BIOGRAPHY

Manny Henderson was born to Ray and Zoey Henderson on March 11th, 2017 in a little town in New Jersey. His family was pretty well off thanks to his father being a successful businessman and his mother a well-known realtor, so he and his younger sister Claire lived a comfortable and normal lifestyle. Except, Manny was anything but normal. His entire family carried the Metahuman gene, and his developed as a combination of psionic abilities and energy manipulation from both of his parents. His parents had one rule: don’t tell anyone. This was back when Metahumans were still very much feared by the public and hunted by the government so it was for his and his family’s protection.

In 2035, it was about time for Manny to head off to college at Pansaw University with a focus in graphic design as his major. He always had a passion for art and drawing, and he knew that he wanted to spend his life doing something that he loved. He had chosen Pansaw University not only for the program, but because his dreams and art the past year, while all vague, had been telling him to go to Pansaw. He wasn’t sure why, but he felt the need to find out for himself what was in Pansaw for him. He’d spent the first few months in school blending in, finding friends, studying, attending a few parties, and just being a normal guy in college. It wasn’t until about January of 2036 that his precognitive abilities began kicking in again on a regular basis with reoccurring dreams of faces he didn’t know in his sketchbook. These visions kept coming to him, getting stronger and stronger each day until finally, he literally walked right into his destiny one day.

Her name was Alice Rybak and she was also a Metahuman. Through his friendship with Alice, Manny joined the Rebel Army as a guard, wanting to help them win equal rights for Metahumans. After graduating college four years later, he permanently moved to Pansaw to continue assisting the Rebels in their fight, all with his family’s support and understanding. It was only a few months after that he was taken in by C.A.R.M.A when a mission went terribly wrong.

It took two years for C.A.R.M.A to perfectly wipe away Manny’s memories from his time in the Rebel Army and replace them with ones of him joining C.A.R.M.A of his own free will. A skilled psionic with telepathic abilities seemed to be quite a handy asset on the Meta Squad back then. His job in C.A.R.M.A, however, had him running into former Rebel friends, which began pulling his true memories out from deep within his subconscious. He didn’t voice it to many, but he started questioning how much he could trust the organization he worked for as he slowly started remembering more and more about his real past.  

After Pansaw defeated the Nephilim in the attack three years ago, he decided to stay as an agent within C.A.R.M.A, even with his real memories fully restored at this point. Manny figured he could really help Commander Sinclair with his telepathic abilities by weeding out the sources of corruption within the organization. That, and personally, he really liked working with his girlfriend, Hayden.

POWERS

PSIONIC-ERGOKINESIS: Manny has the ability to manipulate his own and others’ psionic energy in various ways, including manifesting in material form. His power has also granted him a few basic level psionic abilities.

WEAKNESSES

Control is extremely important; unconscious use of this power can be catastrophic. Overuse of psionic abilities can cause headaches, exhaustion, nose bleeds, unconsciousness, and possibly even coma. Other users of Psionic Energy Absorption can drain Manny’s energy, leaving him temporarily powerless. Users of Psychic Shield are either immune or highly resistant against mental attacks and Telepathy. Opponents who may be more powerful may be able to break through his mental shields. His Telepathy is constantly active and he is constantly hearing others’ thoughts; there is no way for him to turn it off naturally.

Adopted as a baby, he never truly fit in with the rest of the people in his city. While he was unnaturally strong for a small child, he only grew stronger as he grew. Hercules never felt as though he was meant to be there and as a result he tried even harder. Others called him names like Jercules and a freak when he was around. All he ever wanted to do was help and fit in but no matter what he seemed to push others away and make an even bigger fool of himself. When he was fourteen when he finally sat his parents down and told them exactly how he felt. With a heavy heart, they told him the truth. They told him that he was adopted as a baby and that there was a necklace with a strange symbol on it around his neck when they found him. With that as his only clue to finding his birth parents, Hercules set out to find where he truly belonged.

He was led to a man called Phil who taught him self defense and taught him how to be a true hero. But whenever they tried to prove this of him, Hercules was laughed at yet again. One day he crossed path’s with a young woman named Meg who was in need of his help. She was sassy and full of life. They began to spend more and more time together until he started to feel something for her. Eventually, he caught the eye of a man named Zeus while training. Zeus claimed that he knew something and wanted to help him. Leading him to become a star athlete and put both him and his childhood best friend, Pegasus, on the map. Zeus said that the more attention that was brought to him the more likely his parents would find him. Hercules believed everything he was told.

But then came the day when he went to meet with Meg and he saw her with another man. While he had no idea who this man was, he was still heartbroken. Hercules wanted answers and while he went to talk to her and demand an explanation, he discovered that she was gone. Nowhere to be found in their city. Still confused and heartbroken, he sought after her despite the warnings of both Phil and Pegasus. Who told him that she was no good, a fraud. Hercules didn’t buy any of it and packed his bags to leave for another realm that he would hopefully find Meg in.

unaware of his parent’s true affairs within their membership of PRIDE, he met yearly with the children of the rest of members, at first befriending them but as they grew they also grew apart. eventually, once they found out what they did, they formed the runaways (after, of course running away from home) and learned who and what he was.

→ Background

Named after Jane Austen’s famous literature characters, William or as he prefers to be called Will, is probably one of Baberton’s least favourite citizens. Living up to the renowned title of said character, Will’s appeal is far from friendly. During his teenage years, Will was often called obnoxious, narcissistic and a recluse. He would much rather hide behind his iron gates of his family’s estate than go out to the Green Dove pub with his fellow colleagues. Not like his sister Laura, who seemed much more outgoing. She was the shame of the family anyway, meanwhile Will was the star of everything and he enjoyed that. The benefit from each other, whenever she failed, he would get a back pat from his parents. He loved to stay to himself, and not have to go out and deal with people who weren’t worth his while anyway.

He was in College studying to become a lawyer along with his cousin Isaac when he agreed to one night out with his cousin and some of his friends. This one night out was one Friday night when he met a particular short and attractive girl by the name of Kelly Sharpe. She was years younger than him and while she was apparently not even old enough to drink, she got herself in here with some friends apparently. Despite his repellent attitude towards most people, Kelly saw what he really was underneath the wealthy and unpleasant personality. They started to flirt that night and he was intrigued and actually called her the next day. He didn’t even care that she was younger, she seemed smart, not the intellectual smart but she had a way with words he couldn’t get out of his head. Their relationship had a slow start, mostly consisting of heated banters and cute dates at his expense. It actually happened to be the first time he let his guard down and he was apparently her first boyfriend, which made this so much cheesier than he had wanted. He’d been mesmerized by her, just until things became a little more serious and he wanted to see her more than just once or twice a week. Turned out Kelly was in the little group with Annie Pierce and she poured all her time in with Annie, obsessing over her. It bugged him, he wanted to be number one, always. But she kept cancelling last minute when he had actually gone out of his way to create something romantic. It was silly but he had fallen for her. Hanging out around with her friend Annie didn’t work either. Will and Annie would regularly be arguing over some topic whenever they were in each other’s’ presence. They just didn’t click. It tired Will to no end which made him end his relationship to Kelly because of her addiction to Barberton’s most popular teenage girl. At the break up he’d said horrible things, saying things her never wanted to say, but he was just so frustrated. So he went back to his lonely ways, studying away, blaming Isaac for taking him out that one night and make him waste time on something like her. It made him feel ridiculous how often he defended Kelly in front of his parents, since they obviously hated her. As well as his sister, which surprised Will, especially because she’d always seemed to be rooting for William to find something.

The young man is still the obnoxious person he once was but the only difference is that now he’s even worse. His intelligence is of no question which makes him think he can act like he’s as smart as Einstein and no one has the courage to stand up to his degrading ways. Will only went to Annie’s funeral to see his old lover. He hides his feelings for Kelly since he knows she probably won’t take him back after the horrible things he’s said to Annie. Which makes him work even harder to get out of the little suburban town. He wants bigger but somehow he got stuck here, pining for a girl who just took him whenever she didn’t have another guy at arm or wanted to get rid of one. He’s stuck in an on an off thing with Kelly for years and it kills him because it feels like she’s not as into him as he is into her. So he’s cruel to her whenever he sees her and is not drunk. Feelings are silly and needed to stay put.

He managed to get his law degree by now and is now interning at the local Law firm. He sees himself either taking it over one day or making his dream come true and get out of her for something bigger. Somehow though, his parents have him tight down here and the promise of money makes him stay. At times he still hangs out with Isaac but usually focuses on sucking it up to Steve Bates who he’s supposed to work with.

→ What’s His Secret?

When Will was in his early twenties, right before he met Kelly when he was a little more reckless, he met a young girl who fell hopelessly in love with him at first sight. Holly Manning. Long story short, the young man got her pregnant. Due to his family’s strong influences, they managed to pay off the girl to keep it quiet in hopes of not damaging the Darcy reputation. The girl just didn’t meet their standards. However, the girl did manage to spill the beans to a specific raven haired girl. Annie knew of Will’s mishaps which is why she used to be nasty to him. The only thing is that he doesn’t know that she knows. Trouble is, what if she decides to come back to town?

Recently his parents decided to go back in time a few hundred years and promised him to some girl. Maybe because they always thought Kelly wasn’t good enough for him. The girl was Vivienne Kutcher and he saw her on one or two occasions but never cared much to look at her or actually knows who she is. He refused at first but agreed to at least one meeting with her just to shut them up.

•  ( drew van acker. 32. he/his. ) we spotted DYLAN MCKAY around toledo today, just another gear in the machine of the apocalypse. i heard he is a TRADER for AILTON TOWER. i guess it fits, seeing as he is known to be resourceful & loyal, as well as stubborn & skeptical. they often have little black submarines by the black keys stuck in their head while they work. i wonder if they’re prepared for what’s coming ?

hey everyone. i’m rae and it’s been years since i’ve been in this type of rp. that’s kind of like a disclaimer saying i don’t know what i’m doing, so please don’t judge me. i bring you dylan mckay, a hot mess who is a trader for ailton tower and really doesn’t know what’s going on besides there being an apocalypse. he’s a taurus, left-handed, and has luck on his side. also, this probably won’t show up in the tags because i made a new blog for this, whoops.

dylan mckay is originally from tyler, texas, the rose capital of america. his family owned and operated blueberry hill farms, a farm where anyone can pick their own berries and enjoy the sweet treats located in the bakery. his childhood was average, full of sports and playing outside versus staying indoors and glued to a screen. his family life was also average, being an only child. 

dylan had his fair share of relationships throughout high school and college, but it was during his junior year while studying engineering that he met the woman who would change his life. the two became engaged a few years after graduating, deciding to make their home in dallas, texas. 

when the outbreak first started, dylan and his fiance were in the middle of wedding planning. those plans came to a halt with the rapidly spreading virus, forcing dylan and natalie to retreat back to tyler, texas on his family’s farm. things were good for a while, they were able to survive off the land and build a makeshift fortress around the farm, but the inevitable happened. the infected found their way in one night while most of the family was sleeping, dylan’s father being the only one on alert. needless to say, dylan was the only one to make it out alive. he did his best to try to save his family, his fiance, but in the end there was nothing he could do.

dylan roamed the toledo bend reservoir on his own for months before he came across a group of survivors reinventing an old museum that would later be called ailton tower. though a bit wary at first, he finally decided to join their ranks and help turn ailton tower into what it is today. he serves as a trader, his resourcefulness coming in handy when it comes to bartering goods from the other two camps. while he would be better suited for farming, dylan’s come to trust and be loyal to his fellow survivors within the tower.

as for wanted connections? i still haven’t thought anything out fully but here are a few off the top of my head that could be fleshed out.

the person dylan trusts the most and vice versa. they would obviously have to be part of ailton tower but i suppose these two would be friends, always having each other’s backs.

frenemies. people dylan doesn’t trust that much and is always skeptical about. could be from any camp or a rogue.

enemies. just straight-up hate. maybe your character tried to kill him or something for supplies before the camps were established or maybe your character just tried to kill him or leave him for dead anyway, we can talk it out.

romance/sexual tension. i don’t really know if during something like this that dylan would have these kinds of thoughts on his mind, but i’m sure there’s some tension or flirting going on with someone around. it’s just bound to happen, human nature.
