Prompt: Can you do a Roderick Heffley x Shy! Reader please?! Word Count: 438 Warnings: None?
Loded Diper sucked. It was an indisputable fact. The band sucked. The lyrics sucked. Everything about it was a disaster. And yet, somehow, you had caught yourself catching feelings for the stupid drummer.
He was handsome, sure, tall with tan skin and dark hair and those hazel eyes that you found yourself getting lost in. But he was also a lot less intelligent than your Harvard graduate parents would have liked.
Because you were in mostly AP classes, the two of you hardly ever crossed paths, except for in the hall sometimes or in the parking lot. So, to see him more often, you had started sneaking out to watch his band play. At first, it had been like once a month, but that had quickly turned into once a week. So, every Friday, you found yourself in the very back of the small crowd assembled to watch them play, bobbing along to the music, watching him, but never daring to stay after to get one of their hastily-made T-shirts signed like the rest of the groupies.
You were pretty sure Rodrick didnât know you existed. Pretty positive that he had never given you a second glance...until he did. One day, he stopped you at your locker, a question waiting behind his lips.
âDid I...see you at my concert Friday night?â
âWhat concert? Are you in a band?â You asked, nearly dropping your Algebra book.
âI swear I saw you in the way back. I did, though, right? Iâm not going crazy?â
âI, well- I donât know. I might have...stopped by on my way to my knitting club, but I-â
âI didnât take you for a rock kinda girl.â He shrugged, smirking irresistibly. âYou know, I could hook you up with a free t-shirt.â
âI...might like that.â You admitted, blushing.
âDo you think I could get your number? To make sure you get your t-shirt, of course.â
âS-sure, um, hereâs my phone, just put yours in.â You held it out to him as he handed you his to do the same. So, with shaking fingers, you punched in your phone number and then returned his phone to him.
âAnd then maybe after I could take you out for onion rings or something?â He offered, the slightest waver in his tone. He was nervous too. Just a little. He knew you were too good for him, but you were giving him a chance, so he wasnât going to waste it.
âYeah, thatâd be great. So, Friday then?â
âFriday.â He nodded, a little skip in his step as he walked away to brag to his bandmates.

RILEY ASTRID MEEKS â TWENTY-ONEâ DRUMMER
Also Known As: Meeks
Hometown: Scottsale, Arizona
Gender: Cisfemale
Sexuality: Bisexual
DOB: August 1st
Job on Tour: Drummer for Solace Deception
Voiceclaim: Hayley Williams
A LITTLE ABOUT...
Riley was six years old when her parents decided they didnât want to be together anymore. Exactly six years old. It was her sixth birthday and after listening to the two argue yet again, her mother had yelled that she wanted a divorce. Instead of being upset like her older brother, Riley has the distinct memory that she was thankful. At least then they would stop yelling at each other all the time.
What she hadnât expected was that her parents would spend hours with their lawyers deciding that they were going to split the Meeks children up. Her mother took custody of her brother - her father took her - and every summer they would switch who took both children. It was a shitty arrangement, or so Riley thought once she was old enough to fully understand what shitty arrangements were. She and her father relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona, where the majority of his family lived while Roderick and their mother went east.
Adjusting to life as a âsingle childâ was strange but easier than it had any right to be. People outside of her family didnât know her story and since she didnât want to talk about it, no one got close enough to learn it. Over the years, her Nana grew steadily more concerned that Riley wasnât making friends and encouraged her to get out more. Though Riley had no intention of doing so, one night out, she snuck into a bar and watched a local band perform. She was enamored. But it wasnât the singer in front of the crowd, swaying his hips and belting out notes into the microphone that did it for her - it was the guy behind him, the one who carried the set with a pair of sticks in his hands. The next day, she asked her dad to buy her a drum set.
Playing music opened doors in high school and Riley was soon invited to join a band. The first only lasted a few months but it didnât take long for a few people to ask her to start a new band with them; and that was how Killer Purple was started. Riley was steadily referred to by her last name and that gave her some strange sense of freedom; Riley was the quiet girl who had her family ripped to pieces on her birthday, but Meeks was a badass drummer who got along with all the musicians and had fun.
Killer Purple lasted two years, gaining attention outside of Scottsdale. Theyâd gotten a few shows here and there, and even eventually were signed to a record deal. At eighteen, she moved to California with her friends and they did the whole rockstar thing; made an album, had two singles on the radio, went on a tour across the States. Everything was going well until they started to renegotiate their contract - then everything fell to pieces. In the end, the lead singer left the band and the rest of Killer Purple went back to Scottsdale.
Riley hardly expected to be a huge star but she knew that she wasnât finished with music yet. Aside from filling in with a few local bands when they needed it, she put herself on Youtube. There were only one or two videos of her singing, but the rest was filled with videos of her drumming along to popular songs. Her viewership grew over the years and one day, she got an offer she never expected - to join Saint!California as their new drummer.
The rest is history.. or will be.

SONG: Fast Blue Optical Transients
SONG:
âFast Blue Optical Transientsâ [Download]
.
ARTIST: grant.
SOURCE: Science News 13 Dec 2021, âThe cosmic âCowâ may have produced a new neutron star or black hole,â as used in the post âBright and really heavy: What âThe Cowâ caused in deep space.â
ABSTRACT: I donât know if this is an experimental song or a pop song. I mean, for me theyâre all experiments, but I usually think of those as separate modes. I tried stealing the John Roderick âCinnamonâ trick again â playing a 3/4 song with a drummer doing 4/4 drums. And I kind of treated each track as its own thing. The âguitarâ thatâs all tinny and electric is a ukulele all mixed and remixed, and that feedback-like hum under the choruses is a 440 Hz sine wave, because thatâs the frequency of the X-ray oscillations inside The Cow â I had to work it in here somehow.
The words were put together to fit the melody in a kind of click-together tinker-toy way, not through my more usual way of humming and humming until a vocal melody emerged. Iâm not sure they flow properly, except the chorus⊠a chorus which wonât make a lick of sense to anybody not familiar with The Cow being a super-bright object that caught our attention and then faded away over a matter of days.
I wasnât really sure what to start writing about this month â The Cow seemed like the most poetic of the science stories, but itâs not nearly as evocative as, like, cannibal butterflies eating their babies or a mummy with a golden tongue. Still, it is sort of wonderful. The jargon â fast blue optical transients â is doing some of the heavy lifting for the lyric overall. Itâs a fun phrase, even if âfastâ and âtransientâ seems a little redundant.
The music actually started out at a plodding 100 bpm, but after doing a little cutting and figuring, OK, hereâs room for two stanzas, and this is how long a chorus should be, it started to seem really slow, so I sped it up to 140 bpm before recording vocals. I like the way the riffs fit together much more this way.
LYRICS: fast blue optical transients Lens flares flashing in the dusk We look away because we must
fast blue optical transients X-rays spinning like a sound Something is solid in that cloud
CH: We call it the cow â We call it the cow
fast blue optical transients Hours spent burning like a coal Until the fire left a hole
fast blue optical transients The oscillations follow Theyâre periodic, almost
CH: We call it the cow â We call it the cow
fast blue optical transients Spin a billion cycles In a 60 day recital.
fast blue optical transients A compact object in the dust Smaller than eight-fifty suns.
CH: We call it the cow â We call it the cow

Baby Ruthless Band Members
So I went from almost deleting Crowleyâs Human AU Punk Verse to giving the band a name and picking FCs for the rest of the band. I even came up with a little description for each member.
Chris Macky- VocalistÂ
(FC Kit Harrington)
Heâs as egotistical and self-absorbed as he looks. Being the lead vocalist, he sees himself as the most important member of the band. Heâs not. He is a complete Diva. (Yes, men can be one too.) He treats everyone around him likes slaves and only treats people with respect and public decency when he wants something from them (usually sex).He spends hours getting ready and making himself look âhot for the ladiesâ. Roddy hates his gut but is professional enough to put up with his overall dickish behaviour for the sake of the band.
Todd âTJâ Johnson- Guitarist
(Tyler Johnston)
Probably the shyest guitarist who ever existed, Todd is a babyfaced introvert who often gets female attention for being so âcuteâ. Roddy is probably the only member of the band who doesnât bully the poor guy and actually gets along with him just fine. Itâs just a shame that he has no self-confidence, often hiding his talent under a bushel. The most tragic thing about him, though, is he needs a high to feel comfortable in his own skin.Â
Joel âEddsyâ Edderton-Bassist.Â
(FC Joe Gilgun)
Loud.Brash. Annoying. The three words that best describe Baby Ruthlessâs bassist. His personality is always turned up to eleven and he doesnât appear to have a filter. Either that, or he doesnât know how to use it. Every day is a party to him and he doesnât take life seriously at all. His only saving grace is that he has passable talent, (unlike Chris) and is actually capable of being a decent human being. He just chooses to be a nob most of the time. Sadly.
And last but not least...
Roderick âRoddyâ Mcleod- Drummer
(FC Mark âhey itâs that guy!â Sheppard)
Roddy is probably the member most invested in the band and thus, the most enthusiastic. He mostly tries to stay out of arguments and keep the peace.Todd is the only guy he genuinely gets along with but heâs learned the art of faking it and so, to the outside world, all the members are best buddies. Drumming is his number one passion in life, so Roddy works hard to keep the band going no matter what. Because where would he be without it?
Chris, Todd and Joel are now side muses for this verse and will be added to the official page soon. They can be included in threads by request or IÂ may include them myself if the thread calls for it. (will always ask munâs permission first)
@faiththesinfulslayer (this is mostly for your benefit x)
