Ok I just wanna set the record straight on something. Ive been seeing all the lil keekeeing when it comes to Toji and his hygiene. Rumors of him looking and being musty and what not…

I’ll have you know that my guy showers regularly. Sometimes twice a day. Sometimes with yours trully.🌚

Ive seen it for myself what products he uses and how meticulous he is when it comes to smelling good.

Formally an Irish Spring and Head&Shoulders type of guy, Toji now washes his hair with Dr.Squatch and showers with Dr.Bronners peppermint scented soap. Said he enjoys the tingly feeling and has expressed that its like he can feel his “ballsack breathing”

His words. Not mine.

After cleansing he uses Method Men body wash , the cedar + cypress scent. Under arms with Dove Mens+care with a spritz of that Creed Aventus cologne over his chest and wrists and he’s good to go. Every day, sometimes twice as previously stated.

Even his sweat smells good.

ALSO if you have problems with whiteheads and/or cystic acne PLS buy the COSRX acne pimple patches. ive been having a bad hormonal acne outbreak for like 2 months now since my cycles started acting up again. they're like $5 on Amazon for a sheet of 24 patches. i just got them on Thursday and every one of my pimples is fucking gone. I had like 7 whiteheads and now I don't have any. for the first time in 2 months I don't have any acne and I'm LIVING. I wish I took before n after pics but all that's left is acne scars. i put a patch on and left it for a few hours while I napped and when I woke up the entire whitehead popped on its own. like when you take them off you can see all the gross oil and dirt and sebum and stuff that was on your skin. like the entire pimple will come off on the patch if you let it sit for long enough and it doesn't even hurt. also for deep rooted cystic acne that doesn't come to a head, it works too. i always get painful bumps on my cheeks that never actually turn into real pimples so I put one of the big ones on the side of my face and it stopped hurting in 2 hours and all that's left it a little scar. ALSO the Nature Republic 92% aloe gel is great for acne scars. I just don't recommend using it as a standalone moisturizer, as it's really thin and kinda watery even though it's a gel. also it has some alcohol in it so it works great for burns and scars but not so much as a moisturizer. but it's like $7 or $8 on Amazon and you get the biggest fuckin jar of it and you only need the tiniest little bit. I've used it twice a day everyday since Thursday and you can't even tell I used it at all. it DOES give moisture though, just not enough to keep you hydrated on it's own. i had two pimples on my chin and I used the patches to get rid of them then the aloe gel and the COSRX salicylic acid wash took the scars away. you can't even tell I ever had a pimple there. ALSO ALSO the Esfolio Volcanic Ash mask is great for acne prone skin.

when you woke up, eren wasn’t lying next to you. you were still sore from yesterday’s events so you made your way slowly to his bathroom to brush your teeth and take a shower. due to you spending a lot of time at his place, he always had your daily self care things in his apartment. you grabbed your dr.bronners peppermint body wash and lathered it into your african net, then went in with your methods body wash. after you dried off, you put on your eos vanilla cashmere lotion and finished it off with shea butter to seal in the moisture. you stole a pair of his boxers and hoodie from his closet, then quickly put your knotless braids into a ponytail.

“baby where are you?,” you called out as you walked out of his room. “im in the kitchen baby”, eren responded. when you turned the corner, eren was standing there with his damp midlength hair hanging freely; he was shirtless, dressed in gray sweatpants, and he looked good. you could tell he was cooking french toast from the aroma in the air.

“why’d you leave while i was sleeping, loser?”, you commented as you reached your arm to flick his forehead. eren gently pushed you and asked, "to make food, food or cuddles, which one is it?"  “hmph” you said as you turned to sit at the island in the kitchen. “you smell good” eren said as he flipped the french toast over in the pan. 

“thank you and i never said thank you for buying all the stuff i use and keeping it at your place for when i stay over”

“is your back okay?”, you asked. “oh now you’re worried about my back” he said as he laughed softly. last night when eren was fucking you with you with your ankles on his shoulders, you scratched his back a lot. he was hitting your spots and you needed something to cling onto and his back was your victim. in the moment you didn’t care  about how much your acrylics were scratching his back, all you were focused on were the lewd comments he was whispering in your ear as you came around his dick.

 “shut up i’ll look at it after we eat, okay” you commented. “yes captain”, he said.

eren finished preparing the food then placed a plate before you and beside you. his tall figure moved to take a seat beside you next to you on the island. he grabbed you’re face gently by your jaw to kiss you slowly as he pulled away smiling admiring your beauty.

“what was that for” you said as you pulled away from the kiss. “nothing you’re just beautiful baby, let’s eat though” he said as he poured syrup onto his french toast. 

you were so lucky to find a guy like eren. you thought your best friend sasha was joking when she told you he had a huge crush on you. you seen him in your calculus class many times throughout the semester and always thought he was cute but were too scared to approach him. one day as you were pulling out your ipad and notepad from your fjallraven school bag you noticed his tall figure.

“is it okay if i sit here?”

“um yeah it’s fine”, you said as you tried your best to keep your composure.

he smelled of laundry detergent and blue de chanel and it was really hard to focus on what your professor was saying.

you thanked the heavens that you actually put an effort into what you wore to class. your braids were pulled into a high ponytail that accentuated your features. you wore a grandpa sweater you thrifted with mom jeans and your boston birkenstocks with the fluffiest socks. 

when you sneaked a peek at eren, he was concentrating on what the professor was saying, his apple pencil in hand, scribbling on his ipad. his long hair was tied back in a bun, and he wore black frames which rested on his nose bridge. he was cute, and you knew millions of other girls on campus were fawning over him.

as you packed your belongings to leave because class was over, eren tapped your shoulder to get your attention. you looked over at him and asked, “do you need something” in a soft tone.

“uh no, but i think you’re beautiful, and i really want to get to know you. if you don’t mind, i want to take you out on a date whenever you’re free” he said shyly.

you smiled at him, making your chin dimples appear. “i’d love to here’s my number and text me,” you said as you wrote your number on a piece of paper. 

the rest was history; he continuously took you out on dates and made time for you with his busy school schedule. eren was patient with you even when you tried to push him away, which no boy ever did, and that’s why you loved him. 

you were pulled from your thoughts as eren handed you a rinsed fork so you could eat your food.

“this looks good baby” you said smiling down at your food.

“only the best for the best girl” he said smiling down at you.

you used your hand to shove his face away while laughing.

after you guys ate, you both sat on the couch to watch a movie.“you’ve got to stop stealing my clothes, y/n” he said, taking a look at what you were wearing. “it’s not my fault they're comfortable, and you know you love it when i wear your clothes,"  you said, smiling at him.

you found yourself drifting off to sleep on eren's chest as tangled continued to play in the background. spring semester kicked your ass and you were glad it was finally over so you could sleep more, travel with your friends, and hang out with your boyfriend. you knew eren was already sleeping by the way his chest was slowly rising and falling beneath you. you finally decided to shut your eyes and enjoy your nap with your boyfriend.

How to Smell Dreamy (Body Care Tips + Routine)

One of my Dream Girl goals is to get more invested in body care; a huge part of that is learning how to make my body smell good! (fragrance wise) I feel like I've finally cracked the code for myself, and I'm ready to share it!

In Shower

Washing order:

♡ face ♡ feminine area ♡ hair ♡ body (arms, legs, stomach, back)

♡ bum

♡feet

Face and Feminine Area

Your face and feminine area are the two most sensitive parts of your body, which is why they should be cleansed first. Cleanse your face first to avoid getting any unwanted body care products on your face.

Next, your Feminine area. Your feminine has a lot of hidden creases; if it's not cleansed properly, you can get buildup around your "inner lips" (labia minora) which will cause odor.

♡ Take a wet Q-tip and clean your "inner lips" and clitoris. If needed, use a hand mirror to make sure you're removing any possible build-up.

♡ After you are done (with clean hands) wash the entire area. DO NOT wash inside of the hole, and DON'T use a fragrance wash. Simply using warm water is the best option, but if you feel more comfortable using a wash, my favorites are the Unscented and Peppermint Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap and Honey Pot's foam wash.

Tip: If you are experiencing a slight odor, wash with diluted apple cider vinegar to help balance your PH.

Hair

Hair products and the buildup from your hair can cause breakouts. Wash your hair first, so then you can make sure everything is rinsed and cleansed off after.

Cleaning Body

♡ Start by washing your entire body with SOAP. Girlies... Dove is not soap. Dove is a "moisturizing beauty bar with a mild cleanser." Which mild is okay for washing your face, but not your body, in my opinion.

Of course, use what you want, but I suggest at least mixing it with soap. As always, I recommend Dr.Bronners Soap.

- Use an exfoliating cloth to clean your back. This will help get those hard-to-reach places and prevent/clear any bacne.

- Don't forget to wash behind your ears, your neck, and your belly button.

♡ Now exfoliate. You should exfoliate once or twice a week. DON'T use sugar scrubs!! Super unsanitary. I don't know much about chemical exfoliants, but I am currently using Soap and Glory: Scrub of your life - and I'm obsessed.

- Exfoliate your neck, arms, shoulder, (bum) cheeks, and legs. You can also exfoliate your armpits, but DO NOT exfoliate your armpits on shaving day.

Making body smell good (the fun part!)

♡ Use products with strong scents. I personally find that creamy body washes have stronger and lasting scents.

♡ Apply products directly to the skin to prevent them from absorbing too much into what you're using to wash.

♡ Layer your products - use products with the same notes.

♡ DO NOT immediately wash the products off - let it sit for at least 2-5 minutes, so the scent can stick to your skin.

Bum And Feet

♡ Use your washcloth to clean your bum last since it holds the most bacteria. I like mixing soap and Vagisil.

♡ Lastly, your feet. Use a foot brush and callus remover.

- DON'T use the same washcloth for days - Washcloths should be put in the laundry after every use.

Out of Shower

♡ (With clean hands) apply face products.

♡ Apply your scented lotion to damp skin, so it will absorb into your skin.

- Mix your lotion with perfume oil for an even stronger and lasting scent!

♡ Apply Deodorant - If you are a sweaty girl, use dry spray deodorant and apply it to all of your problem areas.

♡ Apply perfume to pulse points - Put vaseline on pulse points first and DON'T rub in the perfume.

♡ Get Dressed and then apply a generous amount of (matching) body mist all over your body.

Now you should be feeling good and smelling dreamy!

So I love bugs, especially beetles, but the scarab chafers are pretty bad this year and are not staying away from my garden no matter how much lavender dr.bronner’s soap I spray. I don’t wanna use neem oil and actually kill the beetles, and googling it just shows me horrible insecticides to use. Do you potentially know anyways to make plants smell or taste so horrible to beetles that they will ignore it?

If keeping garden pests away were that easy, there wouldn't be such a huge market for insecticides! You could try picking them off by hand and then putting netting over your plants...of course if you want them to be pollinated, the netting would have to be large enough to let other pollinators through but not the beetles. And if this is a flower garden and you want it to be attractive, the netting sort of puts a damper on that...

If anyone else has any ideas that may be helpful, feel free to share! I've never personally had a problem with beetles so I don't have much input.
