Went to a lo-fi art party in-game and started this while there and finished it afterwards. I think I may do a series of sketches around Dravania while I figure out what piece calls to me next.

Estinien alighted on the isolated pillar of stone. Kitali still had her back turned, facing out over the ruins, and hardly acknowledged his presence.

“Not going to join the festivities, I take it?” he asked as he sat down near her.

She snorted, but gave no further response.

Estinien settled back, copying her stance and looking out over the ruined landscape.

“I…..apologise if I overstepped earlier. With the boy.”

She inhaled slowly, and Estinien braced for the inevitable verbal lashing.

“You’re the first person to stand up for me like that, you know.”

He blinked beneath his helm. That was not the response he was expecting.

Kitali had turned to look at him. “You’re the first person since taking a job from the Scions to worry what would happen to me. Me, the person, not the Warrior of Light, slayer of primals.”

“Often have I found myself in a similar position,” he said after a pause. “Your little lordling seems far too comfortable ordering you around as one would an attack hound. Are the rest of your Scion compatriots truly no better?”

“No.” The answer was immediate. “I’ll help find them, but after that...I’m done.”

“Small wonder you have adopted the Ishgardian cause as your own so quickly,” he mused.

Kitali made a small noise of agreement.

“Why bother finding them at all, then?”

“I owe them a debt,” she said simply. “But they can’t offer me anything that Ishgard can’t.”

“Hmm. Their loss.”

“Not my problem.”

The silence that fell between them was...less tense than it was before. In this single small conversation he had learned more information about her than he had in months spent cooped up in the Holy See with her. But there would be time to think about it later.

“It’s late,” he said into the space between them. “You should rest after having to confront the Gnath’s god. I’ll take first watch.”

Without seeing if she followed, he took off again towards the Vath’s encampment.

The Peacemaker Descends

After such a long wait and much anticipation, today I've finished my cosplay of Zooey from Granblue Fantasy, my favorite character of all time 🥳🥳🥳

I'm really happy with this, the only issue being the shield looking a bit too dark on most areas, but I can get a brighter blue one later in DT
