#Dreams are strange

I'm really in it now ... Two nights ago I dreamed I was scrolling Tumblr and someone had posted pictures that Anna and Michael had gotten married in a very small garden wedding (Anna was wearing a lovely white slip dress and has flowers in her hair, and Michael had a grey suit) and everyone was outraged because the Tennants weren't there.

Then last night I had a dream with David (young David... His hair was awful!!) as the doctor and having a big confrontation with the villain (I don't know how we got to this point) and anyway David's doctor said something to talk the villain down and I think it was James Marsters, and then the villian says, "I know! I was you" and everyone laughed because apparently the villain was the doctor from the future and the audience already knew that...

So anyway, even though I rarely have dreams about them (the last time I dreamed about David Tennant, it was pre Good Omens 2 and he was at a convention and I won a short exclusive limo ride with him and he was upset he wasn't my favorite doctor but very happy when I told him I loved his Scrooge McDuck) I guess they are on my mind right now... For absolutely no reason...

A dream with you in it should feel like a nightmare.

But it didn’t.

I had a dream that there was this new slang called "smelking" and it was a negative word for the action of wiping snot on your clothes, and in addition a person who was particularly egregious for doing so was called a pretzel because of the white snot stains being plentiful, like salt on a pretzel.

It was meant to make people self conscious about doing gross things like sneezing into their hands and then wiping their hands on their pants.

Had a dream last night I was married to Jason Todd and we were in this huge building on a mission outside of Gotham. It was a combination of high rise condos and a Mega Corporation business with offices. We were renting one of the condos for the mission. At one point in the middle of the mission, he was panicking in the bathroom before getting in the shower because something happened.

He couldn’t stand look at himself or touch his own body to wash the blood off. So I went in, talked him down and stripped so he had something distracting to look at. I got him into the shower and helped him wash up. After assuring him there was nothing about it that would be sexual so he could just relax while I took care of him.

It was strangely peaceful. I knew it had to be a dream though because I was taller than him and I’m only 5’6”. But in the dream I viewed the world as if I was 7’ tall. Ducking doorways and just in general being too tall for things.

Maybe I just want to read some Jason’s Todd x Reader when Jason gets taken care of. That would be nice.

Who knows, maybe I’ll write a ficlette about this?

I had a dream last night that I was part of Kessoku Band but every member was replaced with people I knew except the lead singer and for some reason we were performing for like music judges? I wasn’t playing the bass like I do in real life but I was pretending to play an acoustic guitar because I was air guitaring while holding a Nintendo switch with a picture of an acoustic guitar on it and was just hoping no one would notice??? The bassist didn’t know how to play bass either so I just stared ahead blankly until the performance was over. Then after the performance was over the judges came up to give us our scores and this one guy was like “wow you need to get your shit together it seemed like you had no idea what song you were playing because you didn’t even know the words!” So I got a 1 out of 10 because I didn’t know the words and not because I actually wasn’t playing the acoustic guitar.

So I had a dream the other night that I still mostly remember, albeit it bits and pieces that don't necessarily fit coherently together.

Some of it that I remember is driving down the interstate, then visiting some university's department of geology or something, either scoping out a school or consulting with some expert based there. I can vividly remember the snowy parking lot and the building's brutalist architecture. Not too exciting.

Then at some point I am either reading Silmarillion fan fiction or just experiencing some Silmarillion derived nonsense series of events.

In the lore of Tolkien's Legendarium, the first men woke up around the first sunrise of Middle Earth. In the dream, I think one man woke up prematurely during the time of the Two Trees of Valinor, and for some reason that man has the memories of the recently deceased Finrod Felagund (I know Finrod didn't die in the book until well after the arrival of the Secondborn, dreams don't make sense).

Due to having either Finrod's soul or just his memories stuck in his head, this guy ends up technically being a Half-Elven instead of either the normal human or proto-Hobbit he might have supposed to be. So he and a normal elf go to a psychologist in Albany to figure things out. Because apparently the lore masters of Middle Earth operate from the Department of Mental Health office in Albany NY.

Then at some point he (or perhaps it's me, as I'm experiencing it in first person pov) is holding a sleeping infant with a scab on their left eyebrow. He is (or I am) standing at the edge of a vegetable garden that looks like the one behind my dad's house, except there's a forest inside and Yavanna of the Valar is in it. Apparently he's here to request her advice on what to do with the baby.

There was also some sequence of events involving the various possible origin of Orcs in Middle Earth, but I can't really recall it. Maybe it looped into the sequence of events where I'm visiting that one geology department, perhaps I was looking for an expert in Arda's prehistory. Or maybe I don't really remember.

So yeah.

The hold 911 has on me is insane. I had a dream about Buddie last night. They were slowly falling in love with each other (and getting together), over several years, amongst some very random things. Including, but not limited to, Markiplier being married to Bob Muyskens (Muyskerm) in a bad wig and poorly done make up. They also had a child. It gave me Spongebob and Patrick parenting the clam vibes.

FACT: Alll my dreams are black and white .. even if I look at say a green grass I don’t see it green just black and white like old movies. Occasionally I can lucid dream but not long cuz I know it won’t change the color of the thing I’m looking at ..

So yeah I had a dream that I went to the zoo and had brennan lee mulligan yell in a tiktok I was watching at said zoo to not pick fights with individual rats (as people were prone to do) because then they get fevers (because of the fights) and it takes forever to warm up their hands (the obvious procedure for curing rat fevers), and he doesn’t want to deal with warming up hundreds of rats’ hands. it was unclear whether the rats were contained and people were fighting them or if they were running around the zoo and people were just stumbling upon them and squaring up on sight. no I did not have a good nights sleep why do you ask

Part of a dream I just had was being driven around in a car with David Tennant. He was so much fun, but groaned when I said I loved him in Good Omens with Michael and was scandalized when I told him he wasn't my favorite Doctor. 😆😆

Of course he was mollified when I told him he was the best Scrooge McDuck ever. He was like, "Yes, exactly!" 😆

He was also super patient when I asked for a photo and then couldn't get my camera to work.

Also before I won the car ride with David, I saw the Good Omens 2 trailer ... Aziraphale kissed a Rubber Duck Crowley got for him. 😉

In Dreams is a episode in Clarence that is my absolute favorite. It talks about dreams and “dream signs” you can see that might help you realize you are actually in a dream. If you remember enough in your dream to follow some of these steps, though it’s in a kid show it can help!!

i used to be convinced that i had visited a family who lived in a house and their furniture was those big foam blocks that came in different colours and shapes, like the ones that we'd set up for sport at school in the gym when it was too wet to have the lesson outside

like proper convinced. it felt so so real. it was real!! ugh and i'd ask my parents every now and then 'remember that house...' and they'd be like ? no what are you talking about. and i'd be like you knowww the house!! with the furniture?! how do you not rememberr. gosh silly parents..

yeah that was deffs a dream lol. classic dream nonsense but so trippy because it had got mistaken in my brain as a real memory for years... so strange to think about. brains are so strange.

I had a dream last night where I was freddy fazbears pet human. He gave me head pats and forehead kisses. I was not allowed to sit on the sofa. It was very odd

I had a dream and suddenly realized it was a dream, but not to the extent where I realized it was not real.. I just realized I had an effect on things and that I would wake up soon. As a result of this realization I went to kiss someone goodbye before I woke up.

I think they were my companion in the dream? I don't remember what the dream was about, and I don't know what Character I was playing in the dream, because sometimes I dream that I'm someone entirely different from myself, but it is an odd and funny thing to remember.
