I'm thinking about Eternals and how Marvel inexplicably sold it as a hardcore love story despite the leads having absolute negative chemistry and seeming to have co context behind either their relationship or their breakup...meanwhile Drug and Makkari were around in the background as this actual immortal love story...they had common interests, chemistry, and an actual affinity for each other on their side, and it was all an accident because the actors played so well off of each other. Lauren had a bit of a fanbase from the Walking Dead and Barry was soon to become a much bigger star and yet Marvel did....nothing with it. All they seemingly care about is Harry fucking Styles and how many projects they can put him in or in reintroducing their beloved Ikaris into another guise where they hope people will flock to him.

‪the hate for The Eternals (2021) continues to baffle me. they are by far some of the mcu’s most compelling characters and it has one of my favorite mcu storylines ever. they are everything that people pretend that the avengers were.‬ the cinematography is gorgeous, the action scenes are some of the most exciting since endgame, and the cgi soars above the phase 4 standard. the found family trope was executed so well, every character has complexities and backstories that are well-defined, and the relationships between each of them are what drive the entire thing. i get that taste is subjective but i literally love this movie so much and i cannot understand why more people don’t feel the same way

I loved this beautiful Fanart of the Drukkari ship of the Eternals movie of the characters of Druig and Makkari together and especially because I really loved absolutely that in the Druig and Makkari are hugging clearly very in love with each other 2 but above all because I will not lie the ship of them together is my favorite in the Eternals movie and they are really very beautiful together... obviously I don't know about you but I personally really want to see you together again in all the upcoming series and movies of the UCM and that above all because then we could see them together again... honestly
