Pondering a fresh story idea where the main character's avatar looks like mob boss Cell...

There exists a fantastic online manga (it might be available in book form?) that follows a young man who dies and is reincarnated as Yamcha, from our beloved #DragonBallZ.

The character proceeds to become the version of Yamcha we all know he dreams of ACTUALLY being.

Running with that line of thought, here's a version where our main reincarnated as Perfect Cell. Knowing perfectly well how Cell's short life played out the first time, he faces his new reality, equipped with a bizarre but helpful video game like HUD display and the ability to level up, and aims his ambitions at becoming universe 7's most powerful ruler...

Synopsis: The Z fighters have fallen. Cell, the ultimate bio-android, emerges victorious and seizes control of Earth, declaring himself the supreme ruler. So I figured since I'm diving head first into Dragon Ball, I thought I should make my own OC too :>

Whenever I set up a blog for my dbz stuff, I have a little spinoff story I'm mentally brewing that I'd like to put her in. Without getting into too much detail (because im still working them out), Kariyah becomes Cell's pupil. Taking place in the reformed perfect cell au, as part of his punishment for his past wrongdoings, Cell has to find somebody to train, and because he still more or less dislikes Goku and Vegeta, he'd rather choose somebody randomly off the street than to teach their kids lol. So he literally kidnaps this poor girl and is like, "I'll train this brat, take it or leave it." And henceforth chaos ensues lol.

I'm a sucker for the bad guy/villain meets innocent cinnamon roll character trope, so that's the idea I have for Kariyah's relationship dynamic with people. Looks like she can kill you, but is actually a cinnamon roll. She does have a sassy streak in her though lol. Her and Goku would probably be best friends XD

THE ONLY REASON CELL IS DEFEATED IS BECAUSE GOKU, GOHAN, AND VEGETA ALL LET GO OF THEIR ARROGANCE AND PRIDE AND FIGHT TOGETHER

GOKU STEPS IN TO HELP GOHAN, WHICH HE DIDNT DO BEFORE BECAUSE HE THOUGHT GOHAN COULD DO IT HIMSELF

VEGETA HELPS GOHAN AND LANDS THE PENULTIMATE BLOW ON CELL, DESPITE WANTING TO BE THE ONE TO END CELL HIMSELF

GOHAN FINALLY FINISHES HIM LIKE HE REFUSED TO DO BEFORE

THEY ALL LET GO OF THEIR ARROGANCE AND FINISH THE JOB

THATS THE THEMATIC POINT OF THE SAGA
