Why do people not like Jack manifold? I’m fairly new to the fandom and no one’s explained it thus far

okay so it's a little long and complicated (and my memory is kinda. bad) but i'll try my best to explain it!!

okay so basically like last april i believe (so like. really drummy achey time) jm went on a miz.kif's stream and not only did m discuss droxxes but also the topic of george fangirls came on and. well. jm read a tumblr post made by [REDACTED] and then kept commenting that all george fans are 15-year-old girls and was generally very condescending and unkind (in my opinion.) after the stream, many people were rightfully upset and tried to explain why it came across as misogynistic and hurtful. then, jm decided to go on stream to 'address the drama' and, istg, he came on and said that he said nothing wrong, he is not a misogynist by any means and people who got upset are the ones who actually are misogynistic and especially have internalized misogyny. so yeah.

also i think that a lot of people don't appreciate the gogy bit he does and generally find him off-putting. but yeah, i remember watching his "apology" stream (there was no apology) and feeling so deeply disgusted that blocked him on everything lmao

Miraculous Acts of Kindness will return!

Hello everyone!  This is Mod Droxx of Miraculous Acts of Kindness.  First, i wanted to apologise for the length of absence since our last post. We’ve all been fighting the darkness, and these past few months have been truly trying times for us all including the Kindness Kwamis. I myself have moved twice over the last six months, and currently am a penny less little gremlin acting as caregiver for my grandparents.  That being said, Miraculous Acts of Kindness will be making a return to the fandom soon, and we hope everyone will lend their hands in helping us make the fandom a better place.  With a little love, a like and a reblog, and a show of good faith, anyone can cleanse the akuma inside us all. On that note i must retire for the night.  Let the light in your hearts shine!

Here’s the color progress of my kwami Droxx in his latest design. The big image with brown and red is the final color palette i’m going with for the fire wyvern. woke up today sligtly bothered by the few examples of the....very anime-ish stupid "jokes" that narita unfortunately included in baccano. i'm not sure if it's just a cultural thing of me being too woke or whatever but... it's such a cliché to incorporate incest in animanga for funnies because ??? (think sao, bsd) i don't know. granted it really isn't that bad in baccano (there are only two instances i can remeber of times when i read a thing and went okay. that's not in-character, that's just narita being ehhhhh [one of which is the droxx comment about claudia and charon, the other being that time elmer said something i repressed it but i think it was at mark @ the bridge "if you were a girl and a little older blabla"]) i don't know. i just think. all could've worked without that

Woo! finally got time to stream today and got two things done: Darkblade for TheMasquedFox’s massive collab, and worked on cleaning up Droxx the kwami of Passion! I kept getting comments that he was too complex, so i’ve simplified his hair and fur some, and removed the end of his tail. and i added his antenna cause i’m such a derp i didn’t originally plan them OTL So ya! Updated: Droxx, Kwami of Passion and Fire Woo! \o/ updated Droxx, cleaned up the line-art and fixed some coloring. i got a few people mentioning he was a little too complex, and suggested some things. So i followed their advice and removed a lot of detail from his fur/fire, and removed the tail spike and blade all together. Hopefully now he looks a lot better! Also i’m trying something new with gradient backgrounds, let me know what you guys/girls/toasters/apachyattackhelicopters think of it!

Morning everyone! So last night i did a Kwami request stream, but it was late so i only got two done lol. First was Sheena by the ever enjoyable @mjvalenz, and the second is a revamp of Droxx the wyvern. This is still kinda a wip as i'm testing colors and the lineart needs cleaning but it's still something. I'll probably do another request stream today to practice more xD Let me know what you guys think of his looks, and any ideas fir a different color scheme.

Streaming Ahoy!

ya it’s late, but i’m not tired yet and i want to do some 3D modeling, so! some of you may recall i’ve been working on a dragon called Droxx, well, i’m not quite set on the design yet, so i’m working on redrawing it, but i want to make a 3D model of it to get a better grasp.  SO TLDR: Doing a 3D model stream come watch! 

PS: Miraculous Ladybug will be playing off to the side for anyone who cares, so you can watch that while i work. Disclaimer: I do not own Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir, credit goes to Zagtoons animation and Thomas Astruc. i’m just playing it for the enjoyment.
